The room was exceedingly humid from the moment we walked in, and when we took a shower we could tell why. The fan wasn't nearly powerful enough to take the steam away. The floors felt tacky underfoot although they looked pretty clean. Pillows were absolutely awful. Breakfast was atrocious - powdered eggs that were cold, gristly sausages and underwhelming potatoes. We had to ask for bread for toast, and after trying the toaster 3 times on high we had vaguely warm bread with rock hard butter. The gym was a nice surprise but we didn't have time to use it.

Parking was convenient, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was busy with multiple teams and food was always stocked. Only complaint was the neighbors we had, underage kids up all night, but thats out of the hotels control. We visited blast of bay during our stay, that alone was worth our trip.

The room could have used a little work, tub didn’t want to drain so had to unclog it and the shower head was spraying water when having it just run the bath. The waterpark was great though! Also breakfast wasn’t good, out of a lot of stuff, guy said truck didnt come.

The amenities were good. There's a good breakfast, big pool, great staff. The room was okay. Our shower curtain had a bunch of stains on it and the blankets had hairs all tangled up in them, but otherwise okay. The biggest issue was the fact that there was some baseball team staying there, teenagers, and they were super loud late at night and even had one laying in front of our door for quite a while, so made it difficult to get out of our room. It is nice that Blast Off Bay is right down the hallway, just be aware that that is not included in the price of the hotel. I was not aware of that since the first picture on the Expedia website is the water park. So, just be prepared to spend $25 a person for every day for the water park. The breakfast was decent and the location is great. Not a whole lot of noise, other than the loud baseball team that seemed to be everywhere throughout the entire hotel. The trash can was always full on our floor, so I felt bad that we had to leave bags of trash in our room for housekeeping.

Overall we had a really good stay. The hotel itself was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything went smoothly during our visit.

The only disappointment for us was realizing the waterpark is closed Monday through Wednesday. That was completely my error for not checking more carefully before booking so I don’t blame the hotel for it but it was still a big bummer since that was a major reason we chose this location for our family trip. They do, however, have a heated pool available which was very nice!

Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again, especially on days the waterpark is open.

The facility was very nice and clean. Room was a nice size. Parking was easily accessible. Breakfast had good options. This hotel is attached to a water park and a health club and the 2 indoor swimming pools, complete with bleachers, used by the health club the hotel guests also get to use. A very unusual option. The only negative thing I could find is that the coffee they offered to guests did not have any decaf option nor was there any decaf provided in the guest room.

The hotel is very modern as one would expect of a Hampton. However, it is starting to show signs of insufficient maintenance. Chairs in breakfast area are fraying. The juice machine was out order. When we arrived in our room we found there were no wash cloths, no bath mat and no cups for coffee or water. We noticed another thing, the toilet seat was in the upright position. The toilet seemed to be clean but it appeared the maid went on break after cleaning and forgot to come back and finish.

I was very disappointed with the condition of my room during my recent stay at Hampton Inn. Cleanliness and maintenance are basic expectations, especially for a brand that promotes consistency and quality.

The bathroom door was visibly dirty, which immediately raised concerns about the overall sanitation of the room. In addition, the sink faucet was loose and unstable, making it difficult to use and giving the impression that routine maintenance is being overlooked.

These issues are unacceptable for any hotel, but particularly at a Hampton Inn where guests expect a clean, well-maintained environment.

Wanted to be okay with this property. The hotel was not clean. There was food all over the floor of the elevator multiple times. The elevators not only had crushed food on the floor but each time we got in there was a different odor, one morning strong vomit smell. The garbage was over flowing in multiple places and the area where we waited for the elevator on the 4th floor wrecked of trashed for the entire fist morning we were there. Due to the water park there was water all over the floor of the lobby area throughout our stay. In a dining areas near the elevators there was an overwhelming smell of mildewy towels. They ran out of coffee multiple mornings and did not stay on top of replacing things And finally our bed was a disaster. The head of the bed was lower at an angle, which for me led to waking with headaches each morning. Pillows were no help as they flattened immediately. Staff was not rude but also not friendly or helpful. They just seemed to be there. Will not be staying again

The website shows a water park and the hotels website says that the water park is included when you stay in a room but that is not true. The heating unit on the wall was leaking so much cold air around it. Our room was constantly cold no matter what we did. We wanted a hotel close to the Tanganyika Wildlife Park and this Hampton Inn fit the bill. The hotel lobby was clean and inviting. The desk clerk who checked us in late at night (sorry, none of them had name tags!) was very conscientious. I mentioned that we had two separate reservations for consecutive nights and he ensured the morning crew knew that, so we didn't have to change rooms.

The room itself was very clean, as were the towels and bed linens. We stayed in a room at the end of the hall, so it was peacefully quiet. The breakfast room crew was on the ball, keeping everything replenished as people arrived and the eating area neat and tidy.

Overall, this was a great experience!

We were eo excited to get a great price. We visit the area often and have been wanting to try this place out! It didnt start out great. We were very tired when we arrived. We had just gotten all unpacked, comfortable and ready for bed when we realized that the thermostat wasnt working. So we had to pack everything back up and change rooms. The next morning we got up early to workout. We were excited to be able tomise the Genesis gym that is attached to the hotel. It was supposed to open at 5. We went down at 5:30 and the doors weren't open. We had to walk all the way around to the main doors of the gym in the cold. The gym was very nice and not busy at all! Then we went to breakfast. We were very disappointed in breakfast. There were bery few options. There was oatmeal but no toppings, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, cereal and bread and bagels. It would have been nice to have some yogurt and some better fruit options. Overall the stay was good and we would stay here again.

There was absolutely nothing for breakfast. Every juice was empty, no eggs, no potatoes. Just sausage and a pitcher of ice water and some croissants. The lady just kept saying that no one made a reorder for the breakfast stuff which shouldn’t be said to guests in my opinion. She didn’t seem to care that this is an important part of a person’s stay. They should’ve gone to the store for breakfast items or something. The housekeeping staff however were EXTREMELY hardworking and so kind and helpful!! That must be such a backbreaking job and they deserve a big pat on the back.

Not the pool I expected.

Parking was easy and convenient to the front door. When we checked in the room we were assigned was not ready for new guests. The front desk was able to give us a new room as well as make recommendations for nearby restaurant.
That said when I booked the room the \"POOL\" picture showed the WaterPark that is part of the building (Genesis Gym, Blast Off Bay, Hampton Inn). That said the water park is not part of the hotel. The pool that hotel guests are able to use is part of Genesis, and it is a small pool with 2 lap lanes, next to the Maintenace room. If a hotel guest wants to use a Hot Tub, they have to pay to use the water park.
The hotel is less than a 5 minute drive from a Braum's and Walmart. The restaurant recommended by the staff is call the Sandbox, excellent food.

Clean and friendly...but some kinks to work out.

Parking lot was safe and desk staff was friendly. Our bathroom did not have any soap and my husband had to ask the housekeeping staff. The response was that they ran out of soap. When he explained that we needed to have soap, she produced a half a bottle of Equate hand soap. I am not sure why we were not given that to begin with. The next morning, while in the shower, he discovered that the shampoo dispenser was completely empty. When he told the person at the front desk, she said she would get some as soon as possible...little help as we were checking out to continue our journey.
