Don't bother staying here
The room had a funky smell to it, it was not all.like it looked on the photos. There were too many sketchy people there, and my friend and I could have sworn we saw a drug deal taking place within the building.

Everything was in disrepair. A very unsafe area to be in, verified by cops that were in the facility when I left. Ended up getting a refund to go stayvat a differnet hotel, the front desk sent us to 3 different rooms so WE could check the cleanliness when thats not the customers job at all. The 1st room we were sent to the room was in complete disarray, bed sheets strewn across the room, smelled like dog or cat urine. Second room and 3rd room had grafiti on the tv stand and the bed sheets and blanket were covered in little holes and unknown stains. Upon leaving, 3 officers pulled up to attend to whatever disturbance had happened while I was there, when they were finished i proceeded to ask them how often they get calls to this location and they responded with daily and told me that none of the hotels in that area are hospitable. I was not going to stay there myself let alone stay there while I was traveling with my littles. Just disgusting and 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!

When I arrived no one was at the front desk. I waited 20 minutes for a person. To say that the inside is nothing like the pictures here and is dilapidated is an understatement! The gentleman who did finally arrive looked up my name for the reservation, confirmed I wanted 2 beds and handed me a key with a room number andtold me to go look at the room to see if I wanted it. When I got to the 3rd floor and the elevator opened it looked like a scene from The Shining. I finally found the room and the door was cracked open, lights on and smelled of urine. There was hole in the wall between the beds. The entire floor smelled of marijuana and urine, possibly other substances. Also there were several rooms playing loud music.

This place was a HOLE. Bedbugs, cockroaches and drug addled teens infested this hole. There were no towel, toilet paper, or otherwise toiletries. There was a burned down cigarette butt on the counter sink. Never ever, stay here. I’ll be asking for a full refund.

Honestly don’t know why this place is still running. Does seem like new guy is trying but just isn’t cutting it. Had to ask for lightbulbs for the lamps, towels, pillows (which had no pillowcases) towels and batteries for the tv remote. People there are nothing but trouble and constantly have the cops there multiple times a night!!! Smells really bad and just all the way around terrible… the building just needs to be bulldozed, or someone that has the resources and money needs to come redo the WHOLE place!! They have holes in walls. Curtains torn down in rooms… I would have asked for a refund but the hotel has little papers posted in the front desk glass saying no refund no matter what. Another one said you pay $1 for every roll of toilet paper needed… ect just weird little strange rules and random fees that you wouldn’t see anywhere else

This property in this area is the worst hotel or Moto I have ever been to there are people literally outside the rooms prostituting themselves there’s drug dealers all over the hotel there’s constantly cops outside patrolling the area constantly my toilet was flooding my entire entire room and smelled like poop had no refrigerator and no glass plate for my microwave. No TV remote no blankets.

Do not stay here, this should not be on hotels . com. Lots of drugs. Lots of human creatures creeping around at night. My door was constantly being knocked on throughout the night. Any hour in the night I could see half a dozen people through the drilled out peephole. Shouting from a lady between 1:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. rarely is someone working the front desk. I am trying to get a refund because I booked for two days. Good hotel if you are a homeless drug addict.

When I booked this room, I had no idea the hotel was undergoing renovations, and I wish it had been noted prior to booking. There was all kinds of noise outside my room that staying and sleeping was not possible. Pretty disappointed.

The pictures are not like the hotel. It seemed like most things were damaged or stolen. No phone, no fridge, no lamp shades, shower curtain rod was completely broken, desk was missing drawers, no cable or anything on the tv. Ect.... Went down to tell them about the cable and was told someone would come with one and no one showed up. Went down later for toilet paper and towels waiting and walking around for 20 minutes i gave up. Watch out for the mattresses too. The springs are sticking out and one scratched my daughter. We slept and woke up and left, we did not want to stay any longer. 0/5

I had a reservation but when I arrived to check in they told me they’ve booked all the rooms. We took a walk to see if one room was possibly available but it was dirty so it wasn’t available. During the walk I almost threw up from how bad it smelled. There were big trash bins full of garbage to the point it spilled everywhere on the floor. This place looked like a homeless shelter.

Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at for a number of reasons. Should have walked away when we walked in and there were \"No Drugs Allowed\" signs everywhere but I had already paid so we stayed the night. The place is infested with drug addicts. There was a lady literally smoking in the hallway. It's dirty, there was a mini fridge on top of a broken mini fridge, curtains had burn holes, the door didn't lock properly, there was 1 \"full\" size towel in the room and when my wife asked for more the lady at the front said \"I don't think we have any, people take them and do all kinds of things with them and we don't get them back but I'll check\" and then we never got another towel. Then the icing on the cake was being woke up at 7am to what sounded like gunshots but turned out to be a lady trying to beat down the door with a hammer next door to fight her baby daddy's new girlfriend. When she couldn't get in that way she went around back and threw 3 rocks, a brick, and the hammer at the sliding glass door. She was so drugged out she missed all of them. Then when I tried to call the office to report it they never even answered the phone. We booked 2 nights but we checked out after that. It smells like weed and dog pee. This place should be shut down and torn down. Unless you're a drug addict yourself you should probably stay as far away from this place as you can. Only positive takeaway was an absolutely ridiculous story to tell.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The signs for \"no drugs on premises\" \"no visitors\" should have been a warning. Upon check in the guy took my ID and wanted us to go \"check the room\", we didn't know what he would say if we didn't like the room. Never could get the key card to work at our door. Had no toilet seat in the bathroom and NO toilet paper. Things were falling apart, one of the faucets in the bathroom didnt work, the AC didnt work, and the place smelled hightly of smoke. We felt extremely unsafe the whole time, will NEVER stay here again.

I signed up for a non-smoking room. The room they gave me had cigarette burns all over the floor/matress/comforters. The room smelled like smoke. The door was broken and didn't work properly. The beds had white sheets that had \"human\" stains in multiple places. The stairway where they stored trash smelled hideous. Someone in the hallway asked if I was holding. This place is so bad and run down i cant even explain. The only thing that is half nice about this place is the entryway/lobby. Stay away from this place unless you are a drug addict. This hotel is one of the worst places that I have ever stayed. At check in , there were several people in the lobby waiting for the front desk clerk who took 15 minutes to show up. The room that I was checked into was not fully made up. Towels and comforter were missing. This is a pet friendly hotel and there were several guest staying there with theirs dogs and it was like spending the night at a dog kennel with the sounds of dog literally yelping echoing down the halls. The entire places smelled of cigarette smoke and there were stains all over the walls, drapes and carpet. The absolute worst part was in the morning I was pulled over by the local police while leaving the hotel. After showing my DL and insurance and having my name run through their system to make sure I didn't have any warrants , the police officer explained to me that the hotel that I was seen leaving has a history of a lot of drug activity. I agreed to let them search my vehicle and afterwards they were very nice and apologized for any inconvenience. I was absolutely mortified! I will never stay there again or refer anyone that I know to that establishment.

This property should be removed from Travelocity. I have been to many hotels and even horrible hotels. This is so far from even the worst, I have no words. I had to inspect the room first before I could check in. The ceiling was in shambles. People Dong drugs all over. Dogs barking and people yelling all night. Building was not secure. Dried blood on sheets, white towels were beyond disgusting with black and brown stains. Ac did not work. Walls super thin. Does did not seal fully and locks barely worked. Not safe, very dirty. I’ll put up with a ton, so I went against leaving and giving up my money to go to another place just because I didn’t want to leave after dark. Worst hotel to stay in, I’ve ever seen. The only plus was there were no bed bugs in the room I stayed in.

I didn't even finish checking in! The front desk asked me to check the room to see if it was \"to my liking\" before confirming the room for me. It was trashed, and I'm pretty sure it was still occupied (didn't dare go in to confirm). He gave me a second room to check and followed me with 2 other possible keys. The 2nd key didn't work, so he was going to let me in. There was someone in there. There was someone in the 3rd room that he was checking while I was checking the 2nd. I lost all faith in the safety of me and my belongings, so I immediately contacted Expedia customer service to see how to transfer or book somewhere else after a refund. Oh, and a customer that seemingly stays there frequently suggested that this was the norm. As a woman traveling alone, there is no way I was staying there.

The room i originally got checked into was dirty. Found a condom wrapper under the bed. The drop ceiling in the bathroom had one of the tiles halfway hanging down exposing insulation and pipes and a wire then it completely fell down. I took pictures and talked to the general manager and she said no one was supposed to get that room but she upgraded me to suite which had a patio it was a lot nicer the bed was nice but there were always cops therw and a woman opened a door of her room and a pitbull chased me and the hallways are so long it takes a while to walk to the the front desk

When I got to the hotel, there was no room available for me so I sat on the phone for over an hour waiting to be relocated to which I was relocated but it was after that phone call got disconnected so I ended up driving home in a storm. Because I didn't have a room and still have not got my refund.

The staff for the most part were kind and courteous. The room was clean and spacious. The furniture and fixtures need to be updated. The desk was missing a drawer. The smoke detector was nonexistent. The internet was spotty and I was never able to connect it to my laptop. On my last full day there the television lost power. I got one of the staff to help me get it turned back on. She had to unplug the cords until it came back on. When the TV did come back on there was no signal or connection to Cox Cable. The remote provided didn't work. Being that I travel quite a bit during my summer off, I carry a universal remote with me but that doesn't control the cable, just the TV settings. I usually set the sleep timer at night so the TV turns itself off. I had to be somewhere mid-afternoon and told the front desk about my having no signal or connection to Cox and was told they would send someone up to take care of the situation but no one came so I had no TV from 1:20 pm on Saturday until I checked out on Sunday. Since I couldn't connect my laptop to the Internet, I had to entertain myself using my mobile phone. Be prepared to walk a long distance from your room to the elevator. They have stairs and exits but if you are 67 with bad knees like me, you don’t take the stairs. I was on the 2nd floor. Not many of the exits have parking nearby either. The best place to park is in front.

Worst experience of my lifetime!!! The price was very inexpensive, but the room was not worth the money. The hotel is old and rundown. The room, linen on the bed, and pillows smelled of smoke. There were no towels or washclothes, and when I called to have some delivered, no one answered the phone. Hotels.com should be embarrased to offer this listing.

Their room key machine wasnt working so I never got a room key. I was escorted to my room. There were no towels or soap in my room. The carpet was so stained as were the walls. Thank goodness i checked in later and wasnt there that long.

If I would’ve had the chance I feel wholeheartedly they should give me my money back my room was disgusting. The bed was disgusting. The air was not working and everything I’m telling you in this review I told the front desk, nothing was done with it. They brought me clean sheets, the air. The handyman said he didn’t know what to tell us, and he went and brought us a fan and it was so hot. They would not even change the room!!! I ASKED IF HE OWNED THE PROPERTY HE RESPONDED \"YEA SO I DONT REALLY CARE IF YOU STAY OR GO\" THIS WAS INFURIATING!!! THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. MY ROOM HAD A SLIDING DOOR WITH NO LOCK THAT CAN BE ACCESSED FROM THE OUTSIDE!!! TONS OF MEN LINGERING AROUND DRUNK!! DO NOT STAY HERE I REPEAT DO NOT!!!!

The price was reasonable, but the halls was noisy, smelled and dirty.. The room was good and descent, there was no shower supplies, no hair dryer.. Sink had no hot water.. The beds had burn holds in blankets.. It was better then the last hotel we was at this one was at a reasonable price.. I ordered a king size they didn't have was trying to charge me more for 2 queen sizes..

I did not end up staying at that hotel, it was absolutely disgusting and management was piss poor and rude. It smelled like dog feces and urine when you entered the hallway and room. I could not put my health at risk at the residence. I am asking for a full refund if possible

Worse hotel ever
First off when I arrived the front desk clerk to busy on his phone watching TikTok then he looks at me and says what do I need. I booked two rooms and the second room that I looked at the room was not clean and the bathroom floors were muddy. So I went back and told them the room was not good and he told me to come back in an hour. So I did and the second room was even worse. Then my room had a broken fingernail on the floor. Then not only that I had to pay a 25-dollar deposit and they only accept cash only for a deposit which didn't make sense. Then as I got up the next morning I find that my car was towed away in the middle of the night so I was furiously angry. And I was 3 hours away from home. So I hope no one stays here. The place is run down so badly and the pics they have here on the site are false and not accurate at all. The hotel isn't called Economy Hotel Plus. It's called Canterbury Inn. And the photos are photoshopped to make them look good.

It was disgusting, filthy, bed bugs. It shouldn't be running as a hotel neither in the Expedia website. Pictures are deceiving nothing at all like the pictures. In the pictures it looks clean and decent especially for the price. But dont get fooled. I know now the price reflects the condition. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

Overall just a dirty hotel. Room was fairly clean, but towels and sheets were less than stellar in terms of cleanliness. Smelled laundered but stained.

When I arrived around 4:15 pm. Room was not ready. I have to wait for 10 minutes. Room is ok. Towels are not white. Weak Wi-Fi. Good smell.

Sheets were stained, cigarette burns in the sheets, holes in the curtains, no smoke detector put up and when confronted about it the front desk said they weren’t putting one in, scotch mark on the ceiling and water stains as well, room smelt like mold as well. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever been in and staff was very rude.

Worst hotel ever.
Filthy dirty. They never answer the phone. Manny broken items, doors, latches. Room was not cleaned after first night. Air conditioner was too small for the room. The bath towel was the size of a hand towel. The wash rag had yellow stains on it. The curtains were broken. Power outlets were difficult to access. The smell of marijuana was everywhere. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The parking lot pavement was terrible. Everything was dirty. Weeds everywhere. Worst hotel, if you can call it that, that I have ever stayed in. I tried to find another hotel but everything else was booked.

In a very bad part of town. If u want stuff stollen off ur truck or out of ur truck or just a broken window heres a place to go. Rooms stink, people there sucked, takes 40 min to get checked in even with a reservation, and the people that seem to live there has dogs that dont ever shut up. Beds covered in stains and cigarette holes.
