I rented 7 rooms for a family gathering. Paid 2,300 for 2 nights. Repeatedly asked for extra bedding for the fold out couches and was always told in the wash.
One room door wouldn’t lock when leaving. Did switch rooms but no discount and that door ended up doing the same thing.
No discount. One room was straightened and bed remade but door was left ajar.
The overhead light in our room was out . Was always told no maintenance on the weekend. Just frustrated all the way around!!

Everything was just average in our opinion. For the price we paid, you get what was expected. Front desk staff was great - easy check-in and helpful when needed. Breakfast was standard for hotels of this type. Bed was comfortable. Everything seemed to be clean but the property is showing some age. Area around the hotel was run-down; not the best part of town.

The hotel as a whole is in deteriorated condition. There was a huge bleach stain on the hallway carpet near our room. All along the hallway areas were scented wall plug-ins. Holiday Inn hasn’t kept the hotel clean and everything smells. Lights out in the hallways, including the area near the elevator on first level make the building look run down and unsafe. Even the main light in our room did not work and we had to go all the way into the room to turn on a light. The only available light was a lamp on the nightstand between the beds. The window curtain was torn and everything seemed damaged. Even the wall had large black marks. We were very disappointed. I would expect this if we were in a Motel 6 or an extended stay location, but not a $200 a night Holiday Inn. The bathroom had issues as well. Most of the water in the shower wasn’t diverted to the shower head when taking a shower. The majority of the water still came out of the spout even in shower mode. Which I tested operation several times and the diverter was not operating correctly. The toilet wobbled and wasn’t mounted properly. Not sure who is in charge of building maintenance, but they are dropping the ball and the building is in need of someone that can make the repairs. I would not recommend this location until these issues can be addressed.

Our family stayed in a double queen room. The room was much bigger than we had anticipated and was very clean! Both of these were major pluses! There was plenty of seating at the breakfast area. They had plenty of options for food. The outside of the hotel does look a little rundown, but is in much better shape than the other ones surrounding it. The rock beds surrounding the entrance were covered in cigarette butts. The area also smells like gas. When I asked the front desk attendant about the smell she said it was from their dryers. The foyer and 4th floor hallway both had a bad odor, but thankfully it didn’t carry into our room. The pool area smelled strongly of chlorine, urine, and cleaner. They had no towels available and when we asked at the front desk we were told to come back in a little bit and they would have some bath towels waiting for us up there. The staff was underwhelming. Not a single member greeted us when walking in, no one asked how our stay was going, and when we went to turn in room keys the front attendant didn’t say a single word. No thanks for your stay or have a good day. There was a chance of bad weather when we were checking in. I asked if they had a tornado shelter or somewhere they advise guests to go. The front attendant said she didn’t know. I asked if our room was close to a stairway since we were on the 4th floor. Again she said she didn’t know. They all seemed like they hated their job and that customers were an inconvenience.

We stayed here twice in a week on our way to and from Oklahoma from Minnesota. Both times it was a great value in price, really nice room, and very good breakfasts. On our return trip we had a room with a nonworking TV and Cameron was such a great help. He moved us to another room just like we had - it was a suite - and then went up and made sure the TV worked before we moved our things to the new room. He then brought us the key to the new room which was just a couple doors down. He was very helpful. Love the breakfast choices, a definite step up from others.

We had to change rooms 3 times when we first got there. We checked in at 3:30 and our room nor any of the kings were clean and ready. They switched us to another room, but the tv was not working. They then again switched us to another room where the tv was working but we only had the weather channel on it. They did say they were having trouble with their tv's. We paid good monies to stay here but was very disappointed with the tv situation. There was nothing offered to us to for not having any tv. It would have been nice if they had at least given a small discount or even offered something to make up for it. We did notice that their cleaning staff was standing around talking and laughing instead of trying to get the rooms cleaned and readied for the guests. It's like they were trying to rack up overtime.

The gym had what I need to have a good workout equipped with free weights, workout machine and stationary bike. My kids enjoyed the pool and it is big enough it held over a dozen kids. I keep my breakfast simple and the breakfast in the morning was more than generous for me. What really topped breakfast for me besides the self made coffee machine is the snap of a cooked sausage link when one bites into it.

Arrived well after the 3pm check in time only to find out our room was not ready yet and they did not have a timeframe of when it would be ready. Took at least 30 mins to even get to check in because the front desk clerk was outside on her phone taking a personal phone call then proceeded to come inside and continue her personal phone call and not help anyone. I was not even acknowledged that I was there or was even told they would be with me when they could. They just completely ignored me. Room was clean for the most part, the bath tub had some dirt residue leftover. I have never had issues at a holiday inn, but the initial experience is making me second guess finding my go to hotel for stays.

Grass and plants were not manicured. The carpet in the hall was stained HORRIBLY and ripped in areas. Safety hazard. The toilet flushing mechanism wasn’t working so the toilet didn’t flush. The lamp bulb was burned out on one nightstand. The sink was missing the drain plug. The tub had a huge stain with rust about 7” in diameter. Just not a place I would go back to.

We arrived after midnight so we were tired from travel. Our room had no tv. It had been unbolted and removed. Only half of the light fixtures in the bathroom were there. They were missing parts and were just bulbs hanging from the wall. There was only one black out shade on the window so the parking lot light shown into the room all night and could not be blocked out. There were no drawers in the dresser. Just draw fronts that were screwed to the side panels and they swung like gates. All four of them. The shower faucet was missing the cold/hot indicator and the screws to secure it to the wall. The TP fixture was missing both axles do the TP rolls we’re setting on the floor. This room should not have been rented. It was like it was being used for spare parts. We were too tired to complain so we just dealt with it. Not worth $111. We would like a refund on part of the fees.
