The television did not function during my entire two day stay, even though I reported the problem to the desk clerk minutes after I arrived. Several of the electrical outlets in the room were not properly attached to the wall and were not functional. The outside door closest to my room could not be opened with my room key so I was required to walk the entire length of the hotel each time I entered. The clerk told me the locks didn't work because they were battery powered and they couldn't keep batteries in them. I suspect the owners were too cheap to replace the batteries when required.

I booked for 2 nights, my son and I were only in the hotel for 7 minutes before we handed back our keys and checked out. Didn’t even ask for a refund, just had to get out of there. It was dirty from top to bottom. The carpet leading to the rooms hand standing dirty and debris piled up, walls and doors were gross. Opened our door and didn’t even want to touch the light switch with a batter hand, as it had visible gunk on it. Walks and floors were dirty. Water damage by thin, things run down and damaged. It was immediately apparent why they don’t charge an incidental fee, as there is literally nothing you could do to make the room worse that it already was. In fact a match would improve it tremendously. I was honestly shocked that hotels.com even had a place this bad on their site. Very disappointed.

When I walked in the places smelled extremely bad. When I went to my room there was water on the floor I thought they had just mopped the floor but come to find out the toilet was leaking bad. The fridge and the microwave had gunk in them. The shower was also leaking from the back of the hook up from the wall. The room also smells. I will not stay at this hotel again until they do some major improvements of this hotel.

This was probably the worst mistake of my trip. I had originally booked a week here. Another review said it was good for solo travelers like myself. This was absolutely not the case for me. I arrived at midnight. Checked in. I was too tired to leave right then but I prob should’ve and would’ve possibly gotten some sleep. The walls are thin. The floors are old. The place itself is just dirty and outdated. It just gives the feeling that I might take bedbugs home with me. As a solo female there for a school trip, I did not feel safe. There are people constantly walking up and down the hallways. I could hear my neighbor rustling and moving around. The door itself doesn’t seem very secure. The peephole was weird and I was concerned someone would come through the connecting room doors. It was just a terrible experience. I was on high alert and didn’t sleep a wink. I checked out first thing in the morning and it was probably the best decision.

We killed a brown recluse spider in the bathroom. They only had 3 towels in the room and no face towels. Had to ask each day I was there for more towels. The bathroom was dirty and had dirty all in the corners. Breakfast was cereal and hard biscuits with sausage. Pancake machine was out of order. Sign advertises best breakfast, but thats a lie!

Also the door could be pushed unless. The hinge was broken on it and when mentioned to on duty staff, he said we would need to wait til the morning when the manger arrived.

Staff was friendly, the location itself is super sketchy. The room was in poor state, the smoke detector wasn't even tied into the electrical system & didnt work. The walls had holes in them, the sink leaked, the AC didnt work for a damn, and the beds were on some kind of metal box that made loud bang/popping sounds with every movement. The mattress was more like a bag of bricks & you could hear the hoard of people coming in & out all night long (probably attributed to the ghetto ass strip club across the parking lot and what I assume was a drug/hooker trading post posted up in the parking lot on camping chairs). The room was also not cleaned very well. The mirror had spots all over it, the tile was sticky, the bedding had white crusty biohazards all over it, and what looked like dried blood running down the wall in the bathroom. Definitely not a family friendly location... let's just say I kept my gun on me at all times, didnt go outside alone & wished I had packed a hazmat suit to sleep in. A small continental breakfast was available but I only opted for a cup of OJ & coffee.... The OJ was brown when it came out.... a binge drinking kidney failure piss kind of brown.... The coffee was more like something you could use to desolve a dead body or strip lead paint with. They also asked for my services dogs certifications when checking in... which is against the ADA laws. When I explained that I wasn't required to produce them I was argued with a little.

The rooms are small but clean. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. I had to ask for new batteries for the TV for the remote to the TV, and they apologized for the inconvenience which it wasn't, at least not for me. The front of house staff are helpful and cheerful no issues there. Biggest issue, smokers outside were close to the AC units while on and certain hallways reeked of urine or foul water. I kept my AC to help cool my room while I was out during the day and came back to a foul smell in my room; foul smell of urine with no idea where it was coming from. From my perspective, this could have been the result of recent clientele that had used the hotel, but trying to sleep with a foul smell emanating from your ac is definitely less than ideal.

The air conditioner in the room blue air, but it wasn’t cool. I tried to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work. I walked to the front desk and told the young men on staff and they had a very sarcastic. I don’t care attitude. At Continental breakfast in the morning I found it was very sparse and not what they advertised. Another person in there said their air-conditioning wasn’t working either while another said they were there because they saw waffles advertised on their continental breakfast. There were dry biscuits, but no gravy or jam. The coffee was cold and you could choose dry cereal, or oatmeal. I didn’t try the milk.

Our tub was coming apart on the bottom. There was blood on the walls in the bathroom. We also had ants coming in the window. They tried blaming us saying we had brought them. Until i had them come in to see for themselves that the wall had a hole and that’s how they had come in. Never staying again.

Sketchy. If it weren’t so much trouble to find a number for hotels.com to cancel the reservation, we would have left.
The tub drain was clogged with hair. The gal at the desk at checkout said they would take care of it, that they have an industrial type hair remover. You’d think that while cleaning the tub that they’d notice it was draining slowly and do it then, not wait for someone to complain, or perhaps actually look and see the hair in the drain, yes, there was that much.
The night clerk when we checked in was very nice and sympathetic to my hesitancy about staying there.

Wyndham used to mean something….

We were supposed to have 1 king size bed, and I requested that the room be wheelchair accessible and on the ground floor, they had our room on the 2 ND floor, but changed us to a room on the ground floor with 2 queen sized beds, the beds sit roughly 30 inches off the floor, and the floor was slippery, especially in socked feet, so much so that my disabled husband tried to get out of bed, to go use the bathroom, and when he put his feet on the floor, they slid, and he fell down on the floor, I had to call 911, to have someone come pick him up off the floor. Then we were expecting a bathtub, but instead the room had a \"handicap\" shower, with a built in seat, which would of been great, except shower had absolutely no water pressure, and with the water turned on as much as it could go, did not even come close to reaching the built in seat, and there was no hand held sprayer; the TV had black vertical lines appear, after is was on for about 10 minutes, they stayed on the TV, even after changing the channel several times, made it hard to watch anything. We checked out at 11am, but still have not received the $50 deposit back, or received a receipt letting us know that the hold, for $116.64, had been changed to the actual price of the room, which was supposed to be $66.64. All in all, I think our overnight stay, was a total waste of money, and we were both extremely disappointed.

Booked this room for a family member. He was woken up by a strange female knocking on the door of his room and waking him up at 1:30 am. Wrong room she knocked at. Place smelled horribly of weed. He never got the wake up call he had requested. Won't be staying there again. Nice staff though and good shuttle ride. Good price but not worth the inconveniences.

The room was hot. Could not get the air on. They had it set to where the family come on and go off. There were construction workers out in the hallway on the phone talking loudly. I did not finally get to go to bed until well after midnight because of them breakfast was a joke. Hard biscuits couldn’t even microwave them to soften up. I went to breakfast between 745 and 8 o’clock and the sausage there was only three slices left and there was a family in front of me so they got that I didn’t want to take it because they had kids the milk for the cereal smelt spoiled the mother of the family in front of me. She went and asked for fresh milk. I don’t know if she got it or not. I left so for what I paid I was not satisfied if I had booked through the motel I would ask them for my money back will I stay there again honestly, I can’t say yes or no. It depends on where I need to be at at the of Wichita and that was what I picked the Super Eight and I never had a problem with Super Eight breakfast but this time there was a problem if I could get a refund on that room, I would gladly take it

Breakfast was pretty much non-existent. Rooms are rough. A lot of patch jobs. All the shower drain has bad rust and the sealant in the showers were turning different colors. Room were musty smelling from the old AC units. One night I needed a couple extra shower towels and was told no, they didn’t have any. Probably won’t stay here again. Spend the little bit of extra money and you can stay at much nicer.

No low lights. All bright ceiling fixtures. We bought a small desk lamp for the evenings.
Tv had a blue screen on all night. No way to shut it off. Enter door didn’t fit, was too narrow. Hall light showed in every night. Parts of room looked patched together. Only good thing was the price. We were out during the days exploring so just evening time was tolerable.

Neighbor above was constantly tapping something on the floor. This room definitely needed some upkeep. Likely will not stay here again due to condition of room. Oh, what a night of dashed expectations! I had reserved a majestic king-size bed, envisioning a night of comfort and togetherness with my husband. But alas! Upon arrival, fate dealt us two meager queens. Forced into separate beds, we spent the night apart—a tragedy worthy of Shakespeare!

My poor husband lamented his bed’s unyielding firmness, while I found solace in the comfort of mine, stationed near the humming, chilly embrace of the window A/C. The room itself, though aged and bearing the marks of time, was surprisingly decent—a silver lining in this tale of woe.

Yet, not all was lost! The hotel clerk, a beacon of kindness amidst the storm, greeted us warmly. Still, the sting of separation lingered. This was not the romantic retreat I had imagined!

The manager was very nice. The night shift lady had like a bad attitude. Breakfast was very very poor. Our room smelled very dirty. Like the mop had been sitting in the wqter for days and then used it in the room. The floor wqs very dirty. Overall it was poor. But the price said it all. Also it does not deserve to have the name by windham. But anyways. Its a place to sleep. Not to live in. Sorry about my comment but its the truth. Thank you
