If I could leave no stars, I would!! Our room has the pieces of the ceiling falling off, the trim is the room was off & laying on the floor. The hallway had holes in the wall. Carpet horribly stained. Not to mention limited parking! The place is crawling with homeless people. Not a safe, clean place to stay with families!! CAUTION! We checked in, went to eat then two hours later came back, saw how horrible it was then immediately checked out. They would NOT refund us for the two hours we were checked in. They did refund the next two nights, so that was appreciated. I would NOT recommend this place to anybody.

We'd gone out for the evening, returning around 11pm. No parking available in the W parking lot. West entrance was blocked by a man on his bicycle so we didn't feel comportable using our key card. We walked around to the front door & it was locked, luckily another patron let us in. Ice machine our floor said out of order. I checked 2 other floors, so thinking 4th floor had ice, I tried to get some. Didn't work but no Out of order sign on machine. Front desk said 2nd floor & information was on elevator. It was a scan code which I do NOT do. Get written signs already! Headboard was wallpaper and pretty notched up, something white (toothpaste/cleanser) was on the side of the sink faucet???, no drinking glasses but coffee cups (we used but not for coffee). Breakfast area needs a pitcher of ice water. Just coffee & juice to drink. Scrambled eggs & sausage patties were fine. Wish there had been muffins or something sweet too. Almost forgot, the W entrance has a lot of bird droppings on the cement near the door-grose-hose it off or at least sweep it frequently

Stayed 3 nights for a baseball tournament with 4 other families. Room was clean... Hotel was not! Rips in carpet, tons of pigeon poop outside the door and on the windows that most guests use, ceilings falling down in some areas, window ledges disgusting, etc. I wanted to leave right away, but did not have money to go elsewhere. A lot of foot traffic around the hotel. Tons of homeless individuals sneaking into the hotel or sleeping right outside the back door. There was a stabbing at the gas station across the road and multiple car accidents right in front of the hotel. People would walk up to you and ask for money or other items as you were trying to walk to your car. One manager on duty did nothing but run the homeless people out of the hotel throughout the day on Saturday. Would not recommend for families or single women. I really expected more from a Wyndham hotel.

The pool was nice. The room AC was not working well. The “full” breakfast was sausage, eggs (they only sat at once and was gone by 8 am),and waffles. The family suite was spacious but only had 2 towels. There was no towels at the pool. The ice machine only worked on floors 2 and 7. We needed to leave a day early and their cancellation policy is strict so if you want to leave early because of the AC, you just have to eat the cost.

I pulled the sheet to see what it was and I heard the crust crack from the boogers . We stayed five minutes and checked out and they REFUSED to return our money . There was also trash covering the hallway all the way down to the room . 3 people were cancelling their stays as we were leaving as well 0/10

The staff was amazing!! I tried to be positive about this review, but the truth is, the building is in need of a lot, and I mean A LOT, of repairs. The beds were comfy, just don't look at the mattresses. We booked a double, but because of 'something', there weren't any available. So they upgraded us to a suite. There were leftovers from the previous tenants in the refrigerator. But it's a big refrigerator!! The AC unit screamed all night long, but it kept the room a great temperature. The ceilings we were peeling chunks in the bathrooms, but the shower water was hot. The breakfast was mediocre at best, but there was a hot breakfast. I loved this place the last we stayed, but it is in dire need of some repairs.

House keeping came to our room and tried to tell us the spots we saw were bleach spots and they were clean. Bleach spots are not black. The walls were dirty. Just because the room is sprayed with deodorizer does not make it clean. We also told them our door would not dead bolt. We were 2 women traveling with a 10 week old baby. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this hotel was disappointing enough that I feel other travelers should know what to expect. From the moment we walked into the room, there was a strong unpleasant odor that immediately made us uncomfortable. The room smelled stale, dirty, and as if it had not been properly cleaned in quite some time.

As we looked around, it became clear that cleanliness was a major issue. There was food smeared on the doors and visible dirt and grime throughout the room. The condition of the room made it feel as though housekeeping had either rushed through the cleaning process or skipped important steps altogether.

The bedding was one of the most concerning parts of our stay. The sheets appeared dirty and did not look freshly changed. Finding stains and signs of previous use on bedding is unacceptable in any hotel, and it left us questioning the overall sanitation of the room. It’s difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep when you don’t feel confident that the room has been properly cleaned.

Throughout our stay, the lack of attention to detail was noticeable. A hotel should provide guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment, but unfortunately this property failed to meet even basic expectations. The unpleasant smell, dirty sheets, food residue on surfaces, and overall condition of the room made what should have been a relaxing stay.
We ended up leaving and going to another hotel without a refund.

This hotel's website photos are a bit deceiving. Also, \"downtown Wichita\" is a hilarious descriptor as there was nothing there but homeless people and Spangles. I did not feel entirely comfortable with my car in the lot. The hotel is definitely in need of some basic upkeep. I didn't have any interactions with staff other than to check in which was fine, there were no problems there. It was well below average in terms of cleanliness and property maintenance. There was a bad smell as soon as I walked in the front door and it stayed there throughout the entire hotel throughout my stay. The caulking in the elevator and in my room was mouldy and the surfaces in the elevator looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The swimming pool was empty except for the bottom which had accumulated a considerable amount of water which was green and slimy with algae. This was entirely visible from the common area on the first floor and, I imagine, from all rooms facing that direction. Finally, the little complementary bottles of lotion, shampoo, and conditioner had already been used by a previous guest and were half empty when I got there. Sorry for the negative review but, unfortunately, it accurately describes my experience.

Let's be honest, the rooms are very small, the single sink for the bathroom was in the bedroom and the toilet & tub/shower was enclosed in a separate room with a door. If you just need a place to lay you head, then the price was fitting. Oh, and don't forget they do NOT have double queen beds-they are double full beds-MUCH SMALLER!!! So, if you want room to walk or sit in a chair the room or privacy, then this is not the place for you.

From the outside it looks like it had fresh paint. Once you come inside you see it needs updated. Our room had cracks in ceiling, rust, and overall run down.

Breakfast was minimal-make your own waffles, eggs, sausage patty, bread. That is it.

Saturday night, there was NO HOT WATER! We had 3 rooms and everyone had the same complaint.

We will be looking for other options in Wichita the next time we stay.

They will give away your room. I showed up last night for my reservation which had already been charged to my credit card. The man behind the desk said \"sorry, you didn't show up by 1am and it's 1:20am so we rebooked your rooms already\". Mind you, I have my elderly father in a wheelchair behind me because we are driving cross country to move him to a new assisted living facility. I did not get a phone call or an email warning me about losing the reservation and none of the fine print while booking mentioned anything about a 1am deadline. I was told there was nothing he could do and I would have to leave. Since it is the weekend of Wichita River fest, literally every single other hotel was fully booked. We had to get back in the car and drive another 2.5 hours to find a hotel with vacancy.

I can't believe the lack of care or compassion for a family showing up WITH A RESERVATION and being sent away. I've never experienced something like this.

The hotel property and building was your average hotel, nothing fancy. The pool was not open yet. The property and building were clean. The room was aged. It was clean but I woke up to 2 bedbugs. I tore the bed apart to see how bad the infestation was but did not find any more. No one was at the desk so I was not able to tell anyone.

The toilet plugged, had to stand in a lake of water while taking a shower slow drain. The pillows had a funky smell to them. Rotten trim (with mold)around the heater/air conditioner.room in need of remodeling, for goodness sake at least slap a coat of paint!! You get the vibe that the people running it have no interest in fixing anything , because im sure its the way they live and that is acceptable to them.it was convenient close by the intrust arena, which should give them the motivation to fix it up and get return customers. They probably only want the people just passing by. Didnt want to eat the breakfast, after seeing how dirty things were there.
