Booked my hotel on Wednesday July 1st, arrived at the hotel to check in on Tuesday on July 7th around 5:00 PM, to find out my reservation was cancelled and the hotel was over booked.
Edna
The rooms were great the only thing is when we would ask for towels in the evening we never got any so in the morning we asked again still nothing so my husband had to chase people down for towels so I can take a shower. We were also charged $87 for food we didn’t even order. Staff was nice will stay again We enjoyed our vacation there.

Oralia
great location over looking the river!
Daniel
Our room was clean except the floor, it was covered in dirt spots and the toilet kept gurgling and spitting out water. The hot tube jets were broken but the pool was nice.
Timothy
This is the place to stay in Wichita. Clean, secure and the staff is friendly and provide excellent service.
Brian J

We were in town for State track and unfortunately, the River Walk was also being held. We drove around for over 30 minutes trying to get to the hotel since all the roads were blocked off and detours were a circle. Then trying to park in the garage was a challenge due to backed up traffic. Upon check-in, which was after 9, part of the restaurant was closed, which made the dining area a little crowded, but everyone was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. However, we were not told that the room key is how to get out of the parking garage and the next morning trying to leave multiple people were stranded in the garage due to already checking out and keys were de-activated. Most issues were not directly the hotel issue, other than parking. However, communication about the closed roads to the hotel would have been appreciated.
Robert

BED BUGS ROOM 603.
If I could give zero stars I would!
I stayed at this hotel with my son for a football camp on Saturday April 18th. The hotel was nice until I woke up to something biting my arm. We had to move rooms at around 1 am when my son should have been getting some restful sleep. This was very inconvenient and I felt like my skin was crawling the rest of the night. While being moved to another room I was told they were unable to give a refund or discount to me because I booked through Expedia. I was not asking for one to begin with but I thought it was very nice that she was telling me that. It made me feel better about the experience, knowing they would be making it right. She did refund my parking fee. Once I came back home I inquired with Expedia and have inquired multiple times being told that someone from the hotel will call me to get more information, etc. I'm so sick of it. Expedia has been great, they have tried to contact the manager several times on my behalf and has even given me a small amount of onekey cash for the incontinence. But for months this hotel has given me the run around when all I'm asking is for them to follow through on their word. I'm very disappointed in this Hyatt and will never stay with Hyatt again. I do not recommend staying here because they lied about a discount or refund for my inconvenience. Plus bed bugs are hard to get rid of, no one needs to be taking these home. There are plenty of hotels in Wichita. DO NOT STAY HERE.

No problems what so ever. Bar food was not very good
Laurie
Great stay but had a room that had an adjoining room that was locked but the person in the other room was trying to get into our room and that was unsettling.
Stephen
yes
Paul
Everything was clean and very quiet
Julie
Beautiful facility. Had a poor cleanliness issue particularly for pricepoint
Justin
Beautiful hotel and great room! However the bathroom was not the cleanest and by that I mean, long black hair all over the bathroom floor. Called and let the front desk staff know about it and stated it would be taken care of. Went out around 3pm got back to the room at 10pm, so ample time. While some of the hair was picked up a surprisingly amount was still there! Finally took a washcloth and cleaned it up myself. Body wash dispenser was empty and the. They “cleaned” they took the only bar of soap and don’t replace it.
Jennifer
Hotel was clean abd very nice. We ate at the restaurant downstairs for breakfast. It was $20 a person for a very good breakfast buffet. Kids loved the pool. We would definitely stay here again.
Chrissy
Clean room. Overall good stay.
Holli

Valerie
Clean room, nice accommodations
James
Very nice stay. Breakfast and parking add-on is a great value and staff was very respectful. Food and drink options are excellent.
Shawn
I was told that the staff was notified about it being our anniversary and I was Messaged the Hyatt Regency and was told they have alerted the team and will do everything thing we can to help you celebrate your special day. They didn’t do anything for our anniversary. They didn’t even contact me to offer suggestions of what they could do. I am also disappointed in the room we found hair on the floor and shower. The widows to the room needed washed.
Brandon
We didn’t have hot water, but everything else was good and we love the restaurant.
Carlos
I didn’t try the breakfast or bar
Timothy
The Hyatt gets better every time we stay there. The location is great, the property is super clean and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Exception breakfast!!! The staff was nice and helpful. The room needed a bit more cleaning on the floor. Hit tub was being cleaned and was cold. Pool was slightly heated could be warmer
Lana
Everything was lovely and the staff helped me when needed but gave me my personal space which I like.
Shalisha L
Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Common areas clean and well maintained. Food and bar were good and nice bartender. Had some issues with water temperature inconsistency in the shower and lost all water temporarily one night but it was during a storm. Overall a pleasant stay.
Kimberly
I recently stayed at Hyatt Hotels in Wichita, KS and had a mixed experience. The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated.
However, there were a few issues that impacted my stay. The bed linens were uncomfortable—thin and cold rather than warm and cozy. The lighting in the room was also poor, with one light not working at all, leaving me relying on the TV backlight just to see. The clock in the room was set an hour behind, which was inconvenient.
Additionally, the rooms don’t seem to have much soundproofing. I could clearly hear noise from the neighboring room, including bathroom use, which made it difficult to fully relax.
Overall, while the cleanliness and customer service were great, improvements to room comfort, lighting, and noise control would make a big difference.

The pool door wasn’t operating well so we kept getting locked in the pool area, then yelled at when we propped it open so we could get out. Also, the ice machines were out of service on multiple floors. They also ran out of towels and didn’t have any for awhile at the pool (this happened both days we were there). But overall the hotel was VERY clean, was right next to a river and had some outside seating which was nice. When they refreshed our room in between nights staying, they organized my daughters stuffies on the bed and left a nice note. It made her smile. The hotel is close to a business district that was pretty neat and had an “old market” feel. Overall I’d recommend staying here, just had some issues with some of the amenities.
Ann
Didn’t use either @ the hotel. Family gathered for meals.
Anthony
Nice place and conveniently located in the city
Robert
NOT PET FRIENDLY, parking is distant, no microwave in room, constantly waiting for elevator, dirty bathroom (dust and hair) VERY NOISY (door latches bang loudy and echo). This hotel is for upscale, single, business people although location would be perfect for more family events if it didnt feel like a prison.
Antonio
Clean room. Beautiful property. Close to everything in Wichita.
Bonnie
The ice machine didn’t have ice.
Tge microwave is next to the vending & ice machine, not in the room

We have stayed here several times. Always clean, friendly staff, best valet parking and close to everything we need! Nice indoor pool and hot tub and the coffee bar is excellent. We will be back!

Room was good.
Staff was good.
Sweetheart 4 course meal was advertised to last until 10pm but ran out of food at 8pm so we didn't get to have that and had but to get the main menu.

Chrissy
Clean room.
Craig
Modern and clean rooms, great view of the river, friendly staff, large lobby with spaces to sit , restaurant & bar food was great. Covered parking in a structure. I would stay here every time I visited Wichita.
Jason
Breakfast buffet was absolutely terrible
Diane
Staff were all very friendly.
Heather
Rooms were comfortable and clean. The lobby area has the same scent we diffuse at home so that was welcoming! Only con: The night lights on the sides of the bed were too bright and we had to block the light with bags. Front desk provided us everything we needed to be more comfortable like a fan, extra pillows and blankets. Service and food at the restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner. Bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly.
Enjoli
The hot tub seemed as though there was a private party all night long preventing us from using it. Management did nothing to appease this. Very disappointed.
Kimberley
An extremely welcoming and friendly staff. Accomodations were clean, quiet with spacious rooms. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the fitness room. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling through Wichita. Stayed for 5 nights with my spouse. Go Thunder Go!!

We haven’t had breakfast yet
Daniel
Always love staying here but this time around we didn’t have any hot water for our stay so showering with barely warm water was a pain
Michael
Did not have hot water for two days in all four rooms that our group booked.
Steve
Enjoyed the stay.
Brittany
Josh checked us in when we first arrived. He was incredibly rude and dismissive. He then looked my partner and I up and down and asked if we wanted a room with two beds instead of the room we booked with One. We were terribly offended. do you ask all of your guests who come as same-sex couples if they want two beds or one? It was not the highlight of our trip. When we got to our room, you could clearly see that by the couch had not been swept. There was dirt and crumbs of some sort on the floor. We were too tired to make a complaint.
The best part of our trip was breakfast Marci was amazing! She was kind and attentive and the nicest person we met the entire time we were there thank you Marci for giving us a beautiful morning. We loved your smile!

The hotel is NICE! 2 complaints though - beds are hard. I’d compare it sleeping on a foam mat on top of a sheet of plywood. Did not get the rest I was hoping for because of this. Second thing - the walls are thin. Could hear people talking, in what sounded like the hallway, could’ve been the rooms around us. Either way, that went on throughout the night as well.
Christina
Excellent as always. Great location
Louis
Staff was very helpful and pool area was great
Greg
My toilet had not been flushed when I opened my room. Reception staff were awesome. 10/10. The banquet people were terrible and very unprofessional. They couldn’t wait for us to get out. Breakfast was terrible and had no taste. Pathetic. Beautiful new rooms. Very comfy.
Christina
Staff at front desk rarely smile acting like they do not want to be there. Room was not ready until evening. Light in “foyer” of the room turns on and off at random times. Pillows are so soft that your head hits the mattress. Otherwise, bed was comfortable. Room temperature was easy to manage, room and bathroom were clean. The area where you can buy snacks closes early so you’ll need to have stuff delivered or go out to get it. It is a hike from the parking garage to rooms and the parking
garage is $15 per night.
garage is $15 per night.

We hadn't stayed in this hotel in over a decade. The food and service was terrific for dinner and breakfast. We will definitely be returning. We met the head of Food and Beverage. He is an impressive man and we really confident he will continue to make positive changes to attract more customers back.
Gregory
Great weekend option close to everything!
