This is a great place to stay! We were right across from the ballpark, unfortunately no time to go to a game! Stayed with friends and enjoyed separate living area and bedrooms. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, wish we could have stayed longer!

I think the biggest thing for us was having the 2 bedroom suite. It worked out perfect and so close to where we needed to be.

The hotel was what we needed. It was clean and mostly updated. We travel with our young kids so the benefit of two rooms for the price of a normal hotel is worth it. It’s pretty bare bones in terms of amenities but that was okay with us. My only complaint was the TVs were out of date and hard to use. Smart tvs would be nice but not a huge deal.

It’s close to downtown and was great to get to where we needed to in order to visit family and activities. Walked to the fireworks show, which was a plus.

The space of the room was excellent, we really liked the kitchen, since we like to make our food. The reception and the staff were very polite and friendly. We have already stayed in hotels with more expensive daily rates and I can say that our experience this weekend was our best. We stayed only 1 day but we liked it much more than, for example, Holiday Inn or Marriott.

The units are small but still convenient to have 2 bedrooms with their own bathroom and with the living room in between to aid in privacy. This location has traffic noise that could bother people who are sensitive to that.
Overall, nice and decent rate for 2 bdrm / 2 bath.

This place is so awesome! Has everything you could ever need and the staff are amazing! I have so much respect for the Manager Kristine (I think that’s her name, I’m bad with names) that woman works her butt off and has an amazing ability to be accommodating and stern when she has to be all while maintaining professionalism. She’s amazing! I haven’t met a single staff member who wasn’t amazing! So friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to make every guest feel welcome and to meet their individual needs!
Come stay at waterwalk! You won’t be disappointed!

They were so unorganized and unfriendly. We rented a room for our daughter who was in town visiting, we had to fight with them because we were locals they didnt want to rent to us, so when I said fine, just give me my money back (because I had prepaid thru Hotels.com) they changed their tune. They didn't want to refund anything to us. Then when we checked out they charged us an extra $250 because they said we smoked in the room. They were unfriendly and unprofessional and I will NEVER stay at another Wyndham.

Ok stay

This is an apartment complex with a few units for rent as hotel rooms. Room was spacious enough. I recommend bringing your own toilet paper as the kind they have is thin and rough. Also bring a bar of soap because they will have one bar per bathroom. Mattresses need to be replaced.
Convenient location to downtown.

This property served our purpose. The two bedroom suite allowed us to stay with my elderly parents in one suite. The rooms are bare…not one picture on the walls anywhere. A few of the curtains had holes in them. It had the basics we needed for a two night stay (after they brought us a missing hair dryer). We didn’t really use the kitchen to do much more than make coffee so I can’t speak to how well it was equipped. Staff was friendly, but not always around. Convenient location to walk to a Wichita Wind Surge game. Since units have kitchens there is no other on site food. Elevator was down (luckily only once) but my elderly mother had to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to our room. Our bathroom light had a flaky sensor on it that made it go on and off on its own.

Staff real friendly. The room was relatively clean with a minor exception in bathtub. I was given a disability access room, I did not like the shower. The temperature of water would not allow me to select a higher (hotter) temp for water and the water pressure was awful in the shower. I surmise because it was designed for limited mobility folks.

We stayed here as we wanted something with two rooms. Front desk was friendly and easy check in. Bed sheets and towels were soft. The property is dated. It was gloomy inside our room. If you forget something you have to go down and pay for it/no free toothbrushes, etc. As soon as you walk into the hotel you have a very strong smell of cooking spices. Thankfully we did not smell it in our room. I would not feel comfortable walking to my hotel at night. This is not a 4 or 5 rated stay in our opinion, but a 3.

Smoke in a nonsmoking facility.

The room was suppose to be non smoking as is the faculty but when we came back first night our room reeked of smoke. The place was full so they couldn’t move us. Be aware that there are many permanent residents in this hotel and there are lots of pets and people smoking. Also our door jam had been jimmied previously and was broken. Not very safe !
