Beach is amazing right in doorstep great sea views. I have stayed at this hotel more than 10 times this year I love it pool, sauna ,steam and gym free for guests even free parking . Staff are friendly apart from one of the leisure staff see if u can guest which one

The room was nice and big, with 2 good size TV's.
The lighting was very poor in the room. The bathroom was spacious with an excellent shower. The bed was very comfortable. 2 good sized Seaview windows, both of which needed a good clean.

There was no one on reception so I had to do a loud cough to get someone’s attention and felt as if I’d inconvenienced the woman and got her off her chair! I asked about dinner to which she replied the restaurant was closed but there was bar food. She failed to say that it shut in 20mins so when we got there, there was no food available! We ended up having a bag of crisps for dinner!

Lovely hotel. Room very spacious and clean. Incredibly comfy bed. My daughter and I really enjoyed the pool. Only thing that let the visit down was the room was very cold and a draft was coming from the window. Carpark was also like an ice rink, could have done with better gritting.

Save your money for a nicer hotel next door I won't be booking here in the future.

Check in staff really nice, pool staff evening and morning different people and both more like door bouncers than customer service providers. If they don't want kids in the pool being kids don't let kids in at all, but don't spend the time shouting and making issues for them.
Rooms in the new part of the hotel were the thinest walls of any hotel ever stayed in. Loud music being played on 1 side from 530am and on the other what can only have been the other half of the party. Add the circus in town and the bus stop under the window made for 2 hours sleep all night, for an 8 year old and their dad. Bed sheet also had rip in it exposing the mattress so lay on top. Bad time had all round. Hotel main areas nice though and plenty of parking

We used the hotel as a base whilst having to unfortunately arrange and attend a funeral. We opted for a larger room to enable my partner to also work whilst we were there.The desk in the room was broken and the chair was ripped and shabby. We were informed that housekeeping would not be attending during our stay unless we requested it. Fair enough. However housekeeping interrupted my partner whilst working more than once and when I turned them away, they insisted I gave them a time that was convenient that morning. I explained that he was `working via teams but the housekeeper seemed annoyed by this. On another occasion, housekeeping entered our room when we weren't there and left a passive aggressive note stating they could not service the room as there were personal belongings (coats) on the bed. Towels and bedding were left dumped on the sofa and dirty bedding that did not belong to us was crumpled on the bed. No surfaces had been wiped or the room vacuumed. The hotel was noisy and at one point the manager had to remove some guests who were arguing and fighting in their room and the corridor. The entrance to the hotel was littered with cigarette ends and ash even though there was a designated smoking area. Guest were congregating there from the bar to smoke. All in all, if you want a relaxing peaceful stay, I wouldn't bother!

Not enough towels or pillows in room to start, bathroom could be refreshed but a decent size, shower had to be stepped up into & wasn’t very big. Bed was comfortable. We were in 133 & it was a trek to get to it. Looked out to the car park at back & got to listen to the garbage & bottles being dumped. Found a spider on my towel this morning.

Hotel Staff were Very Nice. Parking/ Car Park is accessible. The bedroom was nice but maybe on the smaller side. The bed had a few back marks on the sheets.
One downside to being next to the sea is that you can hear the seagulls all night but this isn’t the hotels fault. No coffee or Tea in the room.

This hotel is NOT air-conditioned. That’s not what you want during a heatwave at a time when English weather is getting hotter! I feel sorry for the staff who had to work in this terrible heat. We had a room that was above the hotel ventilation system. The windows were glazed and had a pull over window too. However the hotel has no in room air conditioning.

When it’s extremely hot outside and extremely hot inside we needed to open the windows, this was horrible to sleep through!

Even with the windows shut and just the fan on during our second night, you can still hear the noise.

The room did have a very small and noisy desk fan.

NEVER AGAIN! Myself and my husband have both said we’d rather spend £60 extra per night than ever have to endure that noise again.

We did tell the staff but they just said sorry but there wasn’t anything they could do.

Cheap, but not good value

On arriving, the car parking spaces are limited and very very small, barely able to get out your door when parked. When you go from your room to the car park, the lift is not accessible to use, you have to go all the way back to reception area, to get back to your room.
Finding the room was a nightmare, poorly signposted and over various levels and corridors.
Room was a good size and looked clean. Has good amenities.
Bed was comfortable enough, but the pillows and bedding smelled fusty and like unclean.
I would not return here again, for all the reasons above.
