They immediately changed the room when we noticed smell in the room.
Breakfast is very good with western & Chinese variety. They offered box to take food for leaving early before the restaurant opened for breakfast.
Located in historic alley, enjoyed walking to subway station.

The hotel is located in a HuTong which is one way traffic only. It casued some challenges to vehicle access. The closest subway station, Line 5 at DongSi station is 15 minutes walk distance.

Hotel incrível. Fomos bem recepcionadas, com água e frutas. O hotel fornece lavanderia gratuita aos hóspedes, coisa que nunca vi. Staff muito gentil e atencioso. Localização boa, perto de estações de metrô, área de alimentação e supermercado.
O café da manhã tem muita variedade, oriental e ocidental.

Location is not bad...within walking distance to the main street and a few convenience stores. Breakfast was pretty good, and it's awesome that they have Halal options.

The self-service laundry is great, too! We were able to do our laundry before heading home. Great hotel to stay in for a fuss-free stay. Don't expect five-star service and quality, but it is still a recommended choice, nonetheless!

Despite it is located in a Hutong and not that near to the 2 subway station, however the hotel make it all worth while. 1. There is FREE laundry service with dryer! 2. Room is super clean and housekeeping did a great job 3. Breakfast has a lot of varieties and changes everyday! 4. They knew it’s my birthday and send a cake.. not a piece of cake but the whole cake!
I will definitely stay here again!

Great location. Hotel is in a old fashion Hutong in the heart of Beijing where you see locals' life but also close to major tourism spots. It was super fun to walk or ride a bike through these Hutongs. Staffs are very friendly and try their best to make guest feel at home. Tasty breakfast with a lot of choices. Will definitely go back next time I visit Beijing!

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Beijing and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience from start to finish. The hotel combines international comfort with warm Chinese hospitality, making it a perfect choice whether you’re visiting for business or leisure.

Check-in was smooth and efficient, with English-speaking staff who were not only professional but also genuinely welcoming. My room was spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean, with a large comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, and reliable Wi-Fi.

The location was ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient.

Breakfast was a highlight — a generous buffet with both Western and Chinese options. The variety and freshness were impressive, and the service in the dining area was always attentive without being intrusive.

A special mention goes to the concierge staff, who went above and beyond to help me with directions and with the washer and dryer.

We enjoyed the facilties, the receptionists, the restaurant hostesses, the housekeepers and the doorman. Everyone was extremely polite and always welcoming you back to your rooms for exciting. It was a spotless hotel. The food for breakfast had a great variety as well as quality food for all to enjoy, whether you are of Chinese descent, Asian in general or of any other various ethnicity.
I appreciated their organization with receiving packages as well as I had notified them of a package arriving the next day.
The rooms were always kept clean and organized to where we left our personal belongings and they always refilled what we had used. The rooms are modern and comfortable with convenient tables for eating or working. Appreciated the large TV if you do watch. The only thing we didn't enjoy as much was the design of the shower stall and the mirror placement. If you are not a couple, one person has to be mindful to not look in the direction of the shower. Otherwise, it was great. The water pressure was perfect and the products given to use were good as well.

The subway station is 15 mins away however, so it is not the closest but, there are bus stops nearby as well as a lot of restaurants.

Would recommend and would stay again.

Das Personal war fantastisch. Trotz durchschnittlicher Englischkenntnisse war die Verständigung einfach. Das Personal nutzt einen Übersetzer mit Sprachfunktion.
Die nächste Metro Station Dongsi ist in ca. 5min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zur verbotenen Stadt ist es etwa ein 30min Fußweg.
Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Das Bad ist zwar etwas eng aber absolut ausreichend.
Es gibt Waschmaschinen und Wäschetrockner, die kostenlos genutzt werden können.
Alles in allem ein super Aufenthalt!

Excellent hotel stay with very attentive, friendly and helpful receptionists and doormen, who provided fantastic customer service every day. I arrived quite early from the airport, waited for a while at the lobby and was lucky to have a room available earlier to wash up and do my work. Breakfast was very good. Gym was a bit small but it does not matter since I didn't have time to use it anyway. Room is very clean and spacious. Good location. Very nice hotel stay.

We stayed in two rooms (3006 and 3008) for five nights at this hotel, and our experience was truly exceptional.

1. The reception staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, showing incredible generosity by granting us both an early check-in and a late check-out, which was greatly appreciated.

2. Room service was impressively quick. They immediately cleaned our room whenever they noticed us opening the door, allowing us to maximize our time and fully enjoy our holiday.

3. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive and efficient, quickly clearing my finished plates to free up space while ensuring my coffee remained untouched to reserve my table as I picked up more food. They also kindly allowed me to pack some breakfast for my wife and children, who were still asleep, making sure they didn’t miss out on the wonderful meal.

4. A special mention goes to Ms. Tammy, the front desk manager, for her outstanding professionalism and kindness. She informed us about the late-night supper service, complete with 24-hour coffee, and even went the extra mile by helping me order medication for my stomach flu, which arrived within just half an hour.

5. The hotel's location was quite convenient, as we had already known when making the reservation. Though access to the entrance required using Didi (China's ride-hailing app), it was manageable and added to the convenience of our stay. We had a great stay at the hotel, buffet breakfast was a hit. Loved the laundry service which was all controlled via QR code within WeChat.
Staff were lovely and courterous. Only down side was walk to the MTR was around 12-15 mins via the Hutong which we had to dodge multiple bikes, cars and motorcycles. If it was easier to walk and closer to the station, it would've been perfect.

We loved the free breakfast with so many choices. Food was quite good. Rooms were clean and well maintained.
Staff were helpful and polite. The only thing i didn't like is the location which is half way into a hutong which actually is an alley. Our taxi driver wouldn't drive us right up to the hotel and insisted we get off at the entrance of the hutong. We didnt think there's a hotel in the midst of a hutong. Also there arent many nice restaurants nearby.Other than that, we are happy with the hotel.

I had chosen this hotel for its downtown location. However I soon realised its location in a hutong can be inconvenient. On 3 occasions, the Didi driver I booked stopped at the entrance to Lishihutong, and told me to walk down the hutong to the hotel myself. Their reason: the hutong is single lane, and they could get caught in a \"traffic jam\" in it.

However the hotel itself, the service and the staff, were great.
1. I had dropped my USB multi-charging cable when out, and realised it only when I wanted to charge my phone and power banks at night. I approached Reception to borrow a USB cable for the night. Cindy at Reception said the hotel does not loan USB cables but said I could buy one online, and it would be delivered that night. It was already 10.45pm, I was sceptical. Since I am not able to read or type in Chinese, she helped me make a purchase using her phone. The much USB charging cable was delivered at 11.35pm to my room by the hotel's own delivery robot! Amazing service - both by the online vendor, Cindy, Holiday Inn Express and its delivery robot too.
2. I had booked a Didi car to bring me to the Airport. I was concerned the Didi driver may not want to drive into the hotel driveway. The doorman on duty, 刘枭翰, very kindly went to the entrance to the hotel driveway to wait for the Didi, and directed him into the driveway so I need not wait along the hutong itself. He also lifted my luggage into the boot. Congratulations on your excellent service staff!

Everything was very good, but I have two suggestions about the breakfast area. 1. As an individual traveller I didn't want to leave my bag at the table when I went looking for food or coffee (I'm very cautious). But I found that staff were too quick to take away my plates. Twice I left plates that were more than half full on the table while I went to get coffee, and found that they had been taken away when I got back. 2. The coffee situation is not good enough. Foreign guests want coffee. There's only one machine and always a line of people waiting around it. An older style of coffee service would be better (have a pot or two full of fresh coffee and let people come and pour it, rather than wait for a machine to make one cup at a time. Otherwise a very good experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from Dongsi metro station. As someone who is intolerant to some food groups I really applaud that the hotel is trying to label the breakfast food. However, the labelling is incorrect, for example, bread was labelled as allergen free and not as containing gluten. Fried rice with eggs was also labelled as allergen free. It would make the hotel even better if this could be addressed.

- Checkin schnell und unproblematisch. Ein Rezeptionist sprach etwas Englisch. (Für den Fall, dass es nicht so sein sollte nutzt man halt ne Translator-App. Das klappt auch ganz gut, normalerweise).
- Das Frühstück war sehr gut und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei (Asiatisch und Westlich).
- Das Zimmer entsprach den Fotos bei Hotels.com
- Das Bett war sehr bequem und sehr groß
- Riesen-TV
- Das Zimmer war groß genug für 2 Leute mit Gepäck. Das Bad war allerdings recht klein, aber auch ausreichend.
- Nachts war es sehr ruhig im Zimmer
- Metro war ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernt und entsprechend schnell ist man in der Innenstadt.
- Wir haben uns in der Umgebung zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit sicher gefühlt.

Fazit: Insgesamt waren wir sehr gut zufrieden (Preis-Leistung). Wir würden Wiederkommen.

Yes, the rooms are relatively cheap, but the condition of the rooms is so bad. They also promise in-room, safe, minibar etc, but you will find nothing but a bed and a TV with only Chinese TV channels.
Find another hotel.

Situato in un Hutong, non distante da città proiobita e piazza tienanmen circa 20/30 min auto. Metro a 15 min di distanza, ma utili da poter utilizzare per raggiungere varie destinazioni negli orari in cui in macchina c’è traffico. Colazione molto ricca, più salata che dolce.

El hotel está dentro de un Hutong y frente a una escuela secundaria. La zona es muy tranquila y el metro está a unos 10 mins caminando. El buffet de desayuno del hotel está balanceado. Solo hay dos lavadoras y dos secadoras que te ayudan a utilizar o que puedes usar si tienes WeChat con número chino (ojalá pongan una o dos más porque hay mucha demanda). El personal de recepción y de limpieza de las habitaciones es muy amable. Excelente hotel, cero complicaciones. Lo recomiendo y sin duda regresaría.

We truly felt at home during our stay. From the moment we set foot in the reception until our check out everything was perfect. The front desk staff were always friendly, smiling and willing to help. 位置：地下鉄まで徒歩15分ほどかかります。また、胡同の中にあるので、道幅が狭く、一方通行になるため、交通はやや不便さを感じます。夜は電灯も暗いため、初めての中国旅行での一人旅では少し不安を感じるかもしれません。治安は良いと思いますが、いかんせん一通りが少ないので。天気が良いときは徒歩で地下鉄やバスなどの利用もおすすめしますが、雨天のときはさらに不便さを感じるかもしれません。

飲食やコンビニなど：上記の位置になるため、大通りに出るまでレストランやコンビニがないです。外出した時に大通りで購入してからホテルへ向かうことをおすすめします。もちろん、デリバリーは利用できるので、スマホ等で利用できる方はそれもありかと思います。

ホテル施設：やや古い設備な点を感じるが、全体的に清潔感があり、シャワーの水圧もよく、お湯も高温で、居心地は良かったです。簡易的なビジネスホテルというイメージです。部屋にセーフティボックスがなかったので、外出時の貴重品管理はきちんとしましょう。

サービス：スタッフサービスも悪くないです。チェックイン時に、ウエルカムフルーツのサービスがありました。また客室には、インスタントコーヒー、お茶、ミネラルウォーター、缶コーラなどが無料で提供されていました。また、歯ブラシなどのアメニティ、使い捨てスリッパもあります。付近にコンビニやお店がないので、飲み物があるのは助かりました。

朝食：このレベルのホテルとしては、メニューも豊富で、日変わりで少しづつメニューなども変わっているので、連泊でも楽しめました。麺やワンタンなどもあります。

個人的にはコーヒーがテイクアウトできるのも良かったです。

残念だったのが、微妙なシーズンに宿泊したせいか、客室の空調（冷暖房）の調節ができなかったことです。客室内の温度が高かったのですが、空調で調整しようとしても機能していなかったので、室内は半袖で、外はダウンを着てという温度差がありました。

周囲も静かで、夜は騒音もなく、防音も良いようで、とても静かで安眠できます。

ホテルにはランドリーもついているので、連泊での選択にも便利かもしれません。私は利用しませんでしたが。

ちなみにWifiも良好です。

古い街並みが好きで、旅慣れしていて、連泊する際にはコスパが良いので、おすすめです。

フロントスタッフは英語も通じるので日本人でも安心できます。部屋は掃除が行き届いていて清潔です。ホテルまでの道が結構狭くて、車もバイクも結構通るので歩きやすくはないけど、駅が二駅使えるので便利です。
