The best part about the stay is the staff that made it welcoming and safe. This is my 2nd stay in this hotel.

Upon arrival in the lobby, i was greeted by my name by the manager, Ivanka (Zhang Lin). She recognised me from my previous stay and email correspondence. I’ve stayed in several hotels in various countries but this is the first time i was greeted by my name upon entering the lobby before providing any identification.

The attention to detail is amazing, every note and request mentioned in my email has been acknowledged and met. Ivanka said that she remembered my flight arrival timing and came out to welcome me. This is crazy good service since I’m just a regular hilton member.

The room was better than the one in my previous stay, granted there were some minor issues since this is a really old hotel. The staff made the stay enjoyable. Everyone always greets you with a smile whenever you enter the hotel premise.

Since it is still considered winter, the central aircon was turned off. However, an air cooler is provided to us throughout the stay on request. The staff also made sure to fill the air cooler with ice and cold water near the evening (outside of housekeeping hours) so that the room is cool enough throughout the night. Ivanka and the team is really meticulous. This is probably the best service i’ve ever gotten in my entire decade of travelling.

The bar is set so high I’m not sure if i can ever stay in a different hotel in beijing.

Hotel’s location was the main plus point, rooms were rather warm esp during the day when there’s sun even with a blower and windows opened, think hotel should really consider supplying cool air-con even during winter. all the staffs were nice and helpful esp the ones who tending the main entrance out in the cold.

Downside was the room’s toilet bowl had an unpleasant sewage smell.

He then gave us his name card - Room Division Manager Hilton - saying that he was not sure if he was the helper from God but he was sure that he was a helper from Hilton Hotel Wangfujing Beijing, the same hotel we would stay for the next 10 days. At the same night when we came back to the hotel from outings, there were gifts and a birthday card for my husband laying on the desk writing by him with lots of other staff signatures. We were both extremely happy and surprised. How did he find out all about us?? He is not only a helper from Hilton but a real helper from God. He made our China trip so colorful and memorable. God bless him and his family!

Great location Great room. It was our third time in Beijing. The reason why I gave it a 4* is the continuous lack of smile/ friendliness from the team at Hilton. Very robotic and transactional. No warmth. The housekeeping team were lovely. Always smiling and greeting. The front desk/ lobby team can definitely improve on this front. I've been to China many times and have stayed at many hotels even in rural areas and they have for the most part been super friendly -even with zero english- smiling/ friendliness is universal, no matter what language we speak- one cannot argue that Hilton way is the Chinese cultural way of being. Other than that, it was a was another memorable stay in Beijing. Thank you!

Property is dater. It probably looked really nice 10 years ago. Carpet was stained all over. The walk-in shower floor was angled away from the drain, so you'd stand in a pool of water almost up to your ankles - not nice. Out of 2 restaurants on the property, only 1 was open. Ordered room service - a sandwich and soup. Sandwich bread was stale and soup tasted like it was heated out of a carton.

Our stay at Hilton included breakfast, and there was a variety of choices. As a Muslim, it was a pleasant surprise to see that each non-halal food had a sign next to it that said “Contains pork.”

However, they don’t have a business center to manage our bookings that needed computer access. The concierge allowed us to use theirs. Most of the staff were very attentive, but one of the employees was rude.

We decided to ship our luggage from Beijing to Shanghai. The shipping company has a regulation that prohibits liquids and electronics inside the baggage for fast delivery, so we had to open all our luggage (4 large suitcases) for the delivery man to inspect each and every item, which was fine by us. However, the inspection was in the middle of the lobby and in front of everyone. To say it was embarrassing was an understatement…

My sister family and my parents were give rooms on different floors which they're okay since the hotel is full. But one room was a very odd room, in between 2 rooms with no numbers and 1 room has a red paper with some writing 'ping an'. The moment they enter that room, they can tell that the room is musty, dusty, is basically an empty hotel room that has never been use for a very long time. My sister was very angry and asked for explanation and a change of room. The hotel receptioned did not even dare to say no to all those above. They quickly found a new room for the children and nannies.

We had a fantastic time at the Hilton Wangfujing! It was my wife’s and my 20th anniversary. We mentioned it to them and one night they sent us up a cake and decorated the bed with two swans made out of towels and sprinkled rose petals on it. A very nice touch. Hilton hotel WangFuJing is one of the best hotels we stayed at. We booked 2 rooms for a week-long stay. Staff were extremely helpful and kind.

Front Desk manager was very thoughtful, although the central air conditioning was not fully operational, he made an effort to move us to higher floor in hopes of cooler air. Breakfast variety was average.

Location was excellent, 2-3 mins walks to APM mall and situated in Wang Fu Jing pedestrian street with lots of delicious dining options. This hotel is ideal for families and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent customer service, no matter who you speak to or what time of day you make a request. The only minor downside is that the hotel rooms are a bit dated, and depending on where your room is, you can hear the noise from the street (mostly just people talking loudly from outside the mall or street).

The hotel is overall nice and close to shopping , major attractions and metro. The couple of drawbacks for me was the heat in the room ( 27 degrees), 25 degrees in the hallways. Not great for sleeping. The lack of a decent bar was also a drawback. It may be different in high season. Staff were very friendly and accommodated my late checkout request.

Loved this stay! From start to finish, every one of the staff was so helpful. I speak zero Mandarin, so I needed lots of help and this staff delivered.
When I was getting help with transportation to the airport, it was pointed out I had the wrong time and missed my flight. Bummer, but the staff at concierge (Elvis was his name) actually got on the phone with the airlines and was able to rebook the following day and got my original room rebooked while he was on that call.
5 ⭐️s are not enough for this awesome location and incredible staff.

The hotel is in a good location, but as soon as we entered the lobby from the street upon our arrival there was a heavy smell of sewage right at the entrance that is consistent. Further to that, the toilets in the reception area did not have toilet paper and we had to let the check-in staff know about it.

Unfortunately, the smell is consistent and the team tries to compensate for the smell by putting fragrance to cover up the smell but it is not helping at all and it is carrying through the lift shaft as well and on to other levels of the hotel.

Besides that, the service is fast and the team tried to be accommodating and the breakfast has a great variety to choose from. The coffee is good at breakfast as well.

The hotel was clean and the rooms have great size, the problem is that the temperature can’t be set in the room, we try to set the temperature colder and it was impossible, it was really hard to get a good sleep with the room temperature at 27 Celsius / 80 Fahrenheit. And the other problem was a carpet in the room that it looked like it has been there since Ming dynasty, really ugly and dirty. Room temperature at 80 and a really dirty carpet is the worst combination for allergies.

First of all, the room is very large with separate walk in closet and bathtub/shower area. Most hotel has no bathtub any more.
The young lady Alice in breakfast room is charming and warm and very on top of everything. I ordered earl grey tea with lemon once and then she brings me one every following date, The concierge team is also very helpful - a very pleasant stay for us in Beijing!

The hotel itself was fine. The check in process was long and painful. We had two rooms booked and it was confusing. On day before checkout we asked for an extension to one room. The girl sold me a date and told me it was the last room- the rate I discovered was triple the rate on the app. This took about an hour of time to do and then I had to go back and ask for a refund as the app showed a much more competitive rate. Why say this was last room and try to charge so much? Anyway in the end we managed to get a refund and book on app but their service was very frustrating

The hotel room looked clean, but I found a used cotton swab on the floor upon entering the room. Good location for Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Jingshan Park, etc plus close to Wangfujing Station on the metro. I had lounge access and was impressed with the food and service. Nicole was particularly helpful with lots of help and advice about attractions and local restaurants (for Peking Roast Duck - rude not to try it!). Also close to shopping if that's your thing. I would stay again.
