The manager was responsive and it was quiet. There were some cleanliness and general maintenance issues. The tub drain was full of hair, tub faucet handle fell off, bulb burned out. One of the mattresses needs replacing. Needs a good, deep cleaning. Coffee was good.

We did not stay the night. The Febreze smell was so dominant in the room, we just left. We selected this because of all the positive reviews. Big mistake for us.

When you travel, you can't help but compare with other hotels you stay at. We enjoyed this location - especially the shared living room with a view on the water.
The rooms are large, clean and have been renovated.

What I did not like is having to pay $50 for an early check in.
Fine, we were super early.
But we also left super early - 4am.

I really wish hotels caught up with travelers - especially when the hotel is not full, the room is ready, and it doesn't cost them anything to accommodate.
And this is not a corporately owned location. you make the choice to charge your customers!

I work in the service industry where we do everything we can to accommodate customers.

oh, and of course, the next location we stayed in did not charge us and we arrived even earlier.
and yes, we will leave early there too! :)

We would still stay here again if the price was right.

The room was okay. The picture they show of the view was very misleading. You see Mt. Baker but you see a painting company and their ugly trucks and right under the window. Also, the fireplace wasn't working. They informed us that they shut off the gas during the warmer months. The fireplace was one of the main reasons we chose this room and there was no disclaimer stating the fireplace wouldn't be working. Very disappointed. Also, I do have to say, it could have been in better condition. The calking around the jetted tub was falling off, the sink faucet was leaking onto the counter around the sink, and the blackout curtains didn't block out the light because of gaps, also, the curtains were kinda filthy as well. But, the room was clean, bed was comfy, and it was an easy check-in process. Jetted tub was nice except, it had these 2 raised areas that made the tub very awkward to use. Very bad design. Jets worked well, though!

Don’t let the pictures fool you. It’s a “nice” place but it’s in a commercial/industrial zone right across from a lumberyard. We’d never been to Anacortes before and thought it would be a quaint/historic town that had the look and feel of LaConner.

Not even close. It’s just refineries, shipping, manufacturing, and no charm- and this place is right in the heart of it, ground zero. A stay like this should be $109/night MAX MAX MAX with a mattress that feels like a sponge.

Just drive 10 minutes down the road to LaConner and stay in the beautiful setting you truly had in mind. It’s not this place and it’s definitely not this town. The whole thing is a bust but the ferry out.

Off the busy road in Anacortes, so it was quiet. We were going to arrive late and they waited for us so they could give us the key. This was very helpful. I liked staying there. It was my second time.

Super early check in was accommodated, great location, clean rooms, not expensive, close parking. A/C was old - it was a window unit that either cooled or heated. Worked fine, but problematic keeping a temperature when the unit is set to heat and it warms up past the set point - it will never cool unless you switch it. A nitpick, but otherwise, a nice place to overnight.

Wonderful place to stay in Anacortes! Very close (drive) to \"downtown\", but even better, walking distance to the bagel place :). Very quiet neighboorhood, also easy to park out front. Friendly and helpful staff. Room: ample size, clean and bed very comfy!

We absolutely loved the welcoming warm greetings of the staff person. The room was spacious and very clean with a comfortable bed. We missed a hand rail in the tub/shower.
We did not like the frequent and repetitive messaging regarding our arrival and departure times. One even tried to upsell us on an earlier arrival time and larger room. This was annoying and if it hadn’t been for the lovely desk person we might not have enjoyed the property as much. Please reconsider this intrusive marketing.

Stay was good- room comfortable and fireplace gave it a nice touch. To the hotel owner I suggest changing the toilet seat which was visibly worn out and reminding cleaning personnel to also clean the fireplace shelf which was dusty. Everything else was great.

I can only speak to the room I was given, but it was not good. The front door of the unit opened right into the parking lot. Since opening the curtains would provide a direct view into the unit by anyone using the parking lot, I never opened them. Consequently, the room was always dark. There was also an unpleasant odor.

Room was OK. It had been updated in recent years but cleaning was below average. The bathroom floor needed a good mopping, hair in and around the tub and carpet could use a vacuuming. There was no handsoap at the sink so had to use the shower bodywash as a quick fix.

The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Our location was on the backside of the hotel on the ground floor in an alleyway with parking right in front of the room door.

We loved staying in Anacortes and the price was reasonable. The lumberyard across the street was noisy early in the morning and breakfast/coffee were offered too late to be useful. Thankfully there were good coffee places nearby and the rooms were very spacious.

It was next to a lumber yard, however accessible to DT Anacortes and Bellair Shuttle service if you’re using their services. It was safe with options of Safeway, dining, and fast food. The room was clean, offers microwave and fridge, newer furniture and vanity in the bathroom. Breakfast starts at 9am, which is kind of late in my opinion for most travelers.

Despite the online pics, the place is next to a lumber yard that blocks any views of the water. There is nothing remarkable to add to the convenience of being in a town near the San Juan ferry.

The toilet paper roll dispenser was broken, there was peeling calking on every counter and there were a total of five facial tissues available for use before the box ran empty. The whole place had a sad vibe and was poorly built and outfitted! There were also zero housecleaning services!

Upon returning from San Juan Island later in the evening on a Saturday night, our electronic key did not work and there was nobody present to set it right and we had to sleep in the car until 9:00am the next morning before being able to retrieve our things.
When we brought our concerns to the staff, we were told that because we paid through Expedia that there was nothing they could do to make amends.
Save yourself from this, people! It sucks!

the breakfast did not open until 9am, on a Saturday. We went up for classes that started at 8:30.
Saturday at 8:30 housekeeping knocked on our door to service. we asked for an extra coffee pod and was told no because the breakfast did not open till 9! the person at the desk did offer two yogurts and 2 tiny apples to us on Friday night. we chose this for the breakfast and could not participate in it and the gentleman at the desk could not have cared less. the room was clean, enough outlets, easy parking. well never go there again.

Great place to stay

Great place with kitchenette. Spacious room and comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. The only negative is that there is no elevator available. We had suitcases that we needed help with; the person at the front desk helped when we checked in; when we checked out, we had to carry them down ourselves. It was difficult; so that part of the stay was hard. Thank you for a nice place to stay in the heart of anacortes.

Decent place

The room was huge with 2 bedrooms a kitchen and the diningeoom. Check in was easy and they got us in early. It was a nice stay but the room could use a deep cleaning. You could tell the cleaned the general spots but the blinds were dirty, the bathroom looks like it could use a fresh coat of paint and they could add a second AC split the livingroom and dining room got warm early, and the only split was in the primary suite. It was spacious though which really was great!

Overpriced and Outdated

It was wrong location for softball tournament wanted to cancel 4 days before check-in but they wouldn’t honor the refund. I figured well since we’ve already paid might as well stay since the photos online seemed like the rooms were updated and modern. We’ll to our surprise it was far from that and the pictures of the rooms online to be misleading since the room we got definitely had a cigarette smell to it when you first walk in. The walls need to be cleaned since it had stains on it, paint is chipped everywhere, the bathroom was dirty. It looks like a motel the sofa bed was rough and got charged for an extra guest when the king suite sleeps 4! There were hairs all over the bed which was pretty nasty. Went back down to the office to ask for a new room and the lights were off and door was locked. Just my luck! Breakfast was basic bagels, muffins and cereal. Not to mention over priced for a Motel looking place! Please update your photos online for your customers! On the bright side Check-in was fast the parking area is pretty small tho. It was quiet in the area which was nice. I will avoid this place in the future its outdated and overpriced!

It was a nice property. We went on a Wednesday in April so it was pretty much empty. Given the lack of guests, I was pleased that the breakfast was decent. The food selection wasn't huge but still better than I expected given that we only saw one other person show up. The room was clean and the area was quiet. We didn't have to drive very far to find a good dinner. For the price, it was an enjoyable stay

The property is conveniently located and is in a quiet area. The room is pretty standard and nothing too fancy. The bathroom lacked a mat outside the shower so we made do with hand towels. Check out was as effortless as we've experienced - we didn't speak to anyone and let them know via text when we were departing.

Had a deluxe king room and I have to say that this in one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

The fireplace was such a great feature to have as well as the wet bar. Everything has been renovated which makes it all very aesthetically pleasing.

The front desk person was so helpful and gave me some more coffee pods to use.

Such a wonderful experience. Probably will be back with family to stay in their villas.

Thanks!

I was disappointed in this property considering the room rate. It's set up like a motel, with the rooms entered from outside. There was light coming in from around the edge of the door due to poor insulation. The garbage truck picks up right outside the room is was in, twice a week @ 7:30am. The HVAC was loud, too close to the bed, and the A/C turns off until 7am. No in room courtesies like bottled water, Kleenex, or hand lotion. The bed was very soft and there was only a heavy comforter which was too warm for the stuffy room. The hair dryer outlet was too far from the bathroom mirror, I could only see half of myself. The office isn't open when you check out so you can't verify your charges. The location is 1/2 a block from the main road, so I was walking in an alley in the dark every night. I will find another place to stay the next time I'm in Anacortes.
