This is a perfectly reasonable place but not quite up there to get a good rating. Staff were pleasant and friendly but service was often slow both at reception, breakfast and by the pool. Many sun loungers were broken. Towels by the pool and in the room ok but looking tired and a bit warm. Slight smell from the drains in all rooms. Nothing to put me off coming back at a reasonable price but also not quite up there to get me rushing to book again soon.

Luxury Reimagined: The Art of Almost

If ever there were a case study in how to take a potentially delightful hotel and run it with the precision of a student house share, this is it. One might almost call it “5-star chic” — all the trappings, none of the substance. The Gen Z clientele clearly adore it: Instagrammable corners aplenty, and management that seems equally committed to the principle of style triumphs over functioning safes, clean cups, or replenished tea bags.

Housekeeping demonstrated admirable consistency in never once replacing towels correctly or noticing that cups still bore evidence of prior adventures. Truly, one must admire such dedication to minimalism.

The fire alarm one morning was a masterclass in nonchalance. Should there ever be a genuine blaze, I feel confident we would ascend not via the fire stairs, but straight to the heavens — a unique check-out experience, if you will.

And then there’s the 3am to 5am entertainment — a thoughtful addition for those who tire of mere sleep. When the local nightclubs close, the hotel very generously transforms into a kind of open-plan dormitory experiment, complete with corridor duels, balcony courtships, and the dulcet tones of nocturnal revelers. A true community spirit.

In short, if you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a college dorm won the lottery and bought itself a chandelier, this is your answer

Weekend break to Malta

We had a lovely weeked trip to Malta, the Number11 hotel was fantastic, very clean, modern and friendly staff. We were awoken every night at 3am by the nearby student bars & construction site at 6am. Many thanks :)

Even it was stated that the hotel was soundproof, and a reason why I choose this hotel, it was quite the opposite, there was a lot of noise from outside, but even more from inside the hotel, could hear peoples tv from across the hallway, and it was not turned up unreasonably, for one thing.

A lovely hotel in a very accessible location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was made to feel very relaxed.
My room was a decent size, clean modern and close to lots of amenities.
Hotel staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and courteous. I felt very welcome and as if nothing was too much bother.
My only issue was with the surrounding area as there is a lot of construction taking place which isn't the fault of the hotel but my advice would be to remain cautious walking around as there isn't always solid pavement to walk on.
The area is also very lively lots of loud bars/clubs and young people partying but fortunately the sound proof windows conveniently blocked out the noise to my great satisfaction! I'd highly recommend staying here.

Had an issue with cancellation of a booking through Expedia. I cancelled through Expedia but it didn’t go through due to an Expedia app malfunction and the hotel charged me £250 anyways and refused to refund despite being made aware of the malfunction. Expedia were willing to refund but the staff at the hotel were less than understanding, patronising through email and gave attitude (especially Tathiana Chermont) . I would give 0 stars if I could. Please, if you are staying at this hotel, make sure you have no issues because if you do, I can assure you they will NOT support you. Do yourself a favour and stay away from Number 11.

Great location, great hotel

Was in Malta for business and couldnt have selected a better hotel to stay. The location was great, in Paceville where most things are happening, the hotel was clean, the room and shower were super sized, the internet was working perfectly and the breakfast was decent. The guys at the reception were very helpful and the resto/bar on the ground floor is a Malta hotspot.

Price for quality that you get is well justified.

Very happy and will consider to visit this hotel again in the future.

Very good but a few small problems

Over all a very nice, clean, modern Hotel. Checking was great, despite arriving early we were given a room. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Room was clean and modern, maybe a little more storage and hangers needed but that’s all. Breakfast was continental, but a good choice.
Pool on the roof was nice with good quality sun beds etc. Pool bar though was a shambles, the members of staff there was not interested at all. Her phone was the only thing she was bothered about. We asked for towels to be told go get your own from reception. We asked for a drink to be told she didn’t have any, go to the main bar downstairs and get your own. Glasses and bar area were discussing. Bars and restaurants at this hotel are run by some other company which is a slight let down. Bar not open till 6pm weekdays.
Over all an excellent hotel but need to improve the bar, restaurant side for the customer enjoyment as they represent the hotel.

Great hotel and very reasonable price!!!

A really great hotel. It’s very contemporary and the furnishings and fittings are to a high standard. There is a lovely pool area and the rooms were very well equipped and cleaned daily. The location is great and very central and the rooms well sound proofed to shield from noise outside.

The staff were great, the restaurant food good and breakfast nice.

The only area where they could do a little better is to serve some hot items at breakfast.

The hotel is great for the price and for the location. Its close to most restaurants. It does get load with party goers on the street especially on the weekends but the room windows do a good job to keep the noise out.

The rooms were a great size and clean. Sadly the view from the balcony isn't great but overall not too bad. The pool is quite small and the only downside for us was the parking. €8 a day is pretty steep and there is hardly any on street parking available in this area. parking should be subsidized for the guests IMO.

Breakfast was good for a free one and overall can't fault with the hotel. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for 5 nights in busy August and we loved this hotel and pretty much everything about it! Location is spot on, ideally situated between St George’s Bay and St Julian’s/ Spinola Bay. We loved the rooftop pool, especially 1st thing in the morning when it was very quiet.

Rooms were perfect for us and the beds super comfy. The staff were excellent especially Laia on reception and the lovely helpful lady at breakfast, nothing was too much trouble.

Breakfast was really good we thought (I’m not sure what some people expect!! But to say it’s terrible as I’ve read in one previous review is just not factual) it’s really decent and plenty of choice for all tastes )

The water bottle refill station is a fantastic bonus and all hotels should do this, so Kudos to Number 11 for providing it - Great to save on plastic waste and save you money.

Just to clarify. We had no issues with noise inside or outside the hotel ( bedroom doors are soft close and the halls are carpeted so minimal noise) Amazing hotel

The room and shower was nice although our first shower leaked all the way into the lounge. The aircon is not easy to set as it seems to be controlled by the reception. Moved room once due to leakage and aircon. 2nd room better although hotel is generally hot in all common areas. Reception staff slow to respond. Pool area is small with not many sun loungers. Happy hour is not at the pool, but downstairs in the lovely restaurant with amazing cocktails. Staff at the restarant are attentive. Limited breakfast options, still nice and fresh fruit. Overpriced stay overall.

Estuve seis noches en este hotel y todo fue maravilloso. Habitaciones muy cómodas, camas y almohadas perfectas, y una ducha grande, moderna y con mucha presión de agua. Excelente servicio y atención. La piscina en el techo siempre a buena temperatura y con vistas espectaculares. El restaurante Mestizo y el desayuno muy buenos. Destaco la amabilidad de la señorita Pilar. Totalmente recomendable.


I stayed at this hotel for six nights and everything was wonderful. Very comfortable rooms, perfect beds and pillows, and a large, modern shower with great water pressure. Excellent service and staff. The rooftop pool was always at a great temperature with spectacular views. The Mestizo restaurant and breakfast were very good. Special thanks to Ms. Pilar for her kindness. Highly recommended.


Ich habe sechs Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht und alles war wunderbar. Sehr komfortable Zimmer, perfekte Betten und Kissen sowie eine große, moderne Dusche mit starkem Wasserdruck. Ausgezeichneter Service und freundliches Personal. Der Pool auf dem Dach hatte immer eine angenehme Temperatur und eine tolle Aussicht. Das Restaurant Mestizo und das Frühstück waren sehr gut. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit von Frau Pilar. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Het hotel was op zich prima. Op 5 minuten loopafstand van heel veel restaurants en clubs/bar, dus genoeg keuze. Ook supermarkten vlakbij. Het restaurant in/naast het hotel was ook heel erg goed. Niet heel goedkoop maar wel superlekker eten.

Het hotelpersoneel was erg behulpzaam. Enige minpunt voor ons wat de geur in de douche. In onze eerste kamer vonden we het echt stinken naar rioollucht. Met een soort luchtverfrisser probeerde men dat weg te krijgen maar dat lukte niet. Daarna kregen we een andere kamer op de 5e verdieping en die was wel goed. Verder een prima hotel. Parkeren kan op straat en ook in een parkeergarage op 1 minuut lopen voor 8 euro per nacht

Indretning var lidt for mørk efter min smag.
Men udover indretningen, var det et super hyggeligt sted. Hotellets restaurant var god, lækker mad og drinks! Flink personale, værelserne blev gjort rene. Roomservice, kom ofte kl. 13. 00 - Hvilken for mig kunne være en forhindring, kunne være dejligt hvis det var lidt tidligere. Især hvis man evt. ville tage en et bad eller en nap, efter en solbadning på hotels lækre pool. Ikke særlig stort, men super hyggeligt.
Hotellets beliggenhed er meget livlig..
3 -12 min gang til klubberne om aften, shoppingscenter og spisesteder.
Jeg var på solo tur og transportmulighederne var rigtig gode, både deres Bolt og bus.

Un bel hôtel mais trop cher par rapport aux services proposés notamment le petit déjeuner.
En arrivant à cet hôtel, je pensais pas que c’était bruyant et animé, des hôtels en construction à côté,et les jeunes qui font la fête tard la nuit
