The staff are amazing and friendly besides the lady who did the check in which needs to be a little polite and being confrontational with guest. My daughter asked if there is a pool and her answer was didn’t you check before doing the reservation.

This is a comfortable hotel with excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. Everything worked and the room was clean. It is not within walking distance to Sienna city center but there is a bus there.

This was an exceptionally nice hotel. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The front desk clerk was friendly and efficient and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at any hotel. It was close to Siena and easy to access from the highway. We recommend this hotel highly.

The reservation states nothing about the arrival time, and only warns that to arrive early or to arrange a time with the reception. We had contacted the hotel for late arrival, but there was never a reply. Luckily at 10 pm, we called the reception, and the lady was angry, saying the reception just closed. After apologizing and apologizing, she said: 30 minutes and no more. This caused us to race along the highway in order to get there 1 minute before being left out.

Consigliato per chi vuol visitare Siena, dal momento che il parcheggio della stazione dista 10 minuti di macchina, costa 2 euro al giorno e con le scale mobili si raggiunge porta camolia. San Gimignano si raggiunge in meno di mezzora, per Volterra servono circa 15 minuti in più. Ottima base per visitare le maggiori attrazioni della zona.

L'hotei I Platani si trova appena fuori Siena in direzione di Monteriggioni, che si raggiunge in pochi minuti di auto attraverso la strada che dall'albergo si snoda tra boschi e campi. Per visitare la città, usare il parking alla stazione treni, al costo di 2 €, prendere la scala mobile all'interno del centro commerciale e si è vicini a porta Camollia.
