This is a fantastic hotel a short walk from the seafront with a wonderful view down to the castle and harbour. The rooms have been completely modernised while keeping all their personality and charm. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet.
The staff are kind, helpful, professional and committed to making sure their guests have a great time.
The breakfast spread is fantastic, a real feature of the hotel. We especially enjoyed the yoghurt with dried and fresh fruit, the wide choice of Turkish cheeses, the variety of olives, the range of home made bread and pastries, delicious homemade jam (you must try the quince and the tangerine!) and there were many other good things.
The hotel has many regular customers who return again and again, and we plan to join them

El Vino Hotel is a great hotel. Everything about it is outstanding. It is really a boutique hotel of outstanding character. The breakfast buffet is among the best I’ve ever seen. The manager, Deniz, is always available and always helpful. Friendly, efficient staff as well.

This is a lovely upscale little hotel with beautiful grounds and two pools. It is quiet and private and the staff is very responsive. We ate several times at the rooftop restaurant and every meal was excellent and the views are unparalleled. A truly wonderful experience.

Very rustic, traditional hotel with nice pools, especially the quiet one up high. Lots of steps so not ideal for people with limited mobility, especially to the restaurant on the top floor. It’s a good 10 minute walk from the beach but easy access to the bus station. If you’re looking for a typical Turkish hotel you’ll find this little gem of a hotel ideal.

El Vino is a uniquely tasteful, artful hotel with an especially attentive, well-managed staff. I would make every effort to stay here again when in Bodrum. Those who have difficulty climbing stairs should request rooms on the ground floor because the hotel has no elevator. Those who can climb stairs well will enjoy the beautiful views from rooms overlooking the sea on floor three.

I didn't like the welcome I received - it was quite impersonal for a solo, female traveler. Other staff were kind, personable and helpful. The cats are very cheeky but sweet. The dog needs to be put on a diet immediately - felt very sorry for amount of weight the dog was living with. The property is lovely if in need of a drastic pruning before the garden overtakes the pool and building. The restaurant at the top of the property is lovely - good food and beautiful view over Bodrum. The 4:30pm drinks/tea and sweet/savoury goodies is perfect after a day of sightseeing, wandering Bodrum. My room was lovely with small, private balcony. Clean. Great breakfast rooms and food/tea/coffee selection. Full travelers library with books in variety of languages. I would stay here again and will recommend it to others. One will enjoy their stay if they are okay with cats. I am not a 'cat person' but I found them fun and entertaining. Nice place for relaxing.

All the staff were friendly and made sure we were catered for. The hotel and gardens are beautifully maintained , with a pool area that is so relaxing. The rooftop dining area has a stunning view over Bodrum bay, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The added touch that this hotel provides is afternoon Turkish tea for all the guests . This gives the guests an opportunity to get to know each other . We were all kept safe by Kiki the hotels dog whi greeted us every morning . The hotel is about 40 minutes by taxi from the airport and was 1300 Turkish lira . Bodrum town centre is a 10 minute walk away with shops and restaurants staying open into the late evening .Our stay has been amazing ,hopefully yours will be too .

Little gem of a hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the harbor area but close enough to main attractions to be walkable. Accommodations are rustically luxurious, spacious, and immaculate. The pool area is lovely and was a godsend during our recent stay when temperatures rose well above 100. Dinner on the rooftop provided splendid view of the city. We particularly appreciated the warmth and professionalism of our waiter who also served us poolside during the day. Highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms and the facilities are outdated however the staff is very kind and helpful. There are lots of steps to reach your room, parking spaces and the pool. The Peking lot is on the street but belong to the hotel. We couldn’t find a place and parked on the street.

We love to travel the world but this is our first time in Turkey in almost 20 years. We are pleased with the experience at Elvino hotel. Our room was beautiful, the hotel grounds are as beautiful as a tropical paradise. The reception staff, and frankly almost all of the staff were as good as you could ask for in every way. There was only one single person who was less than accommodating, and anyone can have a bad day. The breakfast is nice, the pool is interesting and attractive, and you can easily walk into town for shopping or sightseeing. We have no complaints.

Although the reviews were good when I booked, I was still very pleasantly surprised by this property. The room was a good size and very clean. It looked out onto the garden and pool with a good view of the old harbor. The breakfast was delicious in a nice setting, and the price seemed good compared to other options. But what really stood out was the service. From check in to check out, I interacted with several staff members and all were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The hotel is in a premier location, an easy 10 minute walk into Bodrum for shopping and the waterfront area. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean with beautiful gardens. Breakfast in the am has a really delicious selection of various foods with excellent staff service. The views from the rooftop which include the restaurant is outstanding. You will experience a sunset over the mountains and a scenic view of the Bodrum bay area. At night time the medieval castle is lit up and the lights are on in Bodrum, what a view. Excellent food selection for our dinners on the rooftop, the flavour, taste and quality put a smile on our face everytime we ate dinner, we were never disappointed. The sea bass and pan fried calamari was exceptional, we ordered 3 nights and it was so good. We ate dinner every night during our stay, it was so outstanding. The restaurant service manager \"Adam\" prides himself on making your dining experience and food quality the best. El Vino was an excellent hotel to start our travels through SW Turkey. After a long trip from SE Asia, the staff provided excellent service, particularly the chef and restaurant staff who were outstanding. The food quality was the best I have had in many years, and there was plenty of it. The location although slightly out of the main tourist center was absolutely fine making connections to other surrounding destinations easier should the traffic be excessive. The walk to the castle and waterfront is excellent, only 10 minutes. All in all, I can recommend El Vino at any time of year. It was cold and wet during our stay but the staff ensured our stay was comfortable.

Little things make the difference. Most hotels give you a free bottle per person everyday. So you stay one day you get three bottles. You stay for days you get three bottles. Don't understand. Shame but it's irritating.

The property is like a paradise. You enter trough a door from an ordinary Bodrum street, into an extraordinary world. Photo's on the site only partially reflects the atmosphere. Room (suite) was beautiful. The space, amenities, closet space, decoration, view were all perfect. Room cleaning was extraordinary. The entire property walkways are cleaned (wiped and washed) multiple times (it doesn't get dirty, but to clean the leaves and flower pellets from well landscaped plants and trees). Food at the restaurant is outstanding. Staff is fiendly, very helpful and professional (Guray is an example). Pool is great. Not big, but never crowded. Perfect place to rest and read. A more private second pool (Terrace pool) is worth spending time. We stayed 9 nights. Spent many days in the property, rather than going out. I congratulate the management for maintaining this unique truly butique hotel.

We booked the room with a sofa sitting space. It also comes with a balcony surrounded by plants and jasmines. When the double-paned windows were open, we could hear the hotel staff and other guests that walked by our uint but not seeing them nor could they see us. So we could enjoy absolute privacy in the middle of a well-kept and well-designed garden. The room is spacious that comes with fridge, tea kettle, coffee maker, and a sink, but no stove. Bath room is clean and good size.

What an outstanding stay in Bodrum. Deniz and his team are attentive efficient friendly and professional. Deniz is always at your disposal to assist, WhatsApp contact with the hotel manager is surprisingly useful sometimes! Highly recommend the boat trip which Deniz arranged for guests - no more than 8 pax, no children. Lunch served on board was excellent with the best fish I had all week served with a charming cheeky chilled white wine whilst bobbing in the Aegean - perfect. Good swim spots as well.

Only two small bottles were provided on the first day were complimentary rest all were chargeable . Even water served in glasses during dinner was also charged. Overall hotel was value for money.
