The location is perfect for exploring, there is plenty to do and see in the vicinity of the hotel. Oljiy on reception has been excellent with his tips for getting around to different parts of the city and was always happy to help, my experience was the same with other staff. A few things could be improved, the wifi was slow, the room was small and the gym had a damp odour, but overall it was an enjoyable stay for the price.

There’s a lot to be happy with during a stay. The location is excellent, being just off the main shopping street with lots of restaurants shops and a connection to the metro a short walk away.
The rooms are slightly small but definitely sufficient, the swimming is a welcome addition to the holiday and we made Daily use of it.
The breakfast is ok but we are vegetarian and so our choice is limited. The roof top view of the city and river is great.
We booked 2 rooms unfortunately the AC issues in one of those rooms is the only downside, this remained unsolved during our stay. It’s definitely a causal attitude towards customer service.
Would I rebook at this hotel - Yes, it’s good value for money.

I booked 5 hotels at Istanbul but I will not recommand this one:
- worst bed (509 and 404)
- unhealthy carpet in the bedroom
- worst breakfast,
- worst fitness space

Overall the location and the pool made my one night stay pleasant. Hotel is close to two underground stations, and the busy Istiklal Caddesi yet quiet. I stayed in a single room which had what I can only describe as the smallest single bed imaginable, couldn't even turn around and I am a small person. It was more like a child bed. Room could easily have accommodated a small double bed or simply a normal size single bed.
Hotel was clean and stylish throughout. The terrace could be so much nicer with small touches. Breakfast had plenty choice but unfortunately not the best quality. Some staff were very welcoming, others looked fed up. Guests could hear the argument coming from kitchen during breakfast. All in all a nice hotel which could be even better with small improvements here and there.

The location was perfect, very accessible to key sites around Istiklal Caddesi and surrounds and walking distance to Tunel, Tramway, Taksim etc.

Service was consistently good.

Room was clean and had all basic amenities, was small but more than enough for a solo traveler.

The Hotel was greatly located, in the Galata neighbourhood, which has shopping boutiques, Restaurants, cafes and Bars.
The only downside is that the hotel is actually composed of two buildings together, and we were placed in the building on the back, which was older and not very nice looking, maybe it was because we were staying in a Apartment-size room.
The Breakfast was appreciated, although it didn’t had much options.
We didn’t had time to try the pool nor the sauna, maybe next time.

We booked a double standard room and a flat.
The hotel is located in a very nice area, 1 minute walking distance from istiklal street.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
However, the rooms are too small, it can barely accommodate two persons. For the flat, we were located on the second floor and we couldn’t sleep until 4 am because of loud music coming from nearby pubs ( A really, really loud music)
The access for the flats is hectic (the elevator is located on the first floor and not ground floor) and we had one air conditioner not working, staff tried to help but it didn’t work.
The breakfast is good, served on top of the hotel with nice view but with limited variety (and very unpleasant smells :/)
Overall an average experience but would book again for the location and staff friendliness

Hotel was infested with bed bugs. They changed us from room three times and all three rooms had bed bugs. We were not given any refund back or any other option other than to stay in the third room that they provided. We all had rashes everywhere and could not sleep. We ask to speak to a Manager and were told their manager was on vacation. Would not recommend anyone to stay there.

The room was very small, and the bed was the smallest double I’ve ever seen. 2 people can hardly fit in it. Even though they offered cleaning everyday the rooms werent very clean.
The breakfast is not worth it, only ate 1 morning and I never went back.
The pool and sauna was okay but they didnt have any towels to provide… we had to go to our dripping wet.
Location was good, staff was very polite and helpful.
To be completely honest, I would not book again.

The service at the restaurant upstairs on the terrace was not good. When we arrived at the hotel restaurant, the gentleman that met us was aware we only wanted Tea so allowed us in - only to be told by the waiter that they don’t serve tea. We decided to leave but the gentleman that had allowed us in asked why we were leaving, we explained that we have been informed there is no Tea. He was surprised and tried to get us to stay. We explained we are staying at the hotel but shame we can’t even get tea. Not sure why he was surprised to hear we are staying there, he apologised and again tried to get us to stay but we declined. It is impossible they don't serve Turkish tea as it is sold everywhere.

Breakfast: I was given a dirty cup, informed them and they replied “I don’t speak English”. I said -you can see it is dirty.

The housekeeper knocked to come to clean the room but as I woke up to open for her/let her know I was not ready, she came in quickly and I was not even dressed. I was so embarrassed.

The rooms were dusty and require modernisation. Cobwebs behind the bed, white powder on the floor by bedside table and mouldy bathrooms by drainage area.

On the upside, the beds are so comfortable, water is hot and plenty of towels etc.

Amenities was also good - swimming pool & sauna. Steam room was out of order.

Location is great, lots of restaurants around, it is buzzing and has great vibes.

We stayed in the luxury condo for the entirety of our stay. It was very clean and Gulhane, the housekeeper was very attentive and kept everything clean for you. I stupidly turned my white cardigan blue and Gulhane offered to fix it for us and she magically turned it white again!! The room also had everything you needed, even a washing machine which was really helpful for us! The only thing I would say is that the pressure of the water wasn’t great and was very slow. The water also went cold after 5 mins. We had to turn on the kitchen sink tap for the hot water to kick in again which wasn’t ideal. The breakfast buffet was good but very limited and standard.

Sometimes it was hard to communicate with staff as they don’t know English that well so we had to use google translate most of the time. I feel that when tourists from different countries visit, it is really important for hotel staff to speak English in order to communicate with their guests well and provide excellent customer service. It wasn’t a major issue but it would have been beneficial.

The area of the hotel was very good with many food places around you and also Istiklal Caddesi which is literally only a 2 min away from the hotel. The Galata tower was also only 5-10 mins walk. A must visit when you stay.

But all in all, the hotel was amazing and so beautiful. It had everything we needed so I would definitely recommend staying here.

Not really a 4*. It could do with updating its decor.
The reception staff were friendly, not the spa though. Found them sleeping on chairs during the day. Not professional and were rude.
The Hotel could do with closing for a week and giving it a deep clean. Found black-mould in the en-suite and whirlpool.
The staff never cleaned the pool and Sauna facilities. The table in the sauna had the same cup marks for a week!
It was convenient being behind Istiklall St. Downside, the music in the evening till 2am. We decided to go and sit there instead of trying to sleep through it.
The mini bar fridge door kept falling off. The only mirror in the room was oddly placed near the bed. Not enough coat hangers. Did not want to use the drawers.
Thankfully I brought sanitizer to spray the whole room and en-suite, including the sheets and towels. Toilet was dirty on arrival.
The breakfast option was not really worth it. Found it was not up to standard. They don’t have enough crockery and glasses as they were being washed and replaced quickly without drying them. Not enough selection. Staff didn’t seem friendly.
The visit was during mid August. Maybe the service is better in a quieter period.

nice hotel, but weird spa rules

Ramazan was good & effective in checking us in. However, I have to sent someone a week before to check on our reservation, since when I called them I was told they couldn't verify the reservation number through Expedia. After about 20 mins they were able to find our reservations under our names, so should not have had someone checked our reservations we could have been waiting forever before checking in. Rooms are too small & a bit dirty. Our room was spacious because it was a suite, but still a bit dirty, TV doesn't work well, always no signal. Location is good at the end of Istiklal St. View from the breakfast place was gorgeous, our room was on 3rd floor, so even though we booked suite with sea view, didn't have that much of it.

On the good side, location is great, building is well maintained. Staff is experienced. On the not soo good side: when I went to the terrace and ordered something to drink and enjoy the view, it was not allowed to have anything else except water there. It didn't made sense to me. We had to go on the first floor even if to order tea. Also, the area near the terrace gets very dirty as it exposed to dust and needs better routine maintenance cleaning by wiping the surfaces more regularly.

I’d booked a superior single and was given Room 213 which is rear facing. Room was small but I soon got used to it. What was frustrating was the live music played in a nearby pub (I assume) every night until two in the mornings. That said staff were great and superb location to the high street.

Pros: very friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located. Free use of small pool, sauna, steamroom and basic gym was great and generally very quiet. Rooms cleaned daily with new towels, water and toiletries etc. Cons: small rooms with no view or breeze from the window. Bed too soft for me personally. Breakfast very basic. Overall I had a great stay and recommend this hotel. Thanks to Mutla, Murat and all the team.

Hidden Gem in an excellent location

We had booked this hotel because it is located just off the middle of the main shopping and entertainment area of Istanbul namely Istiklal Cadessi (Independance Avenue) which has been pedestriazed. Location of the hotel is just perfect for shopping, cuisine and night life. The night club 360Istanbul where we were planning to go couple of times is barely 2 minutes walk from the hotel. So this was perfect.

We did have some issues on the first night as room given to us was too small for comfort due to layout of the room. As we were too tired from a long journey, we just slept but did take up the matter with the hotel management and were promptly given another room, which we upgraded to sea view room.

Hotel amenities particularly Sauna, steam and pool were handy to de stress after long day out. Breakfast is typical continental with limited choice but good food.

We had planned to use taxis to go to different places so didn't use much of public transport but understand that Metro station can be reached by 10 minutes of walking. We did ride the Nostalgc tram on Istiklal but mainly as fun activity.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay and our thanks to front office manager for his personal care to ensure that we enjoy our stay at the hotel.

Very hospitable, charming hotel with great service

I arrived at the hotel pretty late in the evening. Was a very great first impression, the hotel is in a great area.. close to entertainment zones but still in a quiet little pocket. It was clean and inviting. The receptionist was very polite, friendly and so was the bellhop who assisted me with luggage. The Standard Single room was a bit small and faced the back and could hear noise from the clubs etc around, but I requested him to give me a bigger room with view of the front and he gladly obliged. Very good experience at the hotel and I definitely give it a thumbs up for any considering this option. It is within walking distance to Taksim square and Ifteqlal Street. Lots of tourist, nightlife and food close by.

Great service, great location, uncomfortable bed.

Nice hotel with great service in a great location. The room was fine but the bed was small and sagged on one side.
