The check-in took more than 15 min at the side window outside when the wind was blowing about 50 degrees outside. The door handle was so hard to open, so I have swipe the card multiple times to get in. Then, I found couple of cockroaches on the wall behind the TV crawling around. Knowing that the rate was economical, I then decided to keep my complaints to myself

The person in the front desk was not welcoming did not explain to me anything they didn’t tell me where my room was pretty much rude and dry.
The room needs fixing and cleaning the floors were still dirty. I had white socks on, and they were just black on the bottom of my socks, and there were roaches everywhere, I did not feel comfortable sleeping there so I left I checked out at 1 am .

I really hate to leave a bad review for a place, but just be aware: The room was adequate, the door locked, but beyond that it was a pretty miserable stay. Lumpy pillows, creaky mattress, lights didn't work well, and there were baby roaches running around all over the bathroom. At first I thought they were confused ants, but no. I'm grateful to not have encountered an adult member of the family, but totally unacceptable level of uncleanliness.

Good value in a great location
E-Z8 is a solid, no-frills, two-star property in an excellent location at good value rates. Their WiFi is an extra $6/day so use your own hotspot if you have one. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner too. The rooms have refrigerators but no microwave (one is available for the whole property in the laundry room.) The TVs are small with limited channels, but the rooms are quiet. It’s been an excellent commuter rental for me.

Upon initial checking room appeared to be fine. Later noticed smoke detector was on the table with no battery. When maintenance came for another issue, I showed it to him. He shrugged his shoulders & walked out. During my 3 nights, never returned. Last night, I discovered a dead roach on a shelf that has brown spots. Bedding, room, walls were clean. Door needs painting & furniture extremely worn. No free WiFi 😒

Shower handle came off in my hand. Luckily, I had a screwdriver in my backpack to repair. Otherwise, I'd have to get dress, walk around to the front desk as their are no phones in the room, though they advertise (I would of been late for my appointment). TV selections are poor. No guide or local channels for news. Thank God for personal devices. Rooms are painted nicely, but door & furniture looks beaten & worn.

As usual the hotel had roaches not as many as before but still had them. The inside of the refrigerator was rusted and had tape taped at the bottom I guess to keep it closed. The walk in shower floor was dirty. The sheets had black lent on it and the pillows looked like someone had already slept on them. As I laid in both beds because they had no singles it felt like something was biting on me most likely bed bugs although I couldn't see them I believe thats what the many mini stings on my body occuring through the night was. The vents were covered with dirt and lent I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone. The only reason I stayed here yet again because I had nowhere to go and it was the cheapest place around. I should have just paid the extra twenty dollars and went to a different hotel

One if the worst properties i have stayed in. Arrived 12.30am Monday 23rd June. My room was stinking of smoke, my pillow blankets. I complained front desk, they said they didnt have another room. I literary paid money not to sleep.

The place was very worn, walls patched in our room, paint on walls and around doorways worn. The glazing on the bathtub was all worn iff, we did not use the shower. The towels were very small and thin. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a gap around the door but the lock was secure. Carpet old and didn’t look clean. Would not stay there again.

I checked in around 5:30pm. I laid on the bed and it was like a trampoline. The bed was made but no bedspread or comforter. The tub was stained. It looked like it had flooded in there before. The walls were all rotten about 1-2\" above the baseboards. There was a faint odor of smoke in the room and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. I didn't sleep in there. Unfortunately, I lost my money for two nights as I slept elsewhere.

Parking was open with spots right by my room. But the shower did not work at all which was not discovered until shortly before I had to leave for a meeting. Extremely inconvenient and problematic. And the staff didn't believe me that it wasn't functioning. The AC was also broken leaving the room stuffy.

I booked in advance, but when they gave me the room, they gave me a room for disabled people because they didn't have any more. It was horrible and the bathroom had cockroaches. The walls had holes and were peeling paint. The bed was rusty and the floor around it was stained.
