The room had a huge burn on the wall from the hot plate, side of the microwave had dirt and grease caked on. Paint was bubbling and rippling on one wall. Toilet seat had a broken clip. Every drawer and cabinet was scratched and chipped. Coffee pot was empy both days--free breakfast consisted of granola bar and cheap muffins.

Room was disgusting, smelled terrible mold and mildew all over tge bathtub, bathroom smelled of sewer, hallways smelled of cigarettes even though it's non smoking, dishes I received were dirty, fridge was dirty, the didn't have cookware

Room is great, but got overcharged while check in. Contact Hotel.com and they refer me to contact the hotel directly. Contact CS from the hotel and they refer me to the Manager, where they stated they will contact me within 48 working hours. Very suspicious practice of running business.

Deal with this hotel at your own risk. We stayed in rm 151. My gf almost broke her back taking a shower. The showers and floors are extremely slippery and unsafe. The showers have nothing to grab on in case you slip. You better hope you have enough cushion if you fall. We addressed this to the staff and they were negligent and uncaring. Especially night shift staff member Mustafa(young Hispanic man.) When addressing this to the manager, we told him our feet have nothing to grip since the tub is smooth. There looked like there used to be a bath mat but not anymore. Jason (manager) wanted to excuse the towels to replace the bath mats. I told him how neglectful and risky that is and he blantantly responded with “sorry if you wanted a room with extra support, you would’ve needed to book a handicap room but unfortunately our standard rooms all come like this. There is really nothing I can do.”

For many people, hotels are more like a permanent stay. At Extended Stay America, guests come from all kinds of backgrounds and have all sorts of life stories. Compared to fancy hotels, my first experience here felt unique—it smelled like home, especially on the third floor that first night. It reminded me of my old neighborhood around dinner time, with families and pets nearby. The staff greeted me warmly, and the place felt safe and comfortable. I really hope more hotels like this open up in other areas—it would mean a lot to people like me. I’m always on the move, but also feel like I belong nowhere.

Terrible place to stay. I’m one of the least picky people in the world and I was extremely unsatisfied.
They didn’t have the room with two queens that I booked so we had to stay in room with a king and a pull out bed. There was almost no floor space because of this, and I cut my leg on the sofa bed frame. I told the lady at check-in that my girlfriend was going to be cooking me dinner in the room and she didn’t even bother to tell me that you have to ask for the cookware and all the utensils and plates so I had to go back down and get them. We had to wait for them to make up the sofa bed in the first room and then something went wrong and we had to come back down and wait for them to prepare a second room, and when we got to the second room, they still weren’t finished setting it up and we had to wait in the hallway for them to finish. The TV did not work and the front desk lady told us it needed to be on for 10 minutes and we waited about 30 minutes and it still would not work and the water in the bathtub after you turned it on it would not stop dripping so we had to switch rooms. Instead of calling us when the keys for the new room was ready like I asked, the lady came to the desk and wanted me to come to the new room with her to make sure everything was OK. This did not make sense because we didn’t complain about the view or the furniture, we just wanted a shower and TV that worked so her solution was to inconvenience us even more by making us go look at another room.
They didn’t have the room with two queens that I booked so we had to stay in room with a king and a pull out bed. There was almost no floor space because of this, and I cut my leg on the sofa bed frame. I told the lady at check-in that my girlfriend was going to be cooking me dinner in the room and she didn’t even bother to tell me that you have to ask for the cookware and all the utensils and plates so I had to go back down and get them. We had to wait for them to make up the sofa bed in the first room and then something went wrong and we had to come back down and wait for them to prepare a second room, and when we got to the second room, they still weren’t finished setting it up and we had to wait in the hallway for them to finish. The TV did not work and the front desk lady told us it needed to be on for 10 minutes and we waited about 30 minutes and it still would not work and the water in the bathtub after you turned it on it would not stop dripping so we had to switch rooms. Instead of calling us when the keys for the new room was ready like I asked, the lady came to the desk and wanted me to come to the new room with her to make sure everything was OK. I was under the impression that California had/has a law that requires hotels to properly clean and sanitize rooms. The room I stayed in, would have failed that environmental health inspection. Not only was the room, shower, and bed linen filthy but the stench of raid kept us coughing all night. For the amount of money that we willingly pay, they could have the decency to provide us with accommodations that don't negatively affect our (the public) health and welfare.
