They were infested with bed bugs. They were massive to the point I thought it was a beetle until I smashed it with a napkin and bloody came out. We checked the headboard and found an infestation. The hotel refused to refund us and even tried to say the bugs were already dead. They were not. We were left with nowhere to sleep and had to spend money for another hotel. We received refund 2 days later.

Extremely noisy location which I don’t really blame the staff for as it is located right next to a highway. But I didn’t realize until the morning I was leaving that they have a horrible bed bug infestation. I wish I would’ve notice sooner so that I could leave immediately now I have to throw out everything I had with me.

This was hands down the worst place I have ever visited. I ended up with over 5 bed bug bites, which is completely unacceptable and extremely distressing. When I reported it to the front desk, I was told they couldn’t do anything without the manager. It has now been over a week, and I still have not received a single call back from management.
On top of that, the floors were ice cold, there was random hair everywhere, and the bathroom reeked of an unpleasant odor. The overall cleanliness and response to a serious health issue were both severely lacking.
I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.

The hotel looked NOTHING like the photos on your website. It was rundown, dirty, holes in the acoustic ceiling tile, no wind it was boarded up with an air conditioner in the window. The place stunk of marijuana. They allow rooms to be rented by the hour which was disturbing. No one spoke English and when I tried to ask a question about public transportation all staff could tell me was gas station and pointed outside so we had to walk halfway up the block and ask the gas station attendants for help.

This was probably one of the worst hotel experiences that I’ve had! I would avoid at all cost, my room was as cold as it was outside and to add insult to injury there was no hot water, which by the way is against the law to not provide in nyc. The bad attitude having management didn’t want to give me another room, and magically I go back to my room and boom my key is deactivated… Hotels.com is aware of this, and they offered me 30 in one cash and told me in a manner of speaking the couldn’t care less, keep in mind I’m in a hotel a lot for work. There are plenty other hotels closer to e 149 in this price point I would go for one of those along with a different booking company!

Decent for the price

The property was decently maintained. Room and halls were clean. Parking area was cluttered and we saw rats. Bed was uncomfortable and the window was covered with a cling on sign so you couldn't see outside. The hotel is right next to a police precinct on one side and the Highbridge on the other. We were able to walk to Manhattan (Washington Heights). Site says 15 minute walk to Yankee Stadium but we chose to Uber. Would definitely stay again for the price and convenience (but will bring our own towels and bedding next time!).

Not adequate to be on expedia. For someone visiting, this place is terrible. No Wi-Fi, no mass transit near, and located on the highway. You must order a cab just to go grab a coffee, and good luck trying to do with no wifi. I booked the place for 5 days, but left after 3 nights. Booking is non-refundable, but I couldn't stay there any longer.

I pretty much spent 130$ for a parking spot overnight in an unsecured parking lot. This hotel felt dirty and neglected, and the area around it felt unsafe. The sheets were stained, there was no dead-bolt on the door, there was a sliding window that wasn't locked when we arrived (fortunately we noticed that it even opened - most hotels don't have windows you can open), the whole place smelled like marijuana and cigarette smoke and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. This hotel is right beside a police department, so there were sirens all night, and the walls seem paper-thin so you can hear people in the hallway at all hours of the night. Someone told us we were lucky we weren't murdered staying in this area of the Bronx. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone I care about.

Well, it was cheap and it served its purpose, but it was not very clean and just to name a few things, the toilet seat wasnt attached and the bathroom door was hanging by 2 hinges. The floors were kind of dirty and hairy, but on a good note we didnt see any bugs and it was convenient for a baseball game and again, the price was right.

Definitely didn’t read enough reviews before booking. Doors don’t have deadbolt or latch. Windows literally wouldn’t lock. Stains all over, moldy ceiling. Went to front desk after realizing the door had no latch and he couldn’t care less. My friends and I ended up just going out all night so we didn’t have to sleep there. Super don’t recommend if you’re a group of females and you’re wanting something safe. Definitely have hooker vibes

We didn’t even stay there. The hotel was not what it was advertised in the site. The full hallway was smelling like week and cigeratte smoke. The room was dark and smelly. When we went to the reception to ask if refund was available, there was a couple booking a room for 2 hours. I am not even sure why hotel.com has the hotel listed in the site. I am very much disappointed in the sute as well for listing such hotel in it’s booking site.

As an avid traveler i was expecting a far more better establishment than had been advisement on Expedia.

Once we arrived at the hotel, there was no designated parking for the off loading of luggage.
The parking deck (if you you want to call it that) was very small and congested.
Once i had checked into and proceeded to my assigned room; there was no elevator. Having to climb the stairs with luggage was a little challenging.
Once i entered the room i noticed immediately that the room was not what was advertised or quality for price that i had paid.

The issues are as followed:
1) Dark and Dingy
2) No adequate lighting
3) Smoke detector was missing
4) The Security chain and lock was broken
5) The bathroom was dirty and without towels

In summary: I checked out immediately and moved to another hotel with better accommodation and amenities.

In summary:
I would not recommend this hotel to any of my business clients, friends, or family members. I will be inquiring about receiving a full and complete refund

Unless you really need to stay here, don't. what worried me was when I requested a first floor room, they said they didn't have any because they are used for \"hourly renters\".
For what I paid, the room (they were finally able to get me a first floor room) was barely big enough for the bed, and hot water was not available.

The entire second floor smelled of marijuana smoke all three days I stayed there. The room and furniture were in poor shape. I could hear all noises from the traffic and people outside my widow which made it difficult to sleep. The hallways were not clean and had wet spots in several areas. I would not book here again.

The room isn’t even that bad (it was dirty besides the sheets and bathroom amenities though and there’s no real window you can see through) but the staff are disgustingly disrespectful. Oh my goodness. I will never stay here again. I know if it’s a class thing or a race thing, but if your budget can stand it, choose another hotel. These people are rude, especially to people of color, AS people of color and I wouldn’t even recommend a person off the street to sleep in this place with the way they throw things at you and ignore you when you approach the window respectfully. They continue conversations for MINUTES like you’re not even there (this was the lady). They don’t seem to think that people will tell them about themselves. I don’t give a damn how many rude people come in off the streets. You got you a respectful customer, you need to MATCH that respect. PERIOD. They ought to be ashamed of their performance.

If u choose double deluxe bedroom, thats the only thing that works when choosing a room. Two beds, air condition. at least that works. windows need to be revamped. they need less wallpaper. need more bathroom tissues, and there was remote control with batteries for the airconditioner was working, but the remore control for the tv was not working.

Giving this location 1 star was too much credit. When I checked in I noticed a lot of prostitution taking place in this hotel. Dirty, sheets, towels, wash cloths and the room. Some of the staff was so rude when asking for towels or wash cloths. (I utilized the towels to stand on when I showered. I wouldn’t suggest anyone stay at this establishment.
