It’s a place to sleep at. Nothing special about it. It’s more of a shotty motel transformed into a regular motel. The area looked really shady, but it was a place to stay. For the price point it made a lot of sense. You get what you pay for.

The room was smelly. It was very loud - every noise in the hallway was loud and there was a party in a nearby room. The pillows were hard and uncomfortable. There was only one bar of soap to use between the sink and the shower. The nightlight couldn’t be turned off. There was a big gap under the door to hallway, letting light and sound in.

The bathroom as so cold no heat source in bathroom- had to leave bathroom door open to get a little heat in there. Heard a lot of noise in the middle of night other guests in hallway. No direct access to rooms from lobby so this was a MOTEL low budget feel - not worth the cost at all. Very cheap place.

Overall, it was a very convenient and nice comfortable stay for two nights while visiting New York City.
Clean and comfortable room. Surprisingly quiet despite the location right off a busy road.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Their continental breakfast is limited, but OK. Keep in mind that you would have to walk few steps through outdoors to get to the breakfast area. Also, the building design is such that there are about 10 steps to get to any room.

Dangerous car access in and out of property to and from route 4- New carpet installation in the hallways full of acrid odor from carpet or adhesive- no ventilation, permeated the room .Terrible sleeping conditions- almost left property in middle of night. I realize this is an attempt to upgrade but is Saturday the best time to do this, and no ventilation to dissipate the fumes. Odd configuration- steep stairs to enter second floor hallway.

If you’ve ever wanted to know what it feels like to sleep inside a malfunctioning oven, congratulations — your search ends here. The thermostat was a cruel joke. No matter what we set it to, it cranked out heat like it was powering a steel mill. By 2 a.m., the air was thick enough to butter. We tried turning it off — it laughed and kept going.

By 5 a.m., we called the front desk begging for relief. They cheerfully informed us that “management doesn’t exist until after seven.” At 8:30 a.m., someone finally arrived, smiling politely but speaking no English, as we stood there drenched in sweat and delirium, pointing at the inferno like two survivors of a heat-based apocalypse.

If your idea of a getaway involves dehydration, heat stroke, and an existential crisis, this is your paradise. Otherwise, pitch a tent in the parking lot — it’s cooler, quieter, and probably cleaner.
