Have one elevator working to take people up and down 9 floors was ridiculous waited also 30 mins just to go down from the 5th floor while being 7 months pregnant other then that everything was great

The check in process was terrible. At 11pm we stood on a line for over an hour with one attendant doing all the check ins.

The room was clean however the bathroom wasn’t. There was a yellow urine stain under the toilet as well as hair on the floor. The tub was outdated with a shower head that wasn’t staying up.

The property is advertised with breakfast for two people and the manager was kind enough to extend it for my party of four. However, once we went to gather our plates, we were interrogated as to why we were getting so much food. I explained that it is for four people and was accused of turning in a ticket for one person. It was very uncomfortable and it made me not want to go back and get breakfast as they were standing there watching me prepare food for my children who were upstairs in the room. Then we went down to the pool and we were fully clothed and walked in towels, and we received horrible looks from the staff as if we were walking unclothed. I don’t know if I would stay here again.

This hotel looks much better in the pictures online. Was disappointed given that it was an IHG property. The pool area was the only part of the hotel that was true to photo. The beds were comfortable which was a plus. There was only one elevator working in the hotel and it was the same hotel that the staff needed to use for carts.

We got to the room and it took about an hour for the temperature to be at the proper level. The room was clean but I went with 4 other ladies and they had issues with the front door- the staff took a long time to finally agree and stitch rooms. My room was clean and neat- easy check in and out. Good location.

Staff was unprofessional. They were laughing at my inquiries and didn’t take me serious at all. Otherwise, room was clean and bathroom was clean, aging of the walls and carpet. Great place to stay for only one night just be mindful for the terrible customer service. A change of staff would be appreciable.

We let the hotel know our daughter got bit by bed bugs. It has been over a week and no one has gotten back to us. This hotel needs renovations and also seems to have structure issues. The columns have severe cracks. New pictures of this location is a must. The elevator was not working properly preventing someone with a wheelchair to have a hard time trying to get out into the floors. You had to step up. Hope that makes sense.

The outside of the hotel does not appear to be well maintained. Inside, the lobby looks nice but, the check-in desk didn’t really stand out. The room was decent, but the bathroom needs some remodeling. For one night, it was okay but we did not use any of the amenities. If it wasn’t for the surge due to the Wold Cup, it definitely wasn’t worth the price.

It’s good enough for quick stays.. hotel itself is a bit on the older side.. our room’s bath tub needed an upgrade as well as the room carpets. Room had a “stuffy” smell , room lighting was on the dimmer side and the carpet looked/felt dirty because of its design/color. They need an upgrade.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The hotel is very outdated and in need of major renovations. The carpets throughout the property were stained and showed significant wear, which made the hotel feel unclean and neglected.

Sleep was nearly impossible because a guest on our floor had dogs that barked throughout the day and into the evening, creating constant noise and disruption. The overall condition of the hotel, combined with the noise issues, made for an unpleasant experience.

This property has potential, but it desperately needs updates, better maintenance, and improved management of noise disturbances to provide guests with a comfortable stay. I would not choose to stay here again.

Complementary breakfast only if added to your stay and it only is for 2 people. Elevator is a bit slow but it gets you to your room. Older TV does not connect to your phone but to kill time it's usable I enjoyed 3 movies basic cable I believe. Food is decent had breakfast and dinner there on my 1st day. Staff is polite and very helpful. Plenty of soap shampoo and conditioner provided not those tiny soaps you usually get vert grateful. Air conditioner is not so cold at night im use to a cold room so had trouble sleeping on 1st day. Housekeeping is great 👍. If you choose stairs beware they a bit creepy 😆. Lights are sensor so they turn on while you walk 🚶‍♀️ and behind you they turn off. Phone is provided in room if needed. Beds are comfortable. For my stay the hotel met my expectations. I would come again. There's a pool and a small gym I didn't have time to try but all looks decent.

The Crown Plaza, Englewood NJ is a well kept property and the staff is excellent. New A/C system, comfortable king bed and clean. The property is strategically located only 15 minutes or so from the GW Bridge and very close to the Englewood business district.

The front desk manager Alysia is excellent along with her two colleagues. Reasonably priced and worth the stay!

The room was comfortable as was the hotel overall. Unfortunately we had to visit the front desk at least once daily if not each time we returned to our rooms as our electronic keys did not work. It became increasingly frustrating over our five day stay there. The front desk staff did not offer any advice except to say to keep the keys away from credit cards, phones etc which we did. We have never experienced this at any other hotel that we have stayed at and would have appreciated a resolution to the issue by the staff who seemed to be aware of the issue without offering a fix for it. Other than that, it was a convenient location for us with easy parking and a comfortable room.

The reason I’m was worn and in need of a refresh. Carpet was stained in multiple areas. Bathroom tub/shower was chipped with some mildew in the corners, mirrors were faded, lighting was marginally acceptable. Rooms are priced accordingly.

When I arrived at the hotel with my family, I was told by the receptionist that my reservation was for the following day and not that day! It was a shock, but I had made a mistake when I made the reservation.
The receptionist was very kind and helpful and was able to change my non-refundable reservation to the same day after talking to the Expedia customer service.
I would like to thank him again for making a smooth transition without any interruption on our trio plans.

The hotel needs an upgrade, outdated. Rooms are large and bright compared to tiny rooms in Manhattan. No complimentary water in rooms, TV doesnt have smart functions. Hotel is close to George Washington bridge, but you need to figure out how to commute to Manhattan. You can use jitney route, which is close. I wasn't informed a shuttle service from hotel to Bridge but that can be real game changer if exists. Price is reasonable. So lots,of room for improvement, cpuld be better.

Your elevator does not line up with the floor. I nearly fell. The property does not have an umbrella for inclement weather. We also had a key problem every time we tried to get in our room. And the shower is rusty. I was very disappointed. I stayed in countless hotels and this was the worst experience!

Was pleasantly surprised by size of room very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable but why no safe in the room?
Fan in bathroom very loud complained twice but no joy in resolving. Lifts were a bit iffy and in need of maintenance. Had breakfast once and the selection leaves a lot to be desired compared to other hotels I have stayed in.
This hotel has lots of potential and there are some easy wins just needs someone to get them done.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before, but this visit was extremely disappointing.
First, there was a strong moldy smell in the room. In addition, there was a loud party taking place in the room next to mine, continuing until 5 or 6 a.m. The guests kept their door open, smoked marijuana in the hallway, drank heavily, and played extremely loud music using what sounded like nightclub-level speakers. As a result, I was unable to sleep for more than half of my stay.
Each time this occurred, I contacted the front desk and requested assistance, but no immediate or effective action was taken. I also requested a room change multiple times, both in person and via message. Although I was repeatedly told that it would be handled, my room was never changed. It appeared that there was a lack of communication between staff, as some mentioned they were unaware of my previous requests.
I made at least 10 to 15 complaints during my stay, but the situation was never properly resolved. It also felt as though the hotel may have changed ownership, as the overall management system and service quality were noticeably different from my previous experiences.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not consider staying at this hotel again.

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room felt very outdated, and the carpet was visibly dirty with numerous stains. Additionally, there was noticeable damage in the bathroom, including a missing chunk of tile. The photos online made the hotel appear much more updated and well-maintained than what we experienced in person.

On our second night, the room directly across from us (Room 406 and the fourth floor lobby by the elevators) hosted a very loud party that continued well past 11:00 PM. I initially attempted to contact the front desk using the room phone, but it was not functioning. I then called from my personal phone, but the call was disconnected. I ultimately went to the front desk in person to file a noise complaint; however, no action appeared to be taken, and the disturbance continued until approximately 3:00 AM.

Staff were friendly, but the condition of the room and the lack of response to a significant noise issue made for a frustrating experience.

Room was visibly dirty and not vacuumed (found false eyelashes on floor, shower floor had hairs, smudges on table and counter surfaces, hole in bathroom door. Bed itself was clean and comfortable. Encountered few staff. Check in was easy. Coffee/tea was not replenished (only one coffee cup for a stay for 2 people). It was alright for one night but don’t plan to return for accommodations.

The facilities were clean, but my biggest issue was that my room’s shower had no hot water. I reported it and had to call three to four times for assistance, but no one ever came. At 10:45 PM, they told me to switch rooms, which wasn’t possible since I was traveling with two small children after a very long trip. Instead of resolving the issue or sending someone to fix it, they left us without a solution. I also requested some form of compensation for the inconvenience, but they refused. In the end, I was stuck with cold water and no compensation.

You can tell it ised to be a very nice peoperty back in the day. However the front lobby looks dated and there is a stale smell in the front lobby. You can tell they tried to update the roooms but the carpet was very dingy and the bathrooms looked outdtaed. The water presure was terrible and our toilet stopped working in the middle of the night due to a broken water pump. The room also had a stale mess. Lastly, the pool was closed dur to maintenance whiwh was not divulged on the Hotels.com website. This was very disappointing because we were traveling with 3 children for Spring Break which the indoor pool was our main reason for choosing the hotel. Overall, the hotel isnt terrible. It is good for the price but the online pics and high reviews definetly hyped the palce more than it was. The best part of the stay were tje friendly, professional, extremely responsive hotel staff and their willingnes to make the guests happy and respond to issues.

Swimming pool was closed for maintenance on both days that we were at the hotel. Bathroom floor had a tile pattern that looked like it was dirty. There was an air filter below the thermostat that wasn't properly covered. Otherwise, conditions were fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet that came with the room.

The hotel is okay at best. They do not offer room service, so after a long day don’t expect for anyone to bring you food. You’ll have to walk down to get it. And while you’re at it, get some bottled waters because there is none in the room. The tv is so old, there’s cracks all throughout the bathroom it’s just a very dated hotel but the outside and dining area looks pretty good.

My room was nice. Beds were comfortable and shower pressure was great. The hotel its self was a little outdated. My biggest issue was the pool was closed for maintenance, the gym was off site (the the gym the partnered with was amazing) and was closed when we arrived, and the breakfast I paid extra for was the worst continental breakfast I’ve had. We ended up doordashing our second morning instead of getting the breakfast. I did like that they had a wide selections of drinks and snacks available for purchase. This was a great location to stay for my daughter to run at the armory instead of staying downtown time square like we had the past two years. Quick drive to Washington heights where parking was way cheaper. I would stay here again just would not pay for breakfast.

We were very disappointed with our reservation, since we learned 2 hours after our check in, that the pool wasn’t open at all, we rented this hotel just because of the pool because it was my daughter school vacation and she likes to stay at hotels and enjoy the amenities, we had to change our plans and spend extra money with extra activities to compensate this weekend.
