My room was nice. Beds were comfortable and shower pressure was great. The hotel its self was a little outdated. My biggest issue was the pool was closed for maintenance, the gym was off site (the the gym the partnered with was amazing) and was closed when we arrived, and the breakfast I paid extra for was the worst continental breakfast I’ve had. We ended up doordashing our second morning instead of getting the breakfast. I did like that they had a wide selections of drinks and snacks available for purchase. This was a great location to stay for my daughter to run at the armory instead of staying downtown time square like we had the past two years. Quick drive to Washington heights where parking was way cheaper. I would stay here again just would not pay for breakfast.

We were very disappointed with our reservation, since we learned 2 hours after our check in, that the pool wasn’t open at all, we rented this hotel just because of the pool because it was my daughter school vacation and she likes to stay at hotels and enjoy the amenities, we had to change our plans and spend extra money with extra activities to compensate this weekend.

The hotel was nice. Clean. The only issues is that the tv is out of date. I was unable to watch any apps like Netflix. The cable had only a few channels. I was looking forward to relaxing and watching a few movies. The bathroom made a lot of noise. Besides that everything was good. The breakfast was nice. Some of the staff was nicer than others. This was 7out of 10 for me.

The bathroom was disgusting.
The bathtub was clogged and the water was backing up, and the sink was clogged as well.
The overall condition of the bathroom was very old and dirty.
I won’t even mention the heating system: it was far too hot, and when we tried to lower it even slightly, the air became cold, which was unacceptable for the children.
I am extremely disappointed, and this will be the last time we stay at this establishment.

This room was terrible. The bathroom was rusty, appeared to have mold, and there was no fan to ventilate the bathroom when the shower was on. The staff overnight at the front desk was so rude, the tall Caribbean man. There was another guest who complained about him as well, so I knew I wasn’t overreacting. This property is terrible and they should be ashamed. From how he treated me when I had questions about the heating in the room, I was scared to complain.

**BEDBUGS found after bites started showing up on my wifes lower back. We had to check out at 1am and front desk recieptionist told us we could speak to the manager the next day for a refund but they wouldnt pick up any of our calls so we had to go directly through expedia who then told us we cant get in contect with the manager until MONDAY… we even have proof of the bed bug eggs with date time and location…other than that location is severely out of date and run down. We were not offered any other solutions and just had to leave with no remedy to the situation.

Hotel could use an update and some maintenance: 2 of 3 treadmills were not working well, fitness room super cold, 1 toilet in off-lobby bathroom did not flush, luggage carts a little gimpy for example. But, overall a good, comfortable stay, and with some touchups would easily be a 5-star hotel and experience.

The staff was especially the front desk man in the evenings is absolutely a gem.
He was the highlight of the hotel. The water pressure was great too and the pool looks really nice and wasn’t cold (we just dipped our feet in).
Unfortunately our room was so-so. We couldn’t get the temperature to be a comfortable temperature so that was frustrating and it got very stuff easily. The room we were in was across from the laundry room and in the middle of the night the phone kept ringing, very loudly so that kept me up. Plus the beds and pillows weren’t the greatest. Oh and apparently the desserts are very old and some customers got sick off them and been complaining to the front desk about it. Hopefully that gets fixed because the restaurant is actually separate from the hotel believe or not. Despite the desserts in the area to buy; we got a dinner at the restaurant, and the food was decent. I can’t complain, we enjoyed it and has a very nice atmosphere.
It was fine for an over night stay.
The highlights was the front desk man, our dinner in the quiet diner that is there, and spending time with each other to see the botanical garden show, which is highly recommended!

The cleaning and housekeeping service was disappointing — during the six days, it was done properly only about one day. They mostly just changed the towels and emptied the trash. Pool down for maintenance, breakfast a bit blah

This hotel was picked for proximity to NY (karate tournament in NY)and looked like a great pool for the kids to unwind after a long day. Highly disappointed to get there just to find out the pool was closed for maintenance and wouldn't be running the whole weekend. An email ahead of time would've been nice as we were a larger group with 6 kids, multiple young adults and parents. Breakfast was extremely basic and was expecting a bit more for the extra price. Plenty of parking and easy access to get to highways. Didn't try the restaurant, the bar was also closed the whole weekend. Showers could use an overhaul and wallpaper/paint in rooms was bubbling off.

The room had a strong smell. The microwave in the room was filthy with odor.
The phone in the room was not working. The switch for the lights by the bed was not working had to turn light bulb by hand. My grandson face breakout from the dirty carpet. Asked to speak to manager was told she was not there to leave my name and number so she may give me a call. She never called.
