The room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good. French toast, omelets, and pancakes were not included in the buffet. They could be ordered separately. (Ex: French toast was $12.) One thing we were very disappointed with was that the hot tub was out of order and has been out of order since last year. This was not mentioned anywhere on the website.

The room was wonderful. The hotel workers were completely kind and helpful for ecery question and every request. Mr. Felix was helpful during check in and all the ins and outs of questions had by a first time stay at the location traveling all the way from the midwest. All the common areas were decorated nicely and kept clean. The pool was fun and the fitness room in tact. Breakfast had a wide variety. Really, it was such a wonderful experience; I can see coming again the next time I visit.

When we arrived , the room smelled like cigarettes smoke in a non- smoking room. It was horrible. The bathroom had a sewage odor. The hotel was at its capacity so there were no rooms to change to that evening. There was no hot water in the shower the next morning. The heat was not working well, so it was cold. We had the worse night stay at the Hilton.

The room was average. The heating system was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep. I had to turn it off and sleep without heat due to the noise. As Hilton Honors members, we received two complimentary bottles of water; otherwise, they would have cost $3 each. Check-in took longer than anticipated. The front desk staff mentioned that their system needs to be updated “like everything else around here,” which unfortunately set the tone and expectations for the rest of the stay.

We always stay at Hilton hotels. This was one of the first that we've stayed at that wasn't up to par. The heat was either really hot or blowing cold air. There we no hand soap in the bathroom. The pool room was freezing but the water was warm thankfully. We really wanted a hot tub but were disappointed to see they covered it with flooring. They should remove hot tub from list of amenities. Finally, our minivan bottomed out on the entrance driveway to the hotel and the whole bottom of van was scraped.

Staff were great, especially during snowstorm. The room needs an upgrade, the heater sounded like it was eating marbles when it kicked on and didnt get very warm. A lot of other hotels have upgraded to smart tvs. Room just overall rundown. The pool was great most of the time but the last day it was ice cold, there is no longer a hot tub as advertised on expedia. Plowing from the storm was subpar, most spaces unusable due to a foot of snow, doesnt seem like plow ever came back after height of storm.

This is my third stay at the Ridgefield Park Hilton. I will be back. The place itself is basic, but it is immaculate and well kept up. The staff is lovely, wonderful very helpful and courteous. I want to especially shout out the front desk staff by the name of Felix. He is a lovely helpful person to deal with and I look forward to seeing him every time I come he actually remembered that I needed an ADA room and when he saw my name, he had set it aside and I had not been this since October so I was very very impressed.

The most disappointing part was when the fire alarm went off in the early morning, forcing us to evacuate to the first floor. (Fortunately, it turned out to be nothing serious.) The explanation and response were severely lacking.

My family & I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Ridgefield Park while we were visiting NYC for a couple days. Overall the staff was friendly & welcoming & we appreciated having a comfortable place to stay during our trip. However, there were a few things I wanted to mention for awareness. When we first arrived, there was a very strong odor in the main lobby that we later realized seemed to be coming from one of the employees working the front desk area. It was quite overwhelming as we were checking in. We also used the pool and the pool water itself was warm but the pool room had cold air blowing pretty strongly which made it uncomfortable& it being winter could potentially get people sick. When we returned to our room afterward, we noticed there were no bath towels at all so while still wet from the pool we had to go get some from the front desk since housekeeping was gone for the day. The next morning, we went down for breakfast & paid the buffet price of $12/person. While most of the staff were very kind, my husband was scolded by the cook for taking two scoops of scrambled eggs and was told “easy on the eggs bud we don’t have much more” even though it was a fresh batch &breakfast still had about an hour remaining. That interaction felt unnecessary& the food itself wasn’t quite what we expected for the price. Aside from those concerns the rest of the staff was great& the stay itself was fine. With a few improvements this hotel could really offer a better experience.

My friends and I had a great time staying here for a week. The location is very accessible to bus going to NYC. The rooms are very spacious. The breakfast was good although I wish they could have more options. Staff were very accommodating. Special Kudos to FELIX! We’ll surely comeback to Hilton Garden.
