The room was okay. Stains on the carpet but no big deal. I stayed at this hotel last month and had a great experience, this time was the complete opposite. Between contacting the hotel directly and Hilton customer service, I was told I did not have a reservation although I had a reservation number from experian and the customer service rep was playing a whole guessing game with me and telling me I did not book it through Expedia . Then I’m transferred to so many different representatives and no one could help me to the point I would get transferred to someone else mid convo and back to the front desk who hung up on me cause he was too busy.

Rooms are good. Many of the amenities require Hilton Honors membership. We took advantage of the trial period to use the WiFi and such. But breakfast is only included with the Honors membership. Rooms are nice. Pool has no hot tub, but they do have a gym. Very friendly staff and rooms are spacious and quiet.

Room was clean, beds were uncomfortable and pillows were flat, we also asked housekeeping for extra towels and didn’t get any as requested, had to pay for breakfast , parking was easy and felt safe , coffee in lobby was nice, pool was very cold, it was nice to have snacks for purchase, the hotel was near a park which was great for kids and activities/ exercise, Fabian was very great and always checked in with us.

It is okay to stay. The rooms bit noisy due to Highway and not much barriers from the morning sunshine. However what is funny was I was told from the Front when checking in that breakfast buffet servers in the morning. Turned out it was not free at all. Didn't pay attention It was NOT FREE and grabbed one small peace of cookie size of pie, and we had to pay $25. Remember there is no free Breakfast!

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Ridgefield Park for my birthday, and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

We checked in around 8 PM as a family—my husband, my 5-year-old son, my 80-year-old grandmother, and myself (currently pregnant). From the start, we were placed in a room right next to the elevators, which produced extremely loud and constant mechanical noise throughout the night. It was unbearable. On top of that, the AC in the room was not working, making the situation even more uncomfortable—especially given my pregnancy and my elderly grandmother’s needs.

By around 10 PM, after realizing we wouldn’t be able to sleep, I called the front desk to request a room change. I was told there were no rooms available, which I later found to be untrue, as rooms were still listed online. It felt like we were not offered a solution simply because alternative rooms may have been more expensive. I would have gladly paid the difference if it had been offered—sleep and comfort for my family were far more important.

We ended up not sleeping at all that night. It was incredibly frustrating, exhausting, and honestly ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday stay. To make matters worse, when I reached out afterward, the hotel refused to issue a refund and instead offered just $25 in reward points. After paying $215 for a night we couldn’t even rest, this felt dismissive and unacceptable.

This experience was a complete waste

Horrible, will never stay there again. Asked for early checkin, did not get into room until 3:35pm. Card for room did not work twice. No restaurant in hotel. Front desk personnel had no manners. I had to give a 50.00 deposit while the room was paid in full. Never had to do that, this was a first.....will never go back to that hotel again. Very dissatisfied

The whole experience was blah. The woman who greeted us looked downcast and tired. A warm smile and a bit of enthusiasm would have been nice. She told us the room did not include breakfast, although we hadn’t asked. She might have pointed to the coffee stand which we hadn’t noticed and suggested we help ourselves. She might have said something nice about breakfast, described it briefly, and mentioned the price. In addition, a nicely worded brief description of the breakfast on a card in our room, describing it and noting the price, would have been nice. The first thing that greeted us when we opened our room door were two bottles of water and a sign saying they cost $3.00 each! Given that we paid over $200.00 for a very ordinary room, how much nicer it would have been to read a sign that said: “Hilton Hotels welcome you! Please enjoy this water, complements of us! We hope you will come again!” The sign in the parking lot admonishing us to lock our car doors could have been worded in a much nicer way. I actually remarked to my husband about the sign as we arrived and parked, saying how unfriendly and nasty it sounded. We chanced upon a lovely cleaning lady in the elevator with whom we exchanged a few words. She gave us a gorgeous smile and wished us a lovely stay. It seemed to come from the bottom of her heart. The hotel’s lobby was nice and airy. The bed was good. Everything functioned well, except the ice maker on our floor; it was broken. A total blah experience.

Friday night we had no hot water. Room was very warm and unable to cool. My one guilty pleasure when away from home is HGTV. You didn't have it. Saturday morning no hot water. Left for daughter's regetta. Got back late afternoon. Room was 75'. Attempted to cool and temp rose to 76'. We were moved across hall to room 401. But lady at front desk made it as if it were out fault 😳Much cooler right away. No where to charge phone. Come on!! Why?!?!? Shower was finally hot. Very noisy!Rooms were clean. That's about the only plus. I'll give you a 2.

We had a great stay the room we stayed was clean as expected for a Hilton Hotel. The staff were very helpful and accommodating from the front desk to the house keeping staff. The pool was open and working during our stay. The area is very close to the freeway which was the only complaint we had due to the traffic noise. Overall great stay and not disappointing.

(Ex: French toast was $12.) One thing we were very disappointed with was that the hot tub was out of order and has been out of order since last year. This was not mentioned anywhere on the website.

The room was wonderful. The hotel workers were completely kind and helpful for ecery question and every request. Mr. Felix was helpful during check in and all the ins and outs of questions had by a first time stay at the location traveling all the way from the midwest. All the common areas were decorated nicely and kept clean. The pool was fun and the fitness room in tact. Breakfast had a wide variety. Really, it was such a wonderful experience; I can see coming again the next time I visit.

When we arrived , the room smelled like cigarettes smoke in a non- smoking room. It was horrible. The bathroom had a sewage odor. The hotel was at its capacity so there were no rooms to change to that evening. There was no hot water in the shower the next morning. The heat was not working well, so it was cold. We had the worse night stay at the Hilton.

The room was average. The heating system was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep. I had to turn it off and sleep without heat due to the noise. As Hilton Honors members, we received two complimentary bottles of water; otherwise, they would have cost $3 each. Check-in took longer than anticipated. The front desk staff mentioned that their system needs to be updated “like everything else around here,” which unfortunately set the tone and expectations for the rest of the stay.

We always stay at Hilton hotels. This was one of the first that we've stayed at that wasn't up to par. The heat was either really hot or blowing cold air. There we no hand soap in the bathroom. The pool room was freezing but the water was warm thankfully. We really wanted a hot tub but were disappointed to see they covered it with flooring. They should remove hot tub from list of amenities. Finally, our minivan bottomed out on the entrance driveway to the hotel and the whole bottom of van was scraped.

Staff were great, especially during snowstorm. The room needs an upgrade, the heater sounded like it was eating marbles when it kicked on and didnt get very warm. A lot of other hotels have upgraded to smart tvs. Room just overall rundown. The pool was great most of the time but the last day it was ice cold, there is no longer a hot tub as advertised on expedia. Plowing from the storm was subpar, most spaces unusable due to a foot of snow, doesnt seem like plow ever came back after height of storm.
