So, had I realized that the online photos weren't true to reality.
Once we found the sign (which needs better placement/lighting at night!) and pulled in off the busy road - the parking area looked limited.

Husband dropped at front door and I checked in to ensure right place and asked about parking - that was it in the front.

It looked obvious that work was being done in the hotel however our room wasn't one that they had done yet.

First, it was soooooo hot when we went in - turned heat all the way down and at one point in the night, off because we couldn't sleep.

Though the room wasn't disgusting, it was just ok. The showerhead was pulled away from wall and there was plaster coming down from ceiling.

And there is only one elevator to reach the various floors; kind of tiny and disappointing. Will not be back.

This hotel was horrible, it is directly off of an on-ramp so you don’t see it till last minute. The exterior of the building was pretty ugly even excluding the construction. The lobby was small and felt like you were in a run down hotel. The elevator was dirty and once I got to the third floor you just see a bunch of signs for rooms saying they are closed for construction. While walking to my room I saw one of the doors looked like it was kicked in by someone trying to break in. My room was filthy the bathroom had water marks on the ceiling, the ceiling fan was dusty. Everything looked out dated. The closest wasn’t even aligned currently, the windows had grime all over it. The bed was even worse, it had some women’s hair still on it, pubic hair, some sort of stains or mold, or both? Not too sure. Worst of all there was a bright yellow urine stain on the bed cover. I packed up told the lady there what I saw and she told me to contact the booking agency and that I could leave. So I had to contact them to even get a refund and I had to find a new hotel.

I did not stay at that hotel. I paid, but I did not like the room. It was unacceptable — dirty sheets, a filthy room, and a very bad smell. This is a serious public health concern. I don’t even know what to call that place. I asked for a refund, but they refused. I let it go because they won’t get rich with that money. Because of this situation, I had to make a new reservation at another hotel. We were very disappointed, but at least we are now in a better place.

For the price, it is good choice for New York visiting. very convenient location to take public transportation to time square , just 5 min. Walking to bus station, and 20 min bus ride with $4.1 fare can take you arriving central of manhattan. Front desk is friendly, the building is old but they are doing maintenance construction. We spent almost all the time in New York City just came back for sleep, so everything is ok for me.

The hotel it’s under construction, it’s very dirty and moldy. There is a lot of mattresses around the hotel and in the hallway. When I got into the room the strong smell of mold was very noticeable. Staff very rude, I had to book another hotel because the conditions were unacceptable. I still waiting for my refund.

The hotel is very old and in terrible condition. Everything looked dirty and poorly maintained. The building was under renovation, and we were not informed about it when we made the reservation. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the bathroom was dirty, and the shower curtains were filthy. It was a big disappointment. The only good thing was the staff — they were kind and helpful, but unfortunately, that doesn’t make up for the rest of the experience.

My friend and I didn't even end up staying here. We booked it because it looked nice from the photos and the reviews were good. When we got there, the receptionist wasn't friendly and barely spoke English. The lobby, elevator, hallways, and our room smelled heavily of stale smoke when our room was to be smoke free. For these reasons, we did not stay. The photos online were VERY misleading.

There was mold in the corners of the wall by the closet the window sills were covered in mold. The last guests wash cloth and hair were still in the bathtub. The last straw was when I saw roaches by the microwave and dresser. It was disgusting and I would never recommend this hotel.

The place was really run down and the rooms were not clean at all. There were stains on basically all the towels we were given, the carpet was disgusting as well. The curtains were ripped to pieces and stained too.
I'm aware that it is a relatively cheap hotel for the area but I stil expected a relatively clean environment.
The area around is pleasant with a grocery store and some restaurants around, as well breakfast place with good pricing. Transportation into New York was also fine with a 20 min bus ride to Time Square.

The hallways smell like piss and cigarettes but I guess I should expect that since it was cheaper than most hotels especially compared to NYC where I was visiting. This was the closest affordable option for me. The service was just ok. I had a problem with the bathtub my first night there, it was draining slowly so I told the front desk and she was rude about helping me but she had someone there to fix it within 20 minutes. It was pretty nasty, the things that were coming up the drain, peoples hair and possibly body fluids. I couldn't stay through the whole thing because the plumber had to get something else to clear the drain and I had to get to my appointments. When I got back it was fixed and the tub was cleaned. Other than that I slept well and there were stores and restaurants nearby that you can easily get to on foot if you have no car. Most people would find this hotel gross but when you're broke like me you will ignore the negatives and just be grateful you didn't have to spend $300 per night on a better hotel.

The elevator doors open before reaching the floor. One light could not be turned off, but lamp would not come on. There were nails sticking out of the wall. Dingy room; gross lumpy pillows; mattress torn with stuffing coming out that looked like something was living in it; windows filthy; loud, because the room was on a 6 lane highway; difficult to get into the property from a 50MPH exit from highway; overall disgusting. Didn't want to use the shower. Overall really nasty. Would NOT recommend, even if you're desparate!

When we checked into the hotel and entered our room, we immediately noticed a strong, unpleasant odor. Concerned, we inspected the bed and found a bedbug on the pillow. At that point, we left the room right away and informed the hotel staff. While they offered to move us to another room, we were extremely concerned about the risk of bringing bedbugs home with us, which could have cost us hundreds of dollars to treat. Because of this, we decided not to stay.

This was an OK room for a family of 4. The room was big and confortable, however, the hotel stunk of smoke and the bath was not working well.
We came here for a trip to NYC, parking was free, public transit was 15min to Time Square, Cable TV was nice to finish the evening.

Dirty Hotel in a Great Location

The hotel states it was recently renovated. This is one of the dirtiest hotels I ever stayed in my life. The luggage cart was so dirty that I had to put newspapers on it before I would put my luggage on it.

The walls in the room and bathroom were dirty. The a/c was cold in the room, but there's no a/c in the hallways on the 3rd floor. There's only one elevator in the whole hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It's only a few minutes walk to the bus stop to take buses to New York City.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone.

There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hallways and inside the room, which was extremely uncomfortable. The bathtub was not only dirty but also clogged, making it impossible to take a proper shower.

The bed linens were in an unacceptable condition – visibly soiled with feces and semen stains. When I asked to have the sheets replaced, I was told that no blankets were available.

The hotel does not provide drinking water, which is a basic necessity. Furthermore, the room and all common areas were filthy, showing a clear lack of cleanliness and maintenance.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I strongly advise the management to address these serious issues immediately.

We were a family of four stayed there no problem. ai will say the entrance is trifky when exiting the ramp its right there so prepare to slow down very fast or exit slowly with your blinker on

Bad experience staying at this hotel. Rude lady in the check in. Not clean. We stay there to assist to an event, when we came back after 12 at night, elevators were not working and the stair going up were dusty, insecure with weird people going up and down stairs...

We were planning a trip to New York. Our first confirmed reservation thru hotels.com was canceled 3 days before our arrival left us in a situation upon arrival. The second reservation was changed from New York to New Jersey. We caught it at the last minute and had to make other arrangements. We are waiting on a refund.
