Not only is this hotel insanely noisy, it is dirty and rundown.

Our room had a mysterious white stain on one of the bed frames that looked suspiciously like body fluid, there was water damage on the ceiling that had just been painted over, the toilet was not fixed to the bathroom floor and slid around, and there were mystery holes in the wall. Also, the door did not close properly, and there was a light coming from around the entire door. We ended up propping the iron board up against the door and jamming a coat hanger in the handle to feel a semblance of safety.

The hotel lobby and elevator reeked of cigarette smoke and the elevator had no security so anyone can access the entire building.

There is construction all around the hotel, so to get to the nearest bus stop, you have to walk uphill through various construction zones.

We booked a stay here for five nights and ended up leaving after the first night to find another hotel. When I told the man at the reception desk that we would be checking out early he did not ask why or offer any sort of compensation. He acted like this was a normal occurrence for this hotel.

I do not recommend staying here. The location is terrible and the hotel feels incredibly unsafe and dirty.

The room was clean. Staff was very nice. It was a little difficult to unload the luggage cart due to the narrow entryway into the hotel room. The back entrance was not labeled well enough. We missed it the first time. The parking lot is difficult to navigate. It’s on a hill. It could use better signage that the check-in is on the front side not the most used entry.

The bed was very comfortable very nice feature of having a fireplace in the room that was new and unexpected. The tile in the bathroom was very beautiful.

The hotel location is pretty good. For my week's stay though, the water in the shower was lukewarm, every day, in very cold weather. The breakfast is poor quality, no variety, mouldy bread. On checking in, I was charged extra per day for a safe I wasn't going to use, and I had to argue that it wasn't a cost I was prepared to pay, I hadn't been told upfront. Room cleaning was good, but doing it at 9am some days was really annoying. Reception staff pretty glum, and not friendly.

I arrived to check in at 1:15 p.m. They told me that check-in started at 2 p.m., but that for $35 they could check me in 45 minutes early. I believe that if the room is already available, offering that courtesy without charging would be reasonable. On the contrary, they made it very clear that checkout was strictly at 11 a.m. with no possibility of extension.

Overall an okay experience! A big plus was the shuttle service to NYC but be prepared to use the cheaper one which is about 8 minutes up the road and a 15 minute walk back. The front desk was very good in explaining the details and where to go. On the not so bright side, we did find a roach in our bathroom. But the room was pretty nice. Not bad for wanting an affordable trip close to the big apple!

Good and value for money. The rooms are decent and clean. I had a low expectation so there is no disappointment for me. Parking is Free. Staffs are good. They clean every day. Breakfast is fine. Location is close to shuttle service that takes you to Manhattan.

The rooms were very nice. The parking wasn’t the best, but at least we had a parking spot even though we were a little bit worried because the guy that was working the night shift told us that they were about to tow cars and was questioning the cars that we had there.

Staff is amazing, room super clean, and access to NYC undeniably simple. However, local temperature was in the lower 30’s and none of the nights we stayed we had hot water in the shower. We only had hot water in the sink faucet and that is not ideal. After the first night, at the very first thing in the morning, I communicated the issue to the front desk. Albeit, per our return at night water continued not hot at all. Frustratingly, no actions were taken to relocate us to a different room without this issue nor it was fixed. Moreover, that for me is not negotiable but definitely made think that I’ll never stay at that hotel again nor will recommend to anyone I know is looking for a hotel in the area. We already have made plans to go back next spring but will certainly avoid this hotel even if there is an insane low price. Lastly, breakfast was okay, but toasters were not working, not healthy sugar alternatives but processed sugar and Equal, cream pump never worked on any day and visible was never replaced, and options were very limited. Wouldn’t stay that again.

Room was okay, the breakfast was good. Service it depends who was in the front desk. The lady when we checked in was very informative,but the guy during check out was bordeline rude. The first set of keys we got during check in did not work so that’s a bummer then on our last day we came back to our room from breakfast the keys again stopped working so we had to get another keys then the replacement didn’t work so we had to go down stairs again get it fixed so we wasted a good 30 minutes there. So yeah its 3 stars for me.

The room was very clean and the staff was helpful. More breakfast options would be appreciated, it needed pastries and fresh fruit and bacon. It was odd that there was sausage and no bacon. Otherwise the stay was great! We were very grateful for the morning shuttle into the city as it was way more affordable than the ride shares.

Had an issue on last night with some teen/ young adults yelling & running in hall having a party. My daughter went to the front desk & issue was dealt with them extremely quickly! Includes buffet breakfast which had several options for gluten free vegetarian but need to use common sense (not made to order, but included at no extra cost). Room has decorative \"fire place\" with on/ off button (no heat, no fire, but pretty). My daughter & i stay here each year when attending NYCC.

Had very bad experience with this property. We were given a room that was fixed recently for ceiling leakage in rain. Although it started to leak again during our stay. On top of that small portion of the ceiling leakage area got down and bump to my daughter’s head.

Why would hotels do not check these things before giving it to guests?

Cockroaches on walls, AC is broken and loud, water is flowing from AC and the top inside restroom. I though that might be just a one room is like this, but we were living n two separate rooms and it's the same. Additionally to that n one room a strong smell of cigarets all the time... At the end of our stay they compensated us 50% of latest day of our stay which is nothing to be honest.

I was expecting a bit more based off the photos of the property when booking. Hotel is very run down and in need of a serious deep clean and facelift. The actual rooms themselves, while obviously worn, were clean and sufficient for the night. The hallways, elevators, and common areas were downright gross. Stains everywhere, debris strewn, furniture pealing apart. It honestly just gave me the \"ick\". Breakfast was ok I suppose, but given the lack of attention to cleanliness and upkeep around the hotel, I stuck with cereal. Staff was friendly enough, though not super helpful when we asked about nearby dining or things to do. I didn't expect a lot for the price, but even if things are old, they should a least be regularly cleaned and maintained. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your property. The experience was far below acceptable standards and did not reflect what was advertised.

The pool was not available, and that section of the property appeared completely abandoned.
The restaurant and bar were closed, with no prior notice given.
The coffee room machine was broken throughout my stay.
The location made transportation extremely costly, with Uber rides being far more expensive than expected.

These issues significantly impacted my stay and made it clear that the listing was misleading. I booked this property based on the amenities and services promised, none of which were delivered. This is unacceptable.

My overall stay was excellent. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was basic but filling and delicious. I felt safe the entire time of my stay and feel like it’s a great option if you want to stay outside NYC. The rooms are a little dated and show normal wear and use. The staff did a good job and the cleaning staff were great. The breakfast was rhe wxact same each and wvery day..the eggs were cold each day..potatoes were raw and sausage was cold. A bit of varitey would have been nice.
They had a pick up service to go downtown but he was completely miserable. You may not like your job but you can at least put a smile on. This cause us to take the bus..which was fine on the way into the city but to get home the ataff told ua the wrong pick up point which caused us to miss the bus mulitple times ..the ultimately hiring an uber. Some staff at the hotel were good..front desk and cleaning..but the breakfast ataff when asked even for a lid for my coffee said no we r out. Just jot exactly a nice expereice for a 25 year anniveraary trip.

Not What We Expected

We arrived Wednesday evening- no one was at the front desk when we arrived.
The whole second floor smelled like weed and alcohol.
Once we got to our room, we noticed we had no towels anywhere in our room. Plus the toilet in our room did NOT work. We went to the front desk complained about that about an hour after we got there. Complained about it Thursday morning before we left for the day and once again when we went upstairs and noticed it still wasn’t working. They kept telling us to use the bathroom in the lobby. We complained again Friday mid-morning. At this point, they told us we had to stay in the room while they fixed it (which wasted most of our plans for Friday). Also, Friday our keys wouldn’t work, we got new keys and then it happened x2 AGAIN on Saturday. Overall, unpleasant and not relaxing.
