The location is excellent for getting to Manhattan, Times Square, and other attractions. The staff were very helpful in explaining how to get to Port Authority, since most guests leave their vehicles at the hotel and use public transportation to travel into Manhattan. The breakfast is decent, and the hotel has a very large cafeteria area.

The location of the hotel is the most important that that we looked at before we booked with them. They are close to the NYC with ample transit options and close to gas stations, EV chargers and restaurants.
While the staff were helpful and friendly, the place definitely lags behind with cleanliness. The property is old and can do with some sprucing up instead of quick fixes.
The AC worked intermittently despite being set to a lower temperature. However, we weren’t around much during the day and the nights were cooler so we didn’t complain about the AC.
Overall a good experience but could definitely get better.

I stayed here because it was close to hospital in NYC. The breakfast eggs and sausage were cold. The walls in the room are peeling. The elevator could only fit 2-3 average people without luggage. Too close for comfort.

Loved this hotel! My room was so clean, we had the beds cleaned every day and clean towels every day! My room was on the 5th floor so my room was so quiet when we slept at night! The staff were so nice too! Free WiFi! The breakfast was so delicious every day for our 4 day stay! The breakfast included: eggs,potatoes, sausages, fruit, cereal, toast, bagels, pastries, coffee, juice. My favourite part of the breakfast was the make your own waffles! Very delicious breakfast! I would definitely stay at the Days hotel by Wyndham again the next time I am in New jersey! ❣️❣️❣️❣️

The pictures are deceiving. It was fair enough to sleep if that. The hallway smelled like pee. When I asked the front desk a simple question the man at the desk responded with attitude as if I was bothering him. Last but not least, ANTS! It’s started with maybe 1 or 3, no biggie. I woke up to ants all over the floor!

Roaches, roaches and more roaches. When I reported this to the manager, he implied that it was our fault for having food in the room (which is untrue and we did not) and he asked us to send a photo of the roaches. We did not and he did not accept a request for a room change.
The manager then showed up at our door unannounced and made verbal racist, sexist and homophobic threats. I told him to call the police, which he did. I later learned that this hotel is notorious for its physical and moral filth. Stay away.

Clean room but very small, shower head had a little rust & floor was sticky. Other than that it was good for the price. Breakfast was okay nothing special. Waffle make was down but they were quick to fix it. Overall good for what your paying for!!

The room was clean, as advertised with a king bed, a big screen TV (which we didn't use) and a functionally but small bathroom. Parking was on both sides of the building which was nice. We didn't get a chance to partake in the free breakfast but the bed was nice and the room was kept cool, though I wish you could've turned off the AC/Fan.

We had a very good stay at this hotel in New York. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of the best things was the ample parking space, which is very difficult to find in most hotels in New York. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Check-in staff was not welcoming. They kept urging me to tap my credit card when they could clearly see I was searching for it in my bag. lol I could see they just wanted to quickly take my payment and finish up with me. The location is perfect for the Bergen Park n Ride which got us into the city for NYU graduation the next day. The breakfast was very good! I booked this hotel at the last minute because we only needed one nighjt as we stayed in NYC in an Airbnb but it's nice to know that there are hotels ins Secaucus that we can book. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again but there are a number close by that I would try instead. Customer service at this location needs to be ramped up and the outside parking lot with people milling about looked sketchy. This Hotel is 2 stars at best but the interior rooms were passable for a one night only stay.

Breakfast was wonderful with hot food such as eggs and sausage as well as hard boiled eggs, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, fruit, bagels, a toaster, cream cheese, potatoes, yogurt. Lots of options, tasted good, fresh. If you go after 9 am it is very busy but the staff work hard to replenish what they can. Well managed.

We had an issue with our door not opening with the key. We got 6 different keys, multiple adults in our party tried to open the door. They blew us off saying we were ruining the keys with our cell phones and didn't have interest coming up to help us. Finally a person came up and they couldn't open the door on the first try either with the new key they just made. On the last day they replaced the lock so at least the issue was resolved before the next guest.

They cleaned the room each day and made the bed nicely. We had a toddler and crumbs were everywhere, they still did an excellent job with cleaning and it was nice. Shower clean and bathroom remodeled, room large and comfortable. I'd stay here again for a trip to NY and recommend it to anyone.

Free ample parking, nearby grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants. Nice lobby, always someone at front desk, free coffee in lobby, ice on floor 2. Only thing I would change is I wish there was a bus stop to NY was closer as the walk to the bus stop was up hill. Super 8 nearby has a bus coming right to the hotel if that is important for you.

Not only is this hotel insanely noisy, it is dirty and rundown.

Our room had a mysterious white stain on one of the bed frames that looked suspiciously like body fluid, there was water damage on the ceiling that had just been painted over, the toilet was not fixed to the bathroom floor and slid around, and there were mystery holes in the wall. Also, the door did not close properly, and there was a light coming from around the entire door. We ended up propping the iron board up against the door and jamming a coat hanger in the handle to feel a semblance of safety.

The hotel lobby and elevator reeked of cigarette smoke and the elevator had no security so anyone can access the entire building.

There is construction all around the hotel, so to get to the nearest bus stop, you have to walk uphill through various construction zones.

We booked a stay here for five nights and ended up leaving after the first night to find another hotel. When I told the man at the reception desk that we would be checking out early he did not ask why or offer any sort of compensation. He acted like this was a normal occurrence for this hotel.

I do not recommend staying here. The location is terrible and the hotel feels incredibly unsafe and dirty.

The room was clean. Staff was very nice. It was a little difficult to unload the luggage cart due to the narrow entryway into the hotel room. The back entrance was not labeled well enough. We missed it the first time. The parking lot is difficult to navigate. It’s on a hill. It could use better signage that the check-in is on the front side not the most used entry.

The bed was very comfortable very nice feature of having a fireplace in the room that was new and unexpected. The tile in the bathroom was very beautiful.

The hotel location is pretty good. For my week's stay though, the water in the shower was lukewarm, every day, in very cold weather. The breakfast is poor quality, no variety, mouldy bread. On checking in, I was charged extra per day for a safe I wasn't going to use, and I had to argue that it wasn't a cost I was prepared to pay, I hadn't been told upfront. Room cleaning was good, but doing it at 9am some days was really annoying. Reception staff pretty glum, and not friendly.

I arrived to check in at 1:15 p.m. They told me that check-in started at 2 p.m., but that for $35 they could check me in 45 minutes early. I believe that if the room is already available, offering that courtesy without charging would be reasonable. On the contrary, they made it very clear that checkout was strictly at 11 a.m. with no possibility of extension.

Overall an okay experience! A big plus was the shuttle service to NYC but be prepared to use the cheaper one which is about 8 minutes up the road and a 15 minute walk back. The front desk was very good in explaining the details and where to go. On the not so bright side, we did find a roach in our bathroom. But the room was pretty nice. Not bad for wanting an affordable trip close to the big apple!

Staff is amazing, room super clean, and access to NYC undeniably simple. However, local temperature was in the lower 30’s and none of the nights we stayed we had hot water in the shower. We only had hot water in the sink faucet and that is not ideal. After the first night, at the very first thing in the morning, I communicated the issue to the front desk. Albeit, per our return at night water continued not hot at all. Frustratingly, no actions were taken to relocate us to a different room without this issue nor it was fixed. Moreover, that for me is not negotiable but definitely made think that I’ll never stay at that hotel again nor will recommend to anyone I know is looking for a hotel in the area. We already have made plans to go back next spring but will certainly avoid this hotel even if there is an insane low price. Lastly, breakfast was okay, but toasters were not working, not healthy sugar alternatives but processed sugar and Equal, cream pump never worked on any day and visible was never replaced, and options were very limited. Wouldn’t stay that again.

Room was okay, the breakfast was good. Service it depends who was in the front desk. The lady when we checked in was very informative,but the guy during check out was bordeline rude. The first set of keys we got during check in did not work so that’s a bummer then on our last day we came back to our room from breakfast the keys again stopped working so we had to get another keys then the replacement didn’t work so we had to go down stairs again get it fixed so we wasted a good 30 minutes there. So yeah its 3 stars for me.
