Room was clean but a little small. My first night there i was upset becaise I was on the 1st floor and it was so loud all night. I stayed in room 113 that was literally next to the kitchen, elevators, and lobby. I was hearing pots and pans all night and the staff talking plus when i called the front desk, i could hear the lobbys phone ringing from my room! I got moved the next day to the 2nd floor.

Room was tidy, decent location, and the staff on reception were brilliant. However, on day of departure, I had a long day ahead, and check out time wasn't till 11:00, so I wanted a bit of a lie in, but I had at least three knocks on the door from people wanting to come and tidy the room. Not ideal at all.

Both nights I stayed, there were quite a few extremely loud (doors slamming, people talking and yelling loudly in the hallways and rooms) unsavory guests making noise from 7pm ‘till 5am. The hotel did nothing about it. It didn’t feel safe.

Staff so friendly, the room perfect clean a little small but nothing crazy.
The only thing can get better is the breakfast, was a mess, there were no eggs on any of the days, it was all bread, muffins and more bread. No fruits, the pancakes always runout.

The elevator was not working properly, and I was forced to walk up to the 11th floor using the stairs. The breakfast was disgusting, and the overall service at the hotel was extremely poor. There was ongoing construction outside, which was not disclosed in advance.

To make matters worse, when we arrived at night, one of the workers asked us for our room key in order to open the door, leaving us standing outside in the cold. This situation felt unprofessional and unsafe.

This was a very disappointing experience, and I would not stay at this hotel again.

I chose this hotel because it was tied to a great airfare pkg. The room was clean, the staff I encountered was friendly but the negative reviews regarding noise, elevators, breakfast, and the windows I read prior to my visit were accurate. First off, I stayed on the 8th floor and the windows were absolutely filthy - bummer because the view was great. I know it's challenging keeping them clean but these haven't been cleaned in ages. Noise - the room doors are like paper with a big floor gap so you hear everything happening in the hallway. Elevators - there are 2 banks but only one works - barely. I stayed 4 days and not once did I have a wait less than 10-15 mins - each time the door opened it was full. I even just walked down the 8 flights because I had to be somewhere. Not fun. Breakfast. Honestly, the food options were decent and the amount seemed to try and keep up but the amount of guests vs the size of the dining space is not OK. Packed like sardines and people acting like this would be the only meal they were having all day - families taking PLATES and PLATES overflowing with bacon and sausage at one time. Not cool. Again, never had a chance to eat down there due to lack of room - even at 7am. Ate once in my room. If you're on a budget ok or like me, a former NYer who was just in town for a quick visit, but you may want to rethink if you want a better experience closer to things. This place is way over almost to 11th Avenue so it's about 10-15 min walk to the subway.

HORRIBLE STAY - do NOT stay here ! Hotel room was dirty - elevators stopped working multiple times - myself and a family member got stuck inside elevators at different times - overheard multiple guests complaining that they got stuck as well. Unprofessional staff members and lack of management staff. Breakfast was awful and there isn’t sufficient seating- very chaotic. Worst hotel stay ever !!

We chose to eat breakfast out at restaurants b/c we were looking for organic, fresh food. The AC/Heat unit cover fell off in our room but it did not affect the function of the unit. Construction was going on outside the entrance. Smokers gathered right outside the entrance which meant we had to walk through them to enter/exit the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was farther from where we spent most of our time than we thought it would be, but we didn't spend much time there as we were out and about.

The door to our room had a large gap at the top of the door letting light in constantly and making the hallway noise louder than usual. There was a wet spot on the side of one of the beds that just sat - there was ne remedy except to keep a towel on it. The radiator was outlined in duct tape. We tried to call the front desk with a question and the phone didn't work. Most of the outlets didn't work. Breakfast was horrible - sausages were in the water so long that they were soggy. The cereal was stale. A really bad experience all the way around.

Rooms were too small, even tho we order the bigger room(extra space room) husband didn’t fit in the bed . He’s 6’2 and his feet would hang from the bed . Another thing they left a dirty pillow in our room with blood on it . It was flipped so you wouldn’t see it. But when we flipped it had blood . ! It was disgusting finding that pillow .

The elevators didn't work. The view out the window was garbage and construction material, the stairs we used instead of the elevator lead to outside the building, the floors were covered with cardboard and tape and it definitely was a cheap hotel to stay at.
The staff however were very sweet and friendly and apologized profusely but I guess that still doesn't compensate for the money spent!
