This Property does not have a refrigerator in the room, despite having the cabinet for it so it’s just a big empty hole. When we questioned them, they blamed Expedia for not posting it on their website. On checkout day, we tried to shower and there was NO WATER, nothing in the shower, sink or toilet. When we called the front desk they said “ohhh head we were working on it and forgot to turn it back on.” 30 mins later, When it finally came back on, we had to let it run for almost an hour due to it being dirty brown water with lots of dirt/sediment coming out. We finally got in because we had a flight to get to and the water turned dark brown again mid shower.

We stayed in a newly renovated room. It was quite lovely! But being in Times Square, the noise in the evenings was very loud. They may need to get different curtains to help muffle the noise.
But it was great everywhere else. The luggage guys are great!!

Property was clean as could be. Most floors were under construction... which was not disclosed at booking until we got there and saw it when we stepped off the elevator on our floor. Our run had just gotten completed so there were some issues with the tv and phone which were fixed that same night. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They even comped is a frig and a breakfast. A frig and microwave do not come with the room. They are extra. Not many amenities like a pool, spa, etc. The workout room was relocated and temporary due to the construction.
Overall the property is nice and a great location to many places including shipping, restaurants, theaters and Time Square. Plenty to do around the hotel within walking distance.

Hotels.com has the Westen listed offerinf free breakfast. It is not free. In fact, it costs 38 USD per person to gain access to the buffet. We had breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Corner room looked nothing like the photos and there was hair on the comforter and on some towels.

My floor was mid construction. Multiple times I got to my floor and there were boxes of FF&E in the hallway. Room was super dark and dingy.

Extremely overpriced for what you get. The $42.00 per plate Breakfast buffet was identical to the \"FREE\" breakfast buffet found at any \"Choice Awards\" hotel such as Days Inn, Comfort Inn Sleep Inn etc., etc.! Not to mention the food/drinks offered at the Westin were horrible. No mini fridge in the room making it possible to keep purchased items cool/cold, forcing constant trips out to ridiculously priced lounge. We were not offered any transportation tips or help finding transportation around the city such as maps, location of taxi service or any type of shuttle service. We will not return to any Weston property again.

So originally I had booked another hotel that was nice, breakfast included and a great price. Then I saw Westin’s fitness center, which is mainly what I book my stays around, so I booked there.
Well, jokes on me. They don’t tell you beforehand that their actual fitness center is under construction and they have an excuse for a fitness center including a few treadmills and dumbbells.
No cable machines, no bands, dumbbells only go to 50lbs.
And the room had no refrigerator.
There was no ice machine on our floor.
The employees were pleasant and the room was clean.
Overall, the thing that was most important to me was a complete fail, which is not the fault of the employees, just incredibly frustrating.

The tile floor of the bathroom and the entrance was in really bad shape. The lobby was a bit messy. The breakfast in the room was served in a large paper bag. Not impressed. I would have expected much better from a Westin Hotel.

Room didn't have slippers, dental kit or any other basic things. On the day of checkout even though time is 12:00 pm for the check out a member of cleaning staff opened the door with us changing at 10:30 am!!! The thing that annoyed me the most is that there was no mention of something they called \"destination fee\" which is just an excuse for them to take 50 dollars per day after tax from you... They justify it as giving you some tickets to a comedy show or something but basically jsut robbed us of 100 extra dollars. Overall very unprofessional experience...

We had a wonderful stay at the The Westin New York at Times Square. The hotel was exceptionally clean, peaceful, and quiet — exactly what we were hoping for in the middle of the city. It felt comforting from the moment we arrived.

The customer service was excellent. Every staff member we interacted with was professional, friendly, and attentive. Our stay was smooth from check-in to check-out, and we truly have no complaints.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in NYC. We would absolutely return!

The room was very clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the city. Check in and check out was quick and easy. There was a lot of construction noise on our last morning in the room but it was a Monday and I guess I can’t be mad that people are simply doing their jobs. It was pretty loud but not the end of the world. There was no mini fridge in our room (space for it but nothing was there) and although there was a coffee maker, no actual coffee was stocked. There was also a supposed credit per day to be used at the hotel restaurant and we only used the breakfast buffet on the last day of our stay. I was charged $42 for a single buffet breakfast which I thought was kind of expensive for what I had…and was told at checkout that the discount had been applied.
Overall a good stay but I’d avoid the overpriced buffet and head out to any of the great food spots nearby.

The rooms were not what I expected for a Westin, very dark with limited lighting, dated, and not the clean pristine look that I expect from a hotel. The room was supposed to have robes, there were none, no late night food options, the onsite restaurant was horrible, food and drinks were bad. I definitely will pick another option the next time I return to NY.

Second time staying at the Westin. Room was clean, location is great. Staff is nice. Highly recommend you DO NOT pay for the breakfast $38 dollars for a Holiday Inn express continental breakfast, it was the single most disappointing meal of our trip. There is also a lot of construction taking place that is pretty loud and it started before 8am on a Monday morning. Overall, we will still stay here again.

This was the worst experience I had . They put men the floor where it was under construction my room was dirty and nasty . When I did reach out the did move us into a better room . My first night there the waitress was very rude and I just can’t see myself going back . Oh and they did give me a $50 good credit . Worst experience ever

The location was great. However, the rooms are dated. There were holes in the sheets (housekeeping staff did replace, after a request). The room was also noisy, we were forced to hear running water anytime the guest above us flushed the toilet or took a shower.

We requested a refrigerator twice and were told both time it was coming and it never arrived. We had to call and request waters, as our cleaning service did not leave any new ones and also left some of their cleaning supplies in our room. Upon requesting waters, we were rudely told it would be a 40 min wait...like it was a complete bother to the person who answered the phone that we asked. When we come back to NY, we will find somewhere else to stay.

It would’ve been nice to have a lunch option (room service or restaurant). B/c of the location, lunch options were always within walking distance though. Would stay again.
