The staff were so sweet and helpful. The rooms were so spacious and clean. The rooftop bar was spectacular. It was sick an amazing trip with my husband, celebrating our anniversary there. It was also a great location. I would absolutely stay there again. I'm a heartbeat.

We liked the calm relaxing vibe of the hotel making it a wonderful retreat from the busy sensory heavy life of the bustling streets of NYC. The pool was a bonus and the location was perfect for catching a Broadway show.

Everyone we encountered were very nice, thoughtful and considerate.
Except one woman at the reception.
The room was never properly cleaned.
Bathroom floor and drain remained dirty for most of the stay - we spent 12 days there.
So was the floor - never vacuumed
Bed was comfortable
Clean linen
Room was ok - floor 19 - we are not sure if it was what we booked.
Deluxe - was there a difference vs Premium?
Good access to Time Square - near the subway
Not sure if we will book again here.
Our name was never changed on the booking - see photo - hence not knowing if the room was really booked for us

The location of the hotel was excellent and easily the best part of the stay. It was close to everything we wanted to do, including the metro, Times Square, restaurants, and shows, which made getting around very convenient. The room itself was very clean and well maintained, and we appreciated the small touches like complimentary water bottles. We also had a nice view, which added to the overall comfort of the room.

That said, despite the great location and cleanliness, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. The elevators were a major issue and really took away from the experience. There were four elevators total, but only two actually serviced the lobby. One elevator was out of order during our stay, and another only ran between reception on the 7th floor and the guest rooms. As a result, wait times were extremely long. We often stood waiting while elevators arrived already full and then continued on. We did eventually take the stairs a few times from the 10th floor down to the street, but the hotel goes from floor 7 to 30+ so that's not feasible for many.

Additionally, a smaller but frustrating issue was that the shower soap in our room ran out and was never refilled, even after housekeeping visits. While not a dealbreaker on its own, combined with the elevator problems it added to the overall disappointment.

Unfortunately, these issues overshadowed what could have otherwise been a very enjoyable stay, especially for the cost.

The property is in a great location for Times Square. Very easy to walk to from the train station. The staff operating the hotel day to day were kind. However the staff in the margaritaville restaurant were extremely rude with long waits even with a reservation and subpar food. One evening we asked to sit at the bar and were told it was full so we asked for a table. We were told we couldn’t be seated if we were just drinking, when we intended to eat as well and then were seated at a table so wobbly we couldn’t even sit a cup on it without it spilling. The waiter acknowledged it laughed and never offered to move us when there was plenty of tables open. The next night we made a reservation to avoid this and had a 30 minute wait before we got drinks or acknowledged by anyone. Oh don’t forget the timeshare desk haggling you while you wait on the host to come seat you. After the second night of a rude experience at the restaurant we decided to walk across the street and eat instead and really enjoyed our meal. Some safety concerns during our stay: the elevator wait times were very long during the day, and during our stay were told the stairs were not open? Rooms were small but clean with a great view, and overall a good location and decent stay.

The room was modern, beds were clean and comfortable. There were signs that it had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our check in - a hair immediately visible on bathroom sink and a toenail/fingernail clipping in the floor by the dresser. Otherwise a great stay.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy, which I really appreciated after a long day of traveling. The location is definitely a plus—there are plenty of food options nearby, and it’s also conveniently close to Bryant Park.

However, the room itself was quite small and unfortunately not as clean as I expected. I noticed some hair left on the bed, which was disappointing and made the space feel less well-maintained.

Service was a bit inconsistent. Most of the staff were attentive and friendly, which made a positive impression. However, the front desk staff member on my second day was noticeably rude and not welcoming, which affected the overall experience.

The hotel is dog-friendly, which is great, but there isn’t a designated dog relief area on the property. You’ll need to walk to nearby spots like Bryant Park for that.

Overall, the location and most of the staff were highlights, but improvements in cleanliness, room size, and consistency in service would make a big difference.

They charged us a smoking violation fee after we checked out, but no one smoked in our room during our stay. After searching various review websites, they have apparently scammed a lot of guests with this charge (which cost me $573.00).

Hotel was very well located for a night in New York and broadway play. Hotel was clean and accessible, not really geared to kids but my kids enjoyed it. I think the pool was open but was cold and resort fee was high for not many amenities overall a good hotel to stay at with excellent staff.

The room was very small and I couldn’t adequately use it for my needs. The desk was also a bit small and the bed was comfortable. The heater didn’t stay consistently warm. The room was cleaned each day and I had some supplies delivered in a good way to my room. The restaurant was large and the wine was a bit pricey ($58) for a bottle. Overall the room was a 7/10 for me

Amazing stay. These rooms are beautiful, comfortable and the location is convenient. The entire staff is friendly, they make you feel so welcome. You could literally spend the entire day in this hotel. I highly recommend this location.

The staff at Margaritaville Resorts Times Square was superb. Every single staff member from the Front Desk personnel to the cleaning staff to the servers were superb. What impressed us most was their level of professionalism for such a young group. They all helped make our stay very enjoyable!

This place was good. And it would have been excellent and great. But the experience with the elevators was so bad, it has soured me on the place. Four elevators, and you still wait. Especially before checkout. Waited no lie like 10 min for an elevator. Other negative is the shower. The water wasn’t hot, and there’s no curtain or sliding door to cover the entire shower. WTH??? Floor gets wet. Dumbest design I’ve ever seen. For the hefty resort fee, gotta do better.

A little strange that the lobby is on the 7th floor, fun vacation vibe throughout the whole property, clean but very small rooms. Extremely comfortable beds I loved everything about it except lobby bar only opens at 3:00, the 32nd floor bar only opens at 4:00, the pool is open from 10:00-4:30, these hours ruin the vacation mood. They need to be more flexible., bars should open at noon and the pools closing hours should be extended to 9:00pm

The hotel's location is fantastic! Hotel staff was so very friendly and helpful. Room was nice. Shower was not great because I don't like overhead rain showers. Lunch at the restaurant was great. Breakfast is another story. Restaurant was empty and 3 parties were waiting to be seated, never happened. We all left. Found a great Diner at 43rd and Broadway called Brooklyn Diner. Fantastic! Overall nice hotel and we would stay there again.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a couple of minutes from Times Square, with plenty of great dining options nearby. The hotel itself is clean, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. The only downside to the room was that the restroom was quite small.

The food at the hotel restaurant was very expensive and not the best, I feel there are much better options outside the hotel. Customer service, however, was good and met expectations. Overall, a solid stay thanks to the location and comfort, with a few areas for improvement.

Margaritaville is one the best hotels in Times Square. The building is inviting. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are wonderful. The only issue, if there is one, is the elevators tend to take a long time. I understand this is common with NYC hotels, but I have stayed in numerous hotels in NYC and these elevators just seem to take longer than most. Otherwise, it is a wonderful hotel. Not many places guests can swim outside in Manhattan in April.

My daughter and I stayed here for her 18th birthday. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the location is excellent! The room was a bit tiny but for just the two of us it was fine. Its location is walkable to excellent shopping and tons of dining options. If you want to get further away, the subway is just a block away. The parking, while not “on site” is easy. The parking garage they recommend to use is just across the street and has valet parking.

After checking out of hotel I was charged for a $500 smoking fee on room. I have NEVER smoked a day in my life and am a cancer survivor. I was simply charged a fee and when calling to find out why I was double charged for room, this is when I was told about charge. I pre-paid my room via EXPEDIA. Terrible property and service.
