For some reason my reservation was canceled but not by me. I had traveled with my daughter 12 hours that day and we just wanted some place cool to lay down. It took the workers a while to figure it out but they did find amd reinstate my reservation.

The stay at this hotel went great! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was near all attractions and you could see the ball drop from the hotel. The pool was small but nice. There is room service until midnight and the food is really good from there. No complaints!

Honestly I was a little embarrassed to tell people I was staying at a Margaritaville in New York City, but it turned out to be a great hotel. The location is central in Times Square, so extremely close to transit options. Additionally, the facility was very well-maintained and the pool area was nice. I'd highly recommend it!

Bottom line= would not stay here again.

Pros:
-location is the best part of this hotel, in the heart of Times Square, easy to walk or catch subways
-beds comfy
-free bottled water in room daily
-housekeeping cleaned bathrooms/trash daily
-cool views from the bar on floor 31 & by the pool
-price is reasonable

Cons:
-poor customer service
-upon check in our TV, outlets & half the lights did not work. Engineer was able to find several unplugged items & get TV & light working but not the outlets by the bed which made charging devices very difficult
-bathroom sink pipe leaked heavily & had to be fixed after pooling water on the floor
-shower drain was rusty
-shower had only a curtain, no door or raised edge, so water extended far into bathroom floor after even a quick shower
-cheap paper wristbands are given to wear the duration of the stay, although we did not & no one said anything about it
-pool very cold, even our kids who swim at home year round did not want to attempt it again after day 1

Fantastic stay and the staff was lovely. Room service is not connected to the hotel so you have to place orders (vs charge the room) which is not a big deal but if the restaurant is very busy you have to contact them yourself (they sometimes won’t pick up if they’re too busy). Overall really enjoyed our stay and will comeback again

Rooms were minimal but to be expected in Manhattan. Cleanliness was lacking in the rooms. There was a small fire on the pool deck and fire extinguisher discharge everywhere. The main bar was subject to a sewer backup and subsequent smell. The food in the restaurant (breakfast) was not great quality. Overall, it was a disappointment. Not worth the cost. Location was excellent.

A fun spot that gave such a different vibe than traditional New York! ! The rooftop pool is on the smaller side, but it’s a nice amenity and adds a great atmosphere to the experience. The food was really good — definitely a highlight — and the drinks delivered exactly what you’d hope for from a Margaritaville. All in all, solid value for what you get.

Had an amazing time during our three day stay! The food was amazing. The staff at breakfast was so fun and welcoming! The room was small but comfortable with enough room to accommodate myself and my husband. We felt very safe and relaxed. It was close enough for us to visit all the main attractions and all the good food spots! Highly recommend!

Our stay was very nice. Two issues: We received a VIP benefit of a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival. When I asked at the front desk, they said it was already in the refrigerator in our room. It wasn't, but they gave it to me at the front desk with two coupons for buy one get one free margaritas which was very nice of them. The amount of elevators they have for the floors of retail/restaurants which are open to the public and the amount of floors is not adequate at all. We had to wait multiple times in non peak hours for elevators with enough room. Also, there are no back elevators so you will sometimes have to make the choice of riding with commercial trash cans that smell or waiting for 1-3 more elevators. Would also be nice if they would have a hot tub to use year rounds.

While we were disappointed that the weather was too cold to enjoy the pool and unfortunately experienced a lost personal item during our stay, Carlo in Guest Services made a lasting positive impression on our family. His kindness and outstanding hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. Thanks to Carlo, we enjoyed an incredible room with a breathtaking view that became the highlight of our trip and made my son's dream visit to New York City even more special. Carlo's genuine care, professionalism, and dedication to guests are a true asset to this hotel. We are incredibly grateful for everything he did and for the unforgettable memories he helped create. The room was small as expected. They could have added a few more shelves & inserts on the wall to help compensate. The room was clean, we had to ask for everything we needed. They do not come to your room everyday for towels, garbage, etc. The staff was helpful when we needed something. This location does not have the concierge desk that helps with navigation and tickets like at other locations. We did not eat at any of their restaurants but have at others and they are good. The location is great for subway, restaurants, and shopping.

Very clean room, maid service was brilliant, Restaurant the Margaritaville Restaurant & Tiki Bar, good food, ok service, cutlery was brought after food was served probably coz restaurant large and difficult to keep an overview of used tables. Very annoying young man working in the restaurant wanting to take our picture, and then charge for them, asked him to come back later, he came when we just got our food and even though he could see we just got it still wanted to talk to us and stop us from eating. Sent him away.
So happy we went on our last night up to the 5 o’clock Rooftop bar as views spectacular. Bar and used tables needed to have been kept cleaner, wasn’t enough staff maybe.
Great location, very quiet in our room on the 10th floor with the windows closed, loved all the sounds when we opened them.

My child left their headphones on the bed in the room and realized it after we were already in the lyft to the airport. I emailed the property and was told \"nothing was found in the room, I even checked with the housekeeping staff\". Other than the dishonest staff that now have a new pair of headphones, our stay was nice. Convenient to have meal options after a long day in the city.

Rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. When conidering this hotel, know that there is a $50 per day resort fee applied. It is an outdoor pool, we were there when it was rainy and cold, really only 1 day we could use the pool. So it was $200 for about an hour in the pool. We tried to use both the rooftop bar and lobby bar multiple times, they were always closed(or no bartender or server around), even on a weekend. Frustrating it didn't really have a resort feel, when you have to pay the fee.

One night we ordered room dining , what I found out the restaurant is not part of the hotel , but the service was really bad , I ordered a hamburger and 2 can beers according what the menu offered, the gave me 2 bottles instead of cans, no problem with that, but they did not have a bottle opener so i had to down stairs to the restaurant and ask an opener , they don’t have it , and they treat me very rude so the situation was nightmare

The cleaning staff were incredible!! I stayed on the 14th floor and had a great time with my mom during Memorial Day. Be aware that the pool is closed if it’s raining and you have to ask for a separate wrist bands if you want to use it. Also one of the four elevators is only meant for certain floors so keep that in mind. This was a great location and the views were spectacular. Be mindful of the space tho since some of the rooms can be small

As a longtime Parrot Head, staying at Margaritaville Resort Times Square felt like stepping into a Jimmy Buffett daydream right in the middle of Manhattan. The vibe is pure escape from the tropical decor to the music floating through the property. Staff was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for Times Square. The rooftop views and bars were a huge highlight, especially with a margarita in hand while the city lights took over at night. Perfect mix of Broadway energy and island state of mind. Fins up, New York.

We usually stay at a Hilton property, but thought we'd try this resort since we've never stayed here before. It was me, my husband, and my 16 year old daughter. --The Room--My daughter didn't like the mirror in front of the bed. The layout of the room wasn't functional. The bathroom needed more hooks for hanging towels. Also, the hook at the back of the swing out shower door wasn't well thought out. The tail knobs on the face basin was cute but the width of it hit and marked the wall. --The Restaurant--We ate here twice. The first time it took 40 minutes to get our food and there were only 4 tables, including ours, that was occupied on our level at the time. It was inconvenient and mind boggling that we couldn't charge the meal to the room. The second time we ate here, it took 25 minutes to get our food, at the time we went there were 3 tables (including ours) occupied. The food was luke warm. A part of the order was scrambled eggs with cheese; and, we were got were partly cooked eggs with slice of cheese from a wrapper. --The Hallway-- this always seemed warm all the time. --Overall--I don't think we'd stay at this location again and staying at another Margarittaville is questionable.

BEWARE!!! After our 4-night stay, we were charged a $500 smoking fee. We are non-smokers and 100% did not smoke in the room.
I spent 10 days and made 7 calls attempting to resolve this issue with hotel management, but they refused to remove the charge. Their position was essentially that they did not believe us, despite us repeatedly explaining that we do not smoke.
What is most concerning is not just the excessive amount of the fee, but being charged for something we did not do and then being treated as though we were being dishonest. The hotel claimed we “smoked” in the room approximately 30 minutes before checkout after a 4-night stay, which makes very little logical sense.
I initially tried to handle this professionally and directly with management, but since they were unwilling to work cooperatively, I feel it is important to warn future guests. Be aware that you could potentially leave your stay with a significant charge for something you did not do.

We had an amazing stay at Margaritaville Resort Times Square. The location was absolutely perfect and made exploring New York so easy. Times Square, Broadway, shopping, restaurants, and so many attractions were all just steps away from the hotel.

Our king room overlooking the pool was beautiful, modern, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The bed was amazing, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel felt fun, relaxing, and upscale at the same time.

One of the best parts of our stay was definitely the bars and restaurants. The margaritas were fantastic, the food was great, and every area of the hotel had such an upbeat and welcoming vibe. The rooftop was incredible with stunning city views, music, amazing drinks, and the perfect atmosphere at night after a busy day exploring Manhattan.

The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone visiting New York City

Unbelievably excellent customer service
For my mis-managed long weekend, Mother’s day debacle of a trip, my own fault. Somehow, I changed dates and confused myself with the itinerary.
I was so emotional and mad at myself,
However, service staff from the emphatic man who helped us with our luggage, the two people at the check in desk, along with the manager who was also so kind. Truly, words cannot describe how most grateful my Mom and I were for all of their help.

I really want this review to be forwarded to the staff at the Margaritaville Hotel and Resort in Times Square NYC, who, on Thursday, May 7th, around 12-1PM, know that we will never forget all that they did for us. I am humbled. I am sorry I forgot their names. Please give them a raise at least, they so very much deserve more.

The overall hotel was good. During the weekend, access to the elevators was horrible. With all the restaurants, the wait to get on was around 10-20 minutes. Out conditioner pump for our hair didn’t work. The faucet in the bathroom wouldn’t stop dripping. I left my prescription sunglasses in the room ($600) and they said it wasn’t here. Overall good location.

We got a real Island oasis getaway vibe right in the heart of the city! The location is perfect. We drove in from out of state and the validated parking was easy and a good value. The room, the views, the roof top bars, the roof top pool, the lounge areas, the restaurant all say tropical vacation whilst the excitement and energy of Time Square is just outside the doors!
