This is a great budget property right in the heart of Times Square! As soon as you leave the Hotel you are right in the middle of it! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Great views too!

The rooms were not clean and hallway carpets were in disgusting place. The whole place smells, cleaning of the rooms was so bad you could see hairs on the floors and sheets were dirty as well

Overall it is a decent hotel but don’t expect too much. The biggest issue was seeing 3 ants on the bedside table in the first day and another one the day after. Luckily they were only found on that table and I didn’t see any more the last 2 days I was there so I didn’t bother asking for a different room. Other than that, no major issues. It is pretty old, but overall clean, except for the ants. The line to check in is long right at 4 pm, so you’d want to be there at least 10 minutes earlier. The elevators might have a wait but luckily not too long of a wait when I was there. I’ve noticed at least 1 to 3 of the elevators out of service depending on the day. Staff was really nice and helpful.

If you are wanting something close to time square and all of the action then this is it. Excellent location. Everything else was just “ok”. It is definitely out dated. You have to request a mini fridge. There are no microwaves. The water pressure for the toilet is terrible. Overall I feel like I paid too much for this place for it to be just “ok”. It’s basic, no extras, not pretty or shiny. Certainly not the best but not the worst place I’ve stayed.

This hotel was in an excellent location, steps from Times Square and many, many theaters. The price was right. It wasn't fancy--there's no restaurant, and the lobby is in a pass-through hall from one street to anothe--but the mattress was great, the pillows were great, and the employees were so super friendly and helpful. There is a gift shop with sundries, and a fitness room. I don't know why I don't see this place's name on the blogs more often. I would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is fantastic just on Times Square but think the hotel could do with a makeover as it is quite dated. The room has no fridge and the door was hanging off it. No tea/coffee making facilities and there was a painting taken off the wall as you could see the fixings.

Staff was helpful. Rooms were spacious. A/C and hot water reliable. Internet slow a couple of times in 10 days. I have been looking for a place in Times Square for years. I've stayed at umpteen hotels and the Millennium is the first I feel like I want to return to. The lobby stretches from 44th to 45th Street. So helpful!

Love to stay at Millennium Broadway Time Square Hotel. I was impressed by the gentleman who helped me leave my luggage at the hotel before check-in time so I could walk around without dragging my luggage along; he was very charming and funny. The hotel is right in Times Square, clean, and offers a view of the ball drop for the New Year's Eve countdown. Definitely come back again soon.

The bathroom was a little dated but the room itself had decent size. There are 6 elevators and they reach the desired floor pretty quickly. The lobby has 2 exits which can get you to 44th or 45th street which has a Walgreens and Starbucks not far from the entrance. Great location which is close to pretty much all the train lines in the city from the subway to long island rail road to metro north. Lots of food in the area and even though it's close to Times Square, you can go the other direction and be in the more chill vicinity of Bryant Park. Quiet rooms and I never heard any of my neighbors. Would stay again in the future.

Large rooms for the price. Older and well worn furnishings but everything works.

Toilet in our room had a phantom flush. We called housekeeping twice in our four day stay to report. We were told each time someone would be up to repair. Phantom flush was still occurring when we left.

From the moment we checked in, this hotel was welcoming and inviting. Our flight had been delayed so we checked in later than had planned, but the clerk was so nice. She commented on how nice a granddaughter/grandmother trip to New York was and made us both so happy. The hotel is perfectly located in Times Square so it is close to everything! The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and the shower was great. We had cleaning service daily and they were on it quickly! They have a nice security guard making sure only guests were allowed in the elevators. The doorman was beyond amazing, giving us great directions and even getting us a cab when we needed one quickly to get to our boat tour. Loved this hotel and will be back for certain.

This is where I have always stayed for years, but the last three times I had stayed I have seen quite a decline in the state of the rooms. There were supposed to be light sconces above the bed, just empty space, never replaced. There were supposed tiling in the bathroom was a quick fix. The room was worn out looking. I had to pay so much more for two double beds,which is ridulous, so I am frustrated with the state of the rooms. You can’t beat the location but I will not stay there again

I stayed at this hotel 24 years ago, and it was a very nice place. Fastforward to today and the place is a dump. They have done no remodeling, everything is worn out and falling apart. It is clear they make no effort towards maintaining the property. For the price you pay, I expect more then motel 6 quality. Dont stay here, there are so many other options in the city that are well maintained. The staff was extremely rude. There was a constant issue with the Wi-Fi not working. Call the front desk and all they would say its your computer, so nothing we can do. No it wasnt my computer it was your poor wi-fi. The fact that they couldnt be bothered is a real issue. You are there to do your job, ie provide customer service, not to be rude to customers.

Walls and floors windows tub all stained. Extremely loud even on high floor. Room very small and out dated!! I spend so much extra money to get me a corner suite with a view and the hotel room looked like it was worth $100 when I paid over $700, so so not worth it!! I got no sleep there and bed was itchy, not enough towels. Staff took forever to get me what I asked. Front desk led me to the wrong floor! Then other staff couldn’t even help me find it I had to find it. The view wasn’t even that good. And so so much homeless near by. The hotel offers nothing. And water pressure sucked Tv barely worked. And NO USB sockets which ever new hotel has, for a hotel supposedly renovated on the 1st it looks like ish. Oh yea and curtains didn’t fully close again I had a corner view of time square do you know how bright my room was at night literally slept one hour a day. Not to mention how loud the neighbors doors are and elevator was loud as well constantly sounded like someone was breaking in my room. Will not recommend anyone to come here. I rate it a 1! A zero if could. Never going back, I’ll rather go to the empire hotel for this price!!

Air conditioning was not on upon entering the room. It was very warm. Outdated room for sure. Walls are thin as you can hear other guest in hallway all times of the night. Agents at desk were not friendly and immediately told you you couldn’t check in early. Wouldn’t recommend staying here. I won’t again.

The staff was amazing from start to finish. We stayed for well over a week, so they brought us a minifridge and a coffee pot on day 1. The housekeeping woman was kind and learned our schedule so she could come when we were gone for the day. I loved having an in room safe for valuables. The view from the room was spectacular, we could see the Chrysler building from our room, and Times Square from the hallway window. Everything was as it should be. Great stay!

Need to train your front desk staff to be a little more courteous and kind. Many people have a language barrier and do not always understand the English language. I was waiting in line when a black lady at the front desk raised her voice at another lady waiting in line to stand back and not approach the counter. The lady didn’t understand and came forward and she again raised her voice at the poor lady and told her “stand back DO NOT come to the counter “ she was very rude.

The city view was amazing.
They provide coffee machines and coffee but you have to request it. I was not informed of that until the last day of my stay when I asked about it. I wasn’t informed about the dining area or swimming pool or gym if they had any of them. The thermostat was not able to be adjusted but the air did work.

The location of this hotel was fantastic. It’s conveniently situated right in the heart of Time Square, just a stone’s throw away from Broadway. I absolutely loved the location. However, I would give Millennium Hotel a solid three and a half stars. The hotel and its rooms are a bit dated, and there’s not enough seating in the lobby. Despite these minor drawbacks, the service staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again if I were in the area, primarily because of the exceptional service and prime location.

We had an issue with our AC unit and after calling twice, the gentleman from security (or maintenance) came and immediately changed out the air filter which was FILTHY. Hotel was highly outdated with no extra amenities, (fridge, microwave, breakfast, coffee etc). You can use local parking garages for $60 max per day if you don’t move your car. With no in and out privileges. Overall, the stay was ok for what was needed but would never stay here again.

This hotel needs work and is in disrepair
No fridge in the room, no glasses, no cups,
no coffee maker, no wash cloths. .
We were told to open the window if the room is too cold, since they cannot do anything
about the temperature in the rooms.
It is an older property but seems not to be well taken care of.

You are paying for the location. Our room had peeling wallpaper, the tub was broken, the TV was broken, there was no refrigerator, and all the furniture was dated and wonky. But at least the room size was nice and the price was reasonable for how crappy the room was.

This rooms are smelly, dirty and way outdated. The carpet, the walls, the furnitire all in terrible shape. I always wipe down the common surfaces with a disinfectant wipe and was easily able to remove all sorts of questionable grossness. We also found bugs which we determined to be carpet beetles. Our first room stunk like cigarettes and had crumbs on the table. We moved to a less stinky room but still very dirty. The lobby is pretty. The staff was nice. The elevators were scary. It's right in the middle of everything so if that's your #1 priority, it works, but if you have any cleanliness or comfort standards,this isn't for you. It was also very noisy, though that didn't bug us. The view was kinda pretty. No in room refrigerator or microwave. We ended up leaving early because the accomodation was just so bad.

We had trouble with our room at the start of our 9 day stay, shower over bath was not draining, no internet in our room, tv not working. We didn’t get great help at the start until we met Erin at the front desk on day 3.
She moved rooms for us and made sure our New York stay was as good as we should expect.

FABULOUS location and the doorman was spectacular!!
Needed more seating in the lobby for those waiting. Three small benches for nine people is not enough.
The shower curtain rod was broken in one of our rooms, causing the curtain to slide towards the middle of the sagging rod.
The other room had some left over trash from a previous person in the bathroom.

The location is amazing, right in the middle of Times Square. Staff was very professional and helpful. Room was clean and ready on time. The only thing tnat was inconvenience was the toilet no flushing properly. One evening, our tub was clogged. Maintenance fix both in AM. Toilet was working ok, but does and should be fixed properly... overall this day was very pleasant
