Great location if going to a Broadway show or visiting Times Square. It is an older building and rooms are small but if you’re in NYC, you probably aren’t spending a lot of time in the room. Only issue I had was the water takes 5-7 minutes to get warm enough to take a shower. That’s why I didn’t give it five stars. Staff was courteous.

The staff was wonderful! Very friendly, professional and well-organized. The room was exactly what we needed for our overnight stay - clean, well-equipped. Some might find the room small (we were in the Queen Studio), but we don't care about that. There was plenty of room for the two of us and our bags, and the price was reasonable. Couldn't be more convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

This was AMAZING! Extremely clean (and I’m a nurse who knows what clean should be). It was a great place but there was only one thing I wished could be better but it’s not the hotels fault & that was the street noise level.It did make it difficult to sleep but the bed & pillows were so comfy & that helped. We will definitely stay here again!!!

A great hotel with a great location at a great price. Right near times square means you’re minutes away from great dining in any direction and right near all sorts of great shopping too. This hotel is one of the beat deals in NYC. You will hear the sounds of the city through your windows, but that just adds to the charm!

We were pleasantly surprised at check in that we were upgraded to a bigger room. For a 24 hour visit we weren't worried about a bed for 3 people but it was a fun surprise to have a living space and 2 bedroom upgrade! The location is perfect if you are attending any theater shows -walking distance to the theaters!

Great clean studio queen apartment with comfortable bed and pillows, clean bathroom with amenities and water pressure, kitchen well equipped, would have preferred fresh milk rather than powdered. Unfortunately room 1101 was so horribly noisy being subjected to constant noisy air conditioning systems for this building and others. The maintenance guy was able to take our portable system out which helped but still noisy, couldn't change rooms as apparently fully booked assuming it was spring break for the U.S. we were staying 5 nights. Only one of the two lifts worked but it was sufficient. You have to lug your suitcases up and down the front stairs as there are no ramps althoughthere isa wheelchair accessible lift. Hotel is so close to Times Square and Broadway and other attractions including shopping, restaurants/cafes, there is a supermarket within walking distance, you can actually walk to Central Park too and the Big Bus is useful.

Great budget option in Times Square/theatre district. The room was clean and included a small table with 2 chairs and a kitchenette with stove/oven, sink, fridge with freezer and plenty of dishes and cookware. The staff at the front desk were excellent and attentive. Location is perfect, close to all the theaters, subway and Times Square. Plenty of dining options steps away from higher-end Michelin restaurants to touristy chains to small delis and diners. This is a nice, clean lodging option that's great for those on a budget who want to stay in this busy location.

Radio City Apartments is a wonderful boutique hotel close to everything a theater-lover wants. The room was a great size for NYC and included a kitchenette (with a cute little four-burner stove) and dinette set. A mid-sized fridge was great for keeping breakfast foods and snacks. The only two points of improvement for us were that there is no A/C (fortunately we were able to open the window and be comfortable this time of year) and one of the two small elevators was out of service for our entire five-day visit. We did love receiving actual keys for our room and an old-fashioned mail box in the lobby to send postcards to friends and family. I would definitely stay here again - unless I'm visiting in the summer.

I’ve stayed at 3 different places over the past 3 years in Manhattan. This was the best overall. Only one small complaint as other reviews have mentioned was the elevator situation with one of the two being out of order. Luckily, we were on the 3rd floor and took the stairs up and down as a result, aside from our first trip up to the room with our luggage. Loved the combo crushed ice and filtered water machine. The room was spacious for NYC, very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was large and shower was efficient. The Wolfgang Puck brand coffee was yummy in the mornings. The heater had to be turned on by the maintenance person and was a bit noisy. Check in and check out were very simple. They held our bags for us without issues. The location really can’t be beat and was surprisingly quiet given how close it was to Times Square and all the action.

Was absolutley worth it!!! Clean, SPACIOUS, you have your own little kitchen, a large bed and everything you need for a little getaway! Everything is up to date as well and the a/c unit is brand new and works beautifully. Will definitely stay again! Especially because this is in a prime location! The staff are very friendly and welcoming too. Only thing that was a slight inconvenience was there are only two elevators and one was out of order and are very very small. Other than that, this was almost perfect. Will stay here again! Thank you so much!!

The room felt extremely small and claustrophobic - I even had to buy a fan just to get some air circulation. On top of that, only one of the two elevators was working, which made getting in and out frustrating and time-consuming. The constant noise from the street - even up on the 8th floor - went on day and night and made it hard to relax. Since this place is in Times Square, I’d recommend staying elsewhere if you’re looking for any peace and quiet.

I was pleasantly surprised by how accurate, safe, and clean Radio City Apts are. It’s not a huge hotel, which I like. We stayed on the 8th floor and away from elevators, which I requested. Kitchenette allowed us to have breakfast that I brought and coffee (provided) in our room vs eating out every meal. Just enough kitchen items to make a basic me, plus fridge and microwave to keep and reheat any leftovers. If you are doing Broadway and want to be near MoMA and Central Park, I highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised - our apartment was much nicer than the photos online had suggested. Sure the view from apartment was limited to the back of lots of buildings and we got some food cooking smells when the window was open, but we were in the heart of Manhattan, what do you expect?!
The apartment building was quite beautiful with original features and plenty of character. The staff were lovely, welcoming and extremely helpful.

The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The kitchenette had a full size fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, gas hob, kettle and toaster, plus all the crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment you might need. We found it especially convenient to be able to make breakfast in the mornings before heading out for the day, and to bring late night take out back and have a dining table to sit at!

The location was smack in the heart of Manhattan with Broadway at one end of the block, Rockefeller a block and half the other way and Times Square about a hundred yards down Broadway. You could easily walk to all the major attractions in the area (and we did!). With hop on/off tourist bus services, subway and general bus services, it is super easy to get around Manhattan from here.

I would definitely recommend Radio City Apartments when visiting NYC!

The room was a bit more spacious than others in the area and included a kitchenette. The rooms were visibly old and dated but still functional. It was also quiet with almost no street noise heard in the room. Hot water was a problem and usually not available in the morning. I was only able to take warm baths in the evening. The elevator was also very slow I ended up using the stairs even when carrying my luggage. Staff were efficient and helpful!

The apartment interior was great with the right amenities and was serviced well daily however there is one big negative. I was on the 7th floor and the street noise throughout was horrendous. I have stayed in NY before but in hotels on and a street off Times Square and the soundproofing to deter the outside noise from being heard within the room has worked fine so I have never been bothered by it. At these apartments I considered myself lucky if I got 2 hours sleep a night. Very often over the length of my stay I achieved much less and it is because of this that I wouldn’t stay here again or indeed recommend the property to anyone else. It is such a shame as the apartment interior was just fine. I fully understand that the property is in a busy location but as other properties l have stayed in have proved the street noise within a property in this location can be addressed successfully for the comfort of the customer.

I stayed here twice. First rental was spacious with large kitchen. Second rental had a small room and minimal kitchen area. I had to request a heater since the room was cold. This is a historic decorative building, so don't expect everything to be pristine and elevator can be slow, but I still recommend it. Excellent location near many restaurants and sightseeing highlights. This is in the center of Times Square, so expect city noise like all rentals in New York City. Friendly staff.

There was a bedroom door which was nice to avoid waking my husband when I prepared coffee in the morning. The hotel uses actual room keys and stored our luggage for us after we checked out which was very convenient. I would stay here again!

It is beyond my comprehension how this place has a 9 \"excellent\" rating. 1. It has single pane windows that do not keep out the cold air or sound. 2. There is no thermostat. If you like to sleep in a cold room, this is not the place for you. Unless you sleep in the tub (see next point). 3. For cold weather stays, there is no heat in the bathroom. The room has one radiator in the main living area. If it is cold out, you will freeze in the bathroom. 4. There is not hot water re-circulator. You will waste many many gallons of water trying to get it hot. (To save time with the sink, run the hot water in the tub to get it hotter faster. 5. As I said, it is a very old building with single pane windows. You will hear everything from outside - including the garbage trucks at 5 am. 6. They still use old brass keys. I have no idea what would stop someone from getting copies made and then returning and just let themselves into that room in the future. The only positives are the location (great if you want to stay in Times Square), size of room (large for NYC) and service: they allowed me to leave after one night and refunded my pre-paid second night (through Expedia). It is not 3.5 stars accommodation. Three is generous given the age of the place.

Our flight to NY was cancelled while we were waiting to take off (crew overtime issue!!) and we didn’t arrive until the 2nd day of our 3-day NYC stay. Unbeknownst to me if I didn’t inform the hotel we’d not arrive night 1 the remaining 2 nights got cancelled. We found this out upon our arrival at the hotel! We were told we’d be charged by Hotels.com AND have to pay again for the 2 remaining nights! Thankfully Javier at the front desk found a solution and we were not charged AGAIN. Very helpful. Great room with lots of character and amazing location. Highly recommend!

great place to stay! The location is perfect — close to great food, Times Square, and tons of shows. We had two queen studio apartments and they worked out really well. The view was nice, and my bathroom had been recently remodeled which was a great bonus.
The only small downside was that it was warm the first day we arrived and the room doesn’t have AC, so it felt a little hot at first. Luckily, the building is in a great spot to crack the windows and once we did, the breeze cooled the room down quickly.
The staff was also very friendly from the moment we arrived, which made the stay even better.

This is a great hotel! The rooms were the most spacious I’ve found in NYC. The location is perfect and so close to Broadway, Times Square, and Rockefeller. It was a warm March day during our stay, so we had to open the windows for some cool air. NYC sure is noisy, but actually being able to open a window was nice (though noisy). It seems like most places bolt them shut in NYC. Staff was helpful and courteous!
