I stayed for three nights for work. It was great. Next to plenty of places to eat or buy snacks. It would be great for tourists who don't mind walking an extra couple of blocks to Times Square, etc. It's on a quiet street. Good, small room with the perfect amenities: coffee maker, microwave, fridge, iron, hair dryer, tv. What more could one want?

Wonderful stay — clean, comfortable, and incredibly accommodating

I really enjoyed my stay at the Times Square Center Hotel. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and the entire staff was consistently friendly and welcoming.

Due to a canceled flight, I had to unexpectedly extend my stay, and the staff could not have been more accommodating or understanding during what could have been a stressful situation. That kindness truly made a difference.

The continental breakfast was great, with a nice variety of options each morning. One of my favorite aspects of the hotel was the lobby and dining area — it felt spacious, relaxed, and never overly crowded. Compared to the neighboring Holiday Inn, it was noticeably calmer and more comfortable, which I really appreciated after long days in the city.

Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely stay here again on future trips to New York. Highly recommended.

We booked three rooms for our group for an overnight stay due to a fight cancellation. We were so impressed with the hotel location the facility considering the price is so affordable. The staff was really courageous, letting us store our luggage prior to checking in time and also help us with directions to the local area. We will definitely stay here again when we visit New York.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient from start to finish. The hotel’s location was quiet yet ideal for getting around, which made it easy to relax while still being close to everything I needed. Breakfast was good with a nice choice. The only downside was that the rooms were on the smaller side, but for a short stay it wasn’t a major issue.

Thank You so much for a great stay! I really enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was also so freindly and helpful. My flight was cancelled due to the snow storm and I was forced to extend my stay two nights but they were very helpful and accommodating. I also love their lobby and breakfast area as it wasn't super crowded. My room was very clean, warm and not noisy at all which was so nice. I'll be back soon! Thank You!

The staff was rude and complete disappointment in customer service. I don’t recommend this hotel for a budget motel. It’s a cheap imitation and that’s saying a lot. The staff needs to be trained. My customer service from the very beginning absolute abysmal.

Room is very clean, carpet looks like it should be replaced. The toilet wouldn’t flush-I took the lid off and fixed it! And the sink drain is very slow. The front desk guy, Eric was very nice and directed us to a good pizza spot.

Very convenient location, was also affordable. Time square and most theater halls are within walking distance. The rooms are small but comfortable and suffice for sightseeing. We had an enjoyable stay here and would book here again if returning to NY.

When we arrive, we didn't get a happy greeting and then when we got to the room, we just knew that it was large enough to host some guess if they were to come over. It looks like we have to take it to the hallway that's how small the rooms were. We stayed at other Comfort Inns and they had room in there, but this was our first New Year's Eve close to Time Square, but we were in NEW YORK they do nothing small but now I see different. We will not be back to this hotel, but you wouldn't worry about me you have other that might have love it there but not ME. Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR

The hotel has a good location, especially for travelers going on a cruise, as it is close to the cruise terminal. Unfortunately, this is where the positives end.

The rooms are extremely small and poorly maintained. The cleanliness was far below an acceptable standard, with dirt, hair, and food remnants left in the room upon arrival. This created an unpleasant first impression and made the stay uncomfortable.

The internet connection was very limited and practically unusable. When we raised this issue at the reception, we were told that “this is just how it is,” with no attempt to resolve the problem or offer any form of compensation. The level of service was therefore disappointing and unprofessional.

Overall, a very disappointing stay, and unfortunately not a hotel I can recommend.

I never checked in!! The staff was rude and the property was not clean! I left and checked into another hotel. The way the front desk person spoke to me was absolutely horrible. I will never book with you again. I also will leave a review about the hotel. I lost $600 !!!!

We were given the 104 room - off the lobby
the lobby was consistently loud until at least one in the morning we had to call and complain. I’m a light sleeper. I could hear the microwave going off at two in the morning….set up in the 6 hour needless to say, I hardly slept
The line for breakfast was ridiculous so we just ended up leaving and going to the bakery around the corner because there was a tourist group from France which made things even more horrible at 7am
we we’re planning on staying in our room till 10 in the morning but we left by 8:30 because the noise was ridiculous

When I arrive the staff was rude to me. I had to wait over an hour for my room to be ready. I was so tired from a trip. Then they put me towards the front of the hotel. Which by the way was terrible because all you hear is the cars and trucks all night long. Didn’t get absolutely no sleep. When I was leaving in the morning. They just came into the room without nocking and it was only 9 am. I was undress and raised my voice and let them know I was still in the room. For the price I paid to stay. Was not worth the headache. At All. Will never ever stay here again.

Our stay was just ok. The location was the only good thing . Hotel was quiet which was very helpful coming back from being out in the city. Long wait times for breakfast , toaster didn’t work. Housekeeping also never came in to our room , we never got our towels changed and the trash taken out in the 3 days that we were there. I probably won’t be back again

The reason I did not give you excellant was because of the poor wifi connections. As a traveler it is so important with family and also accessing paperwork that I needed to download for tickets that were prebooked. A good wifi is a necessity, not a luxury these days.
The hotel was just perfect in every other way. So comfy beds, room clean and breakfast included.
15 mins walk to Times Square and subway.

Our door did not match the door frame and we could easily open our room just by sliding a credit card into the door frame and our door would pop open We didn’t like that. Overall the room was a place to sleep and shower while visiting NYC.

We used this hotel because it was walking distance from the Cruise Port in Manhattan. It was also close to a bus line and subway. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and Time Square was just a 10 minute walk. We spent a couple of days here and will be using it for our future cruises.

Ac unit could not be adjusted, had to unplug to change comfort level in the room. WIFI was useless, I had to work one of the days and the hotspot from my phone saved the day, I couldn’t open any work files as the internet was extremely slow.

Room was unattended to one day. Requested towels to shower and leave for dinner reservations. The towels dis not arrive, therefore, had to use one towel for three persons.

Also, an additional deposit was charged prior to our arrival and uncredited as explained to me that after our check, they would release the funds 7 days later. Hotel room was clean to be fair.

Although we had breakfast included, the breakfast area is small and gets quickly crowded, we abandoned breakfast most days of our stay as there was no seating available, this was disappointing as we chose this hotel specifically because it provided a simple breakfast selection.

Location was quite good but good for the price. Staff were very friendly, thumbs up. Room size was okay for New York and price. Facilities good, fridge was very appreciated. Room did get warm but ac was so good you just had to do quick blasts lol.
Breakfast was pretty good tbh... waffles, sausage, egg etc. Fruit juice and coffee was quite good also.
Overall a good experience and i would book again.
