The staff was rather great when checking in 🙂👍😊 but I can just say the water pressure was rather low when showering or bathing ,I can also say that the service at the bar was also no where to be seen I had to wait a while before someone saw that I wanted something to drink.

The pool was an added bonus. Lovely temperature.
Beds weren’t very comfortable as were too firm and the pull out bed wasn’t very comfortable for teenage daughter.

The hotel is fine but nothing more. Rooms are tired, bed was ok but not the comfiest. Room had 2 freestanding oil radiators as heaters which felt a bit weird
For the price there are definitely better options in central MK. Health club was again, average, but nice to have a pool.

Staff were great, however there was no hot water in the morning that was blamed on the hotel being busy and there was a constant noise from either the air conditioning or pipes or something else that went on all night. The hotel was nice but we couldn’t stay again and risk the water not being available and disrupted sleep

The reception is bright and welcoming and easy check in.
Our room was clean comfortable and had all that we needed. The heating wasn’t working properly but a plug in heater was provided.
We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.
The hotel is well situated and just a short walk to a very good shopping centre. I have stayed before and would stay again.

Good overall, had very little interaction with staff. The bathroom was filthy and clearly it took a lot of skimpy cleaning to get it to that state.

The mattress was way too soft and I ended up with a great deal of back pain.

Room was clean but very lacking in storage for staying more than a night or 2. Cleaners defaulted to provision of one big and one small towel despite being 2 of us (2 toothbrushes and mix of ladies and gents toiletries might have been a clue). Only able to use the pool once due to children’s swim lessons and capacity allowed which was very disappointing as was a main reason for choosing this hotel. Bar was nice and food excellent. Reception staff were functional but not really friendly - just going through the motions. Hotel is good location for centre of Milton Keynes but be aware that parking is expensive….park in a Ringo car park nearby for half the price and only a mins walk.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely lady on the front desk. She asked if I had children and gave me some bits that would help them to enjoy their stay too. Throughout our stay the team were very helpful, with advice on local amenities and info on the hotel. The pool and changing area were very clean

The room was amazing, as was the hotel. The colleagues serving breakfast were exceptional, very friendly, genuine and gave great customer service.
Only criticism I had was check-in. Young man on desk was very flat and felt disinterested. He processed my check in well, but failed to mention my room numbers or which floor I was on.
However, young lady on the desk when I checked out was the opposite; warm, friendly and genuine.

To be honest was my first stay in a holiday inn which was a bit poor....on arriving key cards were not working .then took 35mins to get taken to our rooms....the rooms were extremely hot even tho the aircon was on full cold and was very noisy... asked for a 2pm check which was denied alao ....so i would definitely not stay this hotel again....also breakfast was very ordinary on this occasion and for the huge price of it not worth it

After spending 1 night in the room that we originally got and due to some issues with room and cleanliness, I requested at the reception if our room could be changed.
The staff member at the reception, by the name of Tiana, was very apologetic and straightaway offered to change our room and gave us an upgrade as we were still going to be spending 2 more nights. That was a very kind gesture from the hotel group. This was our first time at the Holiday Inn, as we always book Premier Inn.
But Tiana saved me from not booking Holiday Inn again! Thank you so much.

A Truly Amazing and Unforgettable Stay!
My recent stay at the Holiday Inn was absolutely amazing, thanks in large part to their exceptional staff. We were there to celebrate a very special occasion: our anniversary and our daughter's birthday.
From the moment we arrived, we were met with incredible hospitality. The front desk staff, especially Cristina, was so friendly and welcoming. We were celebrating a double milestone, and Cristina had clearly listened to the notes provided. To our complete and lovely surprise, we found a few treats left in our room for the occasion. This unexpected and thoughtful gesture truly made our stay feel special and personalized.
The staff at this hotel are truly outstanding, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable and warm experience. We can't wait to come back!

I was expecting a standard hotel but was very surprised by how much I enjoyed staying here.
Apart from being clean, having parking on site and lovely restaurant, the staff made the trip!
The young man on reception (I wish I remembered his name) was just lovely! Very friendly and helpful and kind. He took time to talk to me and make me feel so much better after my very long day at work.
The waitresses in the restaurant were also really lovely. Helpful and friendly.
I would definitely stay here again!

Hidden charges and poor search criteria in the app

I am disappointed that;
1. Hidden charge for the parking £15 overnight, when I specifically searched for free parking.
2. The only other reason I chose this pool was because it had a pool, which has significant restrictions such as adult only swimming, not mentioned using the app, which meant we couldn’t use it
In essence the only two specific criteria searched for are failures and actually incorrect.

The welcome on arrival at reception was really warm and inviting.Staff were really polite and all questions or requests were addressed.
Having been to a musical festival and coming back in high spirits, it was wonderful to be served by bar & lounge staff Mandy. She had such high energy and was a total delight to speak with.
Overall, my 1 night stay was good vale for money.

Unfortunately there was a issue with the air con in the room. It blew hot air. There were 2 fans in the room too so they must have known there was a problem. We got very little sleep and it was so bad we cut our trip short and left a day early

The property was what was needed. Tidy and convenient although missing little helpful items such as power outlets next to bed and a safe. I slightly understand the exorbitant price for F1 weekend, since it was sold out, but this is the most I’ve paid at most F1 races by 2-3x, and those were 4 & 5-star hotels.
There isn’t enough to Milton Keynes to want to return.

M-F they offer send out dry cleaning services, but there’s no laundry available. Important to know on an extended trip to the UK.

I stayed here because I attended theMotogp. The hotel was a 17 minute walk to Milton keynes train station or a 5 minute drive. Plenty places for dining, and very quiet area. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, I highly recommend. The room itself was ok. I wish there was a refrigerator and microwave. There was no power outlet next to the bed. Weirdly enough, wash clothes wasnt included with the linen. The staff were great. I would consider visiting again.

Best thing about this hotel are the staff.

We stayed here the night before visiting Bletchley Park. We enjoyed the lobby bar. All the staff were really friendly and attentive. Our room was comfortable and adequate. Breakfast was really good. Well cooked, tasty and plenty of choice. The breakfast staff were also friendly and welcoming.Hotel is in walking distance of lots of bars and restaurants, a big supermarket and shopping centre- not that we had time to go there.

Rooms are INCREDIBLY hot

Rooms are blisteringly hot 24/7 due to an antiquated air circulation system. The “air conditioning” system does not actually condition the air. All it does is blow hot air around the room, even on its coolest setting. Spoke to other guests and they had the same issue.

It was so bad I woke up roughly every hour due to the heat. I resulted to wetting a flannel and placing it on me whilst I slept to try and keep cool. Eventually I woke up earlier that I’d like, got fed up, went for an early breakfast and checked out as soon as I could.

Spoke to the front desk and they said the building is incredibly old and is in the queue for a revamp, however it’s a long way down the list.

Staff were kind and helpful, but I absolutely cannot recommend sleeping in this hotel till they do something about cooling the rooms down.
