Started great by being offered a complimentary upgrade but, things went south after that, room was poor with unsafe electrics, cracked bathroom sink and stiff controls on the shower which took considerable effort (using both hands to operate)

I booked this hotel for my elderly parents as my mother had a hospital appointment close by, she is quite poorly, the staff went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable ! she had a special meal cooked for her that she could eat (she has this was not on the menu and also they also made her an oatmilk porridge for breakfast) this meant so much to her as she is frightened to eat out normally.

The evening Receptionist Charlie, he showed me excellent customer service. I was allocated room 229 and I asked Charlie for an additional electric heater because the room's heating unit wasn't heating the room to my likeing. Within a few mins, Charlie was knocking at my door with the heater and installed it. Lovely guy.

Lovely well appointed room. Clean and well maintained. The wifi was good and the TV was easy to connect to my phone so i could stream prime movies. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The room and bedding was super clean. Breakfast was great and the staff were all very nice. Parking is easy and free. couldn't reall find anything to fault. Would not hesitate to come back.

We stayed at this hotel to visit Silverstone Racing Circuit and to take part in the 2025 Adrian Flux Road Tour. It was a good choice for both.
On our arrival, although we had not booked an accessible room, and due to there being no lift, we were reallocated to a ground floor room, as my wife is awaiting a full knee replacement operation.
The staff were courteous and helpful.
We eat in the restaurant on the first night of our stay, and the food was good and service adequate, but the menu choices were limited, so we eat out on the remaining two nights of our stay. Also, for some unspecified reason, we were not able to charge the restaurant bill to our room account. I was happy to pay by card, but somewhat confused by this event, as I’ve not encountered this issue previously.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel as all our day starts were early and we chose to eat later.
The room was very pleasant with good location and facilities, but the room safe was locked on arrival and had to be opened by a staff member. Having used this type of self coded room safe on multiple occasions, I was frustrated by the strange operation of this facility which again locked itself whilst I was trying to set it for our use. Needless to say, I didn’t bother getting it opened again and just did not use it on this trip.
On balance, I would use this hotel again, being aware of the limitations, but being very happy with the room itself, and the assistance of the front desk staff.

Took 20 mins to check in as there was no one on reception and then when one person did arrive it took a while to clear the queue. My room was basically in the basement very far from the lobby. The area is residential and you can’t walk anywhere. Food options are limited. This is a hotel for overnight tradesmen and golfers.

The breakfast was excellent and the chef at the hot food station checked to see if everything was ok and was very attentive.

Not a great overall experience due to cleanliness, impacting comfort so would not stay again. Mould in window corners, cobwebs in many areas of room, smears on shower screan, dust on every surface. Finger prints on door handles. Made me very uneasy as to what was lurking on bedspreads and show pillows if these obvious need clean areas werent done. Holes in back of bathroom door, chips in bath, bathplug broken. Hotel corridors not hoovered 2 days we were there.

Enjoyed our short stay in the mecure (3 nights) we got the train down to go to Bletchley park and Stowe Gardens etc. it wasn’t within walking distance of anywhere particularly but taxi’s are only 10 minutes to wherever you want to go
We ate in the restaurant the first two nights and the food was great. Breakfast was lovely too. As the weather was nice it was good to be able to sit out on the terrace in the evenings aswell. Rooms were clean and had all amenities. If you are visiting that area I’d defo recommend. Thankyou for a lovely stay x

A very warm welcome, by Natalie. The communal areas are nicely decorated and inviting. Our room smelt musty and damp, overlooking the carpark. Natalie apologised and swifly upgraded us and we had a lovely view of the golf course. It was lovely and quiet.The bed was the comfiest I had ever slept in, and the air conditioning made for a very comfortable night.Parking is easy and outdoor areas well kept and pleasant.
There were a couple of issues that need attention. Stains on the carpet, and a dripping tap in the room. Some corridor doors were grubby and stairway carpet dingy. Overall a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel.

This was my 3rd stay and it was lovely as always. There was one gripe I had and that is that the WiFi was very poor this time. I did report it, and reception did send someone, but it had been working for 30 minutes then so I assumed it was all ok. Unfortunately 30 mins later it stopped working completely. I did try again when we came back from dinner, but it didn't work for the rest of the night. Hopefully just a one off. Other than that, everything else was great.

The hotel is really nicely, the venue itself is located in a nice area and the venue is clean and tidy.
The only downside that is a big negative point is the cleaness of the rooms, that was not done ,they just replaced the towels and done the bed, the carpwt wasn't vacuum, basin and toilet wasn't clean at all.
Also for a 4 star hotel i was expecting a fridge in the room.

Would just recommend that some staff seemed quite inexperienced and require some training on general customer service, ising initiative and serving at the bar when customers clearly waiting. We love love loved this hotel! Stayed the night before a festival at the bowl and it was a great price, especially considering there was a big event happening. The member of staff who checked us in was really friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were really clean and spacious, and we were so thankful for the brilliant air con as we were there during a heatwave. At midnight I went to use the water fountain to fill up mine and my partner's water bottles but it was broken, so the reception staff kindly filled them up for us from the bar.
It was the perfect rest we needed before our long day the next day. Probably the best hotel I've stayed at in the UK, and we will definitely be staying again for the festival next year.

When we arrived the room was at the top, as neither of us could handle stairs the staff straight away changed the room for us, it took away stress and made our stay very comfortable.

It is a very attractive looking hotel and the main reception and bar area are lovely but on my arrival the receptionist didn't even smile at me and answered my questions with one word answers and just handed me the key and sat down - really unfriendly, especially as I was on my own and it is a big deal travelling on your own. The bedroom was clean but the mattress was about 4 inches smaller than the bed base and there was absolutely nothing in the room to welcome you or tell you what time things were, Wi-Fi password etc. It was only when I happened to turn the tv on later on that I found a whole menu of options and info! The restaurant was pleasant and the staff were friendly in there and the breakfast was good.

We found Mercure Milton Keyes well appointed and a good price. The rooms are tasteful decorated and a good size, including the bathroom. We did not use the restaurant aside from breakfast and we enjoyed the buffet. We were there for a performance at The Stables and it was only 13 mins away so will stay again in the future.
