6th time in Majorca.
The accommodation is comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom flat with a nice living room, dinning area, 2 sofas, tv and a kitchen with everything we needed and also a little garden with 4 sunbeds. The location of the hotel is excellent. The big issue with the hotel is this; we booked a full board holiday and except the breakfast where you had different options, the lunch and dinner were the lowest quality food I have experienced in the past 6 years in palma. They didn't even have drinking water in the restaurant. Everything was to order and expensive. So If i was to re book this place, I will book it with breakfast only. I posted a picture of the dinner as an example to give you an idea about how poor was the dinner. I would recommend the place but definitely not the food.

Amazing location. 2 minites walk from the beach. Very attentive staff who are keen to ensure you have a great stay and lots of opportunities to get involved with different activites throughout the day/evening both kid and adult freindly. Bus access very easy to all parts of the island. Airport transfer very helpful both ways.

Our experience there was good. Our only issue with the room was the fact that they wouldn’t provide extra white blankets. It was cold and they gave us these thick scratchy blankets only. They said we were only allowed 1, but there were 4 of us staying there!

The are white lines to say parking spot, but in some cases it is not the case, and if your half asleep with 2 tired children....well you can understand I think haha. My mistake and take it on the chin.

We were a late arrival 4am, night manager was excellent purchased the half board offer at a very reasonable price. We got an excellent room with a garden overlooking the pool. Rooms were great size, two large bathrooms and good size kitchen living area. Beds were extremely comfortable. Good air-conditioning.
Restaurant had good selection for breakfast and dinner. Plenty on offer and a chef cooking out front.
Was nice to be at a hotel where kids could play and splash in the pool.

Beware!!
First of all, for anyone who is a tourist and would like to walk around, go shopping, go into town, bars, attractions and beaches etc. then don’t come to this hotel. it far away from palma and the airport is about 30 minutes away from the hotel. It is in it’s own little village. the hotel has its own supermarket, restaurant, beach (which isn’t great for kids by the way- lots of nudity). There are only two bars around the hotel and that’s about 20 minutes away. Now, this is the part that got me and my family very frustrated... it was the last day and we had already booked a transfer bus to take us to the airport it’s about 7:30 in the morning and we are ready to check out and get in the vehicle. The receptionist started saying that we had to pay an extra fee - country’s tax. Now i had already thought i had paid for everything when i booked with them because i had paid a huge amount including tax. So i didn’t understand why i was being asked to pay almost 50 euros... the man insisted that we pay and spoke to the driver in Spanish not to take us anywhere unless we pay! I’m from London so i don’t know anything about this tax thing that was only introduced in July.. it would have been nice for the receptionist when we first checked in that night to let us know about the payment because it took a lot of time out of our hands and it could have caused us to miss our flight!! So everyone be careful when coming to unknown destinations and ask about costs that you may not know about.

A good family hotel away from main tourist areas
This was the fifth time in 6 years that we have been to this hotel.
It have two swimming pools and a smaller \"jacuzzi\" pool.
There is a life guard on duty during the day.
As a family, the washing machine is really helpful. (This means that you don't need to take as much clothing away with you.) and the kitchen with microwave and fridge freezer is useful if you want to self cater.
The hotel has a nice feel to it. The staff are helpful and friendly.
Mini club 6 days a week for children upto 12.
There is a nice beach which is right next door to the hotel but you do have to walk down quite a few steps.
Approximately 5 local restaurants nearby and one restaurant in the hotel itself. These tend to be a bit more expensive than restaurants in other areas of Majorca.
There is a small supermarket in the hotel and also one across the road. These are more expensive than the main supermarkets elsewhere on the island.
A car is not essential but I would recommend one so that you can visit other areas and stock up on items from the main supermarket. (The hotel can also arrange car hire for you for one day or many days).
The hotel is great for families. There is a kids mini-disco and entertainment in the evening.

Nice hotel with great views but out of the way
7 of us booked this hotel with a 2 bed apartment. I was clearly contacting the hotel beforehand so I could get an extra bed on arrival. However, when we got the the hotel at around 3am the receptionist wasn’t very helpful and told us it was impossible to get another bed I even showed him the messages of request but he rejected them. I was informed by message before arrival that the extra bed fee was €7 a night but on arrival he tried to charge me €10. There was no warm welcome on arrival either just not what you need after a delayed flight. Now the hotel itself has good facilities, 2 pools, restaurant, cafe, supermarket and it’s own private beach which was lovely. The apartment size was decent and had everything you needed. Moreover, a little dissapointed that the room wasn’t cleaned in 3 days or towels weren’t replenished. Try to get a 3rd floor apartment for the views. This place is really far out and any other shops are 30 mins away.

Good hotel close to a lovely secluded beach,very little to do apart from lounging in the sun. Breakfast was good and the evening meal in the cafe was good but however a little expensive. Excellent pool area with plenty of sun loungers no need to reserve. Staff very friendly in the hotel but the joining supermarket were a bit rude at times. Good size rooms with all the needs of a self catering holiday.

We stayed for 3 nights in October 2016. Nice hotel in a great spot just above a beautiful little beach/bay. Very large apartment with fully fitted kitchen and nicely furnished, quite Spanish feeling. We hired a car so it was easy to find but it is a bit out of the way and very relaxing. Few nice restaurants nearby but as end of season it was bit quiet. Would recommend for a quiet break.

Cala Pi: almost an island on its own
Turned out to be a great choice for a week after taking pot luck luck with a very late booking. This meant we didn't have a great choice of apartment and our ground floor location looked out on the hotel's service road and the roundabout. Somehow this didn't affect our stay at all and we didn't mind even though clearly other apartments have wonderful balconies, with coastal/ocean views. The apartment was great for the four of us, nearly 4 adults now, and has a fairly well equipped kitchen.
The hotel is well kept and attractive, surrounding a couple of modest pools and next to the steps down to the really pretty little beach in the gorge which is great for safe swimming. Being one of the only beaches along this stretch of coast it is popular and gets quite crowded (and a fair amount of rubbish ends up in the water during each day).
Staff are friendly and helpful. We had one of those really frustrating experiences of really poor service the second time we used the hotel restaurant which meant we stayed away and used each of the nearby restaurants instead for the whole of the stay. Glad we did because they were all good! By the way, I put the bad service down to poor manangement and lack of staff training - not the staff themselves who were lovely but clueless.
If you are expecting to take advantage of the self catering facilities then its tough unless you have a car: I reckon its almost cheaper to eat out than to pay the prices in the limited \"supermarket\" attached to the hotel

It was great time for my boys 13, 9 and a little one 2.5 y.o. girl.
We have arrived in the hotel 2-3 hours before the check-in and were surprised with a news that our sea whew room is waiting for us! The hotel location is peace and quate, but not boring. It is like a little sity with own infrastructure.
The weather just settled 21-25c: not too hot, wery comfortable. The local beach with white sand and turquoise water!
The water in the pool is quite chilly, but it did not stop children and dads. My sons wanted to stay next to the pool all the time. Animation need to be more active and various (m.b. It was not a season for that), especially for little ones (under 5), just extra colourful monkey bars on the playground will pay off!!
We was in a family 2 bedroom suite - every bedroom has a greate size bed, living space is big enough to host, and have a sofa bed. There were as well a small kitchen, utility room (!!!) and washing mashin. Rooms in the simple classical meditarian style, clean and well organised.
The good and unobtrusive maid service is every day. Thank you!
Take a breakfast in the hotel - it's very good, try lunches.Mallorca is a haven for seafood lovers: rent a car and find the nearest Marcedona supermarket - there are vide range of good quality Spanish food.

Overall stay was very pleasant, hotel and area was very quiet due to time of season. Disappointed by the excessive WiFi costs and lack of voice in both the restaurant and cafe. Hotel supermarket prices very high but only a short drive to decent supermarkets. Cove is lovely but absolutely no facility so make sure that if you do venture down the 130 plus steps you take whatever you will needs such as drinks.

Having just come back from a stay at the Ona Cala Pi Club at the beginning of April 2016 I was impressed by the accommodation and its picturesque location overlooking a small sandy cove. The two-bedroomed apartment we were in was well-kept and spacious and was ideal for a family of five, being close to the swimming pools and restaurant, as would be the case for all of the apartments due to the layout of the hotel. The rooms were cleaned every day and the hotel staff were friendly and courteous. The children's entertainer was particularly good with a varied programme of activities throughout the day to suit all ages.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The pools were clean and well maintained with ample sunbeds positioned around the pool. I would recommend taking a hire car as the neighbouring beaches are some distance away. There was ample street parking outside the hotel.
Our room was on a self-catering basis but on arrival we were offered the options of breakfast only, or half board. We opted for the breakfast only and were pleased with the quality of the food on offer. The adjoining cafeteria was very reasonably priced, as was the supermarket, although you should expect to pay a slight premium for the convenience of buying your produce on the hotel grounds.
All in all this is a very comfortable hotel and made a perfect base for a relaxing holiday.

Great choice for family holiday
We had 7 nights in June, nice clean place with more facilities than expected. Our little one is 4 years old and spent most of the time either in one of the pools, at the beach or with the Happy Team doing some of the many activities that were on offer. As others have mentioned, Olivia was amazing with our child and made sure she was included and entertained as much as possible. More activities for the adults than I thought too, husband did water polo, shooting, archery and poolside stretching!
The one supermarket on site was expensive but we expected that. Cala Pi is a nice place out of the way.

Just spent one night here but wish it had been more. The apartments are great balcony and roof terrace and lots of room. Generally there were a few minor things that made the apartment a little in need of some updating but it was a great place to stay. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Getting to and from cala pi you really need a car or to use taxi's but the peacefulness of the village is definitely part of its charm and its just 50euros in a taxi from the airport.

Another great holiday at Cala Pi Club
Superb stay this year. For the last 3 years the only downside at the resort has been the hard beds. This year the beds had memory foam on top of the matress et voila, good nights sleep. Kids loved the hotel as always. The dark haired receptionist was a friendly, helpful gem of a lady, the tall blonde one was, as usual, gruff and unfriendly. Animation team and all other staff were brill.

We went just for a few days break at the end of the summer. The hotel and village were perfect and away from the hustle and bustle. The village has a number of great places to eat although check which nights they're open as they seemed to take it in turns to shut.
The beach and cove was stunning, the only recommendation is for it to get raked every so often to clean it up. The water and area to swim in was beautiful though.
A great base for a longer holiday (although you would probably want a car) and really relaxing and convenient short break. We'd definitely go back.

Lovely hotel next to a beach
We have just come back from our stay at Ona cala, and we have had a fantastic time. We were a party of five and had a two bedroom apartment. The apartment has a kitchen, living room with pull out sofa,TV and a balcony and it was clean. The hotel is right next to the beach, and it has two swimming pools and a gym. The animation team are brilliant with the children and guests, providing activities and games to entertain. The hotel also had theme nights on some nights, which was great, providing live bands and entertainment in the evening. There is a supermarket on site, which was handy for snacks. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and it was a buffet and they change the menu everyday. We will definitely come back again!

A little bit of heaven in Majorca
Stunningly beautiful scenery, totally unspoilt and untouristy beach and cove, spacious and clean apartment, two lovely pools, friendly staff and extremely hardworking, enthusiastic (but not overbearing) entertainments team, who were endlessly cheerful in playing poolside games with any youngster wishing to join in. The generous cocktails made at the poolside bar were a daily (and much enjoyed) treat! There are a small clutch of local eateries, literally a stone's throw from the Cala Pi Club. We (2 adults and 3 young children) can't wait to go back.

We arrived late after an evening flight, the reception staff were welcoming. When we got to the apartment we were extremely pleased by the size of it and the amenities. The apartment was cleaned daily, and the whole complex was spotlessly clean. The entertainment team were excellent putting on a variety of activities during the day. The position of the apartment was beautiful with a walk down to a lovely beach. However it would be no good for someone with mobility problems due to the steep steps. If you're looking for a quiet resort this is for you, however if you enjoy nightlife and the amenities a large resort offers it isn't. You would need to hire a car as it's quite off the beaten track. I'd recommend the apartments and I'm planning a return trip.

Great place for a family holiday
This is a very well designed apartment complex in a quiet part of the south east of Mallorca. It's well maintained, the staff are excellent and the accommodation is huge. It has a beautiful pool complex and overlooks a stunning inlet with a a gently sloping beach that is ideal for children. It's about 100 or so steps down from the complex itself, so it's easier going down than coming up again, however it's very manageable and was no problem for a three year old.

There are a range of offers on food you can pay for on arrival and the food was consistently of a high standard and varied throughout our week's stay. There's something for everyone and it was well prepared, fresh and good value for money. We took seven breakfasts and 3 main meals, which as a package worked out reasonably cheaply, which taking in to account that includes as much as you can eat and breakfast offers everything from cold meats, cheeses, fruit, cereal, pancakes, pastries, cooked ham/bacon, eggs, sausages etc etc and evening meals include a choice of starters, main courses and deserts this is a good offer and well worth considering.

Really off the beaten track
My wife and I stayed here for one night before an early morning flight from Palma airport. We thought it would be easy to find from Llucmajor, but discovered that this was not so (at least we could not find an obvious direct route). In the end, we hit the main Palma to Cala Pi road, and from there on it was easy! This road passes through magnificent cliff-top scenery, and is absolutely deserted!! On the following morning at about 8am, we encountered only one car (a police car which we met) in 12 minutes driving on a wide, beautifully surfaced, so much better than what we are used to even on main roads in UK. The small village of Cala Pi was exquisite and the Club was extremely well appointed - we had booked a 1-bedroom apartment, but were allocated a 2-bedroom apartment with a large lounge, a good bathroom and a small, but extremely well equipped kitchen (more than enough for our requirements). The bar/café/restaurant was also extremely good, although the buffet evening meal looked a bit of a scrum! However, the a la carte restaurant was separate, and we had an excellent meal nicely served. We will probably return for a longer stay at a later date, although there may be rather little to do in the area to spend a full week there (we only discovered the lovely secluded beach, the Club's swimming pools and walks on the beach, but maybe there are other attractions nearby.

transport to Cala Pi from airport should organise
Booking for transport should be organised by expedia/hotel.Cala Pi transport is just one bus. Bus going to Cala Pi finishes up to 5pm only. Small villagges has no taxi stands, so you can get stuck as there are no bus/train taxi access.
Hotel not built to with stand rain, rain water flooded apartments. Electric failure can make the hotel facilities at a hold. Restaurant close, no shops open. End up starving for the day.

great stuff as usual
Another fortnight of fun. Great apartment, great pools and easyish access to a beach in a cove that in October is quiet. The beds are not comfy but otherwise the apartments are of good quality. Given the microwave also grills and is an oven the kitchen is good. We always had hot water and the aircon was handy most evenings. The animation club for the kids is perfect, thanks Caesar.

Old style furniture and noisy neighbours
The room was of quite good size for a couple with two small kids, with two large bedrooms and a moderately-well-furnished kitchen. However, the furniture was very old-style, giving a general impression of discomfort; the windows are single-glassed with old wooden frames, making each noise in the neighbourhood at early dawn become a wake-up call; the tiled floor is practical but again old-fashioned and uncomfortable; and the noise insulation within the building is not good, letting you hear everything that happens one floor above, one floor below and next door. The four of us had a really bad night sleep the first night, and fortunately we were too sleepy the second night to notice all the noise around us. Overall, I feel I have paid too much for the quality we received, in a hotel that badly needs large remodelling works.

Lovely complex with great surroundings our apartment was great more than big enough clean and fully equiped, we had two large balcanys and a roof terrace! The food was a little pricey but tasty. Staff were all friendly and helpful.Cala Pi is tucked away so if you like to explore then a hire car is recomended. We are already looking at returning next year. Wonderful place.

Hotel complex was great, staff friendly, lots of entertainment, rooms very comfortable and food good. Beach was beautiful. It is quite remote which means its great for a relaxing break, a hire car is recommended however if you want to get about as there's not much public transport.

I stayed here with 3 small girls aged 1, 3 and 6, and had an amazing trip. The accommodation is the best I've experienced for the reasonable price I payed. Three bedrooms, two baths and all possible amenities required were included. The staff were very helpful, and the kids club was great. The fact that a glorious cove is attached to the hotel was not really publicised, so was an extra huge plus to our stay. I'd have to think very hard to find anything negative to say about this, but others might find the area quiet, for us it was all perfect.. We will definitely be back!

Had great time with our family and friends. The rooms were clean. The pool area is safe for children, not slippery and no sharp corners. The lagoon near the hotel is beautiful and the water in the sea is crystal clear.

The service here was impeccable and the hotel was very good value for money.
The apartment was 2nd floor, very clean, very spacious with a roof terrace, balcony, air conditioning, ample space (except for the tiny kitchen which had no oven, just a hob and microwave).
We chose on arrival to go half board for 5 of our 7 day stay as the local food shops are unbelievably expensive and there are only a few restaurants locally, this was an excellent choice and the range and quality of food was good. The greek taverna nearby was good quality simple food, better to book in advance as it is small.
The pool areas and jaccuzi were nicely situated amongst pretty garden areas with plenty of facilities to hand, bikes to hire, clubs, entertainment.
The apartments location is very quiet amongst pine trees above cliffs & a tiny pretty cove which is only 15 metres from the complex.
Palma is bustling and really interesting & only 30 mins away by car and the mountains are stunning & less than an hours drive. There is a beautiful national park along the same coast with some of the most amazing views I've ever seen (white sand coves, cliff walks & forest). We shall definitely go back again!

Fantastic family holiday
We had a fantastic time! It's ideal for families, quiet location and friendly staff. They have all day activities for the kids and the staff are really good at keeping kids entertained. They have activities for the adults too if you want to join in. You can access the beach from a stone steps by the side of the restaurant. We went half board the buffet has good selections with kids under 3 eats free. Over all its a good quality holiday for less the price. Will definitely go back.

Brilliant getaway
Really enjoyed our stay at Cala Pi Club Apartments. Nicely kept grounds, comfy, clean apartments. Kettle, microwave, toaster, even a teapot! We had a third floor apartment with roof terrace and BBQ with stunning views which was a bonus. If I go again I'll be reqesting the same. All staff were smiley and helpful. Beach needed a good raking over, but was fine, with safe sandy bathing area. Lovely walks around the cliffs. Nice taverna just down the road. But basically very quiet. Should have done the big food shop on the way from the airport at Puig on the road from Palma, bit of a way to pop back. But resort market was fine, nice croissants and bread, but a bit pricey. Another tiny mart over the road.

We chose the Cala Pi club primarily due to the great price during Easter break. It is a bit remote - a car is a must - but was not bad as a base for exploring the island of Mallorca. The facility was clean, staff friendly, and it was nice to have an apartment with space to spread out and also prepare meals (no oven but had fridge, cooktop, microwave). While clean, the apartment we stayed in could use a new couch, beds and curtains - they were quite uncomfortable - no cushion left in them. The apartments are not quiet - you can hear neighbors and people outside quite clearly - during off-season it was not too busy (still noisy) but I can imagine that is is quite loud in the summer. Good for families (kids loved the pools and walking to the cove). Overall, for the deal we got, it was better than we expected! Not sure we would have been so pleased if we had paid the full price for apartment.

My family picked this hotel because we did not want the stereotypical holiday of endless streets of \"BRITISH CAFE\" and \"ENGLISH PUB\", and we were not disappointed. Cala Pi is small, quiet and out of the way. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and our two children (3 and 6) had a great time with the kids entertainment crew. The three swimming pools were well maintained and clean, and the other activities for adults were run well. While there is a lot to do on site, I do recommend hiring a car to see the rest of the island- there isn't much else around Cala Pi (I had an excellent experience with Europcar). The beach was very quiet and almost entirely used by the hotel.

A nice family break
The reception staff were very friendly and efficient and after a speedy check in our apartment was ready, earlier than expected. The Apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pools were adequate, one for games and one for swimming although people did tend to reserve sunbeds early even though the sign says prohibited. The lifeguard said no diving and then dived in himself!!! All in all a good family holiday.

Found it via search here on hotels.com. Nevere been before so took a chance. Bout 1/2hour from palma airport. Well off beaten track but so restful. Great value in hotel for food. Excellent hotel with beautiful surroundings and garden area with three swimmingpools. Nice apartments although cleaning is good but could be better. Nice restaurant, cafeteria and pool bar. The best thing on our stay was the Kids club with all kinds of activities such as games, painting, toys and of course the mini disco at night all with wonderful, funny and kind people that took care of the children during their activities. A very pleasant stay for our family with two adults + three childrens.

Fantastic 2 bed apartments. Great for kids. Lovely pools. Quite a lot of steps to beach, nut not a problem for my 2 year old!!! Beach seemed v safe. Stock up on any food required for self catering in Palma as hotel shop v expensive for some things (prices in euros milk 2.50, 200g cheese 4+, margarine - v small tub 2.5+). Bread lovely, fresh at least twice daily and reasonably priced, though! We stayed in room 10 which had a massive balcony and a view of the beach (one of the few rooms which did) which I would highly recommend although not yet been refurbished, standard was still ok... Otherwise ask for a pool view!

A fantastic place, the staff couldn't do enough. Room was cleaned almost every day, the animation team were excellent and the reception staff were very helpful. We went for the half board option and the food was great too, It was a buffet and there was something for everyone. I am extremely fussy but even I found food I liked. I thought the only negatives were that the hot water ran out too quickly and the resort was a bit out of the way. We went for 2 weeks without a car. They do run excursions but they are quite expensive. There is a kids club and a few activities for the adults in the daytime as well as entertainment in the evening. Overall it was a very enjoyable holiday and we will be going back there but next time we will hire a car so we are not so cut off from the rest of the island.

If you want to enjoy a quieter side of Mallorca this is the place to be. Very good accomodation, restuarant - especially the buffet breakfast. Beach access via steps so you need to be fit! Will go again.

Great place for a restful break
Stayed here for five nights before joining a cruise out of Palma and have to say that we had a very enjoyable and restful stay. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and found it extremely roomy and well equipped. The apartment was serviced each day and we couldn't fault the service for efficiency and cleanliness. The pool area is well serviced by a pool-side bar and there are many pool side activities organised by the \"Animation Team\" for anyone who wants to join in, kids and adults alike. The only criticism I would level is that despite signs requesting that people are not permitted to reserve sun beds with towels, no one seemed to enforce this rule. Consequently, almost all beds were taken by 10 am each morning so I would advise an early start to ensure you get the sun beds you want.
The hotel does offer a variety of meal packages which are serviced in a buffet style restaurant. We however opted to use the local supermarket for breakfast and lunch supplies and eat out in some of the local restaurants within easy walk of the complex. The hotel does also offer an ala-cart restaurant which we a found to be of reasonably good quality. There is a bar area of sorts but to be honest we found this a bit disappointing as it's used for evening entertainment which was very focused on children so not exactly a place to chill and relax.
The resort is small and quiet without the usual collection of bars, clubs and souvenir shops. There is a very nice beach in a secluded cove with sun beds for hire and a small snack stall but be warned....the beach is reached by a steep set of steps which will take your breath away, specially during the climb back up!!!
All in all, we were very happy with our stay here and would have no reservations about returning in the future.

Nice resort about 20 minutes from Palma Airport. Hotel stuff friendly but not that much to do. Pool area nice but the water wasn't heated in October! Only two small supermercados and couple of restaurants. I would recommend for families but not for activity seekers. Rental car needed.
