Great friendly staff. Clean rooms with clear comfortable beds. For an all inclusive resort, the food was just okay. This is definitely a family friendly resort with lots of kids. The non alcoholic drinks were not very good. Cheaper generic cola wasn’t good. The beach and pool area were nice. Overall, I would stay again

Close to the sea with land train to Umag

We arrived early in the season (mid May) and before all inclusive was available hence it was fairly quiet. Generally the staff were very helpful and I guess some were new for the season and just getting to grips with their roles. Hotel was clean and tidy. Many of the local restaurants, facilities and trips etc were yet to open fully so a hire car was a must at this time of year to see the sights etc. Rovinj, Porec,Novigrad,Limski fjord, Pula Coleseum and Lake Bled (Slovenia) were worth a visit.

Great place - with just a few to be improved

Convenient and family friendly hotel to stay, with nice services (like snack bar between main meals). Like always, there's a little room for improvement of course: sunbeds (theoretically) cannot be 'reserved' yet many fellow guests drop a towel on one in the morning just to make sure they'll have a place later on. Even if hours will pass until that... REsult: no free sunbeds around the pool. The ones out at the seashore belongs to hotel but not covered with 'all inclusive' service - could be...
Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Anyway, still a nice resort to spend a vacation in whether it be few days or weeks.
Rather sure we'll return.

Not a great stay

With the exception of Victoria on reception who was excellent the majority of the staff clearly did not want to be there. Particularly a very stroppy blonde curly haired waitress in the dinner hall who went out of her way to be rude. Sunbeds were saved from the early hours of the morning so there was no chance of you getting one in the sun. Most of them were in shade by 12 o 'clock. We had to pay for a bed on the beach instead. There was a marquee put up in the grounds of the hotel that had music blaring until past 3 one night. The music was so loud it was vibrating the glass in the window pane! We did move rooms after the second nights ridiculously loud noise but you could still hear it. If we didn't have war plugs we would not have slept. The food was fine, although slightly repetative but this is what u expect from an all inclusive. The area of Umag is defiantly worth a visit, very few English people there though so if you like a conversation with others don't go. Croatia it's self is beautiful and I would highly recommend it.

We stayed a few days in a hotel. It is nice and clean, good food and great location,very close to the beach. But if you have a room with sea view it will be very loud at night. Staff are friendly.

Fun place

Beautiful location and friendly staff. Food tasted great but I am an American and was not ready for it. Id recommend not going crazy your first day or two. I took some swim goggles and there is actually a lot of fish around in little reefs that was awesome to see. Great place for kids.

We stayed at Melia Coral ultimately because we needed an extra night. The staff were extremely helpful. We do not speak Italian. We came to Umag to visit relatives who speak very little English. The staff were extremely helpful calling and translating for us over the phone on more than one occasion. The only negative was trying to get hot water to shower. We wasted a lot of water waiting for it to get hot. It only got warm. Other than that, the room was fabulous!

Hotel Sol Aurora- The Worst Service in Croatia

This hotel was terrible. Firstly, there was no \"All Inclusive\" deal. They told us when we checked in that the deal was for later in the summer and that we were not entitled to dinner, drinks, et cetera. On the whole, the service was the worst I have seen in Europe, let alone in the three times I have visited Croatia. Prices in the city and hotel were hyper-inflated & the owners were shameless in over-charging tourists for mediocre food. The reception desk at the hotel could not assist in the simplest task, we asked three times for extra towels and they failed every time.

Essensauswahl war eher schlicht, sehr für Kinder ausgelegt. Es gab jeden Tag fast das gleiche am Buffet. Schlangenbildung zwischen 18:30 und 20:00 war ebenfalls nicht optimal gelöst. Obst und Früchte fehlten. Hier und da hat man mal etwas Obst oder Melonen gesehen. Man musste schon schnell sein um davon etwas zu bekommen. Zimmer war voll ok. Am besten war der Strand und das Meer. Super Einstiegsmöglichkeiten und dann sehr lange seichtes Wasser komplett ohne Felsen, man geht nur auf weichem Sand.

Perfettamente collegata a tutto il circondario, affacciata sul mare con 2 piscine,camera spaziosa e pulitissima anche se bagno e serramenti richiederebbero ristrutturazioni. All inclusive con pasti abbondanti e buona scelta dei cibi. Dolci e frutta sempre presenti. Zona ping pong (2 tavoli) e noleggio bici interno e gratuito,attività di vario genere e serate con animazione o concertini. Bar a bordo piscine anche con pietanze in determinati orari. Zona magnificamente collegata con tutte le zone attigue raggiungibili in pineta. La struttura è in un grande comprensorio piacevole e silenzioso nonostante molto frequentato. Una bellissima esperienza.

Die Qualität der Speisen reicht von ungenügend bis sehr gut.

Die Liegen sind ausreichend aber immer vorreserviert.

Die Umgebung bzw. die Lage des Hotels und das Angebot all inclusuve, ist für den verlangten Preis gerade mal okay. Das Zimmer könnte besser sein. Die großen Balkonschiebetüre ist sehr schwer zu öffnen und zu schließen. Man benötigt dafür viel Kraft. Die losen Fliesen im Zimmer und auf dem Balkon sind nicht gerade sehr einladend. Ein bißchen freundlicher könnte das Personal auch werden, ganz besonders die Servicekräfte an der Barbereich. Das Reinigungspersonal bekommt von uns das höchste Lob. Sie waren immer freundlich, grüßten mit ein Lächeln, Sauber und sehr hilfsbereit.

We had a great stay for a week. 5 people in 2 rooms.
Nice and clean all the time and great location. Really close to the beach and pool.
Perfect All inclusive hotel.
Food was ok and beer and drinks was good. All though. Water you had to ask for at the bar all the time. Was hard for the kids to keep hydrated. Beer was available all the time, but water you had to ask for.
A little noice at the rooms, but nothing major.
So a great stay and we enjoyed it very much.

Personal ist super - sehr schnell u. freundlich, Zimmer sind sehr sauber, allerdings sind die Wände und Fenster sehr hellhörig, Essen war ok (Preis - Leistung)

Ein absolutes No-Go ist das Reservieren der Liegestühle am Strand und Pool, in den Hotelrichtlinien ist zwar das Verbot zum Reservieren niedergeschrieben, allerdings wird es nicht gelebt!

Beim Abendbuffet staut sich eine ewig lange Menschenschlange zurück und die Atmosphäre im Speisesaal ist sehr laut und ähnelt einer Massenabfertigung - es gibt leider keinen Außenbereich!

Zusatz: Aufgrund der momentanen Hauptsaison, sehr viele Familien mit Kindern, wir glaubten zu wissen worauf wir uns einlassen..

The hotel was ok, but there is a lot small things, not bad service, but never a smiling hotel staff.
no bad food, but it was not good, not bad cleaning ,but not super, a old waren down old hotel.
I will not go there again.

Prima locatie van het Hotel. Kamers matig, badkamer met schimmelresten, ouderwetse TV met sneeuwbeeld. Douche kop die alle kanten uitspoot. Niet goed werkende airco. AllInn info foutief door personeel aangegeven ivm tijdsduur.
Balkondeur niet goed sluitend.

Vacanza in Croazia fronte mare

5 giorni di relax. Nel complesso tutto gradevole. Molta scelta anche per il cibo a buffet sia per quanto riguarda colazione pranzo e cena. Con l'opzione all inclusive si continua a mangiare e bere dalle 11:00 alle 18:00.
Ideale per chi vuole godersi il mare e l'ombra, grazie alla pineta fronte mare.
L' atrio, il bar, la sala ristorante e l'esterno sono curati bene.

Aufenthalt war so weit in Ordnung bis Abendveranstaltung waren sehr wenig Essenauswahlt war begrenzt es könnte mehr vielfalt angebracht werden. Die liegen am Pool waren nicht für alle Gäste vorhanden Sonnenschirme haben komplett gefehlt und musste in der Früh um 9.00 Uhr anstehen um eine Liege überhaupt zu bekommen, eine Sanierung würde diesem Hotel sehr gut tuen.

Super Familienhotel in einer Art Naturschutzgebiet

Einzig und allein ein fehlender hoteleigener Sandstrand war das grosse Manko. Sonst im Großen und Ganzen super Hotel allerdings ein wenig überteuert für diese Leistung was angeboten wird. Liegen und Sonnenschirme waren auch knapp. Personal war sehr nett. Anlage hat viel Potenzial, muss aber noch abgerufen werden, Essensauswahl, Spabereich, Restaurant auf der Terrasse, bessere Küche mit mehr Nachtischauswahl etc. Für diesen Preis bekommt man beispielsweise in der Türkei ein Top 5-Sterne Hotel inkl. Flug Transfer.

Kein zweites Mal

Eine Renovierung würde nicht schaden. Der Pool war sehr schön, jedoch war ich vom Personal sehr enttäuscht. Freundlichkeit wird dort wohl nicht groß geschrieben. Essen ist OK, nichts besonderes. Von 19:00 bis 22:00 Uhr gibt es Abendessen. Wenn du um 19:00 hingehst sind noch ein paar hundert andere Menschen dort, somit ist es mega heiß und der Hunger vergeht einem. Wenn du dann später gehst (20:30) kann sein, dass es manches es nicht mehr gibt und wenn du dann nachfragst, ob es möglich wäre, dies noch zu bekommen, bekommst du nur eine blöde antwort. Halb volle Teller werden einfach abgeräumt obwohl man noch am Essen ist. Klima funktionierte sowieso nicht. Vom Badezimmer aus konntest du jedes Wort vom Nachbarzimmer hören, da fehlten irgendwie Platten. Habe in Kroatien schon 3 Stern Hotels gesehen, die weit besser waren.

Semplicemente favoloso, con buona cucina e servuzi

Arrivati alla reception del ci accoglie con un ottimo italiano un receptionist davvero professionale il quale in pochi minuti ci consegna le chiavi della stanza. Nemmeno il tempo di girarci che un \"portantino\" ha già posato i ns numerosi bagagli su un carrello per portarli in camera. Saliti al terzo piano abbiamo il piacere di constatare che la ns tripla ha vista mare è pulita e con letti comodi.
Dalle 19.00 alle 22.00 si può cenare e affamati ci dirigiamo a uno dei due ristoranti, dove un apprezzabilissimo buffet con primi, secondi di carne e pesce e numerosi contorni caldi e freddi ci accoglie.
Dopo la cena, soddisfacente, gustiamo un ottimo espresso al bar principale (ce ne sono altri due) e più tardi un tè, mentre i numerosi ospiti tedeschi, polacchi e russi continuavano a svuotare bicchieri di birra, coca cola, cappuccino e amari vari, tutto gratuitamente.
La mattina colazione abbondante e internazionale sempre a buffet dalle 7.00 alle 10.00.
Dalle ore 12.00 alle 14.00 si può pranzare sempre buffet e continuare a mangiare anche dopo al ristorante bordo piscina
Ho apprezzato la possibilità di prenotare delle rose grazie al receptionist e soprattutto la bottiglia di prosecco recapitatain camera x il compleanno di mia moglie, ancora grazie.
Cio detto noi ci torneremo con immenso piacere

Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, Essenvielfalt könnte verbessert werden abwechslung die lange Anstehtzeit an der Ausgabe. Was verbessert werden könnte wäre dass nicht anstehen in der Früh am Pool bis er geöffnet wird man
kommt sich vor wie z.B bei Aldi wenn es Angebote in beschränkten Stückzahl gibt und jeder Stürtz sich auf dies.
Die Fenstersanierung dürfte auch fällig seiin,

abbiamo trascorso una bella vacanza con la nipotina .Ottima piscina per grandi e piccoli.Serate sempre accompagnate da musica o altro intrattenimento .Anche il terzo anno in questa struttura ci ha pienamente soddisfatto.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön und gut angelegt, da der Strand gleich vor der Tür ist. Haben dort ein nettes, schattiges Plätzchen gefunden, und konnten direkt ins Meer gehen. Die Zimmer waren komfortabel, wir haben zu dritt (31m2) angenehm Platz gehabt. Die Hotelanlage war schön eingerichtet und das Personal freundlich.
Aufgrund der Erkrankung meines Mannes konnten wir nicht so lange wie geplant bleiben. Ich möchte mich bei der Hotelleitung nochmals herzlich für das Entgegenkommen und Verständnis bedanken!

La struttura è inserita in una pineta molto grande, verde e ben tenuta. Nelle vicinanze sono presenti altri hotel ed appartamenti della stessa proprietà.
Unica nota negativa è che la pulizia delle camere inizia presto (ore 8). Ricordatevi di appendere il cartellino \"Do not disturb\"!!

Hübsches Hotel direkt am Strand mit Pool,

Hier kann man sich wohlfühlen, überall Sitzgelegenheiten mit Bar und abends kann man noch am Meer spazierengehen. Man kann die Ruhe genoeßen, kein Lärm, da Umag ca. 2,5 km entfernt. Es fährt aber eine Strandbahn (auch abends) in die City.

Schönes Hotel direkt am Strand

Es war ein schöner Kurzurlaub. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Lage des Hotels super :-)
Die TV-Geräte sind ein wenig alt, aber das stört eigentlich nicht. Leider waren im Badezimmer vereinzelt kleine Käfer... das war weniger schön. Das Frühstücksbuffet fanden wir besonders lecker, es gab eine wirklich unglaublich große Auswahl.

Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir zufrieden und haben die Tage in Umag sehr genossen :-)

großes Hotel direkt am betonierten Strand

Waren Ende Sept 15 im Sol Aurora. Man spürte deutlich, dass die Saison am Auslaufen war, ringsum und auch im Hotel selbst wurden Liegen und Sonnenschirme abgebaut, so dass man das Gefühl hatte, am nächsten Tag wird alles dichtgemacht. Ziemlich große Anlage, in der Hauptsaison würde ich dort ungern Urlaub machen, da es die Mahlzeiten nur im geschlossenen Speisesaal gibt (Kantinencharakter), und obwohl das Hotel bei unserem Aufenthalt mit nur noch wenigen Gästen belegt war, war die Geräuschkulisse schon enorm hoch. Der vorhandene Pool ist in der Hauptsaison dann sicher auch viel zu klein. Zimmer war ziemlich klein und eng, die Reinigung meiner Meinung nach sehr oberflächlich, Aschenbecher auf dem Balkon mussten wir selbst entleeren, da er übersehen wurde, die Badewanne wurde nie ausgewaschen (sichtbar an den darin liegenden Haaren), der Waschtisch wurde auch nie abgewaschen, nur das Becken und der Spiegel. Frühstück und Büffet waren ok, reichlich Auswahl. In der Nachsaison kein all inclusive mehr, nur HP.

Mala experiencia.

Nuestro destino era Pirán pero como no conseguirmos lugar llegamos a esta opción \"all inclusive\". Sugiero que el hotel quite este termino de su nombre y propaganda ya que confunde a los usuarios, que si leemos todo incluido, esperamos un todo incluído. Esto no era así! de mala gana nos lo explicaron en la recepción y llegamos al cuarto despues de pasar por pasillos sucios y de alfombras todas manchadas. Entramos al cuarto y no estaba en buenas condiciones. El hotel en general no cumple las condiciones para merecer 4 estrellas. Solo se puede destacar el buen desayuno.

Hotel mit optimaler Lage

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und mit Meerblick.
Das Essen (Buffet Morgens uns Abends) war abwechslungsreich und hat immer super geschmeckt.
Der Weg zum Strand ist perfekt. Vor dem Hotel fährt die Bimmelbahn direkt ins Zentrum von Umag, die Fahrt ist ein sehr schönes Erlebnis, immer am Meer entlang. Abends wechselnde Livemusik.
Alles in Allem einfach perfekt für einen schönen erholsamen Urlaub.

Hübsches Hotel in strandnähe

Wir waren im September 4tage im sol Aurora. Wir hatten ein toll gelegenes Zimmer fast direkt am Pool. Service ist super freundlich und immer Bedacht darauf alles sauber zu halten. Negativ empfanden wir die massenabfertigung im Speisesaal und die Regelung mit den Fahrrädern. Wir wollten uns zwei ausleihen und leider waren alle laut Personal für zwei Tage vergriffen,obwohl alle im Garten standen.

stupendo soggiorno di una settimana; staff dell' hotel eccezionale, soprattutto per l'animazione per grandi e bambini; l'unica pecca che se si vuole un ombrellone e sdraio sul mare bisogna pagare perchè non compreso nell' all inclusive, dentro l' hotel servizi e intrattenimenti eccellenti

Erreichbares Paradies zum Erholen! Wir kommen wied

Traumanlage am Strand!! Wlan funktioniert erst beim 3. Code. Hauscomputer für die Gäste waren nicht online, was Receptionist etwas unfreundlich nicht glaubte, es dann selber anstecken musste und ohne Entschuldigung weg ging!!

Piacevole soggiorno a Umago

Soggiornato con due amici a metà agosto e nonostante la sfortuna del tempo variabile il soggiorno si è rivelato piacevole. L'albergo ha un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, all-inclusive con alcolici locali anche se mancavano cocktail tra cui scegliere e bisognava farseli un po' al momento (i classici rum e coca, vodka e succo d'arancia, ecc), molte attività per passare il tempo tra cui biciclette a noleggio gratuite e sezioni di fitness fuori e dentro l'acqua in compagnia di Philip, istruttore molto simpatico e preparato. Camere spaziose e pulite, cibo di media qualità. Piscina un po' piccola in rapporto agli ospiti durante la stagione di punta ma la pineta che circonda l'albergo sopperisce al problema. Il mare, molto pulito, è di fronte all'albergo ed è possibile noleggiare a un costo contenuto sdraio e ombrelloni nel terrazzone asfaltato a ridosso dell'acqua (non c'è spiaggia), ma volendo ci si può stendere con il proprio telo senza pagare nulla. Personale cortese, cittadina di Umago che vale una visita. Chiudo segnalando la presenza di mooolti bambini piccoli che, a tratti tra pianti e urla, risultavano abbastanza fastidiosi (colpa dei genitori, mica loro, ma tant'è). L'albergo ha infatti un mini-club ben organizzato con animatori e quindi risulta meta prediletta di famiglie.

Buono ci torneremo

Ci siamo trovati bene, edificio immerso nella natura a 2 passi dal mare. Camere e zone comuni pulite.
Cibo discreto e varietà nelle pietanze , praticamente imposdibile non trovare qualcosa di proprio gradimento.
Piacevole la possibilità di utilizzare le biciclette dell'hotel.
Da migliorare l'applicazione del regolamento in piscina che è presente ma nessuno lo rispetta ne lo fa applicare.

Puro relax!!!!

All inclusive!!!!! Fantastico!!!! Colazione , pranzo, cena , \"merenda\" e bar a disposizione!!!! Buona cucina!!!! Buon vino bianco alla spina. Il mare vicinissimo, un bel prato con alberi e relativa ombra! Un bella piscina! Varie attività! Camere pulite. Puro relax!!!!!

All inclusiv vero

Bellissimo albergo vicino alla spiaggi. Ideale per rilassarsi e staccarsi dal quotidiano. Con all inclusiv abbiamo avuto veramente tutto incluso. Unica nota meno positiva la stanza. Non era per tre. Ma la gentilezza del personale ha rimesso a posto la situazione.
