The villas are located in the environmental oasis that is the apartment village Stella Maris, 2 km from the Umag town centre. Guests will find a selection of restaurants, bars and nightclubs within short walking distance, as well as the beach and plenty of shopping venues.
The community of Stella Maris offers villas scenically located at the lagoon, connected to the sea via a little bridge in the shade of the pine forest. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy, besides the luxury of the villas, the new resort beach with promenade and sun terrace, a new swimming pool complex, gastronomic offerings and the new high quality resort restaurant, Al Mare, as well as other attractive services essential for any quality family holiday.
Cars are not allowed into the resort. Parking for guests is located at the entrance to Stella Maris.
Inside the eco resort, transport is provided by electric vehicles that are at guests' disposal for moving within the resort. The resort features a total of 180 villas and welcomes guests to this air-conditioned establishment in the lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, as well as a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a newspaper stand.
Younger guests are bound to enjoy the kids' club and the children's playground, while all age ranges and tastes are catered for at the resort café, bar and restaurant. After dinner entertainment is provided at the resort disco.

Stayed only one night in this property and we learned it was the last night of the season. The whole village closed the next day for the winter.

Nice hotel, the main picture is a bit 'enhanced' when it comes to water clarity and the glorious deep blue - water is still clear and nice, but you cannot really go for a swim in front of villas, it's too rocky. We tried 3 restaurants - O Grill was good (the waiters might put more smile on their faces :), Laguna simple pizza place, was good. But Stella Maris all you can eat buffet, opened only for b-fast and dinner was a nightmare. We tried dinner there once - crowds of people, line-ups, screaming, running kids, no, thank you. Price was 105 kuna per person. Suggestion - instead of hours only 7-9pm, open like 5:30 pm to lessen the hordes of people! There were 2 sand beaches, couple with man-made entrance into the sea by ladders. We experienced some small cute jelly fish floating around in the mornings (non stinging!). The indoor pool, on top of numerous outdoor, was a definite plus. Our teenagers rented bikes and jet ski once as well. We went to Umag on a local little train that runs every 15 mins (20 kuna per person/ride). Overall really nice - and as I said, some staff could be more pleasant. One young man who drove us on the electrical car to our van remarked - \"It's the older people who survived the war, they don't have much smile on their faces. Us, younger people, we have no problem.\" Thank you, young man, for being honest!

Nicely laid out villa in large wooded complex which are spaced out as not to look over each other. The rooms were a nice size for 2 people 4 would be a bit cramped. The bathroom and kitchen had everything you need, fresh towels and cleaning services everyday.

Fantastic place to stay...we had a 2 bed and 2 bathroom villa for a teenage family of 4 and this suited us perfectly...small kitchenette which we used for breakfast but enough restaurants on the resort as well as a grocery store for everyday purchases...like is like an upmarket CentrParcs based in Croatia except you are right near the sea with loads of water activities...we hired a boat, went jet skiing and some scuba-diving...there is even a little train that takes you to Umag where there are tons of places to eat...terrific place to stay...villas were cleaned everyday, with a nice veranda to sit and enjoy dinners...there was even a stone baked takeaway pizza place where you could order pizzas and sit on your veranda with wine to enjoy the evening dinners...Ice cream parlour brilliant, weather brilliant and staff brilliant...cant complain at all...highly recommended... sunsets amazing

Generally a nice place to stay with small self contained apartments.
It was right at the end of their season so many things closed, and the indoor pool was barely heated and too cold to make good use of.
But good value, very peaceful location and stay.

We came during off-peak season (late september) so there was not a big crowd there which was nice as it was very quiet and peaceful. However, many activities and business were either closed down or operated at shorter hours due to the end vacation season but the location was beautiful and the accomodation was very nice, comfortable, clean and private! Cookwares provided were in excellent condition. Overall, we loved it!

Nur leider hat nun die Qualität sehr nachgelassen. In der ganzen Villa hat es nach Kanal gerochen - konnte man kaum aushalten. Es hat auch geregnet und das Haus war nicht dicht. Es hat hereingeregnet. Der Geschirrspüler war auch kaputt.
Seit letztem Jahr haben sie einen neuen Supermarkt am Gelände der unglaublich teuer ist.
Generell noch immer eine schöne Anlage nur die Qualität lässt nach.

Tolle Lage direkt am Meer mit umfangreichen Freizeitoptionen, Restaurant Al Mare super, sehr freundliches Personal und gute Auswahl, Kaffee allerdings gewöhnungsbedürftig. Negativ: Bäder haben nach Regenphase stark aus den Abflüssen gerochen, was sehr störend war in Anbetracht der hochpreisigen Unterkunftskosten, trotz Mitteilung an die Rezeption keine Abhilfe und auch kein sonstiges Entgegenkommen, zudem keine wirkliche Zimmerreinigung (bis auf Müll- und Handtuchwechsel) und keine Möglichkeit für Selbstreinigung, da weder Besen noch Staubsauger vorhanden waren.

Der var virkelig god service og personalet var meget søde og servicemindet. Der blev gjort rent og redt senge hver dag hvis man ønskede det. De var dog ikke så gode til at fylde op med sæbe og toiletpapir. Især det sidste der måtte vi tage fat i receptionen før vi fik fyldt op.
De havde ikke helt styr deres udlejning af badehåndklæder - da vi spurgte til det blev vi sendt frem og tilbage mellem receptionen og pool personalet. Til sidst opgav vi.
Der er flere spise muligheder på selve området som er et stort resort, men kvaliteten af maden er lidt blandet. Det kan godt svare sig at tage ind til Umag, da der er flere restauranter og kvaliteten generelt virker til at være lidt bedre.

Anlage selber ist sehr schön, mit schönem Meer / Strand in Richtung Westen für schöne Sonnenuntergänge! Gute und viel Auswahl an kostenfreien Liegen, man kann auf der Wiese oder auf Steinen liegen und die Menschen verteilen sich gut auf der Anlage, sodass es trotzdem ruhig ist.
Die Häuser sind leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die vergilbten Tücher über den Betten sollten sie dringend abnehmen, die sorgen für keinerlei wohlfühlfaktor. Leider auch etwas Schimmelprobleme (klar, bei der Feuchtigkeit am Meer!) in den Häusern - hier wird aber bestmöglichstes getan zum Beseitigen. Ebenfalls viele komische langbeinige Käfer, aber da kann die Unterkunft nichts dafür, ist halt die Natur ;)

Ok.. aber...
... die Villas sind in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch werden diese nach und nach renoviert. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist eigentlich in keinem Verhältnis für den Service den man bekommt. Die Lage ist ansonsten sehr schön und es hat beim Meerbereich viel Schatten. Beim Aussenbereich des Hallenbades würden Sonnensegel (die Infrastruktur dafür ist ja gebaut) gut sein, damit man auch draussen liegen kann.
Vielleicht kommen wir wieder, wenn aber nur in die Umgebauten Villas, denn sonst ist der Preis eigenltlich nicht gerechtfertigt.

Das Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier leider nicht. Die gemietete Villa war nicht im besten Zustand, Vorhangstangen hingen teilweise lose herunter, im Bad hatten wir eine Ameisenstraße und die Sauberkeit ließ auch zu wünschen übrig. Schön war der Strand mit den Föhren/Pinien und es gab ausreichend Liegen. Wir waren aber in der Nebensaison unterwegs, wie es im Juli/August aussieht, kann ich nicht sagen.

The apartment was not clean, the fence door was broken, there was no room service anyday. The kitchen equipment is very poor and there is nothing to be used for washing the dishes. Many things were also broken on the bathroom.
The public areas are also not in the best condition, my husband felt on the beach, the stairs were not clean and it was extremely slippery. You also don't have much privacy in the terrace, villas are very close to each other.
The staff is not particularly friendly and helpful, many bars and estaurants are closed or low on staff. Not worth the price at all!!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Anlage war sehr gepflegt, nach einem schweren Sturm am ersten Tag wurde innerhalb von 2 Tagen fast alles wieder in Ordnung gebracht. Die Preise im vorhandenen Supermarkt waren sehr fair. Das einzige was mich gestört hat war, das alle Restaurants um spätestens 21 Uhr geschlossen wurden, oder eins davon gar nicht erst geöffnet war die ganze Woche. Ausserdem haben wir glücklicherweise vorher in den Bewertungen gelesen gehabt das keine Kaffemaschine vorhanden ist, wir haben unsere eigene mitgebracht. Aber im großen und ganzen alles Top

Das Konzept mit den eigenen Villas mit Terrasse hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Meer, Hotelrestaurants, Supermarkt sind ganz, ganz nah. Sehr häufige Verbindung nach Umag mit einem kleinen, offenen Touristentransportzug. Schattenspendende Bäume am Strand. Bei uns wurde das Licht im Bad kaputt und wurde noch am Tag der Meldung repariert. Es waren viele Familien dort, wir sind als Paar gereist und mir hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Ich hatte extra eine \"Villa\" in diesem Resort gebucht, da meine Erwartung war, nicht so viel Kocherei zu haben, als wenn man ein reines Ferienhaus bucht. Ich dachte, das Buffetrestaurant würde mir hier einiges abnehmen. Aber weit gefehlt: Das Essen war wirklich lausig. Billigste Zutaten zusammengerührt, kaum was Frisches, alles sehr fettig und fad oder überzuckert, alles schmeckte nach Nestle und Unilever und war vermutlich Glutamat-getränkt. Also doch selbst kochen; aber wie mit dieser Küche?? Ausstattung war quasi nicht vorhanden. So hatte ich am Ende mehr Arbeit als zu Hause und war echt etwas genervt.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in unserer Villa für 4 Personen, das Meer war ganz nahe, gute Infrastruktur, der Parkplatz ist am anderen Ende der Ferienanlage, aber man wird mit Gepäckwagen ganz einfach transportiert. Angenehm wenig los in der Anlage, weil Anfang Juni. Die Kinderbetreuung in der Anlage war aufgrund der Vorsaison nicht gut, nur im Gebäude für 3 - 6jährige, dementsprechend das Spielzeug. Und das Telefon war kaputt, so musste man immer wieder vorbeischauen, ob alles ok ist. Das hatte wenig Sinn.
