if someone wants to vacation back in time in the 80s, this is the right place, the apartments don't have AC or fans like they used to have once upon a time,no wi-fi ,tv is model late 80-is the check-in time took me exactly 2 hours in line without anyone coming out and offering water, the pool closes at 7pm, the kitchen in the restaurant at 5pm, I don't believe that the toilet by the pool is ever cleaned, they let people swim in their clothes (part of eastern culture and guess), how rude everyone is, I won't waste time writing,never again what a waste of money and time

Overall, the place is a little runner down and small but it gets the job done. It has such a beautiful view and easy access to the beach! Wouldn’t recommend it for children but for adults a great getaway!

Very unpleasant experience! The furniture smells badly if you open doors. Kitchen cabinet is tiny and very old. There is lack of cups, utensils. I was begging for pan 5 days and did not get it.

You get what you pay for

Tired, outdated facilities. We didn't have a hot water, they sent someone to fix - it was working one night only. No wi-fi except the reception hall. Front desk staff is friendly and multilingual. Location is great with in walking distance to the beach and town. Cannot complain too much for the price we paid.

Great apartments for the price. A little shabby but only to be expected for the cost. I would have highly recommended it to those on a budget were it not for the extremely loud PA system delivering the music nightly till 2am. Windows shut and earplugs did not block it out- couldn't quite get my head around why it needed to be like that. Staff were lovely though- helpful and very pleasant

This place grew on us

We did realize it was an enormous complex of hotel appartments, with adjoining affliated resorts. It was a great place for our dogs, with a beach just for dogs. Lots of fun activities, kayaks, massages, bikes, boats, tennis. All resonably priced. We found the staff helpful, especially when we need a mechanic for our car and needed at last minute to stay another night. Especially one gent named Salem, really helped us out. The mechanic across the street was also great. This place is a tennis aficionados dream with a tennis academy nearby. Lots of family activities, or night time adult activities. The water access is not a sand beach, they are not common in the area. But the water was clean and clear, good for snorkelling. Also swimming was nice with areas cleared of mucky plants. Overall budget friendly, activitiy rich, chill place, the room was just fine. Not fancy, but good enough.

Perfect, cheap getaway.

This is the second time I have stayed here. This time it was midweek and out of season. We had the place to ourselves. All services were still open as usual and the staff were helpful and friendly. My daughter loved the open spaces and pool. It is close to the stone beach, but the sea is clean enough to swim in. We shall return.

Great place to vacation with your dog!

My husband and I wanted to take a weekend trip with our dog. I found this hotel to be only a short drive from our home in Italy and a great place to bring Sigmund. The hotel room had everything that we needed (a small kitchen, refrigerator, stove top, dishes, pots, pans, and eating utensils).

Convenient and Easy for the Price

Some reviewers have given this hotel very bad reviews. It is a very dated facility and the exterior could probably go for a painting but it a very convenient hotel for the price you pay. There are 2 markets on the resort as well as a bunch of touristy shops. There are 3 waterslides, which they charge 3Kn ($0.50) per ride and a couple of pools. The beach is very rocky away from the resort area although they have taken the steps to concrete an area in so it is better. The water was nice and warm but there was a bit of seaweed in areas. The hotel room is comparable in size to other European rooms, but if you're going here to spend the time in your room, you would probably want to go somewhere else. There is a small bedroom, a separate bathroom, a small kitchen in the entrance foyer and a separate living/dining room area with a balcony. The listing also says that there are grills available. This is false, while there is an open pit chimney/grill on the fireplace, there is no grating to do any BBQing. All in all, if your looking for a beachside resort in Europe, it would be hard to beat this resort for the price.

Sol Polynesia - what a disappointment!

After reading the other reviews, we thought we would go there and decided for ourselves what it was like. What a disappointment! The only good thing about the apartment, was its location. It was so small and I struggle to see how 5 people are supposed to sleep there. As a family of 4 with 2 small children, it was a tight squeeze already. The kitchen was minute, only 2 stoveplates and the minimum utensils. No kettle or even toaster. We ended up having take aways most of the days. The shower doors fell off everytime you climbed in and with cold water dripping from the roof it wasn't a great experience. At least the place was relatively clean - a tiny consolation. I would definitely recommend Katoro and the beaches there for a family, but if you want to stay in Sol Polynesia, don't expect anything - even then you'll be disappointed.

1970’s nightmare Apartments!

We stayed 2 nights at the “Sol Polynesia Apartments” and wanted to leave as soon as we walked into the lobby, very compliance at the front desk and throughout the complex, they took our passports for check-in purposes and place them on a shoe box within reach of the customer counter, needless to say I did not leave the lobby until I got them back. I spent most of my time fixing items in the Apt i.e. windows, shutters, toilet, bed. Call the front desk to complaint and was giving the run around, finally I decided to compile a list of damages and turn it into the front desk, directly to the manager!
The Umag areas are a big tourist trap, drive the extra 45 minutes and experience the beauty of Istra in Banjole/Medulin, Pula.

Beviset på at billeder er yderst taknemmelige.

Hele området trænger til en kraftig opdatering. Lejlighederne er som taget ud af 80’erne, sengene i både soveværelset og sovesofaen i stuen var elendige, og årsag til minimal nattesøvn - alle havde ondt i ryggen efter første nat, og det blev kun værre.
Sovesofaen havde tydeligvis ikke været klappet sammen længe, og mængden af støv og diverse herunder, var vild.
Poolområdet var alt for småt til så stort et sted. Stod man ikke klar i god tid før poolområdet åbnede, var det ikke muligt, at få en solseng. Poolen iskold, og uden mulighed for at få varmen i solen efter badning, var det en kort og flad fornemmelse for både børn og voksne.
Resortets egen restaurant var til den dyre side, heldigvis er der i området en hyggelig gade med restauranter, butikker mv. som i stedet kan bruges.
Hele området kunne være så lækkert, men det kræver en kraftig opgradering!

Das Meer liegt direkt vor der Tür, parkähnliche top gepflegte Anlage, schöner Pool, tolle Liegewiese mit überall schattenspendenen typischen Pinienbäumen.

An dem Zustand der Appartements könnte sorgfältiger gearbeitet werden, Es ist aber zu sehen, dass stetig etwas gemacht wird.

Wenn man sich jedoch einmal genauer auch mit privaten Vermietern beschäftigt, wird man feststellen, dass man auch hier mit Renovierungsstau, älteren Möbeln und abgewohnten Zimmern rechnen muss. Das ist in den meisten südlichen Ländern der Fall.

Allein die Anlage, die mit verschieden weiteren Anlagen der gleichen Kette entlang der Bucht verbunden ist, ist absolut einen Besuch wert.
Wer bessere Apartments möchte, wird sicher auch in den angeschlossenen Anlagen fündig, auch Hotelzimmer stehen zur Verfügung.

Die Zimmer waren saudreckig, es wurde die ganze Woche nicht 1 mal geputzt,keine Handtücher gewechselt nix.Es gibt keine Klimaanlage in den Zimmern sodass es abends megaheiss ist.Auf Nachfrage wegen eines wechselns der Unterkunft wurde nur unfreundlich mit nix frei geantwortet. Das Schlafzimmer war voller schwarzer Schimmel genauso wie das Bad.

Pessima esperienza,1 ora di fila per il check-in, con il risultato di un appartamento che cadeva a pezzi, per l'eccessivo prezzo di 370€ di 2 notti in 4. Visto l'appartamento, se il prezzo non fosse stato così eccessivo l'avrei potuto accettare perchè il villaggio è bello e ha 2 piscine(anche se, quando bagni il pavimento, ci sono delle fughe che fanno un gran poltiglio di terra). TV a tubo catotico, anni 90; doccia sporca, piena di calcare e saliscendi inguardabile; specchio del bagno osceno; gli scuri marci, una notte c'è stato un temporale si è aperto uno di colpo quello della portafinestra perchè non si era chiuso bene, visto che è marcio, e una gran paura per il tonfo; scuro della finestra rotto, stava chiuso perchè si appoggiava al davanzale; tubo del water scrostato dal muro, 2 semplici tegami e nemmeno una padella; niente phono; nessuna spugna per poter lavare i piatti;niente sacchetti per il pattume e niente wi-fi. Objekt je savršeno pozicioniran. Unutar borove šume, uz plažu.
Problem je značajna dotrajalost samog objekta, što djelomično nadomješta novi namještaj, pa je ukupna slika ipak bolja. Također, značajno bi se trebalo poraditi na urednosti apartmana koja je, posebice u aktualnoj pandemiji, iznenađujuće loša.
Iako je svo osoblje izizetno ljubazno i uvijek na usluzi, dojam je loša organizacija i upravljanje, jer se ne bi smjelo dogoditi da nove goste dočeka uredno posuđe, posteljina, kupaonica i istodobno prljavština i paučina iza i ispod ležaja, začepljen lavabo, jedan sapun i toaletni papir za cijeli tjedan. Dakle, osoblju ocjena 5, menadžmentu - 2.

The apartment needs to be renovated! This is clear! However I can spend only positive comments on the location, the swimming pools, the recreational activities for the children and all the efforts made by the Plava Laguna personnel to open the resort in the best way as possible. Nám se moc líbilo. Ubytko obyčejnější, ale stačí. Bazén krásný. U moře si každý své místo najde - kamínky, písek, betonové molo. Děti ocenily wifi u bazénu :-) Pěkné procházky kolem moře, pěkné cestičky na koloběžky.
Jen drahé ceny v občerstveních u moře. (nanuk 65 kč, 3dcl fanty 90 kč.

Régi, közepesen kényelmes szállás, de 5 napra hibátlan volt az apartman ebben az állapotában is. Ár-értek arányban verhetetlen, és az esetleges kellemetlenségeket (pl. csöpögő WC) maximálisan ellensúlyozta a környezet, a közeli tengerpart, a rengeteg sportolási lehetőség és a hatalmas, csúcsidőben sem zsúfolt medence. Külön pont jár az animációs programokért, a legtöbb üdülőhellyel ellentétben itt nem volt sok vagy zavaró, kellemes volt a délelőtti torna a vízben. Hibátlan választás nyáron!

L'appartamento è all'interno di un camping molto ben attrezzato a due passi dal mare (anche se ci sono spiagge migliori a circa 10 minuti di macchina). La posizione è ottima per raggiungere in auto le località e spiagge vicine. L'appartamento in particolare è un po' vecchio e non in ottime condizioni, ma comunque abbastanza confortevole. La pulizia è sufficiente, essendo però all'interno di una pineta in casa erano presenti alcuni animaletti (in particolare ragni).

Die Lage ist schön. Das Apartment ist in Ordnung jedoch mangelte es an Sauberkeit. Gerade jetzt in der Corona-Zeit sollte alles desinfiziert und sauber sein, dies war nicht der Fall. Der Boden wurde nicht einmal gewischt. Alles andere ist sehr schön und es hat uns gut gefallen.

Il comprensorio merita davvero..come tutta la Croazia del resto..mare e natura top..peccato per le condizioni pessime dei locali della struttura..davvero poco curati e ormai vecchi e malandati..comunque abbastanza pulito..va bene per chi come noi utilizza la struttura solo per dormire.

appartamento trascurato e non pulito con ragni e altri insetti che continuamente bisognava eliminare per poter dormire ...mare peggio di un pantano sporco ..piscina poco pulita e senza bagnino (vi era la postazione ma era assente il personale)...durante e dopo la pioggia non era possibile uscire dall'appartamento per l'enorme quantità di acqua stagnante davanti l'uscita ...buio e impraticabile l'accesso la sera agli alloggi in quanto si trovano alle spalle dei viali...

Detter var en kjempe skufende opplevelse, rommet var så dårlig at det var ekelt å være der, ingen hjelp å få fra resepsjonen, kun sure miner, at er nedslitt og så dårlig forfattning, sort såpp og mugg over allt, badet var så dårlig at det var ekelt å bruke det, det er en skam at hotels.com har det med i sine hoteller å hvordan de har fått tre stjerner er meg ubegripelig, å betale 6000 kr å motte bo slik er en skandale, vi fikk ødlagt helle ferien vår der,

Per una famiglia senza troppe pretese va' più che bene visto il prezzo!! Le pulizie??? Non sono passati nemmeno un giorno durante il nostro soggiorno!! Nel complesso il nostro appartamento era vicino all' ingresso e per andare al mare ci volevano 5/10 minuti a piedi, mentre per la piscina qualcosa di più!!! Animazione presente ma non invadente!

Mukava huoneistohotelli rauhallisella mutta kuitenkin aktiivisella alueella. Huoneistot ovat jo remontin tarpeessa mutta kaikki huoneessa toimi ja lämmintä vettä riitti. Ilmastoinita ei tietenkään ollut mutta huoneistoon sai mukavan läpivedon. Säännöllistä huonepalvelua EI OLE vaan vastaanotosta pitää aina erikseen pyytää kun haluaa vaihdattaa pyyhkeet tai lakanat ja silloinkin on aivan tuuripeliä mitä sattuu saamaan. Siivoojat eivät siivoa huonetta oleskelun aikan eivätkä tyhjennä edes roskista. Onneksi lähettyvillä on hyvät yleiset roskikset lajitteluineen. Miinuksena myös WIFIn puute. Huoneiston lievät puutteet eivät kuitenkaan haitanneet koska ympäröivä ranta-alue on idyllinen ja josta löytyy paljon erilaisia aktiviteetteja olematta kuitenkaan liian levoton.

Malgrado le strutture siano un po datate e avrebbero bisogno di una \"rinfrescata\" il villaggio inserito in una vasta pineta è molto tranquillo adatto soprattutto a chi ha bambini, la spiaggia è bellissima dotata di tutti i servizi . Fare il bagno è veramente piacevole e sicuro.

Les appartements sont désuets, mal équipés (on avait 2 tasses pour 3 personnes) et mal entretenus. La propreté laisse à désirer. Chambre enfumée, alors que j'avais demandé une chambre non fumeur, car asthmatique. Seul point positif- l'infrastructure en bord de mer (piscine, activités ). Appartement éloigné du bord de la mer. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

Апартаменты Полинезия понравились. Очччень удачное расположение, песчаный пляж, огромная территория с очень красивой природой.
Сами апартаменты очень удобные (1/3 виллы) 2 комнаты, кухня, хорошая сантехника, обалденный вид с балкона.
В общем по соотношению цена-качество 5+++++

Appartamenti un po' datati ma pitturati di recente e puliti. Ottima sistemazione immersi nel verde con possibilità di fare piacevoli camminate. Molto bella la piscina distante solo 8 minuti a piedi. Location molto rilassante. Da ripetere sicuramente quanto prima.

Una settimana in coppia

Siamo una coppia giovane che ha passato una settimana in questo complesso. Gli appartenenti sono vecchi con un letto scomodissimo e si sentono i vicini sopratutto se fanno casino, quindi se non pretendete grandi cose ci si adatta altrimenti lasciate stare l'unica cosa bella è la grande piscina con musica e bar attaccato con possibilità di mangiare, il mare è sporco e spiaggia inesistente. se siete in grandi compagnie vanno bene ma io in coppia o in famiglia sceglierei altro.

Apartmány dobře zařízené, na mě moc mělké moře, oblasky, betonové plata velmi dobře udržované. A velké plus: domácí mazlíčci vítáni pláž pro psi, sprcha pro psi no prostě fajn. Jo a pekne cyklotrasy což je také plus.

Az apartman telep környezeti elhelyezkedése és a part nagyon szép volt.A medence rész is megfelelő,bár furcsa ,hogy egy ilyen helyen fizetni kellett a napágyakért.A kapott apartman állapota szörnyű,lelakott,nem túl tiszta,a zuhany függöny penészes volt,a falak tele szúnyog tetemmel,kb 20éve nem volt felújítva.Egyszer ettünk az étteremben ,a választék megfelelő volt és az ízek is ,de a személyzet hihetetlenül udvariatlan.

Отель расположен прямо на берегу моря.Территория большая. зеленая, есть полный набор развлечений пляжный бар, бассейн на берегу, теннисные корты, магазин, ресторан. Мы жили в бунгало с камином на террасе. каждый вечер можно было разводить огонь. Состояние номера оставляет желать лучшего, требует ремонта. В номере очень сыро, в ванне постоянно был сырой пол.
Удобно что машин можно парковать прямо у бунгало.

Also nicht zu empfehlen. Einmal und nicht wieder!

Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen. Außenanlagen total verdreckt.Zimmer werden nicht gereinigt. Wir hatten sogar Mäuse im Zimmer. Gäste sollten nicht vorab bezahlen. Wegen der lauten Beschallung bekommt man in der Nacht keine Ruhe. Reklamationen an der Reception sind nicht hilfreich.

Der Aufenthalt und die Anlage sind für Familien ausreichend und Preis -Leistung sind stimmig.
Die einzige Beanstandung die ich habe sind die schmutzigen WC Anlagen beim Pool. Früher war dort immer eine Reinigungskraft, die laufend die WC sauber hielt. Hier wurde scheinbar an Personal gespart. Leider am falschen Platz gespart.

Bellissimo contesto di appartamenti in riva al mar

Passati bellissimi giorni, il villaggio è familiare e molto bello. Il mare stupendo. Gli appartamenti sono molto retrò, e, purtroppo, pieni zeppi di ragni ovunque, ho perso un ora a bonificare l'appartamento. Tutto sommato comunque piacevole, ma non sarei durato più di 5 giorni. Consiglio una spiaggia esterna al villaggio nella strada che porta a Umago, alla fine di una lunga recinzione grigia nella strada principale. Si entra in un boschetto e si arriva in un oasi paradisiaca non troppo frequentata con bar.
Centro di Umago molto bello.
Consiglio i ristorantini dietro la piazza. Terrazze sul mare in cui si mangia pesce fresco a prezzi imparagonabili all'Italia.

STRUTTURA ADEGUATA PER VACANZE IN FAMIGLIA

L'appartamento in cui alloggiavo con le mie due figlie era molto grazioso, pulito e con un bel balcone. Molto comodo avere il parcheggio per l'auto sotto in vista. Il personale molto cordiale, le donne delle pulizie ti cambiano gli asciugamani ogni due giorni. La piscina distava poco più di 2 minuti a piedi soltanto ed il mare si affacciava davanti cosicchè abbiamo girato sempre in costume. Gli sdraio nell'area piscina sono gratuiti. Bar, pizzeria, supermercato, ristorante e vendita pane tutto nelle immediate vicinanze sempre dentro al residens. Possibilità di fare un giro in motonave e di prendere il trenino che attraversando tutti i campeggi ti porta in centro a Umago fino alle ore più tarde della sera. Per le famiglie è molto comodo avere a disposizione il miniclub ogni giorno per godersi a pieno le giornate estive. Consiglio vivamente a tutti questo resort, il prossimo anno ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Alloggiato ad agosto 2015
