I'd look elsewhere for a place to stay!!

We stayed two night here. They forgot to mention to us there was a festival or something going on so super noisy at all hours. The place looked like a ghost town, we stayed late April and most restaurants were shut down, and things just looked run down. From the photos and the description when we booked we were expecting alot more from this place.

Excellent!

We stayed at the Sol Stella Apartments for the Seastar Festival in the resort. The location was perfect for the festival, and despite the music playing all night you could not hear a thing as soon as the doors were shut. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the pool and beach were fantastic! Would definitely come back again.

This is a great place with fantastic facilities. bars, restaurants, pools, diving and watersports centre, but NEVER is it remotely intrusive. Most apartments have terraces or balconies facing directly out to sea and they are hugely spacious. I marked them down slightly because a small amount of investment in modernising a couple of things would bring them right up to quality, and also our bedding was very damp throughout our stay - I couldn't work out why (the clean replacement bedding seemed to be OK). However, none of this spoiled our stay. Watching the sunsets outside a great little bar on the complex was bliss. Away from the complex, Umag town is OK and can be reached on the tourist \"train\" that runs through the resort, but Porec is a little bit nicer and Rovinj is possibly the most attractive of the larger towns on the coast (car required really). There are some great wineries in the area if that's your thing. All in all the word here is VALUE! We had 3 huge apartments for 4 nights each and the bill was £400 total. Great stuff. In general, highly recommended.

Short stay in October

We stayed in the apartment just for 1 night, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The apartments are renovated, very cosy, close to the beach, dining area is very nice, breakfast is rich, for all tastes. I would highly recommend staying here after high season (end of August), since it's more peaceful, you can enjoy the beach and privacy. I can't imagine staying here in July or August, since you can hear everything what's going on in your neighbours rooms, and the houskeeping staff is also very loud and early. But in general I don't like crouds, so don't take my review for granted :)

Room was clean and had all neccessary equipment (kitchen). Resort had good possibilies for young people, table tennis, soccer goals, basketball field. Also many restaurants, thou we didn't use any of them.

Noisy Neighbours

Was a great hotel for the money and having Andy Murray playing next door at the tennis courts was a bonus! But the room walls are so thin you could hear about 5 different rooms banging. Plus its quite a family friendly resort so you can imagine the noise there kids make from early in the morning. But in a whole it was far better then we expected.

Just perfect...........................

Sol Stella is a part of a large Stella Maris Resort in Umag. It's in beautifull location right on the beach. The Sol Stella has been recently refurbished, so it looks great. New tiled floor, 42\" flat screen TV in living area, updated kitchen, nice bathroom and comfy bedroom. From the balcony a partial view of the bay obstructed by the trees. The resort has an ATP Tennis Center used for international tournaments. It has restaurants,bars,pizzeria,supermarket,ATM and Doctor's Office.

Sol Stella apartments for great budget hols

Sol Stella apartments are set in a most beautiful complex of very cheap to very expensive accommodation. If you are not fussy & would like to spend very little on where you sleep,,,then the apartments in the Sol Stella are just great. Very old but kept as clean as possible. The beds are very clean and very comfortable but the buildings themselves are quite old and in need of modernization..If you have plenty to spend then go for the Villas,,,They are absolutely fabulous. A few very attractive swimming pools including one indoor with gym facilities. Set beside the beach (no sand), we really enjoyed our stay. Umag is a beautiful village and a little train runs regularly there every day. Will definately go back again sometime.

Wir fanden den Urlaub als Familie mit 2 Kindern super.
Die Anlage ist riesengroß aber das fanden wir gerade schön für einen abendlichen Spaziergang. Sie liegt direkt am Meer. Die Apartments sind zwar wirklich sehr klein aber man hat alles was man braucht.

Der var ikke gjort særlig godt rent, men det var ok. Sovesofaerne havde ødelagt lameller, og der manglede en del basis service i køkkenet. Der kom ofte nye håndklæder mm. Og de har en god app til bestilling af eks ny sæbe, ekstra dyne mm

Die Laage ist wirklich schön, direkt am Meer.
Dort angekommen ist alles in die Jahre gekommen, das Geländer wackelt (ist nicht stabil), die Fußmatten, welche gegen das wegrutschen an den glatten Stellen befestigt wurde, fehlen teilweise und lange große Schrauben schauen heraus. Was für Kinder aber auch für Erwachsene gefährlich sein kann.

In dem Zimmer kann leider kein Urlaubsfeeling hochkommen. An den Wänden sind Spinnennetze mit lebenden und toten Spinnen. Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind zwar gewaschen- aber die Flecken scheinen nicht mehr raus zugehen. Haare im Bad vom Vorgänger, klebriger Boden. Jede Tür war dreckig und klebte. Der Balkon hat geklebt und wirkte wenig einladend. Der Außenflur war dreckig (mit Binden und leeren Flaschen), die Scheiben wurden auch nicht gereinigt. Auf dem ganzen Außengelände lagen Zigarettenstummel.
Alles für uns notwendige habe ich desinfiziert- aber sich in diesen Räumen zu duschen oder schlafen zulegen, war für uns nicht schön.

Wir haben die Unterkunft mit Frühstück gewählt. Hier gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt und es ist dort sehr sauber.
Ein großes Lob für die vielen Angebote für Kinder z.B. ein Kinderpool, mehrere Kinderspielplätze und das Highlight ist der schöne Kinderclub (hier fehlt es an nichts)

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Nur oberflächlich gereinigt. Dusche zuerst unbenutzbar verdreckt, Herdplatten verrostet, Kühlschrank undicht und klebrige Dichtung, alle Möbel abgeschlagen, ein Schrank ist beim Öffnen der Türen nach vorne gekippt, Spermaflecken am Bettrand, sonst auch eckelige Flecken an anderen Stellen, tote Spinnen und Spinnenetze in allen Ecken, sogar im oberen Teil der Badtür, TV funktioniert nicht, Staub in manchen Möbeln, Lüftung im WC funktioniert nicht, was besonders toll ist, weil Abluft nur über Küche, Kaffeemaschine ungenießbar verdreckt, aufgequollen Badtür mit Absplitterung, zeitweise kein Warmwasser, löchriger Vorhang im Schlafzimmer. Infoblatt über Apartment im Nachtkästchen mit undefinierbarer Flüssigkeit verdreckt. Erste Reklamation am gleichen Abend - Vertröstung auf Qualitymanager am nächsten Tag um 9 Uhr - nicht da - Vertröstung auf 12 Uhr. Dann Angebot auf Umzug im gleichen Gebäude, bei gleichem Reinigungspersonal und nicht funktionierter WC-Abluft. Daher als sinnlos abgelehnt. Herd wurde repariert, wobei der neue Herd dann hin- und hergerutscht ist. Der Ersatzkühlschrank hat nicht unter die Arbeitsplatte gepasst, der Versuch den Schlafzimmerschrank zu repariern kann als gescheitert betrachtet werden. Forderung auf Preisreduktion führte zu schriftlicher Kommunikation mit einer Frau Sandra Kopic, die offensichtlich keine Ahnung zu haben scheint, was da abgeht. Reinigungspersonal war dann nur einmal da und hat nicht fertig gemacht und Reinigungsfetzen am Tisch liegen gelas

Sehr schöne Unterkunft
Ziemlich neu und schön renoviert. Es steht etwas undurchsichtig in der Beschreibung bezüglich Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Jedoch kann ich sagen, dass bei der Ankunft Handtücher, WC-Papier, Seife, Duschgel, Geschirrspülmittel,ein Spülschwämmchen und Bettwäsche im Zimmer waren. Gut ausgestattet mit Mikrowelle, 2 Felder Ceranfeld, Geschirr usw. Ein Kritikpunkt ist der kleine Balkon und die Tür zum Balkon etwas schmal. Aber zur Halbzeit haben wir frische Bettwäsche bekommen und 2x frische Handtücher und WC-Papier.
Die nähe zum Strand war gut. Wir hatten nichtmal 40m. Jedoch kommt es drauf an wo man im Resort das Zimmer hat.
Im großen und ganzen war alles gut

A törülközöcsere szemét ürítés csak egyszer sikerült 5 nap alatt. A wc folyatot,jelzés ellnére sem történt változás igy viszont kiábrándito volt az állandó feltörlés,mellesleg tudták hogy rossz hissz szemmel láthatóan probálták javitani korábban sikertelenül.

Apartaments sind sehr hellhörig, man hört jeden Stuhl oder wenn jemand lauter spricht. Mit einem kleinen Kind, reicht der Platz gerade so, Apartaments sind eher sehr klein und eng gebaut!

Apartments sind super gelegen, 5min zum Meer und genügend Restaurants gibt es zur Auswahl.

Der Preis für das Apartment mit der vorhandenen Ausstattung und Sauberkeit ist unverhälnismäßig teuer, Gebäude selbst schäbig... Größe des Apartments für 2 Personen ok, jedoch für 3 Personen nicht empfehlenswert... erster Eindruck bei Ankunft \"letzte Absteige\"

An apartment near the beach in Umag

An apartment in beach holiday complex near Umag. The room is okay just we can see an old sofa bed that we feel the flat is old. The bed does not have a duvet but wool blankets, which we are not used to. A table near the sofa is nearly broken. The kitchen is good but the stove is extremely slow and there is no kettle to cook water neither cleaning tools for the used dishes. Anyway it is a spacious apartment which can accommodate up to 4 guests near the beach.

Buona esperienza... la nota negativa gli appartamenti al terzo piano senza ascensore e i letti ormai distrutti.... rispetto a tre anni fa che son stato li ho dormito male appunto causa materasso deformato e doghe tutte rotte....

Location très décevante ménage insuffisant à l’intérieur de l’appartement tout comme dans les parties communes. vaisselle insuffisante piscine archi bondée avec des transats payants. beaucoup trop cher pour la prestation proposée. seul point positif situation pied dans l'eau.
de plus le fait de voir des personnes \"faire les poubelles\" de cette résidence nous a mis très mal à l'aise.

week end interessante

a monte di un errore di cancellazione effettuato da parte mia , il gruppo EXPEDIA e di conseguenza il team dell'hotel hanno fatto di tutto per potermi comunque far passare un week end stupendo in un loro appartamento.
era la prima volta in appartamento , ma devo dire che la sistemazione e bellissima, immersi nella pace della pineta ed a 2 passi dal mare, all'interno del complesso non manca nulla, giochi per i bimbi , supermercato , bar e ristoranti, luogo pulitissimo ed in ordine.
da ripetere , grazie a tutti per aver reso il mio soggiorno bello e rilassante

海辺の安いアパートホテル

必要なものがそろっていて安いので、若いグループが騒がしかった。ベランダも狭く、海は木々の間に少ししか見えなかった。リフトがないので、ガーデンテラスが広く大きなテーブルがある１階がよい。海はあまり透明度がなく岩場。ゆっくり過ごしたいなら他を勧めます。ホテルの敷地内にあるスーパーマーケットは３時に閉まる。共同の洗濯機使用料７ユーロ。

Pefect after-season holiday with kids

The resort is conveniently located outside Umag and has many amenities, especially for kids. Plenty of shade from trees. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean. The beach was 100 m away on level ground. A great place for pushing the pram around, but also just strolling, cycling or roller skating. We liked the pool area a lot. The beaches in the resort vary from sandy and pebly to rocky and man-made (concrete). Umag is a lovely little town with good shopping and lots or restaurants. We would definitely go again.
