This hotel was absolutely wonderful. We booked the pool suite for our honeymoon, and it was truly magical. The room was perfect, with stunning views and unforgettable sunset scenery that made our stay extra special.

The service was excellent—staff were always attentive and on top of anything we needed. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, which was a great start to each day.

Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations and offered great value for the money. We highly recommend it, especially for a special occasion like a honeymoon.

We got the grand pool villa and it was the best decision! This resort is absolutely breathtaking. We were speechless upon arrival. The staff was so amazing and accommodating, it made our stay so much more enjoyable and seamless. The room was so clean and the free snacks and drinks in mini fridge was awesome. We felt so taken care of and we would definitely recommend coming here! We also got engaged here our first night and they somehow found out and made it so memorable by decorating our room!

The staff was very kind and had great service and amenities. The rooms were extremely clean and beautifully kept. They provided quick room services and fantastic house keeping. The food in the resort was pretty good for the most part. The only downside was how the resort was structured. It was a hike to get to and from the lobby to call rides. It was also a struggle to adjust the temperature in the rooms so we were pretty much freezing most of the time.

Courteous and friendly service with bilingual staff, we enjoyed the quietness of the resort and the variety at breakfast. Resort seemed almost fully booked but did not feel like it which was great! This was a very nice resort. The staff was very accommodating. The room was clean, attended to with details for our comfort. All requests met within a timely manner. Although the property was in a beautiful location I wouldn't rate this property 5 stars. I could hear my neighbors conversation through the walls. The power went out multiple times. The TV was not useful. The bathtub malfunctioned numerous times. My room service order was provided with no utensils. I was interrupted by staff on numerous occasions when attempting to sleep. I was not provided my advertised discount for food and beverage for being a one key gold member. The male staff was not friendly only the female staff seemed to welcome me. One of the nights someone was trying to open my door while sleeping and it scared the crap out of me because I'm a solo traveler. Upon check in/out I felt rushed. Also, the food was very mediocre. I also found that the air-conditioning was not acceptable for the temperatures and the bathroom area never cooled down at all it felt like a constant sauna in there. I wouldn't stay at this location in the future.

Great hotel for travellers looking for a serene and peaceful getaway. Spacious rooms, amazing spa, and good food options. The staff at the hotel were the highlight of my trip--everyone I interacted with was kind, helpful, and friendly.

Housekeeping could be more thorough and attentive--dead bugs and lizard droppings that appeared after my first night remained in the room even after housekeeping visited.

Lack of information at the property is a problem, the staff are nice but there’s no information packs in the room, you have to communicate through WhatsApp all the time. Found it disappointing. Our poor was green and slimy for the first day 2nd day pool man came and poured huge amounts of chemicals into it it put us off swimming in it! I wouldn’t stay here again.

The bed and pillows were so bad I had to ask for cushion on the bed and new pillows. It is hard to get around the property unless you get the driver every time you come and go so keep that in mind. The staff was very quick to try to remedy anything necessary and room service was quick!

We spent two nights in the Grand Pool Villa Ocean View room. There is no real ocean view; three giant trees block the view. When we asked to change rooms, we were told that there were no Grand Pool Villa available rooms. It wasn't delightful due to the high cost of each night. In addition, the pool is very low maintenance. The tiles in the pools were broken in a lot of places so it felt like stepping on little rocks. The pictures in the app are not like reality. The villa is big but the TV is old and not high quality.

The room is big but old and can be cleaner. The breakfast was not good at all and they forgot to bring my husbands breakfast plate that he ordered after waiting for almost 45 minutes. My husband and I waited for 20 minutes after checking out without anyone telling us we were fine and checked out. On top of that we waiting for another 15 minutes for our taxi and guests that came after us got their cabs before us. Im pretty sure we missed our flight thanks to the front desk staff!
We should have stayed at Cape Sienna. All of this literally happened in less than 24 hours. I’m so glad we didn’t stay here for 2 weeks.

Very beautiful property and very attentive and helpful staffs. There is nothing in walking distance. We took a day trip to the islands and one day in patong. As a 5 star luxury hotel, I think several details need to be improved. Towels thicker and not as worn, better gym facility (gym not usable), lounge chairs in better condition; a small gift shop for necessities such as sun block and ibuprofen especially there is nothing nearby. One recommendation for future travelers, book rooms with swimming pool attached. There is only one not too big common pool by the breakfast area. The restaurant is great with wonderful breakfast.

The views of the ocean together with the infinity pool is something you cannot take your eyes off...
The service at the breakfast, pool, restaurant, bell, reception, is so friendly. The food is great, quality wise and fine presentation. It is a secluded and nested in between the hills, but is really beautiful, peaceful and quiet.
Walk to beach down the property, or walk a little bit down the road to see almost private natural untouched nature beach. We loved it and are missing Ayara Kamala already!

Great staff. Great vibes. Had a issue in our room but they handled it very professionally and upgraded our room. For a discounted rate. Had free breakfast every day which was good. The cart service to your room and to the restaurant was excellent. Offered a fee shuttle ride to town which was a great way to get the beaches. It is isolated which gives peace and quiet. If you wanna go to the beaches you will have to catch a taxi. This is a place to go and relax and enjoy the view.

I booked a 3 bedroom Villa, end up they are 3 different rooms, 2 connecting room and 1 room upstairs. I think hotels.com should compensate me. What you sold to me wasnt what i am getting!!! Not worth the money!!!

The only positive comment I can give here was the view and tranquility of the Pool Villa. The rest did absolutely not meet our expectations. The Hotel is old and not well maintained. Only one restaurant on the property and this is not to be recommended either. Very small gym in basement with very few training equipment. The staff was rather unfriendly which is unusual for Thai standards.

Poor service, and rude and intrusive staff.

During check-in they asked for my credit card but instead of blocking /holding an amount they simply charged me 4000Baht. Later the staff started writing the details of my credit card on a paper without asking me anything. I don't think this is legal.

There is nothing around the hotel and the setting isn't like a large resort with many options. So you cannot really enjoy the seclusion.

The gym is a joke. There were cardio machines but they were outside the gym area in burning hot temperature...

The breakfast buffet is very poor. Luckily you can get a la carte options and they were quite tasty.

Nice resort. Not luxurious or flashy but attractive in a traditional Thai style. Clean comfortable and tranquil. Spa services and staff are excellent. Some of the nicest most effective treatments I’ve ever had and the staff are wonderful.
There is only one restaurant onsite but there is a wide variety of foods to choose from and the staff are very friendly and accommodating

They say no durian in the fridge. so you have to eat it warm in your room not tasty. They say huffed your too the market. They drop you there. It takes 20 minutes to visit and come back to pick you 2 hours later. No guide and a waste of time. Truck that pick us up has rain protection but driver did not want to get wet so he did not lost the plastic and we got all wet

I had a peaceful and wonderful 4nights stay at Ayara. Booked for pool access suite, the room is huge with sharing huge infinity pool among like 5 units and awesome seaview. I'm lucky to enjoy the pool all by myself during my stay as im the only one who stayed at the pool access suite. Bed is comfy but the aircon needs to be better, its abit hot at times. Pool is clean as they do the cleaning maintenance daily. Breakfast is awesome, u can enjoy both buffet and ala carte breakfast, many choices for the food and drinks. First time staying at kamala area. They do provide free shuttle to kamala beach daily. You can rent a bike at kamala beach as it will be much cheaper to travel around the island than taking grab or their hotel transport moreover they do provide free hotel parking. Price is abit steep, will be good if cheaper. Definitely will consider to be back for my stay again.

However, there are not so much things to do in the resort but pool. They need to improve the food in the restaurant. The breakfast was ok in general considering it was included. We had 1 lunch and 2 dinner in the restaurant and we got pretty tired of the food. They have no variety and the quality was just so so.

It was very pleasant on the whole. The staff were great and even prepared a birthday cake for my boyfriend when they found out it was his special day. The view was beautiful, although a part of it was blocked partially by tall trees. It was also a little inconvenient to travel down to the beach/city due to the location of the hotel (on average, we paid 150baht for every trip down/up the hotel to Kamala Beach). Still, we had a great stay and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Our stay here was wonderful the breakfast in the morning was great had a full buffet also the rooms were very nice. I recommend staying in the rooms with your own private pool those were the best. The staff was very helpful and super friendly. Ayra Kamala was in a more secluded area then most hotels which was nice because it was quiet and no traffic almost like you were in a mini paradise and if you wanted a ride to the town they provided a shuttle to kamala town it's about a 15 minute ride. If youre looking for a place with action happening in the town look for something in Patong the nearest big town. but this was a beautiful place to stay!

We had a great time Ayara Kamala Resort & Spa!
So we decided to come back again - we stayed there twice.
The room was very nice and comfortable! spacious room, well designed, cool view!
We had a perfect massage!
The food at the restaurant is delicious, and breakfast is super tasty.

We are in Heaven

It is perfect hotel!
Great rooms, new, clean, and well designed.
Sea view is very nice.
Spa- we got a great massage with excellent service.
It is very quiet and relex place.
The food at the restaurant is superb!
The staff is amazing and super friendly!
Its only 20 min from Phatong beach, free shuttles are available to the nearest town.
If you are looking for quiet place to clear your mind, it is the perfect place for you.

overall is great. but need to be improved. that was about the shower water system seems only can be very Hot or cool, cannot motify.
