Nunca se limpió el piso en el tiempo que estuvimos ahí, cuando llegamos estaba super polvoso, hicieron limpieza y siguió lleno de polvo. La verdad tampoco recomendamos desayunar ahí, tardaron mucho, nos salió pelusa en la granola, el jugo sabía a agua de naranja y no a jugo… La verdad es que consideramos que hay partes que están descuidando

Beside the strong smell of the area one of the days we stayed, there were workers in the parking area right outside our room and I cached one of them looking through my window during day time when I was inside, even tho i was scare i opened the door and he immediately apologized telling me that “he though that the room was empty because the ac was on\" , so I felt kind of unsafe.

A good, comfortable place to sleep.

Everything was good with one exception and that was that one window wouldn't lock. We didn't discover until leaving that we were only ½ mile from Walmart, whichbeould have been handy to know. There didn't seem to be any food service within close walking distance but, fortunately, they have a restaurant and the food was decent. The surrounding area is industrial.

Not sure why this hotel has high ratings, it’s severely outdated, rooms are old, dirty, doors do not have weatherstripping at the bottom which allows bugs to walk right in. Washrooms have toilets from the 80’s and showers from the 90’s. Lamps are old and dark. Spend the extra $10 and go to La Fe area instead

La estadia en el hotel fue muy placentera, buenos empleqdos de limpieza, guardias de entradas muy amigables y me hicieron sentir segura y recepcion perfecto. Tuve un solo problema y no quise afectar el review de estrellas y es que deje mis tennis negros reebok en el armario y llame alrededor de 3 horas despues y me atendio una senorita muy amable y me dijo que me llamaria en unos 15 minutos para verificar que estaban ahi y puediera regresar a buscarlos y desde diciembre 24 estoy esperando la llamada. Aunque su respuesta hubiera sido “no” me, quede esperando como me dijo. Se me hizo un poco falta de respeto. Aparte de eso, todo fue muy excelente y el servicio muy bueno.

Everything was good, room service fast and food was ok, we paid about 4 extra dlls so we can get full breakfast. Overall everything was fine. The only bad thing to say was the restroom it was full of mold . Everything else was clean. Room was very spacious
They also have a playground for the kids.

Check in was quick and efficient, not as much fuss as other hotels I've been to. There was some trouble with the door keys, but the person working came up to fix it pretty quickly. Breakfast was limited but enjoyable! It's close to the airport, but that means its a bit far from the center of the city. Overall good stay, and I would recommend it.

Staff it’s not friendly at all, rude people, breakfast it’s basically fruit and bread they have a charge if you want something else place it’s hot they don’t turn on air conditioner, good luck if you forget something (like tooth paste or a razor) you have to purchase not like other hotel we’re they can give you one free of charge, your room won’t be some what cool after comeback, because the ac don’t work with your key, overall experience it’s ok, next time I won’t be staying here

Room cleanliness: Perfect, will recommend.

Restaurant: Will not recommend, have never seen any restaurant serve corn tortillas on a paper napking. Both days, tortillas had pieces of paper napkin adhered, could not eat them. Waitress very rude, not professional at all.

Very strong sewer odor outside restrooms between restaurant and lobby, consequently sewer odors inside restaurant and lobby, bathrooms are just outside restaurant doors.

Good stay, the room was good all clean, but the in the continental breakfast my wife had to grab a coffe cup for her OJ because the regular cups were very dirty. It seemed as if they weren’t getting hosed before being put in the washer.

Reservation for 2 persons. Unexpectedly we arrived 4.
Front desk ask for extra payment and I agree of course.
I mention I will pay my bill in the morning at check out, as I always do for extra charges like phone calls, mini bar etc.
Front desk woke us up and demanded payment at 1 AM.
Maybe EXPEDIA is low priority because he gave us the further last room, second floor. Occupancy was an estimated 15% considering cars at parking spaces.
I went all the way to the lobby and pay the extra sum, for the 2 extra persons, but never received 2 extra towels.
People at restaurant were polite and service oriented.

Family trip for my brothers wedding, we decided to stay there since the wedding was at the hotel’s venue. The place is clean, continental breakfast is included and it’s good, staff is friendly. Didn’t like that they only offer shuttle services for businesses hat are having events in their hotel but not to the regular guests. Also, their rooms all face outdoors to their outdoors pool and patio, this wouldn’t be such a bad thing if it wasn’t for guests thinking it’s ok to throw parties and drink past midnight and being extra loud, I had to call the front desk 3 times to let them know now my next room neighbor was blasting music at 1 am (so paper thin walls I’m assuming).

Not so pleasant experience...

Went to check in, attendant said my reservation had been rescheduled to the following week and approved without my notice. Tried to cancel without a penalty fee since rescheduled date was the following week, they kept saying there would be a penalty fee because original date scheduled was the day of my check-in. It was a huge mess. Spoke to manager and hopefully I don't receive a charge.

Wanted to check-in as soon as possible, but they refuse (even though it was just 15 min before 3 pm). Went back after 3 and the Receptionist took forever to check us in, even asked for of my family's ID's! The entire stay was very tranquil, the entire staff was very accommodating. Security was exceptional.
Everyone we encountered was very polite.
The rooms were very clean. The only thing that was below par was the wifi signal strength in the rooms were very weak. The lobby and rest of the hotel had a strong signal.

Location, location, location

Very nice hotel, in the United States a motor inn or motel. Very, very clean. Extremely friendly staff from front office to housekeeping to wait staff. Only issue is location. The hotel is located outside of the central area, in an industrial zone. However, it is very, very quiet here. So in conclusion, if you are looking for a less expensive option, Comfort Inn Grand Viator is for you. Just take a taxi wherever you want to go. Taxis are very affordable in Monterrey

My family and I were there for 4 nights and I honestly have nothing negative to say about this hotel. We travel to Monterrey at least 3 times a year.Our goal is to always book this hotel. Rooms are always clean, my kids love going to the pool.Oh and our favorite person at the fronk desk is Lucia.She has been the person to always accomadate us with rooms, since we have to rent 2 rooms. We want our rooms to be as close as possible. Thank you Comfort Inn Monterrey Norte for always making our stay as pleasant as possible.

Nice hotel, but stuck in the middle of factories. If you are trying to find the hotel you may have some difficulty finding it because it was another hotel before. I believe the name was \"Grand Viator,\" So, if you ask for directions or take a cab, let them know that this was the previous name. Beds were nice, shower was hot. Free WiFi included but timed, very weird. They have 24 hour, manned, gated security leading into the section were the rooms are located. Free continental breakfast. I seen better and worse.

Buenas instalaciones; muy privadas las habitaciones y puedes estacionarte enfrente de tu cuarto si estás en la planta baja; los únicos inconvenientes la barra libre te la sirven los encargados del restaurante y te lo llevan a tu mesa . Tú no escoges la fruta o el pan. Batallamos con el internet en nuestro cuarto (te lo asignan por habitación)
