Economic price. Pro forma front desk, answered questions clearly. Location can be confusing as this is also a SleepInn location. Parking not convenient to front store. Slight funky smell in hallways but the room was comfortable and had everything I needed and quiet and clean. My major gribe is the runaround I got the next day. I called what I thought was the front desk from a Midwest airport because I thought I left something valuable in my room (I found it in my luggage later). The number took me to reservations who gave me the front desk number which took me to reservations. I finally got someone who gave me the number for the OWNER of the hotel (1) I didn't call.

Room was clean. My boys love the waffle maker at breakfast and the eggs and sausage were great for a quick bite. They were very accommodating whenever we needed extra towels or tp. And it was nice to have a kitchenette for our stay.

If you have no other choice or budget is tight, stay here but MAN, this place had so many things wrong. Let’s start with getting to the room…. IT SMELLED like someone was smoking cigarettes for 20 years straight in the halls, then when we got to our room, there was missing lightbulbs, nonworking appliances, and light fixtures, horrible drain, and smell in the bathroom after you used it and for some reason, our sink would clog up after washing our hands. Truly, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had with cleanliness and man the walls must’ve been made from paper. You could hear a mouse pee on cotton with how thin these walls were.

Loved the full size refrigerator. Had small microwave and stove. Had dishwasher but no soap for it or dish soap. Sunday morning the coffee pot was broken. About 20 dead flies in kitchen light. Bath tub stopper would not work so it was a shower for my wife. Had yogurt Saturday morning but none Sunday. Breakfast was ok. Overall it's rundown. We will not stay again.

Room and refrigerator smelled like old Chinese food. Room had a window style unit that smelled like food grease when turned on. Room surfaces were coated in grease and I had to ask for some kind of cleaner and paper towels to wipe the surface to put my things on the counters and I was given a plastic cup of laundry detergent. Pillows smelled like unwashed hair and body odor. Floor was sticky and bathroom door stuck half way open.

It was overall an okay hotel there isn’t much to complain about other than the smell when we first got to our hotel room. It just smelled kind of old. Other than that it was pretty good the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The included breakfast was pretty standard but also really good.

We were very thankful for all the help that Kirsten at the front desk provided for us. We made a mistake by booking a queen bedroom. She worked very hard to accommodate us and have us moved to a king bedroom. She was very friendly, courteous and attentive to all of our needs. She is an exceptional employee. The manager Neilish was also wonderful and personally explained, and apologized for an elevator issue and offered to help us get our bags down when we checked out. We stayed on two separate occasions in 2 weeks. We asked if we could have the same room on our return and in spite of being very busy, he saved the room for us.

The hotel has a kitchenette and sleeps five, which is nice. The carpet, furniture, TV and linens must be 20 years old. The bathroom is small and the air vent in the bathroom was clogged with at least 10 years of dust. The staff was friendly. The combination makes this a budget choice only.

The kitchenette is great with utensils and dishes provided.

We encounter a few cleanliness issues in the hotel room (dried blood on the sheets) and when we approached the front desk about changing the sheets we were told we had would have them taken care of. We returned that night to have nothing changed. Room service is only provided once during a 3 night stay which is fine but we stayed for 3 nights and didn’t receive a service once (even after we requested the sheets be changed). Despite all this, I would have left a more positive review but the front desk night crew was very defensive about us asking to have sheets changed (even went and insinuated it was our fault since the sheets were the same ones we had since we checked in). I don’t recommend staying here.

Did not care for much. fold out couch was a wiry cot with no pillows or sheets. Bed linens had stains. Room was way smaller than expected with an odor. Outdated. Tried to stay out of room on the trip as much as possible. Fitness center was a broken water cooler and a treadmill. Avoid this hotel. In disrepair. Cabinet doors hanging from hinges, beat up furniture. The fold out saga bed is disgusting, but we needed to use. Unfriendly staff, disinterested. Expensive.

Rosa at checkin was very nice. Room was fine. However internet didn’t work until close to 9 pm. Worst part was room never got below 75 degrees. Wall stat was set down to 66 but air conditioning was obviously having a bad day. Was very uncomfortable.

Obscured By Trees

The only real drawback to the trip had nothing to do with the facility itself. The directions provided to get it were a bit confusing. The property sits on a hill, obscured by trees and surrounded by several other such facilities. It literally cannot be spotted from the intersection adjacent to it for that reason. But once there, the facility itself served its purpose. Breakfast was above average, and the employee who was at the front desk at the time of check out was particularly genial and pleasant.

I would stay again, but bring a few things

Very kind staff who accommodate where they can. Good breakfast. Basketball court, which is great if you have older kids especially since there is no pool. Super comfy beds. Not much for dressing up the sofa bed to make it sleepable and even the boys who were sleeping there at ages 10 and 11 knew they were not comfortable. Mold in the shower and lower water pressure. Also a lot of garbage swept out of reach under the bathroom vanity. If you normally just use the hotel shampoos and soaps, make sure you plan to bring your own for this hotel - there is not much here.
Very nice two night stay in a very spacious room with a full sized fridge, stovetop, dishwasher, and plenty accommodating for two adults and five kids.

Let’s just at it wasn’t pleasant. Checked in, room was cooling. Turned temp down. Went out sight seeing and came back in the early evening. Called front desk to get assistance with thermostat on ac. Desk said use wall unit, not unit control on ac. Did that, no change. Room was stuffy all night. Called next morning (we were staying 2 nights) and asked for someone to come look at it. They said maintenance man would come look. Hours go by, wife goes down to front desk asking for fresh towels and have our room refreshed. And what the status was with the maintenance man. Apparently he was off site getting parts, and he would check or room when he got back. No fresh towels at the desk, took til nearly evening to get our room serviced. “We are busy” they said. Ac never got looked at. Breakfast was horrible at best. Trying to get refunded through hotels.com but hotel isn’t answering their emails. Hotels wants to offer me $25 “one key” dollars to compensate. Nope, either refund me for one night or I’ll dispute charges w my credit card company and use other travel services. Hotels.com used to be great with the “10 stamps” for a free night. one key is a joke.

Mainstay after Hospital Stay

My dad and I we're at the 6/21/24 Rays vs Pirates baseball game. Unfortunately, he would pass out due to heat exhaustion while at the game. Before this happened, we booked a room at Mainstay Suites because he did not feel like driving 2 hours back to our hometown. After waiting countless hours at the hospital, my dad felt much better and we would finally be able to check in at Mainstay Suites. Safe to say, it did not disappoint. Even though we only had an overnight stay, room 332 was extremely comfortable and clean.

I stayed 5 nights. The daily breakfast was horrible. Very cheap; paper plates, plastic utensils, terrible coffee, etc. The dining area was cramped and un inviting. The carpet in my room had stains that looked like dog 💩; maybe it was. The 3rd floor hallway was dark and my room’s door required a solid tug to secure. The fitness center is small. Basically a closet for one person to work out. The toilet paper was like paper; again very cheap. This place has potential, but I feel the owners don’t want to invest in the property. I would not recommend and won’t stay there again.

Notified staff that bathroom must not of been cleaned prior to stay in our room. Bathroom counter had a razor blade on it and next to that also tissue holder disassembled with bottom tray containing decent amount of residue all inside. The holder looked to not be cleaned for months due to the amount of white powder buildup. Gross!! With fentanyl being as deadly as it is concerns this need to be taken into a higher level of urgency when found. Staff offered nothing besides a giggle & a thank you for telling us. No money back or discount or even a we will alert house keeping for upcoming visitors.

It was clean very cleaning the rooms are really big with full size refrigerators, two burner glass top stoves, full size kitchen sink with garbage disposal, full size dishwasher, and microwave with a king size bed and a full size pull out couch. The bathroom is big and a big clean tub. We had no issues quiet and peaceful clean clean it was we stayed for a steelers game and they were the cheapest hotel in the area perfect location to shopping and restaurants and a quick trip to Walmart we will be back in the future for games in town

Our AC was not working properly, making our first night very uncomfortable. We asked the front desk four times to please have a service technician service our AC. No one ever came or followed up with us.

Our bathroom had a tub/shower combination. It had no restraining bars or other means to prevent falls. This unsafe condition needs to be corrected.

The room was nice, the pull out bed is not so nice. It was stained with NO sheets to be found in the room to be used with it. Our air conditioning didn’t work properly and our toilet was constantly running so it was hot and noisy. I did like the location though the parking lot and the entrance to the hotel could use a new surface. The free breakfast in the morning was very nice. They had a glitch they told me in their computer system so we had like three people knocking on our door wondering if that was our room or not. That was pretty annoying. If you’re looking for a pool, this is not your hotel. If you’re looking for a nice restaurant or bar inside the hotel, then again, this is not your hotel. It was pretty close to lots of different restaurants and shops.

Great family stay

Nice clean hotel in a great location. We’ve stayed here twice now for two different sporting events and like that it’s close to the stadiums but you don’t have to deal with parking garages or main city chaos. It’s right near lots of restaurants and shopping plazas. It had a home away from home feel.

I would say that our stay was good. The room was good, the breakfast was OK as well. I would stay here again. The hotel could use some touchups. The rooms, in my case, did not have a desk chair which would have been nice. Outside there was a need for someone to do a little litter pickup. The staff was very friendly and as noted, I would stay here again as the accommodations in the room were comfortable.

the hotel need an serious update

The hotel was too outdated. It was old and smells. people smoke corner of path way to parking lot. Kids and people who do smoke have to smell it.
The front desk personnel were very nice and friendly. (plus)

Room/building: definitely need update.
we are on 3rd floor, the hallway smell like fried food whole time.
the room is OK bed and sofa bed were ok for 1 night sleep. sheets are clean. Kitchen is clean, but definitely need a new update on the floor and room. The bathroom door was so old. The extra door lock was loose.
The reviews said 8.0/10 and New??? not sure where \"new\" come from?! we thought for 1 night would be fair. I would say 6/10. really need a lot of update.

I was going to stay at a hotel that was half the price of this one but according to the website this hotel was supposed to be much nicer - however this hotel was disgusting. The best part of the entire stay was the nice man who checked us in. Our room had brown stuff on the floor in the bathroom, mystery stains on the carpets, water damaged ceilings which definitely had mold in them because I’m allergic and I felt awful the whole day after staying the night here. Even the lock on the door was broken and half ripped out of the wall. The room also had an awful strong smell - I’m pretty sure it was a smoke smell that they tried to cover up with another smell of some kind. Even the halls had water damage in the ceiling and creepy lights that were half out and flickered like a horror movie. So unhappy that I spent the extra money to stay here - the area is nice and fairly new so you would have thought this was a good choice but take my advice and stay somewhere else.
