Having the restaurant right off the lobby and the shuttle one floor down was very helpful for a tired traveler.

The only negative I have is that the reusable bottle of body wash had not been refilled and I barely had enough to shower with. Had there been two in the room one person wouldn’t have been able to shower. These should be refilled after each use of the room so there is no chance it will run out.

Everything was easy. We arrived late - shuttle showed up quick, check in was easy. Check out was also a breeze. Everyone was friendly. Would definitely stay again if I am flying in or out of PIT early or late. Very convenient. Only downside - breakfast not included.

Airport shuttle was easy to find but with the new terminal that was built, it removed the walking access to the hotel which is very unfortunate. The hotel is still a very comfortable hotel as it always has been.

This hotel posts quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM, but I was woken up at 3:18 AM by noise from the next room. First came loud TV audio, followed by doors slamming, objects dropping, and an alarm going off twice, etc. After an hour of this, I called the front desk. The woman who answered was impatient and told me that this time of night is when many guests head to the airport. I said I understood that, but suggested they could at least politely remind guests to keep the noise down. If your flight isn’t in the middle of the night, I’d recommend being cautious about staying here—you may not get a good night’s sleep due to poor soundproofing and indifferent staff.

Very clean, nice hotel with friendly staff! This is our third time staying here before a flight. Highly recommend. The hotel restaurant and bar is great too! Unfortunately, the hotel does not connect directly into the airport anymore but Hyatt made sure to have 3 shuttles available starting at 4am in the lobby. They really make sure you do not have to wait long at all. Everyone was great!

I've stayed her many times and the room was not clean like it usually is. The bathroom was quite gross but since I was there only one night I just toughed it out. Normally I would have switched rooms. The food in the restaurant was terrible. Many of us in our party of 10 sent food back and still left hungry.

However, it was not clear that the hotel was inaccessible to the airport via walking bridge. We specifically woke up early to catch a really early flight and thought we could walk from the hotel into the airport. However, you can’t. There is a tunnel behind a door, but it’s apparently closed now.

The Hyatt is a must for us before early morning flights. The new shuttle service is easy and convenient. It runs 24/7, every 8-10 minutes, from the hotel to Door 5. Long-term parking is closer to the Hyatt now and avoids the longer ride of the airport shuttle upon return. Free bottled water in the room and free breakfast sandwiches if you can’t stay for the free breakfast in the restaurant. Worth the money!

We booked this hotel as the last minute after our flight was grounded for the evening due to the weather quite literally as we were about to take off. The rates were very reasonable given the last minute booking. I booked two rooms (one for my husband, infant I and one for my mom) and when I arrived, they offered an adjoining room without me even asking which was very much appreciated. Overall, check in was super friendly and seamless despite a large number of us there from said grounded flight.

The room itself is a little dated and could use a facelift but it felt clean enough. The sheets were quite rough and it did smell a bit like wet dog- were we staying longer this may have been a real issue but for this night, we were just happy to have a clean and warm place to rest our heads.

My only real disappointment was that I thought this hotel was literally a part of the airport. This is likely due to my own lack of research as I frantically was booking something, but we had an infant with no car seat and so we needed something we could get to without vehicular transport if at all possible. The shuttle itself was fine- it came regularly and was easy to find but I did not love having my infant in a shuttle with no car seat. Again, not the fault of the hotel but clarifying for anyone else in a similar situation.

Overall, this hotel is wonderful in a pinch, especially if you need to be near the airport. I am not sure I would love staying here long term, though.

We had the unfortunate experience with loud neighbors. We only had 4 hours to sleep before catching our next flight and our rowdy neighbors across the hall made it quite difficult. I appreciated how clean the facilities were. A forewarning to guests that the room doors don’t open despite a green light if you have two card keys next to each other when you place it on the pad would have been greatly appreciated. Check out and using the hotel shuttle to the airport was easy.

My card was charged an extra $75 after check out with no explanation or receipt. When I checked out she said she was going to email the receipt and I never received one. If a person knew up front you were going to charge people extra after they check out they might make a different decision on a hotel stay.

Overall a nice stay, very continent to have a hotel shuttle running every 5 mins. Only complaint is I could hear the neighbors through the ceiling. A child upset and people moving things at 3am is not cool. I didn’t get good sleep at all, had to play music to drown it out and ultimately just went and worked out at 430am!

We are two people staying in this hotel room, but there is only one water cup. The shower switch in the bathroom is stuck, so the hot water cannot be fully turned on, and only a small amount of water comes out. Also, some facilities are lacking.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times before an early morning flight. It costs significantly more than comparable hotels near the airport, but the ease of walking from my room to my gate made it worth it (in the past). With recent construction, there is no longer a way to walk from the hotel to the airport. Didn't find that out until after we checked in. They told me that plenty of shuttles were available to take us to the airport in the morning. It was mayhem. Two small (maybe 8-10 person) shuttles were available. I waited among at least 50 people and it was clear to me that I was going to miss my flight if I had waited. My wife and I left the hotel and walked a quarter mile to a long term parking shelter where we boarded a bus. Had we not had TSA Precheck we would have missed our flight. In the lower lobby where the masses were gathered to board a shuttle, there was not a hotel employee to be found. Never again. Save the money and stay near the mall.

There was a domestic dispute in the hallway that involved the police. While not within the hotel’s control there was no acknowledgement of the disruption or anxiety the event caused. The hotel is no longer connected to the airport and the wait for the shuttle was 30 minutes due to volume of passengers. At check in I was advised of 10 minute normal wait time.

We were unable to get to the hotel because of the snow storm and asked to be rebooked the next day and we were summarily refused amd told that the payment for the room would be forfeited. All of our flights were cancelled and it was impossible to fulfil the stay. I am a rewards member and i believe i was rudely handled and was offered no accomodation to be able to work things out.
