The outside grounds and the exterior look charming. The lobby is also very nice. Unfortunately we were given a room in the second, and apparently quite neglected, second building. The bathroom looked like it had received several paint overs and caulking applications and looked like an aging celebrity being held together by its makeup. The tub was stained and didn't drain well and a few bugs crawled out to say hello.
Sorry the Disney shuttle wasn't enough.

Our room was in the separate second wing, which seemed older and more or less forgotten. The bathroom in particular was bad. The tub was stained and a few bugs came out when we ran the shower. I came out feeling dirtier. It wasn't a housekeeping issue as much as an old property that has been given a few coats of makeup but needs an overhaul.
I came for the Disney shuttle and that was nice, but next time I think I'd just stay at a nicer and newer hotel in Anaheim and Uber to the park.

The hotel lobby- nice kid friendly- staff nice also. My complaint is the black mold growing on the ceiling in our hotel rooms bathroom. The hotel room was old and needed to be upgraded. Mold should not be on the ceiling in the bathroom. The beds were also very hard and everytime you moved they made squeak noises. The shuttle to Disney was great.

Room was clean but dated as I was in the Tower. The staff were very helpful and check in was easy. I was very early so I stored luggage and went about my day. I was called when my room was ready which was nice. The shuttle to and from the parks were great!!!!!! I’ll stay again!!

All in all good but I was upset that I chose “pay at property” and the hotel charged my debit card without my knowledge even after I gave a different credit card on check in. They said they always do this but I don’t think so. I’ve stayed at this property many times and never had this problem. Just make sure the card you use to secure your hotel is the one you want to use to pay!

The room was good/ average . Staff was friendly and helpful. The shower was the only thing that disappointed me. Water pressure was not good at all. Shuttles were convenient. Waited no longer than 15-20 minutes to get to the hotel from Disneyland on a busy night.

Outstanding location to stay while visiting Disneyland Parks. Very very convenient shuttle service, they get 5 stars from me. Room had everything we needed. Bathroom was a bit small, but also accommodated all our needs.

Little dated, but a steal for the price we paid. It may have surpassed Hilton and Marriott for my future trips to the parks.

The free shuttle, nice swimming pools with hot tubs and the fun atmosphere of the lobby with speciality rooms is awesome for any age or any group… we throughly enjoyed our trip. We brought our 1 year old twins to Disneyland and stayed here. The ambiance first walking into the hotel left the best impression. It was so cute and charming! Also, we really appreciated how nice the infant cribs were in our room. Very comfortable and roomy for our boys. In addition, we really loved the restaurant amenities. It was very convenient!

Good hotel. Our room had 2 sinks which was useful but the one outside the bathroom was not draining properly. A bit run down. The card reader to the main doors of our building was not working so they had the doors wide open the whole time. Free WiFi was slow and you had to pay extra for better WiFi. Front desk staff was very nice and they did their best to have our room near my mother-in-law’s. Best part was the disney shuttle.

The rooms are so nice and big! This room had a table with 2 chairs, there is a 3rd throne style chair, the TV stand has plenty of space to place smaller items on it. There is also a fridge and ice bucket in the TV stand. There are 2 luggage stands in the closet along with an Iron, ironing board and a safe. There are many outlets for charging but these are plug style not usb style charging areas. The ac was nice and cold. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The grounds are always clean and well taken care of. The staff is always so friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate all requests. Unfortunately, we didn’t have an opportunity to use the pool but we did walk by it and there are a lot of chairs, tables and there are even a few cabanas. The pool area appeared clean and well maintained. The lobby area is always clean and decorated to perfectly suit the castle theme. We used the free shuttle to and from Disneyland and the shuttle drivers are always nice and accommodating. We didn’t eat at the restaurants this time but on previous trips the food has been delicious. It is very nice to have places to eat right in the hotel. If you bring your own meals, you can ask the front desk employees to use a microwave to heat up your food. They have a secured room with a microwave for the guests to use. We always enjoy staying at The Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel and will continue to stay here every time we are in town.

During our stay there’s one night the elevator was not working & being tired from exploring in Disneyland was so much struggle to use their stairs. The vending machine from first to third floor was out of water, no towels in the pool. There spa is smalll. No coffee free in the lobby so you have to buy it from there Deli. They provide something in the room for you to make one but there’s no water bottle included and when you buy it from vending machine it cost us $4-$5.
No microwave in the room. They have a small refrigerator that is not enough to store our stuff.
The free shuttle to drop off to Disneyland and pick you up was a plus but you better be careful of not losing that blue bracelet, otherwise, it will cost you $15 to replace a new one.

I have been staying at this property while visiting Disneyland for many, many years, and boy, has it gone downhill. The room and public areas were far from clean. The hallways were littered with trash and debris. The bathtub/shower was dirty, the toilet stained and the floor needed scrubbing. The hotel staff were unhelpful. We spent 15 minutes wandering around looking for our room while dragging our luggage, as the desk clerk was new and didn’t know her way around either. The service at the restaurant was very slow and unfriendly, and the food was mediocre. The shuttles to the park were timely, but run down and dirty. They used to have nice shuttles. Now they seem to have acquired worn out old school busses with bad blue & red paint jobs. Sadly, this will be our last visit.

Was not as clean and a/c did not work all that great on the third floor. Two elevators were out of order and the only one that worked was really small. I’m all for taking the stairs but not at the end of a park day. Food is just as expensive as the theme parks and after several stays I may be moving on. Love the free shuttle but was told if my ride band got damaged it was $$ to replace. They need a better system there. Was not the best experience. Just a note, I wasn’t expecting 5 stars but some of these items should not be an issue

It’s a good hotel to stay at . Very close to Disney and they offer a shuttle there and back . The only thing is you do need to pay for parking each day for staying at the hotel . The beds were comfortable, the room is fine . They do need more charging station, they only had wall . They do need to refill the shampoo , conditioner and body wash . Overall the hotel is a nice one to stay at .

The castle king room was spacious and clean. Though highway noise could be heard, the sound of the AC running helped drown it out and honestly was so tired from Disney that the noise didn’t bother us at all. Staff was very friendly. A bit tricky having to wait til 6:30 for coffee at the deli downstairs when you’re a rope dropper and need to get out the door early, but it worked out! I’d recommend it.

I loved the attention to the customer. We had run out of toilet paper and the kids needed extra pillows and blankets, they helped at the front desk very quickly. Ensuring we had everything we needed to get us through our trip. There are also a lot of great picture spots throughout the hotel, which was great for us with our 5 yr. old on her first trip to Disney!

Check in was seamless. Staff was very efficient. Danny at the Garden Court Lounge is always attentive and greets everyone as if they are longtime friends. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. As annual passholders, we try to stay here at least once a month. The grounds are a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the parks.

Bathtub would not drain, toilet would not flush well. Soap cost extra, two tissues in the tissue box and was told there is no heat available when our room was freezing. Only air conditioning.

Also, the automated gates were a pain to use, very confusing and ask you to pay when the front desk tells you not to pay the fee I order to raise the gate arms.

Overall would never stay here again. The only perk was the shuttle to Disney.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable condition of my room during my recent stay on 4/22

To be blunt, the state of the hotel was filthy and disgusting. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of cleanliness, specifically regarding bedding, and carpets]. This experience was far below the standard I expected and made my stay incredibly uncomfortable.

I believe this matter needs your immediate attention to ensure other guests do not have a similar experience.

Definitely get more than what you pay for. For this price this is a five star stay. Everything is nice and clean. The hotel is like a vintage Las Vegas Hotel which is very retro but as far as the environment it’s clean. Also shuttle service to and from park is fast, clean and included. Definitely recommend.

The room felt very outdated compared to previous stays. On past visits, we were placed in a remodeled room, but this time we were located in the back and everything appeared older and worn. At check-in, we were not given a parking pass, which made it difficult to get in and out of the property. Parking overall was very limited, and it was challenging to find a spot near our room.

Housekeeping was also disappointing—no one came to provide clean towels during our three-night stay. I’ve stayed here before and had much better experiences, but this visit felt like a noticeable decline in both the condition of the rooms and the level of customer service.

It was a place to sleep. The rooms themselves are a little outdated. There was mold all over the bathroom. The beds smelled like body oils. The mini fridge smelled awful when you opened it. The lobby was very nice! The hallways smelled musty and it overall didn’t feel clean and refreshing after a long day at the parks. It was priced fair comparing to some others in the area. The walk from the parks to the hotel took us about 16 minutes so not too far! There were some chilly days and we were freezing, our only option was to turn off the air, with no option for heat. It made the room very stale.there was torn up wallpaper in the hallway and it looked very tacky. The gift shop area is so overpriced, so be sure not to forget or need anything!!

The breakfast buffet was a little expensive for a family of 4, BUT the food was delicious, freshly made, slightly different each day, and had many options. And of course being right at the hotel was super convenient!

The hotel was always very clean, staff was very nice and helpful (especially the dining room staff!). Rooms were clean, spacious (we had the 2 Queen Castle room), and the blackout shades worked great. The room was in good shape, nothing broken or old.

The shuttle service was great. Most of the buses in the fleet are big and can hold a lot of people. Once once did we have to wait in line, missed the first bus, and had to wait for the next bus. This was around 10:30pm when a lot of people were leaving the park. But the next bus arrived within 5 minutes! Only 1 time did we take an uber (leaving the hotel when we missed the morning bus) and it cost us $15 for 4 people. This worked well the 1 time we needed it. Otherwise it was easy to catch the bus. It ran on time so you could plan accordingly.

This is my 2 go place. When I go to Disneyland overnight cant beat, the free shuttle to the parks. The hotel is on the older side, but it is clean. Staff has always been nice ac works great, bathroom on the smaller side in the unicorn room.
Should be bigger with the larger group capacity.

Hotel was just okay, I wouldn’t stay there again. You get what you pay for I guess. The room wasn’t very clean, the bed felt droopy like a million people had slept in it. The lobby is tired and there’s a sad little convenience store type place that sells $6 coffee. The shuttles were good and reliable. We did not attempt walking as it seemed way too far to walk. A staff member also told me not to walk at night because the area isn’t always safe.

This hotel had some great extras and some room for improvement.

Pros: The king bed in the castle tower bunk room was really comfortable. The staff was friendly and really helpful. The shuttle was awesome and the drivers were amazing (especially when I needed a scooter transfer the second day). The deli food was good and the selections were plenty for grab and go items. The Japanese restaurant staff were wonderful and the food was perfect.

Cons: There were not enough outlets by the bed, and one side was so loose, my plugs wouldn't stay in. The bunk beds were really hard. The shower had tons of hair looped around the drain, and the vent fan was really dirty.

We would still stay there again for the staff and the shuttle.

Room was never cleaned, very old and dingy.
AC worked great.
Kids were charged to go in and out of the parking lot.
One of the kids bags were gone through (separate room from us) opened containers etc. shuttle driver ran into the mechanical arm allowing access to the parking lot. This driver was an absolute mess, appeared to be under the influence.

This is our location of choice when we come to Disneyland--and we come to Disneyland a lot. Sometimes we get a room that's a little older and could use some love, but overall, this hotel is festive, clean, has a great shuttle, the rooms are huge, and we just love it. We used to look at this hotel from the freeway and wonder if we would ever stay there--now we rarely stay anywhere else.
