Room was clean and the pool and hot tub were welcome after long park days. Free breakfast was nice as well. There is a guest laundry on site which I made use of since we were on a long trip. Beds were comfortable. 10 minute walk to Disneyland or a little less to the Garden walk with lots of restaurant options.

Extra blankets smelled like urine, absolutely wasn’t clean. Carpets turned our socks black. The bus stop and convenience store that shares a driveway with the hotel attracts a homeless and druggie crowd, you have to pass men actively doing heavy drugs or drinking on the sidewalk or having a mental health episode. I would not stay here with children if planning to walk to the Disney parks, maybe fine if you plan on driving but even then-the parking garage looked very sketchy as well.

Best room you can book for a Disneyland trip. The walking distance is probably shorter than actually parking at the parking garage, free breakfast in the morning with rotating item, never had an issue staying here over the multiple times throughout the years.

We had a really good stay at Desert Palms Hotel & Suites. The location is excellent—super convenient and close to everything we needed, which made our trip much easier. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and a great value for the price.

Overall, a solid choice and I would definitely consider staying here again!

My original room had a failing air conditioner. I was moved to another floor away from family who was next door. One staff member, young lady, was pleasant. Unfortunately, the gentlemen were not as welcoming. In fact, we walked by the front desk multiple times and none of them ever looked up. No greetings, smiles, eye contact, good morning, etc...

This is our go to when we visit Disneyland. It’s a very short walk to the park. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast has a big variety and always stocked. The pool is clean. The rooms are always clean and comfortable.

It was a decent place to stay on a 4 day for the price. But, the hotel has been there a while and you can tell. We had a railing on the kids bunk bed broken. The tv didn’t work. You could see decorative paneling around some walls and the elevator loose. It’s just showing its wear a bit. The breakfast was ok. Eggs at any hotel breakfast is always a risk. But the hotel was clean. Bed was a bit squishy, but ac and heat worked great. Bathroom was perfect and water pressure was strong! If I wanted to save a bit of money another trip I would choose to stay here again. It’s a bit of walk so make sure you look at the distance before you book.

This is the second time we have stayed here when we visited Disneyland. It's a family friendly hotel, with free breakfast in the morning and a ghost kitchen serving a lot of different types of food downstairs.

The rooms are clean and well maintained, but it does feel a bit dated. The beds are ok - I mean after a long Disney day, you will fall asleep in them. The water pressure in the shower is great, and they are quick if you need something, or an extra blanket or pillow.

The only one drawback is they put in controls around the AC unit in the room. You can only adjust the room temperature from 69 to 74, and that's it! If it's hot and stuffy in your room, you can't do anything about it. I saw people opening their room door hoping to get some relief. The windows open, but there is a second set of windows over them that doesn't open. There were 2 nights we simply couldn't sleep because we were so hot. I actually went outside to cool off. Being a computer and tech guy, I was able to reprogram it on our third night, but I shouldn't have had to do that. Let people cool off, especially being your in LA of all places.

While that may sound like a minor grip, it impacted our sleep and our overall experience there. It was to the point where everyone from all 3 of our rooms were talking about it. If they could address that, I'd come stay here again.

But overall, this is a good place to stay if you're doing to Disney and you have kids or family in tow!

1 queen and bunk bed; teens fit on the bunk beds perfectly!! Bunk bed was spacious and even had room for our two toddlers to join the teens on them. Husband reported the Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were cleaned daily and the front desk was helpful. I liked the stores next door along with the safety feeling. The 15min walk to Disneyland was a bonus.
(With two toddlers and being chubby) it was a perfect location and space for our family.

We found cockroaches in our room and had to move rooms. Unfortunately the second room’s bathroom smelled like mold and you could hear the 7-eleven recording every 20 minutes outside the window. All of the staff were very nice and accommodating, but not super happy with the actual rooms.

We loved staying at the Desert Palms! The proximity to Disney cannot be beat! It only took us 10 minutes to walk to Disney! We felt very safe leaving our car in the hotel parking lot. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The beds were super comfortable! Every night we fell asleep quickly after returning from a long day at the park! We will stay here every time we visit Disney! Thank you Desert Palms for such an enjoyable stay!

Staff was very helpful especially with getting us another room as the room they gave us had a leak in it from the ceiling. But that being said, it was still pretty icky being in a hotel with water leaking from the ceiling and buckets out in the hallway to catch drips. Needs some maintenance. Rooms were a little small for our needs but we got a slightly bigger room when we were reassigned. Breakfast options were great.

Our first night was horrible. We arrived at 4am tired and ready to rest but there was a humming sound in the room that never stopped.
The sheets were very wrinkled so it made doubt about them being clean. But we were so tired so we had to go sleep. At 6am the door slamming noise started.
I asked to be moved to a different room. They did and we had a better night the following day. This time the sheets were looking good.
The only thingdidn’t work was the TV remote.
The distance is good from Disneyland.

The hotel is nice too look at but the stay wasn’t comfortable. In the four days we were there they did not come to service our room or give us towels as they originally said they would. Sheets are changed every three days and that I understand and was totally fine with but the daily housekeeping and towels they said would be doing did not happen. The rooms are paper thin. To the point where you can hear everyone’s conversations, people going to the bathroom, stomping at all hours of the night. It was the most unrelaxing experience. While we could have complained about this and probably had it fixed I felt bad because I know there’s so many families with kids just trying to make it through. But for people traveling without kids or a small infant I would choose somewhere else. They don’t really give you blankets for your beds either. Instead the top “blanket” is literally just a flat sheet. Breakfast was okay, they did keep things full and clean, and there was seating for everyone which is nice. They also had an indoor outdoor seating area and a spot for kids to play in the lobby. Overall 3/10

Always a 10 out of 10 experience. I will say that was switching management and not being able to have my handicap father‘s scooter delivered to the hotel is a bit of an inconvenience. How do I known I was not able to have a scooter delivered to the lobby I may not have stayed here. The hotel staff is extremely friendly. The breakfast is great every morning close vicinity to the parks, but that is my one hitch that I wish we were able to have our scooters be delivered to the lobby again.

The suite was great and the kiddos loved having a separate space to themselves. We enjoyed the clean room, pool and hot tub, water and coffee in the lobby, the onsite cafe, and the location within walking distance to Disneyland. The breakfast could use some help— the eggs were terrible even for a free hotel breakfast. The kids liked the waffles, of course. Parking is expensive. Overall, would definitely stay there again.

Clean room, had to wait right at the published check in time to get a room. This is a family crowd hotel. Our 4 night stay was always loud & noisy from upstairs room occupants that stomped all around their floor as early as 7am & at night when the kids bedtime would be around 8-9pm. The daily breakfast in the am was excellent! Staff kept everything replenished & so clean & NEAT! Would stay here again but that stomping from neighbors is a bit tough when you want to sleep in. Occupants need to be mindful of other hotel guests with their moving activities- this won't be the hotels fault so we never put in a complaint.

Overall, the hotel was good. But **CHECK THE REFRIGERATOR** before stuffing it full of food. I bought some lunches at Target so we could save a little money on restaurants. The next day ALL of the food had spoiled because the refrigerator had gone out.

Value was ok, but the cost of ubering back-and-forth to target only to have a weeks worth of lunch food go bad offset the value. Management did not reply to our Travelocity messages or our reqeusts to the front desk staff to have management contact us.

The free breakfast was nice, a large setup with DIY waffles, fruit, eggs, bacon, juices, etc. The music in the breakfast room was a bit too loud, so everyone was talking loudly in order to be heard. This atmosphere encourraged the kids to be even louder. Turning down the music a little could help. This made the breakfast room a bit too loud. The hotel’s location was extremely convenient. An easy walk to the Convention Center. Also nearby essentials like CVS, Walgreens, and a 7-Eleven within a 2 min walk from the hotel front door.

Bathrooms clean and everything worked. Plenty of towels and supplies. The room was really nice, and had a doorway between the king bed and the bunkbed room, which was good for privacy. If you close the door, the two rooms don't stay the same temperature.

Uber pick-ups and drop-offs were easy from the location. The only major issue was the refrigerator in our room not working, which led to all our food spoiling before it was replaced. Unfortunately,
