Like many hotels close to Disney the rooms are just ok. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the pillows were small and terrible.

The beds need upgrading. It felt like sleeping on a hollow mattress and please provide adequate amount of pillows unless you’re going to also upgrade the quality of your pillows. Disappointing since my last visit to say the least and will now have to try other nearby venues.

This hotel needs a massive top to bottom good old fashioned cleaning. We have stayed here in the past several times and it was never the best place but adequate. Not this time. Our room had the worst odor and the carpet was filty. The tile in the bathroom was full of mold and who knows what else. We had family pass on showering there for fear they would be dirtier when they got out of the shower. bottom line, STAY AWAY.

Room was fine. Very dated for this area. Fitness room is non existent. Staff was friendly. Balcony was awful with weak plastic chairs. For the price might want to look elsewhere first. If you don’t plan to spend much time in the room than sure stay there. Very dated though

In November we stayed at this hotel, with my family. We stayed in a room with (2) queens, sleeper sofa and set of bunk beds. Booked the same room for this trip (March 8-10) but when we checked in, the office staff stated there was no such room. Put us in a room with 2 queens, went back to the lobby, then was placed in a family suite - (1 king, sleeper sofa and bunk beds). We were told by the check in gentleman there no such room. Yes, we stayed in the first mentioned room back in November. He told me, \"no you didn't.\" I did not want to argue, so we were then sent to another room with a king, sleeper sofa and bunk beds. We mad it work, but that placed 2 adults in the bunk beds. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and this is the 1st time we were not satisfied with customer service.

The hotel was very nice. Pool area was very nice as well. Great location. Customer service was amazing! We had a 3 room reservation with 12 people so we had quite a few requests and all were met quickly. At the end of our stay, our grand daughter lost her Mickey ears and the hotel provided her with a gift bag with Mickey & Minnie ears in them. The only thing we found was the back of the bathroom door needed to be wiped down as it appeared to be dirty. Other than that, we loved the hotel and will definitely stay there again. Our new favorite! Parking was perfect. We were even allowed to park before check in and after check out for $15. Close to everything, restaurants & convenience/pharmacy stores nearby, $4 bus stop in case you get tired and don't want to walk, short walk to Disneyland and Coffee Bean is right around the corner. Met every one of our needs. We were there for 3 days. Parked our cars and never moved them!

The staff was friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. While the hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Disneyland and is reasonably priced, the property itself feels a bit outdated. Unfortunately, the AC never cooled the room to the temperature we wanted, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. That said, for the price and proximity to Disneyland, it worked well as a place to rest after long days at the park.

I had to make a few calls because I needed an extra blanket and the heater wasn't working. Also, there is no full length mirror and the refrigerator froze my stuff so I had to adjust that the staff was really sweet and accommodating and they fix the heating. Also, it was really close to my event.

The hotel is well situated: walking distance to entrance of parks/Downtown Disney with drug stores on each corner that are stocked with snacks. The rooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable. The doors to the hotel are locked so you can only enter if you have a key card: felt very safe. The water pressure in the shower was great.

The room had a lot of space. There was a sink inside and outside the bathroom which made getting ready easy. The hotel itself is dated, which is not a \"negative\" in my opinion as I care much more about a quiet, clean, safe place to sleep. If aesthetics are important to you, this may not satisfy.

Comfy enough bed, good location, shower had good pressure, great staff helped us get a spoon after our food delivery didn’t include any, also had some snacks out for after the Disneyland races for us runners. Guess I was unlucky as our room was one of the ones with a finicky AC wouldn’t cool very well ended up having to open up the balcony door to cooldown the room better. Would’ve been more than a minor annoyance had we stayed during a hotter period but wasn’t too hot throughout the day so wasn’t so bad.

Our stay was perfectly fine. The rooms were clean and comfortable enough for a short trip, and the staff provided a good level of customer service throughout our visit. The Portofino is exactly what it claims to be: a reliable 2.5 to 3-star resort. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a functional home base near the parks without the luxury price tag.

The room and bathroom was very clean with lots of space and plenty of sleeping arrangements for 3 adults attending NAMM. Yhe location was also perfect walking distance to the convention halls and several tasty restaurants from IHOP to Coffee Bean & Tea Lead to Morton’s Steakhouse and Cheesecake Factory! Plus a CVS & Walgreens on the corner for quick coneviences like water, snacks, whisky, wine & beer. A perfect experience.

The room was good, it was clean. It only lacked more pillows and blankets for the pull out couch bed. I was a bit disappointed in all the extra fees that were not disclosed properly, such as, one car did receive free parking...unless you are checking in earlier than your room was ready, and then it was $20/day for \"early parking\". I was charged that, but I only pre-checked in early, you didn't have a room ready at that time, so it's really not a proper charge that cost me $40.00.

The room was clean, however, not as advertised/listed in my payment, I was put in a one bed room which is fine as it was only me.
The inconvenience was parking, as the manager catered to other parties and sectioned off the parking lot for them. I had to park in another hotel's parking garage down the lane, and then hassle with the parking passes. I was told if I did not return the parking passes the hotel would charge me.
The in bath soaps had a very strong masculine fragrance, don't use it.
Towels are clean but not soft. like cardboard.
Bed good, slept great.
Noise level low.

I have stayed here a few times. They are very accommodating, the service and front desk is always so nice. Wish they had electric doors for stroller friendly access. Parking is interesting and could maybe use an upgrade. The overall cleanliness is decent for the caliber ande price of the hotel. Not really updated.

The outside of the hotel looks nice You walk in the lobby looks clean and decorated. But once the elevator opens to the second floor, which is a floor we stayed on. There’s an old / moldy smell. The room has a stronger smell of the same smell . Also there was no ventilation in the bathroom

The staff at check in was very helpful and kind. The staff was also accommodating in switching our room after we found black mold all over the bathroom. Under all the peeling wallpaper was covered in black mold. The ceiling was spotty with black mold but the walls and base boards were covered. It was difficult to breathe because the air was so musty. My son who is recovering from valley fever was at extreme risk, and exposure to this amount of black mold can be dangerous to anyone, but especially some one with an existing lung condition. Again the staff was helpful and switched our rooms right away but the new room also had black mold on the bathroom ceiling. It was less and didn’t smell as musty and it was very late so we weren’t able to switch hotels. Won’t stay here again. Rooms desperately need updating, deep cleaning and fumigation.

Walls are paper thin. You can hear EVERYTHING from opposing rooms. Extremely loud when showers from other rooms turn on.

Rooms are decent other than sound quality throughout the hotel. You will hear everything from everyone.
