I stayed here as i had an early flight in the morning from Stansted so flew from Edinburgh to Stansted on the Friday evening.

While booking on Hotels it says there is a free airport shuttle bus, there is not.
An uber was £40 or you canget a bus that takes 15mins that drops you a 5 minute walk from the Hotel you then have to walk downa unlit path until you get to the ramada.

Very close to stansted but very noisy all night. We had drains gurgling all night, the air vent in bathroom is loud and cant switch off, the door handles have a siren whenever anyone opens the door from the inside, so neighbours trying to be quiet still set sirens off. Flashing blue lights shine through curtains all night. Its a really disturbed night sleep for us.

Great little stopover before an early flight at Stansted. Despite being in the services area, the noise level was negligible. You can eat at the restaurants within the service area, or do what we did and take advantage of the excellent food available at the hotels own restaurant, cooked fresh to order. Great friendly staff. Booked two separate rooms, were given two on the second floor and both the rooms didn’t have any heating working in the room - the panel in one room had an error code and in the second room was locked and not useable.
When we asked at reception we were told that they were waiting for the company to come back and unlock the panels so they can be used.
We were offered extra blankets for the bed - the rooms were both freezing!!!

We arrived in time to have a meal, we chose what we wanted to then be told - it wasn’t available as they were having trouble with the suppliers of their Gammon!!!

When using the toilet in the reception area - this was broken and didn’t flush.

Overall not a good experience and will think again before booking for our next Stansted flight

I can definitely recommend the Ramada for a short stay. The staff were excellent, especially Lisa and Karolina, the breakfast was great value for money and well prepared and presented and very nourishing, the rooms are clean and well maintained with all amenities provided, the walk in shower is an excellent feature.
It’s right beside a Welcome Break stop with a myriad of eating and shopping facilities.
All in all an enjoyable stay which we will be using again in the future.

Stay at hotel was okay. Used prior to early morning flight. One thing cropped up at point of booking. Ramada charge for parking unless you book via Ramada directly. I was not aware of this charge, it is only £5. This charge has been introduced since May as i stayed there then and all guests had free parking.

Tired looking room, bathroom looked like a public toilet, stayed in room 214 and walls were heavily marked and weirdly half the bedroom floor was tiled the same as the bathroom! Not what I expected from a muti national chain. About bearable for a one night stay if you have an early flight but in future will pay the vit extra and stay at the Novatel. Always parking is not free.

Stayed here the night before a flight from Stansted Airport. Hotel was a little odd, room layout pointlessly strange. I suspect different architecture that hasn't dated well. Hotel was fine for what it was but staff felt very impersonal. Certainly did the job but there was nothing of note good or bad about the experience. Functional overnight stay in a motorway service station, but very convenient for Stansted Airport.

Room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a one night stay (for a local wedding. )There was even an iron and board. Bed was perfectly comfortable, room an ok size and we had our dog. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly.
