Very clean and comfortable hotel. Only a few steps away from the airport terminal. We arrived at 1am, check in was friendly and efficient. The 24 hr room service was appreciated, a delicious pizza and a glass of wine swiftly delivered to the room. Buffet breakfast was really good value with a great selection of foods to choose from.

Excellent location for Stansted airport.
You pay a premium price for the room because it’s walkable to airport.
Food is expensive but it’s only place to eat.
Staff are disinterested. Checkin couldn’t be bothered. Bar staff ignore me as only female at bar and served all the men. Had to shout to be served.
No water in room which for this star rating and price is terrible. When I commented at reception they gave me a bottle. Why not have them in room if offer at checkin or have a sign saying water available at reception? A cheapskate way to save money!
I will stay again because of convenience of location and not because of customer service (there is none).

We discovered a wet brown stain on the floor when we checked in and the only other option to change was a twin room. We accepted to switch but this felt like a downgrade. It was dusty, the TV wasn’t working — in general, amenities were lacking.

am writing to formally complain about our stay last night at Radisson Blu Stansted Airport, which was completely unacceptable from start to finish.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was extremely poor. We waited approximately 40 minutes just to check in. Despite booking a triple room, we were informed that none were available and were instead given connecting rooms.
The situation then became shocking and highly inappropriate: when we entered one of the rooms accompanied by your receptionist, it was already occupied. We found another guest inside in his underwear. This was deeply embarrassing and completely unacceptable, particularly as we had our 13-year-old daughter with us. This represents a serious breach of privacy and safety.
Following this incident, we were offered two drink vouchers as compensation, which we refused as we do not consume alcohol. This gesture was entirely inadequate given the severity of the situation.
We were then placed in a room with only one double bed and were promised that an additional bed would be delivered promptly. After waiting over an hour with no update, I returned to reception, only to find a different shift of staff who were completely unaware of our situation. This lack of communication and organisation is unacceptable.
We then had to wait an additional 30 minutes, meaning it was around midnight before the extra bed finally arrived, despite having checked in at 10:15 pm. Throughout this entire experience, the only response,sorry

Unfortunately the air conditioning in the bedroom did not work, temperature was 22-23.5 degrees. It was very difficult to sleep at night as hot air blown through system and I was exhausted after my stay. In the business events area temperature reached 24 degrees during the day and it was very uncomfortable. There are no windows which can be opened.

The room service meals were delivered, first evening the bread was so hard it was completely unbreakable, it had possibly been microwaved and could not be eaten. I ate the food as no other option but could not recommend it.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there are clearly issues with the building which need to be addressed.

The room I stayed in was severely outdated and needed a deep clean. There were literal brown stains splashed up the curtains, walls and even the bed. The carpet was badly damaged and covered in stains. It felt absolutely disgusting. Some of the fittings in the bathroom were old, dirty and RUSTY. Needs urgent attention.

Everything about this hotel was top-of-the-line! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful drinks and food were great and the location was the best part— we were able to get in and out of London, so easily on the train. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here in the future.

If you are going to Stansted I would highly recommend staying at another hotel as there are cheaper ones in the area and this one is not worth the price. Why? The staff.

Whilst the room is a nice size with a nice bed the staff are the reason not to stay. The first issue I incurred was at check in, they ignored the fact there was a queue and started serving people that just walked into the hotel ignoring the people who had waited ages. When this was raised the staff member started to have an inside joke with the people who had queue jumped making me feel uncomfortable and feeling upset as I felt ridiculed for following the rules.

Additionally, the rooms are sound proof yet at 11:45pm the bar was empty ( I had a room looking out to the bar and could see all the seats and it was empty and about 5 staff members) so the staff decided to turn the music up so loud that even in a room where you can't hear your neighbours you could clearly hear the music loudly and the songs. I phoned reception to ask them to turn it down as they only turned it up as it was only staff in the bar only to have no apology and the staff member laugh at me for making a complaint. Unacceptable.

In the morning I went to make a formal complaint about the staff members and it ended up being the staff member that laughed at me on the phone. I told him I never experienced this sort of behaviour from a Radisson before and said to him I wish I stayed at a different hotel and he said yes maybe you should. Which

The hotel was across the street from Stansted Airport. We did not even need a shuttle. Beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist us with printing tickets, helping with luggage. I would definitely stay there again if I were to fly out of Stansted.

We were very dissatisfied, the bar area was was dirty, I asked for a 125ml of wine but was given far more- dangerous! We had to ask for the table to be wiped, the menu was not suitable as we only wanted a light snack ahead of an early morning start. We didn't use facilities, it was just a quick stay over but firstly we booked into a double room when I explicitly asked for a twi. My son and I had to trail all the way to reception to get a twin room . We wanted to relax and watch TV but it would only play for 3 or 4 minutes before going off, in the end we just turned it off and went to sleep .
The bed was fantastic, and the pillows wonderful 😊.
They were the highlights of the stay, so I can't give 5 🌟 but a 3/4 🌟. Disappointed

On the negative side: The public areas are fine but the rooms are battered and out of date. The bathrooms were grimy and in poor condition. Hallway carpets had holes and stains. It was overpriced for the quality and should be a 3 star rating. On the plus side: the staff tried hard and the location is ideal

Sadly I always find the bar and bar staff a disappointment- and I stay regularly
It’s nothing they do wrong - but I expect more professional attendance to be honest - the person collecting glasses was slouching around in dirty trainers
The staff seem to lack expertise to give wha to would call the proper experience
I regularly hear complaints also about the bar food and service

Usually the staff are nice and the rooms are fine. On this occasion my experience was the opposite. When I arrived, the desk clerk was all smiles until he asked if I was having breakfast and then was I using the hotel car parking when I said no to both questions he showed his displeasure and was curt. The room he gave me was a normal with a double bed, but it also had a heavy fold-out single bed which took up over of the remaining free space! I stand on the thing to get to close the curtains and it was pushing up against the desk! I clearly for a ‘Standard Room’ ‘Not a Standard Room - Triple’ When I asked for a change of room I was told there we none available even though the hotel wasn’t particularly busy. I will go to the Hilton next time.
