We took the train from our home in the west country to Stansted. It's an easy walk to/from the train station in the airport although it could have done with some signage (took a bit to find). We were nicely greeted by the desk staff upon arrival and checked in quickly. We dropped the luggage in the room and headed down to get some dinner. The hostess and wait staff were great as was the pizza we shared.
Our negatives for this hotel were two fold.
1) Just because your clients are a \"captive audience\" doesn't mean you have to charge an exorbitant amount for drinks and food!
2) Our room carpet was dirty and worn, literally torn and threadbare outside the bathroom!
Luckily, like most of their guests probably, we were there for less than 12 hours in anticipation of an early morning flight. We will stay there again if needed for an early morning flight, but just make certain to grab dinner before we arrive.

We go back to Radisson at Stansted over and over again due to its proximity to the terminal (very quick walk) but the positives stop there and this time I find myself wondering why, as repeat customers (we must book a room at least 5 or 6 times a year), we were assigned a horribly tired and dated disabled room with terrible shower water pressure and no ability to adjust the temperature. The room was warm, the air conditioning poor, and with no ability to open the windows for air! All for a pricely sum to boot !

Ok hotel for convenience but staff need improving. Had to argue for a room service meal from the full Menu as the kitchen had “closed” 15 mins before the stated time. Waited 20 mins for an omelette which lacked some of the ingredients requested. Stupid queuing at the bar instead of using all of it - one line across the whole foyer. Not geared up for good service. Aircon is noisy even when switched off noise comes through the vents

I left my purse in the drawer, of quite sentimental value as had been bought for me on another holiday and contained about 50 euros. Realised once I’d gone through security in at the airport next door, Phoned hotel several times about an hour after I’d checked out, no answer. My husband phoned different numbers there was no way to talk to a human at the desk, Emailed reception immediately, so someone could go to the room before housekeeping would even get in there( we left at 6am) it took 2 days for a reply!!! and all that said was they would pass my email on to housekeeping. Nobody has been in touch since. Obviously if there first response took 2 days I don’t suppose it would even be worth looking by then. Very poor response and communication, well basically none.

Easy-going hotel, a walk from the terminal, clean, tidy, nice staff, good wifi, slightly weird bed angle (who needs to sleep at a diagonal to the room). Does what it needs you to. If you are being dropped off, put the car registration number in the terminal at reception when you check in, so the driver doesn't get charged.

The Airport was closer to the reception than our room was.

If you don't like heights, beware you get out of the lift & you can see straight down to reception & you have to walk along a fairly narrow part with glass on both sides, again looking down until you get into the part of the building with the rooms.

Food is typical for around an airport average at best & overpriced.

Next time, to hell with it, I will leave home at 03.00, at least I will get a decent meal the night before.

The staff was great especially Arun at the bar who did his best to make me smile after the pool fiasco and helped other staff understand orders. He’s management material. . It is very easy to walk to the airport but the stated pool closing hour was as 8 which is early. I went down at 7:40 and was told that it was too late to get in, last in is7:30 but no one said. After a very hot day walking in London, I was not happy. Also, you can’t charge food to your room so I needed to go back to my room and get a card.

Convenient stop off before flight from Stansted. Busy on the first day of half term, but that's to be expected! We enjoyed the pool. Fish and chips at the restaurant were excellent. Pizza was fine but not great. Comfortable beds. Easy walk to the terminal in the morning.

Need to be updated, every thing seemed a little grubby and tired especially at the price point you pay. I would also expect the availability of a walk in shower rather that having to step over a bath especially as I have rheumatoid arthritis, and had booked a junior suite as the photos showed a walk-in shower online.

Perfect location for the terminal. Car park was completely full so I wouldn’t rely on getting a space (maybe try the Green multi story car park next door). Very quiet room overlooking the lobby bar. Very quick check in & check out with pleasant staff.

This is the kind of hotel that makes you wonder if the designer has ever actually stayed at a hotel. Everything was clean and shiny, but the bedside table was miles from the bed and the charger ports hanging in mid air. Fine if you have super long arms and cables. Not so good if you want to charge a power bank with a tiny cable.

Only one tea bag, which wasn’t ideal.

But the place is clean, nice and walking distance to Stansted, great for an early morning flight. Just bring long cables.

Over in London for a football game. One night stopover, early start next morning, very early.
Left my bag in hotel as I was too early for check-in.
Back to hotel after game and was greeted by a very pleasant receptionist. Retrieved my bag and check-in was a breeze.
Room was clean and the bed very welcoming.
Only a few hours in the very comfortable bed. Showered and just a very short walk to the airport.
Not my first stay and certainly not my last and oh yea my team won 😊

The hotel is nice and comfortable rooms but such a boring place! Nothing much to do….food so expensive….not even a bottle of water supplied in room! Ended up taking the short walk into the airport to get a train to Bishops Stortford which is a nice little town with some decent shops and restaurants.
Staff are very robotic with little real interaction. For the price is really not worth it so lesson learnt to not come again!

Excellent little find this one literally only 5 mins to the terminal but beware of the drop off charges! Advertised at £7 but pretty sure it didn't show the duration. My partner was charged £17!

I would recommend the hotel and its facilities and would definitely stay again.

The lobby is the best part of the hotel.. otherwise it’s truly a waste of money. Room was old and the toilet didn’t flush properly.
Smelt of “old”

We ate at the restaurant terrible seabass burnt skin. And my sweet potato fries only arrived after asking for it again, half cooked.
£156 for the pleasure.

I have stay across the world and this is by far up there with the worst wouldn’t not return

Bed was at 45 degrees to the room ! So on one side you have nowhere to put a phone or a drink it also means the TV is at 90degrees to the bed so you can’t hardly see it. The TV kept turning off for no reason and also occasionally went green. Aircon didn’t work correctly. I reported it all to reception.
Food is excellent but expensive, staff are fantastic.All in all very good but don’t stay in room 2071 !

There was a large black hair in the bed when I pulled back the covers; the Wi-Fi didn’t work and there was zero 4G coverage in that area. I couldn’t wait to leave.

Very convenient hotel nearby the Stansted airport. The basic rooms are very basic, mine was lacking the shampoo and hand lotion and the wardrobe's door were broken.
The bed was super comfortable and the curtains perfectly blocked out the outside world. The room was super clean and the fridge ready to store your own stuff.
All in all, great spot to stay the night before an early flight from Stansted.

The drawer holding the safe was broken and nearly fell on my foot. When I reported it the receptionist’s first comment was ‘are you ok?’
That drawer and one in the desk were replaced very quickly.

The only let down was the lack of gluten free options on the menu in the restaurant for our evening meal. It took 3 staff for me to explain my dietary needs for coeliac disease before finally being offered an adapted chicken dinner.

Hotel and room was immaculate in terms of cleanliness.
Great location for flights as only a 5 minute walk to bag drop.
Room was extremely hot. Air con worked but was so unbelievably loud you could not sleep with it on. This led to a very short amount of sleep and with an important meeting the next day this was a disaster.
Sad to say I don’t think I can recommend staying here.

The staff were perfectly pleasant and helpful, and the reception area looks lovely. However, the room itself was extremely disappointing—especially considering the price paid.

The bathroom was in poor condition, with a mouldy, deteriorating bath and worn strips coming away. The curtains were dirty and stained, and tiles were broken and falling apart. Even the USB chargers by the bed weren’t functioning properly.

Overall, the condition of the room was shocking. I arrived at 9pm and was leaving again at 5am, so I didn’t have the time to request a room change, but it’s safe to say I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. A real shame given the positive first impression at reception.

I have since been given points to help towards another hotel booking for the future. But I still had to write an honest review for future people booking

Great big room, clean and quiet but the decor is a bit dated and bashed about a bit. Think for the price they need to spruce the rooms up a bit. However, the big plus is you can walk to the airport instead of the £4 transfer bus some of the other hotels have at Stanstead.
