While the staff were lovely, and the hotel appeared clean, there was an overpowering sewage smell in the room. We were only staying for a few hours so we didn't ask to switch rooms, but the smell was very overpowering. The shower was also lukewarm, and not very powerful. However, despite this, the bed was comfy and as said before, the staff were lovely and helpful.

We only ever stay in the Novotel at Stansted. Such a great hotel, with lovely staff. The rooms are comfortable, with great beds. The shuttle bus is spot on, and we leave our car there in their great spacious car park.

We got a wake up call at 4.30am when it wasn't requested. Explanation in the morning was they meant to phone room 143 not 134. It woke our baby and meant we were also up from 4.30am onwards after arriving at 2am. Not ideal.

Hi where to begin, at the beginning is probably best. At check in we were given a room without a bath which I had booked, but apparently the only rooms that have a bath are family rooms and not the superior room which we booked. After a little negotiation the helpful receptionist did move us to a family room which are the only rooms with a bath, which is not made clear on the website room details.Unfortunately after a couple of hours in our new room we noticed that the room was becoming colder, after calling Reception they sent maintenance to come and fix the Air conditioning which was not working properly.
In the morning we went down for for Breakfast at 9-20am (breakfast is served until 10) We were made to feel uncomfortable by the staff hovering around and informing us they were making up tables ready
for Lunchtime !! All in all very disappointing

Great place to stay when you have an early flight at Stansted. Room was stylish, clean and had a very comfy bed. The rainfall shower was perfect at waking you up. Parking was £15 for the night but compared with the cost of a holiday and the convenience of a 5min drive to stansted I think it was a good price.
