It’s convenient location. That’s about it. Over priced for the ok stay beds and bedding not the best lumpy pillows thin duvets bathroom just looks old and not clean looking. Extra £5 for parking and breakfast is cold. The pub that is in walking distance the kings arms is bang on for food and good prices

Fairly typical mid range travel hotel. Surprisingly quiet considering the location on a motorway services.

Pros:

Quiet.
Given choice of rooms.
Second lock on inside of bedroom door.
Comfortable bad.

Cons:

Some items were run out at breakfast.
Not the best quality of breakfast.
Cost quite high.
Some black mould in the bathroom.

Overall ok but would probably find somewhere else in the future.

Hotel car park too small, and you need to exit the whole service area and re-enter to follow the one way system to get to the service area car park, which is available as an overflow. Once parked there, a clearer signage to the hotel is needed.

Room clean but a bit noisy. Shower was excellent, bed comfy.

Bar was out of two draught beers from an already small selection.

Unpleasant smell in corridor. Hotel grounds need professional attention.

It's a cheap hotel that is clean and has the basic facilities, and the staff are polite.
However the whole place is run down and very dated. I expected a bit more from a Wyndham hotel.
It's perfectly fine if it's just a room for the night that you need but wouldn't want to be there any longer. We had a very late flight into Bristol and didn't want to do the 3 hour onward journey at 2am, so sleeping there was better than sleeping in the car.

The room was clean and spacious enough for us to rest. However the facilities provided were a little basic. No water bottle or glasses provided. No mini fridge. No AC. No escalator. Bathroom shower was leaking water onto the floor. No emergency button in the bathroom.

The breakfast was ok but not enough vegan options were provided.

The hotel is just minutes off the M5 but an easy bus journey into the centre of Bristol. We had a lovely evening in Bristol and easily got back to the hotel. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. The room had everything we needed and we had a choice of double or twin. Lovely breakfast. Great value for money. Lots of parking. We arrived a little early and it was no problem for us to check in.

Cleanliness of the room was poor. One staff member seemed to be running the entire place on his own - reception, bar and restaurant. He did a good job but there were some slight delays when he was doing other things. Not his fault. Food was questionable for the price. ed was comfy.

The hotel is on a motorway service station, and although the windows were closed you could hear the refrigerator trucks all night long. The room had no heating that worked so was freezing all night.

We arrived after late flight. I had informed hotel at time of booking but was asked to contact again on arrival day so room would not be sold on.
There were roadworks on the junction for hotel meaning you had to drive to next junction and return. It would be nice to have been advised of this. The roadworks also meant the carpark was full and although on asking we were told we could park anywhere in services it is a one way road and leaving would mean another detour up the motorway. We parked in HGV bay as advised by receptionist - this information could easily be shared in advance. Since our last stay there has been introduction of £5 parking charge.
This is a budget hotel and it is not too expensive. When i book double room I would expect sufficient towels. We had one bath towel, no hand towels. Arriving at 01.00 you can't be bothered to go back to reception to ask for basics.
We have booked another budget hotel for our next late flight so we can judge if our expectations are too high or if Ramada is no longer for us.

The gym is definitely a bonus! The staff were welcoming. I was pleased to see that there was fresh fruit available at breakfast, as I had mentioned the lack of fresh options in a previous review. The soap dispenser had also been included in the room (same one as previously), but there was no soap! Could this be topped up? Handy parking and shopping in the services area.

The room was adequate but the bathroom was tired and didnt feel clean. It was clean but I didn't feel it was upto the usual standards I would expect from this hotel. I didnt even want to use the shower.

When I arrived about 6.30pm I went to my room and it was too hot as heater was left on. I then went to the restaurant after a 4hr drive wanting a meal but there was no steak left so could not have that or the mixed grill. I did not want a burger or curry so had to go with a pizza. This then took approx. 40mins to appear and a side of onion rings. I got 3 rings for £4! Rip off. There was not offer of a free soft drink or discount for my wait

We have just used this property twice, on the way and way back from our trip. On the first leg of the journey we were notified of a recently introduced charge for the parking which applies to guests who have booked through Expedia only. I explained that our booking was made and paid for 11 months previous and they should honour those t&c, we were told to either pay it, move the car off site or expect a fine.
On the return leg there was no mention of the charge thankfully, but entering the room we found just one bath towel, I returned to reception where I was given another bath towel, but advised he could not let us have hand towels (we will remember to take are own in future) however once in the shower the gel dispenser was completely empty.

The Wyndham Bristol West offers comfortable accommodation in a convenient location. The room was clean and spacious, and staff were polite and helpful. While the hotel is a little out of the city centre, it’s easy to reach by car and parking is available. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Overall, a pleasant stay.

I left an item after having checked out and when I returned to the hotel the following morning to follow up as to whether it had been found, the guy on reception was not very happy! I never heard anything back so assumed it had not been found.

Lovely welcome at reception. Room much larger than anticipated. Bathroom ok but could do with an update or a very good clean. Shower was excellent and towels soft and large! We didnt have breakfast as was visiting family so had breakfast at theirs. Beds clean and comfortable. Maybe the mattress was a little on the soft side for me but then i do prefer a firm mattress. Overall i would definitely stay again. Not only is it very convenient for visiting family in the area but its excellent value for money and generally a great stay.

The room smelled awful. Like mold or damp. No window. Heating also smelt bad.
Remote control didn't work. No kettle, cups with tea and coffee sachets but no bloody kettle! What's the point in that?
The room we had was right next to the communal door so was also very very noisy with people passing constantly at night and early morning.

Unfortunately we didn’t have food/breakfast or drink in the bar as we checked in at 11pm after a late flight and just wanted to get home in the mornign!
Great location, easy to find and room was ideal!
Clean, tidy and comfortable. Tea and coffee, lovely shower!
Would definitely stay again!

On entering room 37 we were disappointed by the musty smell and the stains on the carpet and the black spots in the shower.......we had just arrived in from a late night flight so just had to go with it. The bedding was marked.
We left in the morning without using the facilities. We stood at reception to try to talk to the receptionist but he was busy on the phone so we just left.
We definitely won't be returning.

Rooms were clean, wifi was good, break fast was alright, though no healthy options like fruits..
The exhaust in bathroom was not working and was similar issue last time couple of months back. This causes moisture and damp in bathroom and also mould in some areas.
The heating is not central and difficult to set in a convection radiator manually. Not at all eco-friendly way to heat the rooms. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless improved.
