But room #116 was noisy (HVAC & fridge), the bathroom door barely cleared the toilet, it can't open fully because of the TP holder, and it has inadequate clearance above the floor so it jams on the bathmat, and the bathroom fan didn't move any air, certainly not commensurate with the amount of noise it made.

What a great little place to stay when visiting Ojai! The staff was super friendly and helpful with their restaurant recommendations (which were spot on)! The room was large and clean. Only complaint is AC was a little noisy, but happy to have it with the heat, and it worked well to cool the room! TV had cable, refrigerator in the closet- everything we could ask for at a reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again if we happen to venture back to town!

The room was great and the staff was nice. The online paperwork to check in was a little annoying. But the hotel is light years better than when I stayed at the “Chantico Inn” up the street. I’ll never go back to that place. At Chantico, I was there for 3 weeks and had to change rooms 6 times do to maintenance issues in all their rooms. I do wish that this place offered a continental breakfast, but that’s really my only complaint. The king bed room I had was huge.

The young man at the front desk was very friendly and made a lot of recommendations for local spots. We were able to rent a pack n play for our baby for $10 a night. We only stayed one night, but our stay was very enjoyable. The rooms look small in some of the pictures, but they are actually very spacious. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Unfortunately, due to strong winds, there was a power outage around midnight. While I should have been asleep, I found myself awake and feeling anxious. I decided to call the front desk and ended up speaking with Jackie. I asked if there was any update on when the power might be restored, but understandably, there wasn’t any news yet. Throughout the call, Jackie was incredibly kind and patient. She calmly helped ease my anxiety, offering to bring me a flashlight and extra blankets.
