You can call the hotel ahead of time and ask for accommodations that fit your needs, like downstair rooms since they have no elevator and walk in showers if you're disabled etc., the ac works well and has different settings and can be used for heating as well. we don't know if it has a pool, we weren't there for it, we have family close by and its easier and more convenient than to overcrowd the in-laws,

Honestly, I didn't like anything about this property. It did not have an elevator and would have made things very difficult for my sister (who uses a walker) had they not switched rooms for us from the second to the first floor. The room itself was dimly lit with fluorescent lights. The furniture was garage sale comparable. The refrigerator stopped working and all of our food spoiled.

Place was awesome, staff very attentive and the food was great. But being a high end place and for the price, hearing the train every 4 hours or so in the day, hearing people yelling at night… made me question spending the money I spent there. Great view, nice room sure but the tranquility wasn’t there if you’re REALLY looking to relax. Just my opinion, if your into bar hopping and the night life go for it. If you’re looking for peace, it’s not worth the money.

I like the fact that they will accommodate you as much as possible to fit your needs, we originally had an upstairs room but since they have no elevators, we asked to change downstairs and with a walk-in shower due to our disabilities and they were more than happy to accommodate us

This hotel needs to review its lighting design. In my room I had one switch which lit up two very bright white ceiling lights. That was it. No lights by the bed, no lamps, no ability to modulate the light. We who stay in motels often use the bed as the main piece of furniture. That's where lights should focus. Plus they did not have coffee!!!

The property was very, very disappointing. The person at the front desk could not even take their eyes off of the TV to talk with you long enough to find out what room we should have. Finally in the room we had no towels no soap no Kleenex no toilet paper no blanket. Had to go to the desk to ask for some things we never did get toilet paper had to go buy ourselves. It was basically a bear blank room. The TV was maybe 24 inches and it could be turned on and off and that is all. Would never recommend it. The only reason we ended up having to stay was because we could not find anything else available.

AWFUL customer service!!! Don’t waste your money on this place! Front desk was extremely rude! We weren’t greeted when we arrived. The lady at the front desk was then very rude because I arrived 20 min early for my check in time. So I waited patiently. Then when it was time to check in she continued to be rude. I talked with other guest and they all had a similar experience. I regret staying here. I would of left but it was thanksgiving night and there was no other place to stay!!

Check in was fast and simple thanks to using hotels.com! After check in I needed assistance in my room and I was helped immediately. AC system worked great but whoever was staying above my room had heavy feet, sounded like a child.

Staff was excellent, price good but condition of the building and rooms were poor at best. Obvious the owners do reinvest any profits back into the business. Card reader on room door was broken, back door to the parking lot was busted open and would not close (safety issue), tv remote did not work, and toothbrush stick in sink drain. My biggest complaint Is that the entry light was motion sensitive and every time you went you to the restroom it triggered and stayed on for 10 minutes. The light is extremely bright and lights up the room so you can’t get back to sleep until it goes off.

The place is OK, for a cheap hotel, but don't expect much in terms of the service. We asked twice for extra pillows and they never arrived. The bathroom was clean but the towel hanger was broken, as was one of the lights. They do clean the room every day, but they have not washed the carpets in a long time and they are stained. The side door to the motel will not work with the room key. The place is conveniently located: close to Ventura and Ojai.

Possibly the best and cheapest options for a stay in Santa Paula. Great service, clean rooms, and plenty of restraints and convince stores nearby. Only issue I found was a couple wall electrical sockets didn't work properly.
Highly consider staying here the next time you're visiting Santa Paula. Make sure to book well in advance as they are often sold out of rooms.

if everything is booked and you cant cancel the trip but still want to make something happen, then book it. its kinda dirty and you need sandals to walk on carpet around house. some rooms look like people have been living there. Not a romantic getaway, but definatley a basic basic basic options to enjoy Ojai if your looking just for a roof over your head at night.

Well there was some sort of tape in the tub which one could assume was to keep from leaking/water damage. There was section of the wall paper on other side of shower that was horrible replaced, the top blanket was absolutely disgustingly dirty, and mini fridge didn’t work and reeked of MOLD!!! The morning/afternoon crew was extremely aggressive and very very rude!

Night clerk was very informative and helpful and wanted to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I let her know everything about the room and she was willing to move me to another room. Then I had issues with my cards and they kept deactivating (my phone was NOT on me) and the over night clerk was helpful and showed me what was wrong and helped me correct the issue, also when I called down they allowed me to stay later then checkout. I will admit I over slept, but I left the room as clean as possible, towels and sheets wrapped up and ready for removal, and trash stacked neatly and ready to be tossed.
Yet the morning clerk was extremely rude and completely insensitive. I don’t have family and holidays are hard enough. Then to start my day with such hostility and unfriendliness was unacceptable. I’m paying for your check to stay in this hotel room please have a little compassion and understanding. Not everyone is out to make your life and job more difficult.
