The location of the Su Nido Inn was perfect for the start of the marathon. It was also very convenient to downtown food and shopping. My only complaint is that the photo on hotels.com showed a bathtub, so I thought I was booking a suite with a tub (a necessity after a marathon). Well the Bluejay suite had no tub, which was a big disappointment. I tried to switch suites, but they were sold out. So next time I would book directly through Su Nido Inn to make sure you know what you are getting.

Great walkable location The hotel courtyard, with umbrella tables and a fountain, was decorated nicely for the holidays. The suite was spacious and the bed comfortable. Where this property falls short is the service. Aside from when I checked in, no one is on staff at the property. If you need something you can call the desk at their other Ojai hotel. Surprisingly, the extra $15 per day \"amenity fee\" does not include housekeeping service until your third day. I stayed for a weekend(Fr., Sat. checking out Sunday) so was not eligible for having the bed made, trash emptied or bottles of water restocked. You're allowed to use the pool at their other property where the staff actually work, but I didn't bother. When I called staff to ask about the housekeeping, I was told they only clean your room after three days because the staff has to clean the other hotel, so they rotate. Guess hiring more staff or paying overtime is not an option.

Really nice rooms and property with a gated courtyard with nice trees and seating areas. Not sure about the \"resort fee\" as there were no amenities - just some bikes and a pool at a sister hotel you would have to drive too (we did not). It is a short walk to the main street, but there are limited things to see and do and dining choices are few and far between - we did enjoy the walk on the recreation trail (Ojai Valley Trail) and found a couple of nice wine tasting spots in town (Ojai Vineyard and Majestic Oak).

Bed is not so comfortable, privacy was lacking unless all blinds/curtains closed which then makes it dark. Parking good, but my view from all windows was the parking lot. Nice central courtyard but overall there is better bang for the buck elsewhere

Hotel is well located to downtown area. Due to Covid situation, everything was done by text.....not a problem. No housekeeping at all. We texted for clean towels, they entered the room and left the towels and did not take the dirty towels with them, nor did they take the trash. I understand staying safe but it was a hotel room and they certainly expected full payment. Room was large but in need of renovation. Bedding and bed were very old as was furniture. Lacked sufficient hot water for our showers. We were told there was a pool and hot tub but as it turned out, these were located at a sister property blocks away. Hotel was pricey and fell well below our expectations. Would not recommend.

Great place for a relaxing getaway
Loved staying here for our honeymoon. Great location, we felt right at home. We loved that there were dishes and a small kitchenette so we could have some meals in the room comfortably. Would definitely recommend!

The room exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable, roomy and tastefully decorated. Everything was in excellent condition, it looked like this was just recently updated or at least is well maintained. The bikes on the premises were also a fun way to get around. Great location, close to everything but still quiet. Su Nido will be our first option when we return to Ojai.

Lovely, central, but a few pandemic wrinkles
Su Nido is located just a block from the Ojai Arcade, with plenty of restaurants and shopping, and has a lovely courtyard for taking in the Ojai calm and peacefulness. My suite (Peacock) was comfortable, with a bedroom, living room, and small kitchen in between. Appointments were fine, with a fridge and Keurig coffee machine but no microwave. Pandemic precautions made the pre-check-in more complicated than it could have been, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Peacock suite would be good for a couple or small family, but is probably a bit tight for any larger group, as the rooms were quite small. Some minor maintenance problems cropped up, but nothing serious, and I was very comfortable during my stay.

The property is great, and the suite was nice. Service was warm and friendly but requiref some phone calls for clarification and to receive some missing items. This was due to their Covid protocol. The big problem is that they have some upstairs rooms and they assigned one to a family with two very young kids, who do what kids do. In my case at 6am there was a continuous loud pounding from the ceiling due to a kid running back and forth. So even though the room was nice, the overall experience was no better than the average motel, and this was for over $400 out the door price. If the upstairs room happened to be all they had which could sleep that number, then it was bad luck. But if they gave the room to that family knowing there were children, and knowing the property has hard floors, then that was dumb.

Su Nido is a beautiful little boutique hotel with very nice kitchenettes, fireplace and a lovely patio area. The location is perfect.... within 2-3 blocks of Java & Joe coffee, the Art Center, delicious restaurants and a trolley stop:) It should be noted that there are only king beds. There are no rooms with two beds. My cousin and I shared a bed and it was very comfortable, but we had assumed we would each have our own bed. Anyway, it all worked out fine. The bathroom is really nice and the general vibe is wonderful. Staff was excellent! Very helpful!!! Also, you will receive a complimentary wine tasting for two at the nearby winery.

Comfortable room - great layout and nice to have kitchenette and living area. Location is terrific - right in town so an easy walk to shops, yoga, restaurants, etc. it's not cheap but I would recommend to others and would definitely stay again.

Su Nudo Inn is a charming little boutique that is right next to the Ojai main strip. Close to a lot of restaurants and shopping and the Ojai Day Spa. The Hotel is adorable but there is no lobby so no real hotel to judge. However the rooms are great and spacious and the courtyard is very cute. Parking is spacious which is great. Also close to a great farmers market on Sundays.

We were on a tour of CA in a rental car so we had quite a lot of luggage and needed a bit of space for a four day stay. Su Nido was ideal for this, with three rooms to spread out into including a small self catering kitchen area. The suite was very clean, well furnished and well maintained. Most of the suites were around a central very secure nicely presented courtyard area. The area is very quiet and yet only 5 minutes walk from Ojai's restaraunts and shops.
There is plenty free on site parking and the wifi was good. We could not fault this place in any way, it was perfect for us.

This is a most comfortable property, wonderful staff, although there was not much interaction with them, and an excellent location. They were very helpful in recommendations for tours and restaurants. Compared to other hotels we reviewed, this hotel was well priced and provided good value. I would certainly recommend this property.

I arrived at the hotel 2.30 pm and door to office was locked and a sign said check inn 3-5. The office is open from 9-5 .
Checked out Sunday and received a knock on the door 11.05 and a women told me check out was at 11.00, I was in my robe and had planned to check out at noon. She said is 11.30 ok . Highly unusual and at best impolite . No sign in the room about check out . Unlikely full on a Sunday ,including the inn or the hotel I moved to.
I have lived in 0jai for 25 years and it's not very ojai behavior. I have also stayed at about all hotels and b & b ,s .
I have traveled all over the world and have never had anybody knock on the door 5 min after normal check out.
Minor notes: never got the heat to work,the slippers are for Japanese feet,I am size 9, hot water several times turned cold and I use little water .
However bed was very comfortable .

Charming inn that is right in the middle of everything. You won't need to drive anywhere unless you ambitious enough to go hiking or find more distant activities. We arrived in town early and there was no one on location. Doors were locked and a sign in the office that check in is at 3. We called office but no one picked up. We had to leave a message. There should be more detail about this check in process. We went down to a nearby inn in which they accommodated our early arrival and we stayed there.

We could not have been more pleased with our three-night stay at Su Nido. The nine suites surrounding a secure courtyard, spacious rooms (we stayed in the Cardinal suite, where the parlor and bedroom are separated by the kitchenette and large bathroom), very tasteful décor, and peaceful setting just two blocks from restaurants and shopping combined to make this a very memorable stay.

Quaint Inn with 9 rooms total, all surrounded by a charming courtyard. Staff was incredibly service-focused, and communicated multiple times via text regarding their availability, check in/out times, etc. Kitchenette fully stocked with snacks and beverages, with a toaster and microwave. Nice toiletries, and a comfortable bathroom with a full-size tub and separate shower. Walking distance to all in-town activities, and an amazing massage had (at a discount, thanks to being a guest of the Inn) at the Ojai Day Spa down the street. We'd definitely return!
